I made a booking through GotRentalCars.com for car rental from Zagreb Airport. They claimed that the payment failed and that I needed to pay but a hold showed on my account. £89 was then taken from my account but the company cancelled the booking claiming no money has been received. The call handlers deny phone conversations that took place and when sent evidence of payment - screenshots of the bank account - are pretending that it shows the payment is pending. The company refuses to acknowledge the payment and reinstate the booking or make a refund and it has therefore taken £89 without giving any service. Call handlers have also been extremely rude and refused to give details of complaints processes and hung up when this was requested.
