Gift card
Ordered an egift card, which was not delivered within 24 hours. I had to call twice to get them to resend it, but it was still not received. I told them I never received the confirmation email that their site said I should have. They refused to refund the card, even though it had not been activated and thus they could invalidate it. They said I could put in a refund request that would take up to 15 days for them to review. I'm going to dispute it on my credit card so they don't get paid until they address the issue. I will never buy from these people again.
Stolen money
I have ordered a gift card with a $300 balance from GiftCardMall. That was a birthday preset for my daughter. And went she wanted to use the card we found out that there was a zero balance!
I immediately contacted customer service and asked what was going on. They said that there was probably a mistake and promised to fix everything.
I emailed again several days later and was told that they need some extra time to resolve my issue.
That never happened and later they just stopped replying to my messages and every time I tried to contact them via phone I was put on hold.

Want a refund!
I have ordered an iTunes gift card for my brother as a birthday present and did not receive it because they cancelled my order for no reason! I decided to contact customer service because I was worried about my order and only then I was told that it was cancelled. The funniest part was that no one ever contacted me and never told me about that! They just said sorry and did not even offer me a refund! When I asked for my money back they said sorry again and added that they completely forgot about it. Well, hope they'll keep their promise. I do not recommend GiftCardMall.

I've had the most incredible user experience with GiftCardMall... I ordered 5x$25 iTunes gift codes to be delivered to my customers. We are taking about $125 paid using a company Amex credit card. 1-2 hrs later I get an email saying my order has been cancelled. And my account refunded. After I tried to justify who I was and why I did this order, the only replies I got were: (1) "our Risk Department has determined that your order presents a risk that warrants for it to be cancelled. Any additional accounts will also be cancelled and your account cannot be unlocked." then (2) "Not sure what to say to advise you. You will need to seek out a new vendor." Breath taking... $125 ...
Never got my cards!
I had a horrible experience with GiftCardMall. Purchased cards and after getting a confirmation email never heard anything from them. Wanted these cards for Christmas, but on Christmas day received a message that my order was cancelled. I had sent a message earlier that day to see what had happened to my cards. Anyway, later got an email that order was cancelled because I did not answer a confirmation email! But each card I ordered was approved, I saw it when I had gone to the website a few days after receiving a confirmation email. Never got my cards! I will never do business with GiftCardMall again.

This company has the worst customer service. I ordered gift cards for our office staff and paid extra to have them arrive in time for our luncheon. In a second order I ordered cards to be used as prizes that could be shipped anytime. After ordering online, I didn't get a confirmation, so nothing to submit for reimbursement. Then, a couple days later I get an email with an order number telling me that the order cannot not be processed because they need names for employee cards. For the employee cards, I sent a list of names. They email me again, telling me that they need names. I resend the list, but ask if they will confirm which order they're talking about. It seems when I reply the email goes to a different person so I'm having to start over. I finally call. The person on the phone is speaking in a flat tone and seems to be bored with my call. He informs me that they haven't received the list of names. I ask to resend and he says that it's already been generated with the generic name I originally ordered with. ? And, when I ask him about delivery, he can't tell me delivery dates. I explain that I paid for rush shipping, but due to their delay in wanting names that they didn't use, will mean that the shipping needs to be upgraded. He can't do anything about that. So, why did I need to email names, when the generic name originally provided would work? Last summer I had a similar issue and ended up cancelling due to their poor customer service. I'm not sure why I went back to them again. Also, last Christmas I ordered cards for my nieces and nephews with their photos. I only received 2 of the 4 ordered. When I called to follow up on the other two there had been some type of problem and they said they tried to reach me. I hadn't received any emails or phone calls. Both contacts were provided during the ordering process. This is three strikes. I'll go back to giving Target cards to employees and as prizes for customers. It's easy and no extra fees.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. I bought my daughter a visa debit card from this company for her 14th birthday. She tried to use them to order items online. The card was declined, and no purchase made, but giftcardmall is still holding the funds, and tell me it will take 6 business days until they'll be available. I would never get one of these again, total scam. I called and complained with their agents, a supervisor, and am not posting on as many websites my dissatisfaction. I also am looking at joining any class action lawsuit against them that I can find.
Do not buy! I have $100 gift card with nothing on it, when I log in to see transactions - there are none. Have spent hours on the phone to no avail. Do Not Buy! Scam!
The website is useless. It says I've created an account when I never did. Would not take the last 4 digits of my phone number to register the gift card then locked me out. Worst website ever! Do not buy a gift card that is managed by giftcardmall.com.
Will never buy from again!
I ordered two visa gift cards from giftcardmall.com. The first visa gift card ordered was sent via UPS next day air guaranteed delivery for 12/31/2012 by 10:30 AM. I received the activation code for the visa gift card via UPS next day air but I never received the visa gift card on 12/31/2012. The tracking information said the visa gift card was out for delivery. I did not receive my visa gift card from giftcardmall.com until 01/02/2013 at 10:17 AM. When I called UPS for a guaranteed service refund a supervisor named Wendy advised me that they were not able to issue a refund for the express delivery fee $19.99 because the service contract with giftcardmall.com does not allow refunds. So basically I had to eat the loss of $19.99 because UPS had too many packages on 12/31/2012 and not enough drivers and giftcardmall.com would not issue a refund of the shipping charge. For the second visa gift card order I received the visa gift card on time on 01/03/2013 as promised via UPS next day air mail before 10:30 AM, BUT the activation code that I received (on the same day, different envelope) was not for the correct visa gift card! They overnighted the wrong activation code, the code that was sent to me via UPS next day air mail was not for the card I ordered on giftcadmall.com. The activation code I received was for another gift card ordered through Staples.com b(staples.com is an affiliate/partner of giftcardmall.com). I didn't even order overnight service for Staples.com. I called customer service for giftcardmall.com and they said they would send a request to their "second level" to activate the card by the next day 5PM eastern standard time. I am sharing my experience so that others may make a more informed decision when buying from giftcardmall.com.
Looks like a scam to me
Got $100 gift card. Spent $20 at walmart. and now it says i have a $0 balance and is declinded everywhere.
I had never heard of GiftCardMall...that is, until today when a $200 charge for GiftCardMall showed up on my debit card. The transaction occurred on 2/28 (two days ago). I did not lose or temporarily misplace my card and no other unauthorized charges are showing up.
I would like a refund.

No delivery
This unscrupulous vendor has NO intention of providing their advertised service. Daughter purchased gift card for my 74th birthday at rest. in tampa, fl. When she called to tell me to watch for email, It never came. She provided me with order No.& details. I called them and was rudely told, that She would have to initiate any calls. She then did, and was told:"oh, wel still have six hours to deliver". Next day, still no email. Then when i called back i got the runaround "did you check your spam or junk mail".. Sorry, but don't have one, use poptray which takes it right off server, and no email receipt problems on any email. "Oh well there must be some delay". Each time you call, a different, and often curt or rude employee. Folks, this outfit is a total scam. Don't waste your time or money thinking they can provide a service that will accomodate your loved one for their special occasion. They are true ripoff specialists with all the 'stock answers' to combat, and frustrate you with so save your time and hard earned money. Go out and buy a gift card and Mail it your friend or loved one.
on 9/4/2012 daughter purchased A gift card from Gift card Mall, that was to be emailed me for my 74th birthday. A gift card for a restaurant in tampa. She advised me that it would be forthcoming in the email. It never did. She provided me with the order number and when i phoned them, i was curtly advised it was not my place as receipient to even contact them. So my daughter called them and got a runaround about delays, yada yada. On 9/6/2012 I filed a complaint advising of our poor treatment, lack of concern, no follow through or interest by Gift card mall.com. Later an 'employee' entered a rebuttal email stating to contact them for 'assist'. which i immediately did, and once again. NO response. Imo, this company is operating a scam to glean customer dollars by providing NO service whatsoever, while appearing to show 'concern', when in fact they are scammers. It is 9/07/2012, and i've advised my daughter to file a credit card dispute before her billing period closes to protect her from losing to this outfit. Its unfortunate that people like this exploit the emotions of ppl. who are caring enough to accomodate loved ones, and end up being hurt themselves with aggravations no one needs. I hope this report serves to help others thus preventing their losses aggrevations and to warn them of the pitfalls of clever, but devicive ploys to empty their pocketbooks. Caveat emptor.

This company is a scam. I ordered a gift card on Nov 11, 2015. It was to arrive no later than the 11th of December. Never showed up. I called a couple times was told they would resubmit the order and resend with a tracking number. Never received a follow up email. Called again and told them to just cancel the order. I am hoping they refund my money!

They are horrible! They charged me twice on my account. 1.) in June of 2012...I seen my statement and it showed the money was taken out and then all of a sudden 3 weeks later it shows I'm charged again and all of a sudden the old charged vanish from the statements of June. I called to ask why 3 weeks later I'm billed for something back in June in which I was charged? Plus I asked him to explain why the charges have vanished back in June and reappear in July? Why wasn't I refunded my money and why did the charges take 3 weeks and why the old statements don't show them anymore? Who is playing with my money?Worst company ever!

Ordered a $250 visa gift card for my niece's graduation. The next day received an email that "your order could not be processed as we were unable to verify some of the information provided". When I called to ask what information needed to be verified--they said they did not know and I would just have to try again. They also said if my billing address was even "one period" different than what they have--the purchase is declined. What a waste of time this company is!

I ordered an iTunes giftcard provided by Gift Card Mall through Amazon.com. The date was December 9. It was going to be part of a Christmas gift. By December 24 I still hadn't received anything and the tracking on Amazon said it had already been shipped. I sent and inquiry and was told by a Gift Card Mall customer service rep that they can reprint another card and send it to me again. Even though it wouln't be received by Christmas, I said yes. I still haven't received it. I complained again and was told that the card should have been delivered. My only option now seems to be a full refund. It's outrageous. Amazon should break all ties with Gift Card Mall. I will never do business with Gift Card Mall again. BUYER BEWARE!

DO NOT EVER BUY A SAFEWAY GIFT CARD- EVER. I went to the Safeway website and bought one from their linked store of giftcardmall.com. It was a gift for someone. The person took it to the store and it did not work. Manager blamed the gift card company. Spent hour on phone with giftcard mall. They blamed the store. Spent 2 more hours and several trips to store and store is still blaming giftcard mall. I finally called giftcard mall and said I want a full refund since you are all just passing the buck and nobody wants to solve the problem. They refunded the money (only thing someone could manage to do correctly). If you're buying online, you would think that by going to the safeway website for a safeway card is the BEST way to go...but obviously there is NO relationship between these 2 entities to assist the actual customer!
DO NOT PURCHASE from this site! They are the worse vendor I have EVER dealt with. I order a motorcycle from them and it came all scratched up. It was clear that the scratches are NOT due to shipping because the their are no damages to the frame and the scratches are top of and not the sides.
I called multiple time but every time I am on hold for 15 to 30 mins before I can talk to anyone and every time they said they will look into and call me back but they never do. When I asked to speak to a manager he said he was the manager. Finally after 3 months of me calling and demanding for a solution they said there are not going to do anything!
I bought 4x$25 dollar cards as I couldn't find the $100 card on the display at my local store. I found them the following week and asked if I could exchange due to the (in light print and not noticible) fee of 3.95 per card which I didnt notice at the time. Store said I could go onto giftcardmall.com and they would be happy to refund. Nope, they are not at all happy to refund, in fact it keeps saying my numbers are invalid and I cant even get anyone on the phone. Will never use them again!
Purchase Visa gift card at Albertson's specifically to make a purchase at an international online website. The transaction didn't go through. I then find out that the card was good in the US only. No where on the package where they list some conditions did it say the card was only good in the US. The only way to find out is after the purchase and opening the package to find the Terms and Conditions.
I explained the situation to the CS rep and supervisor, and all that was offered to me was:
1) refund of balance minus a $5.95 check issuing fee (this means I lose the $5.95 purchase fee and $5.95 check issuing fee)
2) buy a prepaid visa credit card and have the funds transferred (doing this would cost me another purchase/activation fee)
I just wanted the purchase fee to be added to the balance since:
a) the package did not say valid in US only
b) the terms and conditions where inside of the package and the package can't be opened until I purchased the Visa gift card
My gripe is that I know the supervisor could have done something, even send the call to her manager. It seems that they are willing to lose several customers (myself, family, friends, friends of friends, friends of family, and so on) because of their unwillingness to help or even show that they cared.
What a shame cause I usually give gift cards as gifts (especially during the holiday season) as the receiver can buy what they want. I learned my lesson.

Sent me an extra gift card, charged me for it and refuse to refund me.
I ordered a starbucks gift card from giftcardmall.com and got confirmation for the same over email. However, I received two gift cards via mail, and after checking my credit card statement I found that they charged my card twice.
I checked my giftcardmall account from where I ordered and saw just one order number (which I actually ordered) on the statement.
I called them to say that they erroneously sent me 2 cards and charged me twice. I wanted to return the 2nd gift card since I didn't need it and it didn't even appear on my order history on their website.
Customer service was very rude and told me that no returns are accepted on gift cards!
They didn't help me with the matter and when I disputed charges with my credit card, giftcardmall denied to pay them back either.
TL, DR;Please stay away from their website, this is a total scam. They charge your credit card, send you gift cards even if you don't order it.

Their card came much later than I expected
This company is a ripoff. Their card came much later than I expected (over 2 weeks), and it was scuffed and poorly laminated. Secondly, they never sent me the activation code so I couldn't use the card immediately anyway. I think this is intentional so they can sit on my money and make more interest.
