Hostess zingers
I have noticed lately that the the last six boxes of the cakes where the individual pieces of cake wasn't sealed on one end and they are dried out. On one occasion I bought a box and one of the cakes had a big black blotch of something on the side of the cake, not the packaging but the cake it self. I don't have a particular date for this cause I kept figuring that it was a manufacturing problem that would be resolved through quality assurance inspectors.
Desired outcome: Check packaging machines and quality of ingredients used in the process.
Burnt product
Purchased zingers and received a box with burnt ones. Purchased today at my local Walmart market at 500 south blosser santa maria,ca 93458

Raspberry Zingers 10individually wrapped cakes
I purchased a box of 10 raspberry zingers at my local Wal-Mart in Champaign, IL about a week ago, purchase price of 3.48, when I opened them to have one of my favorite cakes, I was very disappointed to find that the bottoms of the cakes were burnt! How could these have passed quality control. They tasted burned too... the bar code on the box is [protected].
Desired outcome: I would like quality control to check the cakes better and a coupon for free box of zingers, but how will I know that that box won't be burnt also.
Hostess brand vanilla zingers 3 pack
I just purchased a three pack of vanilla zingers. The first one was good. Bit into the second one and found what I think may be bits of black plastic. I just bought them about two hours ago. The date says best by sept 25 2022. J [protected]:47 H.

on about the 8th of august, four days ago, I bought a box of 10 rasberry zingers and 4 of the ten were not sealed in the celophane. They were dried out and stale. We normally love this product and would like to purchase more in the future. Please look into this issue so we can continue enjoying Hostess. Hostess donettes
I bought 3 bags on Hostess Donettes from West Bend, Wisconsin Walmart. All 3 bags had like small hard chunks of unmixed batter on 1 out of 2 donettes. Not sure if there was a bad batch? If that’s going to happen, I will stop buying your products. I also purchased a bag of the same donettes from the Menards in the same city with the same result…
Desired outcome: Mix all your batter thoroughly, so there’s no hard chunks in them.
Outdated baked goods
I bought a box of Hostess vanilla iced Zingers & when I took a bite I was so dry & nasty even the cream filling was like a dry powder & crumbly. I grew up on Hostess fruit pies and Twinkies, & never had a complaint until now & I'm 53 yrs old. All I'm asking for is a coupon or two for reimbursement. Hostess Ding Dongs
Just bought a box of Ding Dongs and less than half actually had cream filling, the rest were just little cakes. So disappointing. Used to be one of my favorite treats growing up. This stupid thing keeps saying that my complaint is too short and probably won’t be resolved every time I post it so I’m just going to keep typing for a second. I don’t want anything. I will probably never buy ding dongs again. I guess I just want you to do better.

Hostess Donut, chocolate frosted, 6 pack
I purchased Hostess Frosted Donuts at Walmart in Jackson, OH, 30 minutes ago (8/1/22 at 12:15 PM). I was eating salt and vinegar potato chips with them so when I ate the first donut, I thought maybe it was the interaction of flavors. But the second one tasted the same. I asked a coworker to smell them and she said that it smelled like a "chemical." The taste is still lingering in my mouth 30 minutes later. My tongue is now tingling and slightly burning.
Best by date is Aug 14, 2022.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and medical bills paid if this should turn into a medical issue.
Chocolate donuts
Incident happened in Pueblo Colorado m&m food store on 29th Street, I bought a bag of chocolate donuts for my children. As my son was eating his donut he said it was gross his dad walked over grabbed a donut out of the bag ate it and it was so disgusting he started spitting it out everywhere. So I walked over and asked what was wrong and he handed me a donut which smelled of chemicals so bad it was disgusting it smelled like propane or gas or some very harsh chemical . And the donuts that my son ate made him sick I had to contact his doctor and we had to flush out his system. I took the donuts back to the store made the owner aware immediately after the incident happened, I called the health department and hostess in hopes no one else bought donuts that smelled and tasted as bad as ours and gave them to their children. Or ate them themselves.
Desired outcome: I appreciate a response and apology I just want an explanation of why they smell like chemicals and made my son sick. And I want somebody to figure out why they were like that to begin with.
Hostess Zingers
This is the second box we have purchased that the zingers wrappers are open and it appears there may be a machine malfunction. Some zingers were tried to be sealed in the ends, others have partial zingers, some are smooshed within the package, etc. They are inedible
We purchased them at Kroger in Burton MI in July 2022. The first box had several Zingers that wrappers were unsealed and/or smooshed. (Not all of them - it was not a shipping issue. )
I have attached pictures of second box - none were edible. I have not opened the third and last box we have purchased

I wanted to let you know that I was at Walmart today and I bought a package of your hostess donuts the 10.75 ounces chocolate frosted mini donuts. I was totally intending to enjoy them with a cup of coffee. I opened up the package, took a donut popped up my mouth. It tasted like glue and plastic. It was horrible! I spit it out. I dug deeper to the bottom of the bag and tried another one. I took a little tiny bite the bite was OK. The following bite was terrible.

Red White and Blue Twinkies
One of the Twinkies from the box I bought tastes like freaking chemicals! My son first bit into it and nearly threw up, so I tried it to see if he was crazy, he was not, I almost puked. I am just concerned that maybe we consumed poison. One other twinkie was consumed before the poisonous one and tasted fine. Please advise if there has been a recall on these Twinkies. Can we eat the remainder of the Twinkies? I have saved the Twinkie if you want to send it to the lab to run a test on it.
Seriously there was a very foul smell and taste to the Twinkie

Hostess mini muffins blueberry
These mini muffins I bought were stale and dry. The box was unopened and pouches were unopened till I opened them. I can find no best if used by date on box. code on box [protected] 4. I bought these muffins at Dollar General address Dollar General, 801 e. 2nd st., DeWitt, Arkansas, 72042. I did not get a receipt But will demand one from now on.
Desired outcome: A coupon (paper} as I cannot use electronic coupons, to try to purchase these muffins that are edible. I? doubt you will respond and if you bother I can only receive text message on my phone [protected] or email [protected]@gmail.com.
Frosted donettes on the go
I purchased a box of donnetts to go from Giant store #2317 in Maryland on 7/20/2022. It was suppose to contain 8 packs of 3 donuts each. When I opened the box it contained 2 packs of 3 donuts and 3 honey buns. There were 6 packs of donuts missing and should have not been any honey buns. This is the first time that this has happpened to me. Upon reading the box it says to submit any complaints here, so I am attempting to resolve it here. See pictures attached.

My wife purchased a box of HoHos from PriceChopper at 4820 N Oak, KC, Mo on Saturday the 16th of July. Opened them this morning and there were only 8 in a box marked 10.
Desired outcome: Refund and quit ripping people off.
