Home Depot Washer dryer delivery by temco logistics

Temco Logistics. How do you still stay in business? Your Yelp reviews suck!
Home Depot. What idiot Home Depot higher up makes the decision to keep making HD customers suffer with an as+clown delivery service like Temco Logistics? And why only use one delivery service? Why not use a few and create competition? Have you seen Temco Logistics Yelp reviews? Do you know the hours I spend with your phone reps over Temco Logistics' as+clown failure to deliver?

Delivery attempt #1: I got a call the night before to be ready to get delivery between 8:30 - 12:30 the next day. After waiting around all day, I called Home Depot who told me "prooduct never made it on the truck". I asked Home Depot to give me the number for the delivery company to see what's going on. Temco rep told me they're doing a doc search? and when they find the item, it'll get the on truck.

Delivery attempt #2: I got a call the night before to be ready to accept delivery between 8:30-12:30. After sitting around all day, I called Temco and the rep told me there was a shortage of drivers and the item never left the warehouse. I asked why I wasn't told so I didn't have to miss work... blah blah blah

Delivery attempt #3: Same night prior call asking me to be ready to accept delivery. I proactively called in the morning and was told the item never made it on the truck. I called Home Depot to complain offered to have them deliver to local Home Depot store, I'd hire installers and I'd give Home Depot the bill. Home Depot said they don't do it like this. We do a 3 way call with Temco and was assured that the next time, it'll get on a truck because they were going to do a "doc search?" which was what I heard after delivery attempt #1. I asked what if it doesn't happen? They said not to worry.

Delivery attempt #4: I called several times during the day to make sure the items were on the truck and my delivery "was the last one of the day". Around 5PM, I called again and was told "delivery wasn't going to happen, sorry". I went to local Home Depot store and asked if I could just buy it directly from the store and rep said it wouldn't make a difference, they use Temco for direct purchases too. I asked "aren't there a bunch of customers like me then?" Rep replied, "no, you're actually really nice"...

Delivery attempt #5: Never made it on the truck. Like previous 4 attempts, no one from Temco calls me. I call Home Depot and spend another 2 hours of my life to try to avoid dealing with Temco. Temco supervisor says she can only send an escalated email to the warehouse and like the previous 4 attempts, cannot put me in front of the delivery schedule because that's not how their scheduling system works. Unfortunately my local Lowe's is the only other store that does delivery/installation of this model and they also use Temco...

Desired outcome: Give me what I paid for two months ago, no more BS

Had a dishwasher delivery today. It was scheduled between 1-5:00 p.m At 10:22 in the morning they send me a text and say they are now two stops away. Fortunately I was home, and yes, maybe I should be happy they are coming early, but what if I was at work? The last time I used Temco for a dishwasher they didn't remove the knockout plug so it ended up flooding everywhere. In addition they tilted the old dishwasher after they removed it and that leaked on a different part of the floor. It ended up costing Temco a lot more than the dishwasher was worth. This time I was going to install it myself and paid for the haul away of the old one. I unhooked the hoses, clamps, etc. They refused to pull it out of the slot saying it was against their policy. How lazy is that? So, you want me to do all the work and then pay you for hauling it away? (I could just call my refuse company for a bulk pickup). They upset me enough that I told them I'm refusing the order, cancelling it, and take the new one and put it back on your truck. Went back to the appliance section to make sure I got credit for the entire amount. I like HD but I'm done with Temco.

This Temco outfit is apocalyptically lousy and doesn't even answer their phone for Home Depot representatives. I looked up a few numbers for them myself and they all went to voice mail. It's a black hole of information about where your appliance is when it does not show up. I have a fridge full of food sitting in a cooler and Home Depot can't give me ANY information about the delivery at all, except to say "it SHOULD be there. Well it isn't. Home Depot has lost my business for good.

I also had an extremely unfavorable experience with Temco. I purchased a washing machine from Home Depot online, on June 17th, I was scheduled to have my washing machine delivered the first time on July 13th(#1). I left very clear concise directions to call me at work so that I could come home and meet the delivery truck. I received no call but decided to come home early anyway to be there for the delivery. When I got home there was a door tag left on my doorknob that stated the delivery truck had been there and waited for 15 minutes. I had only gotten home 15 minutes after the tag was left, so I called the Home Depot appliance number, and the associate said that she would call the delivery company to see if they could come back and deliver my washing machine. The delivery company refused to come back, and their excuse was that they would be late for all the deliveries scheduled after mine. I was not happy but decided to give them another chance. I was given another date of August 8th for the next delivery(#2). I waited on the 8th for my washing machine to no avail. The next associate I spoke to that day, said that apparently there was a "computer glitch" and some of the scheduled deliveries for that day had magically disappeared off their computer. Again, not impressed, but the associate assured me that there was an opening on Saturday the 13th(#3) and he could give that appointment to me. Again, Saturday came and went and no delivery. By that time, I had no faith in this company, so I cancelled my order, and bought the same machine from a different company. I was assured that I would get a refund within 3-5 business days. When that time frame came and went, I was beyond frustrated, I wanted my money back, only to find out that I needed to go to the local store personally to get my refund. So this afternoon, off I go to my local Home Depot store where the poor associate spent an hour on the phone trying to get me my refund. Again to no avail, apparently the delivery company has the first washing machine sitting in a warehouse somewhere and the order never got cancelled. So I go back home and later this evening, I check my store order online under "my orders" and to my surprise the order states that the washing machine was delivered on the 8th. This is blatantly untrue, and I am so done with having to deal with this nonsense. I just want my money back and if Home Depot continues to use this delivery company, I will never buy another appliance from them for as long as I live, nor will any of my friends or family as I have explained in excruciating detail to them this unbelievable tale.

I have had the absolute displeasure of trying to get a washer/dryer delivered via Temco today. The first attempt didn’t work because I mismeasured the space. Temco scheduled a 2nd delivery, and after not getting any info about the delivery timeframe, I called and was informed that I was not on the schedule for that day (June 14th). So, I rescheduled for June 18th between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM. At 1 PM I hadn’t received any further info, so I called them & Home Depot. I was informed that actually my delivery time is between 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM. At this point, I’m confused and upset. I later got a call from the delivery guys at 1:29 pm saying they would be at the rental in 30-45 mins. At 1:45 pm my tenant called to inform me that the delivery guys arrived (that’s 15 mins, not 30-45 mins). I live 10 mins away so I had to drive like a bat out of hell to get to the rental. I called in transmit to let them know I was 5 mins away and I was informed that they’re leaving. I totally lost it! Why give a 30 to 45 mins timeframe when it’s an absolute lie? Upon arriving at the rental, the delivery guys were condescending that I didn’t have the space open and ready for delivery, and advised me they were leaving! So, things deteriorated from there, I was absolutely appalled at the unprofessional, poor communication, and misogynistic experience. Home Depot is great, but their contract with this 3rd party for delivery is a reputation killer. I certainly will NOT be shopping for appliances at Home Depot again if this is the delivery service/experience that I have to contend with.

Temco Logistics is neither profession nor courteous. They are arrogant and ignorant in a way reserved for only the most reprehensible idiots. I will never shop at Home Depot again as long as they do deliveries through Temco logistics.

Home Depot Delivery

I was informed that my Cub Cadet would arrive on Aug 19 2021 by Voicemail, this did not happen . I called and they assured me that it would be delivered today, this also did not happen and no one ever called or emailed . I called and they said it may be arriving on Monday but not sure. I spent over 45 miners on each call asking about this for 2 days. This item can not be left on the porch it is a Cub Cadet riding Mower. So I wasted two days waiting and changing my time to make sure I would be at home. This was guaranteed both days. It is not that it was not delivered it was that no one took the time to inform me that it would not be arriving.
This item has been paid for and I still want it but my time is as valuable as is yours. Thank you.

Hey Marine...
Maybe a dose of what they serve is in order; perhaps a small claims action would get their attention as they purposely toss the customer a glad smile when they're taking your money but could care less with their ten dollar an hour customer service employees handling your issues. Slam the manager at the store with a summons and let the judge vent the courts anger at having to deal with them; Semper Fi !

Home Depot Water heater installation

Home Depot in Elk Grove village uses DRF plumbing to install their water heaters. When they installed my water heater the plumber removed a pipe and did not reinstall it. Because he didn't reinstall the pipe water leaked on my floor and ruined my drywall. The plumber stated it was outside the scope of his employment to reinstall a pipe he removed. Now my drywall has mold and is ruined they offered me $75 for a repair that will cost $1200 to remove mold and $800 to install new drywall and paint it. At the store Home Depot said they would file a claim with their insurance and it would cover the costs if DRF did not fix it. Neither one is doing anything to fix the problem.

Home Depot weatherable vilano white railing and stair railing kit

I ordered this product from the Home Depot in Hendersonville TN, when the packages arrived I could see that the boxes were beaten up.
the parts inside (the white vinyl railing) had marks and black scuffs, one railing even had a scratch that was about 15 inches long.
one of the stair railing kits was missing the mounting bracket and the cover that goes over the mounting bracket. over the last week I have called the Home Depot customer service and had been told one time that there was nobody at the manufacturer for them to address the issue. told another time that the manufacturer was send the missing parts and should arrive in 24 to 48 hours, called yet again a week later and still have not received the missing parts.
the Home Depot customer service employees have all been polite and respectful but not competent.
I can understand the Home Depot cannot control their venders but they certainly need to train the staff to resolve issues for customers and perhaps consider not selling merchandise from venders that have a bad product and will cause them to lose customers.
I have both Ace and Lowes near and do not plan to shop with Home Depot again.

Right On ! DO what you have to do.. but don't take any more of their guff. The Customer Service Dept. in Home Depot is terribly incompetent. They glad hand you when taking your money but anything under warranty is pushed off to another company as their way of shedding responsibility. What we need to do is start handing them Small Claims Court Summons; and pull their sorry excuses before a judge and give them a dose of paying the customer for the grief they have created. Fair play is Fair Play !
I now go to any other store BUT Home Depot for anything significant. Home Depot has a serious problem and it's getting worse by the hour.

Home Depot Excessive charges for penalty and interests on the card

I purchased a fridge at Home Depot, in Pittsburg, KS, on August 15th 2020. The service was good, the product is good, we are happy with everything except the Home Depot partnership with Citibank!
I applied for their credit card because of a promotion they had at the time. It was a zero interest promotion, for one year. The loan period came due when I was hospitalized. One week after being released, I received a notice from Citibank that my $599 balance was now $726.40. I should have known better. There's a long history with Citibank doing this sort of thing and worse!
I am extremely disappointed that Home Depot would choose to partner with a company like Citibank. I guess they feel insulated from the business tactics of Citibank? I refuse to do business with either Citibank or Home Depot!

Desired outcome: I just want people to be aware of who they are dealing with.

Dear Sir/Madam on Sunday, August 1, 2021, I went to Home Depot to buy some white stones for my garden. On arrival, I said to the cashier whose name is Taylor why there was such a big difference in the price between Home Depot and Lowes and it was the exact stone, she replied we are not Lowes I said to her that's kind of rude she repeated it again and so I asked for a manager. The manager came and I told him about the price difference and he checked and said he would honor Lowes's price, I asked him if the cashier did not know about the price match and I told him what she had said to me.

I went back to the cashier to pay for the stones and I said to her didn't you know about the price match, she said did, I said your reply was so rude I said I am going to file a complaint with the head office and she told me to go right ahead, I said to her you young people don't know anything about customer service, she was so rude that I decided not to continue with the conversation. It took me a while to write this complaint because I do not want her to lose her job but she needs training. She works in the garden center.

Home Depot Husky garage cabinets return... Bought 11@ $500 a piece case#25959825

I spent close to $5000 on cabinets that I thought were going to be good quality. When delivery arrived they shoved a fork lift thru one of the boxes. I said I didnt want that one its damaged. Delivery person said he didnt think it was damaged and I had to take it and that I could call home depot and they would resolve it. Each cabinet took me 4 hours to put together... I am 62 yrs old and have arthritis in my hands so it was painful to say the least. Additionally it has been over 100 here while I was doing all of this!
Got to the last cabinet unpacked the box... Put it together and the doors wouldnt shut. Come to find out one of the doors was made incorrectly.
Called home depot customer service was told both cabinets would have to go back. I complained and said cant you just take one back (damaged) and send me a replacement door for the other one? Home depot said no... Both cabinets have to come back and we will send someone to pick them up. I was upset because that meant another 8 hours of construction time on top of what I had already done. Called back and spoke to a 2nd customer service person who stated that yes we can have husky just ship you a door.. Let me connect you to them. The 1st call took 40 minutes... This call took over an hour. I had to take the doors off lay them side by side and take pictures.. Upload them to email them to husky rep. He will then send pictures to husky... Approx. 5 days... Then check to see if in stock and if in stock will ship... Another 7 - 10 days. I asked why cant you just call the manufacturer.. See if in stock and authorize them to ship now? You have the pics? At which point my head exploded and I demanded to talk to a supervisor. But I was told I would have to wait for the supervisor to call me back... I asked when? Within an hour, 2 hours, 8 hours or a day a week? I was told there was no requirement of time for the supervisor to respond back to me. What? In the meantime went online to order replacement cabinets and was told I would have to pay $150 delivery fee! So all together I have wasted an entire day on trying to get this corrected. Seriously... I spend alot of money with you guys... My husband and I remodel homes... I was in customer service my entire career and would never have treated a big spending loyal customer like this ever!
I expected home depot to pick up the old damaged cabinet, deliver a new cabinet and a new door for the manufacturers defective door, credit me and apologize for all of the wasted time and aggravation. Instead I am having to wait for supervisors to call me back, wait to hear if replacement parts are in stock call back to order replacement cabinets and oh ya fight to get the new cabinets delivered for no charge.
I get the impression that big spenders should spend thier money and loyalty elsewhere which is what our company will be doing from here on

Obtw I did all of this for my husband... Ex air force... So he would have more room in the garage to work out... He is a transplant patient and cant go to the gym due to covid. Home depot didnt give military discount for online purchase. This was supposed to be completed by now but because of home depots lack of urgency it appears this wont be finished for weeks! All I can say is wow super crappy customer service... For $500 a piece there should be quality control prior to shipping them out... And yes the cabinets themselves are not as nice a quality as I would have expected for the price.

Desired outcome: Deliver new door, new cabinet, no add charge and $500 credit for military discount

Right On Air Force; this is Navy Talking. A proposal you might find helpful; all customer service people for Home Depot are 10 dollar an hour robots. They are trained monkey's told to patronize the customer and never put anything in writing. Bottom line, speak softly but carry a big stick ! In short, ask once and don't put yourself out; always make them do their job by taking responsibility. Don't be afraid to say no and have the where-with-all to follow up with a time line to either get it done with no drama or tell it to the Small Claims Judge; slapping them with a summons usually gets your money returned and you can go to better places and have fewer headaches.. Home Depot new windows

we reviewed the windows for our home with the rep. and paid $12599.00 toward the windows and installation. Now that was in April 2021, and so far no windows nor any follow-up. They have scheduled and rescheduled some 4-5 times, and one has called nor followed on the reason or whatever is the problem.
We finally have had enough and called and canceled the order. Their response was there would be a 25% restocking charge to the order.
Now the rep. lied and just told us a real story.
So now on to the next step and see how far they want to push this.

Home Depot Home service- Duct cleaning team

Here is the story: We had duct cleaning service with Home Depot yesterday. Everything went well, until the technician finished the job and left, I realised the thermostat was off(blank screen). I called the technician, immediately he replied "I didn't touch your thermostat, it has nothing to do with my service!" I had no intention to blame anyone, I just wanted to resolved the problem! Next, we tried all the steps including to turn on/off furnace switch, on/off all breakers. In this stage I assumed that the thermostat has issues related to the furnace, because the furnace was not running as well. I called again the customer service number which I booked the service in first place, No one was willing to help! No apologies! They insisted the thermostat issue has nothing to do with Furnace, and of course they are not responsible for helping me out to fix the problem. I asked if Home depot could send a technician to take a look on the problem, maybe it was a small problem, but I was not able to find the cause. She said they will charge me $99 to send someone! She said "How's not fair if we didn't do anything with your thermostate?!" Are those people really qualified to work for a reputation company like Home Depot? In the end I have to call a friend who knows a little bit about electricity, he drove an hour to my house and resolve the issue that was caused by Home Depot home service people. The problem was the furnace was not closed properly, caused furnace not running, and of course the thermostat was off.
Obviously, I was upset at this point: 1. I was told that the thermostat issue has nothing to do with furnace cleaning, because the technician didn't touch the thermostat (It's not on because the furnace was off, because the person who cleaned the furnace didn't close it properly) 2. They told me they will send a technician to check out the issue only if I agree to pay $99 fee. This is INSANE! The customer service staff attitude was rude considered that they were talking to a frustrated customer. Why the hell should I pay for anything that the problem was caused by someone who provided the service that I have already paid.
With this being said, I'm writing this letter to share my frustrating experience and terrible customer service that I received from Home Depot. Also I have noticed the bill was paid to Steam dry Vancouver, assumed they are private company hire by Home Depot, which explains why those people are not professional.

Home Depot Home Depot Policy

It is idiotic to require face masks again inside your stores. Do you not use scientific research. 70% of people now have shots. 99% of people without shots are the ones getting COVID. If they don't want to get shots then they are at risk. That is their choice. Since when do you think you are the police?
I hope this back fires on you. I am sick and tired of those like you taking away my freedoms, which I served my country in USMC to protect those freedoms for you and now you are trying to limit those freedoms. Shame on you!

Home Depot Online inventory system

Drove 15 miles twice for plywood which was listed online as being in stock. Both times nothing was in stock. Contacted store manager to suggest they update their system. Two additional times after inventory indicated the plywood was in stock I purchased online for pickup. Both times after several hours my money was refunded. Wrote an email to HD complaint dept. again suggesting an online inventory review. To date, no response.

Home Depot Customer Service

I purchased a $1600 washer/dryer system in May 2021. The cost included that it be set up and connected so that when the delivery left, it would be working. They arrived and did not want to connect. They said it had to do with the cover where the hose goes, but would not allow us to remove it so they could do the rest. I contacted Home Depot and was told they would give me a refund. I learned today that I have to come in the store to pick up my refund check (which is about 30 miles from my residence) and that a check could not be mailed because I used a debit card. Gina, service desk clerk, called to ask me for my driver's license # and I told her I will not give that out over the phone. I asked to speak with the manager and she said she is the manager. I then asked to speak with her supervisor and I spoke with Cam, the Assistant manager. I found out that Gina is a service desk lead - not the store manager, as she led me to believe. Cam explained why they needed my id and I politely told him to mail me a gift card. I refuse to return to this store since the service has been and is always sub-par.

Advertising a product that is not available for sale. Store shows item for sale on display for months and not available for sale because item is clearance item and not carried any longer Stock of inventory was incorrect, store showed zero items in stock yet there was two hanging on display. Employee in charge of Electrical advised us to return the next day...

Home Depot Delivery of toilets

I ordered two Penguin Overflow Protection toilets. One was fine and I was able to install it. However, the second one was broken in the box when I opened it. I returned the broken toilet and ordered the same toilet again. That one was delivered on a sunny, dry day. When I picked it up the bottom of the box opened up and the toilet fell out and broke. I returned the second toilet and ordered a third one. That one was delivered and when I opened up the box again, the third toilet was broken. I was reimbursed all three times for the broken toilets. I don't have a complaint against employees of Home Depot. They are good people who have a good sense of customer service. My complaint has to do with the quality of the product and especially the delivery service that they use. If I am going to rate Home Depot I would give it one star for products. I am going to Lowe's to get a toilet.

Home Depot Lumber and concrete

I shopped at Home Depot in Elko Nv. On 2955 Mountain City Hwy . I bout fencing materials which was dog ear picket fence, 4x4 post 2x4, 60 lb Sakarya concrete, screws, hardware. Which total to $ 1182.15 + tax
I'm a Veteran and ask for my 10% discount and was told they didn't give discounts on lumber and concrete.I live in So.Ca. and buy down there all the time and have never had a problem with my veteran discount.

Home Depot Delivery & installation /washer & dryer

I ordered a washer & dryer from Home Depot in June. I had to wait over a month & a half for delivery and installation. First of all, delivery team was 2 hours later arriving than the 4 hour time span stated to me. Second, they immediately told me they couldn't connect the dryer, "wrong cord." "New style now" according to one, but another said, "I've NEVER seen one like this!" Next, I paid for install but they never even tried to connect dryer vent hose. Moving on to the washer, they first tried to say water lines not long enough, could set my washer "sideways, " then connected them twisted at first, (water running everywhere), then supposedly straightened but "you've got a leak!" from the hot water line. One said to another, "you over tightened it, you need to loosen it to get some pressure off ." What happens? The guy turns it tighter! He finally just turns the hot water off due to the leaking. Next I'm told that there isn't a discharge hose with the washer I bought. I said there has to be and they insisted that no, there wasn't with my model . I told them that sometimes they were put inside the washer tub. Yep, there it was….they acted surprised! They repeatedly asked me for pliers and I did not have my toolbox with me that day. "They said, " YOU don't have any pliers? " in disbelief! After that, they want be to sign that I'm satisfied with my delivery & no damage done - I refused & a female started yelling to the males, " MOVE THIS WASHER & DRYER OUT, she doesn't wanna sign!" During this time she's also snapping multiple pictures of inside of my laundry room. 2 males return inside and one of them starts snapping pictures & I said, "That's enough! How many pictures of my house do you need?" The guy informs me that those were the FIRST pictures taken & I said otherwise. He then wanted to know who else took pictures & I informed him. He proceeds to tell me I HAVE to sign and I said "No I don't." He then showed me a place before my signature where I could write my dissatisfactions and when I started doing just that, he grabbed it from me and told me that I HAD TO SIGN! The female is yelling, "if she don't, we're taking the washer & dryer out!" I said to go ahead & remove them! The guy replied "NO I'M NOT!" He shoved his cellphone in front of me for a signature again and all THREE of them surrounded me in a threatening and intimidating way. I am a small petite woman, all of them much bigger & I just wanted them out of my house. I told them I would call Home Depot myself. They left with one guy & the female arguing, he was telling her she couldn't be taking pictures. It didn't stop her from standing in front of my house & snapping another one.

This is the worst experience I've EVER had with any delivery and I'm up there in age! They clearly were very ill prepared (no tools, lack of knowledge) and acted as if they really just didn't care….after all, it was on a Friday after 6P & they had 6 more deliveries! The icing on the cake though was making a customer feel unsafe in her own home cause basically, they were gonna get a signature stating that I was satisfied with the delivery one way or another! My daughter-in-law was upstairs and later told me, she could hear everything & was getting ready to call the police!

They left my property & I was left with a NEW leaky faucet, a tear in new flooring, paint scratched off freshly painted door, and no dryer hookup.
