store manager
Jerry Reinbark is a very rude, ungrateful and very disrespectful to his staff. He has taken items from the shelf and thrown them on the floor and expected the staff member to pick them up because he felt that they didn't know how to level the shelf properly. Jerry has talked to his management staff rudely to the point where he has made them cry. Jerry doesn't give anyone credit for anything that they do even when they are busting their ### to make sure that things are done in a timely fashion. He suspends staff members when he is basically accusing them of doing something that he didn't even see. He tries to make people work schedules that he knows they cant work due to transportation and then takes them off schedule when he finds out he called the union on him. I think this is crazy and needs to be handled before things get out of control and people start taking things into their own hands. Staff members are getting sick and tired of being talked to like they are 2 yrs old. We are just sick in tired of being sick in tired!
Stay away from these guys
I brought in a prescription for a refill. This was an early refill, (last fill was on 02/16/2010 at another pharmacy (CVS). The medication was Xanax, a controlled substance. I had just come from my psychiatrists office, and due to the nature of my personal prohlem, she authorized an early refill. I usually fill my prescriptions at the CVS near my home, but went to the reston Giant as it was close to my doctors office.
I was called back to the pharmacy and one of the techs told me this was a controlled substance and since I had had it refilled somewhere else previously it could not be be refilled. I told her my doctor, (who had also written the previous prescription on February 15th) was aware that it was an early refill and had written it nontheless. As I was standing there, she went back to a Mr. Susco and told him tis. He ROLLED his eyes and said in a scarcastic voice, "I suppose I'll refill it, but if has to make one wonder why". This was said loud enough for me and another customer to hear, as well as the three other techs who were behind the counter. (I know two of the heard him say this)
She came back and said it was ok to refill, I gestured to Mr. Susco and said "Does he have anything he would like to add?" She got flustered and said, "No, he just said it was OK". I was highly insulted and embarrased and approached the counter toasked if I could have Mr. Suscos first and last name. A pharmacist asked why and I said I wanted to file a complaint. She asked why. I said that I felt that if he was going to make snarky comments about an early refill on a sedative medication without knowing my personal history, then perhaps he should have said it out of earshot of the customer (me).
Whether I fill this RX at CVS or Giant is not anybodys business, and what I am going through in my personal life is also nobodys business. He had no right to comment on a customers medication, and he certainly had no right to roll his eyes and imply that "one has to wonder why' I was getting an early refill. It just so happens that my husband is dying and I am having a hard time dealing with it. I was so upset and shaking that I could hardly sign my name.I was humiliated and shocked by his lack of professional conduct. He also looked panicky when he heard me ask for his name.
No pharmacist should be able to make remarks like that in front of a customer.
The Giant at Kline Village in Harrisburg, Pa is totally falling apart. Equipment is faulty, staff is almost non-existant, and I'm tired of seeing only 1 tech in the pharmacy and a line of people lined up and hearing the phone go off every 20 or 30 seconds. I need my medicine. Why is this particular store understaffed? Any other Giant in Harrisburg has plenty of staff. Long lines at the registers and no managers around. David, in the pharmacy is a pleasure. He has no help and he still tries to do as much as he is able. He is honest, even though most of the customers don't like to hear honesty. Becky and Al, the pharmacists, do a great job, but I hear the frustration when everyone wants stuff NOW... I'm sorry to say, but not everyone can get their stuff now... Someone has to wait. I take cancer meds and pain pills and they treat me like gold. That store needs HELP... Or better management. I suspect it needs better management.
Bad customer service
Food Giant Customer Service in Columbus, MS is very unprofessional! Some customers are ignored, while others are favored and are tended to first! Employees are slow to respond to the needs of customers, and the dining area of the grocery is very unclean! It is very unfair for customers, who work just as harder or even harder, to be treated like garbage. I hope the employee attitude of Food Giant is changed very soon. I don't recommend any one to use their customer service desk until new, responsible employees are hired. It is a shame. This is the only complaint I have against this store.
I went shopping at Giant Food in Kentlands, MD. Normally, I like the store. At the moment I am disabled with a plastic boot covering my food and lower leg. Walking is difficult but walking backwards is nearly impossible. I was standing at the end cap for Thomas English Muffins. Someone was restocking that shelf. He could have asked me what I needed. He didn't. He insisted that I move backwards so that he could pass in front of me with his rolling cart. I had to walk backwards because there didn't seem to be enough room for me to turn around. I could have fallen. I mentioned this to the manager who said he was sorry and he would speak with that person. To be honest he sounded he sounded insincere, so I left. I realize times are difficult right now, but this kind of behavior was rude, lazy and dangerous for me. Lenore Straus nora.straus@gmail.com

I was shopping in your West Grove store and was approached by the store manager Paul. He is very rude and standoffish. The staff doesn't like him either because I shop there regularly they talk to me. You should really find somebody more personal, likeable with people. Please due a investigation into this matter. Ask every employee in that store if they think he is fit to be a store manager? Thank you for your time I will continue shopping there!

right now i'm being harassed seriously at one.
most of this is not taken seriously, i've seen some stuff that makes me wonder if i should contact the ACLU.
