Made purchase of complete bathroom tub and surround. Pick it up it was defect. Purchase was returned but was not in stock to reorder in time for installation with construction crew. Was to receive a $50.00 for opening a Home Depot credit card. Made another purchase of a microwave which was put on the Home Depot credit card. Received item assuming that the $50.00 credit would be applied for the opening of the credit card. But it was not. There was nothing said that it only applied if the item was not or returned because of it being purchased first. You should not advertise you will receive a 50.00 credit or any other amount for opening your cards when you do not stand behind the offer or you should check your merchandise to find what is defective or not before selling it to your customers. Your customer service representative leaves a lot to be desired when trying to get them to understand the issue. I would Like to have my 50.00 credit to my charge. I do believe there is someone higher up who can resolve the problem in your organization. Please get back to me. Thank you.
