People H&R Block is not the same as it was years ago! They no longer give u the money early...they have to wait til IRS pays them they pay u! And they have raised their prices over the years...it is no longer reasonable to go to them for simple forms or if u only have dependents! I paid 315 for them to do 1040 wit 3 dependents which any1 could have done themselves. Every city or community has help for those who can not. THIS YEAR IT IS TAKING WAY LONGER DUE TO IRS CHANGES! BOUT 2-3 WEEKS EFILE on Emerald card! IM CURRENTLY ON MY 16TH DAY before the weekend now...IRS says FEB 3rd! FILED AT HR BLOCK ON JAN 13th! HR block will not disclose this with u so b prepared to wait longer than normal!$315 for less than a hours time is ridiculous and ur not receiving the money any earlier than if u efile urself! Turbo Tax is the way to go...notice how HR Block now have the home edition cuz they know their offices will b closing! DO NOT USE HR BLOCK customer for many years and im fed up! TOO EXPENSIVE FOR NOTHING!

tax
Thank goodness, I'm not the only one, going through this. I applied to H & R they called me and told me to take the online assessment test. I have been doing tax's for about 15 years including my owe corp tax's, never have I had a problem. I took the test and scored 75% (didn't pass) then they told me I could pay to take the class. You can't even tell where you are wrong or right on the test you have no idea how many question you got right or wrong! I really don't know if I really failed. I am very disappointed in H & R Block. seem as though they are just getting people to pay to take the class. Great income for H & R Block at $140.00 per person. I went to liberty tax where the classes are free to those who are looking for employment with them. After you take there class they test you and then if you pass hire you. So If a company wants to charge you for training DON'T DO IT!
learn how to spell fool
Was it a computerized test or paper?
As for the $140 charge, H&R Block has had a problem with other tax companies
sending their potential employees to Block for training. Some stores charge more, some
less, but this is not a big revenue stream for Block. It is mainly there to keep out the
competition.
Did you take a test with Liberty? Did you pass?
fraud
I went into an office of H&R block hoping to get my advanced loan. I was told $500 was
supposed to be put on my new card. Well as I go to swipe my card to buy my children's
gifts; the new card was declined! I call the card company. The
company says that I have a negative balance of $1, 781.00! The
representative says I have two active cards issued to me! I was told
purchases were being made on an expired card! So now my
children won't be opening anything up for Christmas. I am trying to do what I can
to dispute this matter. I, too am done with H&R block.

The last two years I have used the Emerald card and it was the worse experience ever, even the IRS agreed with me. The IRS said hey we put it in two weeks ago this is bad ! Emarld card is a disaster ! Kim Walker
Take it to court, and Don`t pay Jack until matter is settled.
emerald card services
When calling the 800# on the back of the emerald card, the customer service representatives were absolutely horrible. They don’t know what they are doing. I was on the phone for over and 2 hr spoke to 7 different reps and none of them where of any help. They constantly keep having me repeat myself. They need better listening skills. I was so irate on how unexperienced a person can be. I even spoke to a supervisor who supposably was going to assist me, told me he was going to transfer me to the help desk which will help me resolve my problem and when he transferred me I wouldn’t have to repeat any of my information and when I was transferred I had to validate everything again, not only that, the rep that I got was very rude and argumentative with me. I finally had to disconnect with that representative. I called back AGAIN and no one could tell me where to submit a complaint. Are you serious, obviously I’m not the only dissatisfied customer. THEY ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES EVER! I WILL NO LONGER BANK WITH H&R BLOCK.
I agree totally the customer service is horrible!
also, if u got a loan on your taxes, and want to reborrow as it states on the site,
"The Emerald Advance® is a year-round line of credit that provides the ability to repeatedly borrow and repay money, up to a maximum amount determined by the bank. Use it year-round for emergencies, car repairs, bills and other short-term credit needs. Only borrow the specific amount you need"
Flat out lie, only if u having a savings account with them, so like using your own money, then paying interest... stupid!
FYI, when h and r block tells you that u have to pay it back in full by a certain date, u really don't have to, u can make payments each month.
bad service
They delay the closing by 2 full years. The house was incomplete with incorrect dimensions to accommodate the fridge and Washer/Dryer.
rude behavior
A group of Ladies from H&R block Visited Our lovely state of Louisiana for a confrence right here in New Orleans. They stayed for a few days to enjoy our warehouse district next to the convention center. The warehouse district is known for its many fine dining establishments some have been open for more than 20 years. In the warehouse district you can enjoy a peacefull part of town with authentic New Orleans cuisine not to mention the best service from servers who have been working at these establishments and building these restaurants since their birth. We had the Unfortunate luck of getting groups of these ladies from H&R block who visited our establishments to bring thier lack of professional behavior in our public fine dining restaurants. Rude behavior, Bullying Yelling and harassment to servers was some of the behavior displayed by these ladies. Disturbing other guests around them was something they were also oblivious to as most people here are courteous and mindefull about others dining experiences. Perhaps they all being together thought that it would be some camaraderie building experience to all act rude and obnoxious in a town that was far from home. To top it off These ladies were very demanding drinking far beyond there limit then only tipping TEN percent on large tabs. I am speaking on behalf of many servers and bartenders from Seven other establishments who asked how can we bring this to someones attention. We as servers and bartenders are ladies and gentlemen working to serve other ladies and gentlemen just like the ladies at H&R block serve when they do a very neccesary job like taxes. We however in the service industry do not go to H&R block and bully act rude or choose to pay HALF of what THEIR services charge. It is behavior unbecoming of a group of traveling representing their company name. I and 12 other servers will be bringing this to others attention and we will not be choosing H&R block this or any other year. Nor will we recomend this company.
If you girlfriend boyfriend dynamic Duo ilikeit39 and stopthebs ever in your life own your own establishment, come talk shop with me otherwise leave the real issues to the adults. No one cares what you think of the city of New Orleans. That was not what my complaint was about. You boys just stay in school.
Go on public and social medi, I only hope you have a tape of this I would be putting it on every news feed I coul fine. Embrass them.
To generalize a group of woman you really should get your facts straight. Some, if fact most, of the ladies who atteneded this conference were wonderful to the staff. They were attentive and tipped very nicely. I find it appalling you would take the time to write such untruth. Your imagination would make the writers of disney envious of you. SHAME ON YOU!
You should be thankful these rude ladies come to your crap hole of a city to spend their money to give you trailer trash a job. New Orleans is the anus of the United States. Only ###s would live in a city below sea level then blame the honest hard working taxpayers in the rest of the USA for their dung hole of a city for flooding. If it was up to the rest of the country they would of just left the city and the mutant subhuman creatures that habitat that area fend for themselves. I say the the rest of the country should boycott your landfill city spend their money elsewhere.
stay away from these fraud
I filed an e-file return through H&R Block. H&R offered what they termed as "simple pay" to cover the cost of assisting in preparing the returns which would be deducted from the refund coming from the IRS. Once the return was accepted by the IRS, H&R Block gives access to a countdown clock showing you the exact time the IRS will issue the refund check. Here is what H&R Block doesnt tell you: Once H&R Block receives the money it could take up to 5 days for H&R Block to deduct the fee and send the balance to your account. Also, there is NO WAY to track this process! So if you file with them thinking it will be faster, DON'T! It's amazing to me that you can track your refund with the IRS but with H&R Block it's a guessing game. Imagine the amount of interest they make by hanging on to everyone's money to the very last minute. They have had my IRS refund now for 10 days so they could deduct $29.99. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
respa and tila violations
I purchased a condo in April 2006. Due to financial hardship resulting from disability and serious medical condition, I was placed on long-term disability leave. My disability is permanent and that my disability income had significantly reduced (net income = $3000 per month). I applied for loan modification pursuant to Home Affordable Modification Alternative - Principal Reduction Alternative (HAMP-PRA). I was well qualified for all requirements under the program and submitted all required documents to AHMSI. It was denied. No reason was provided to me in writing. My loan agreement originated from Option One, then AHMSI took over. Wells Fargo is my investor and named as trustee in pursuit of foreclosure. I made several attempts to communicate with Option One and AHMSI (letters and phone calls), from July 2010 through August 2011. My condo was purchased for $399k (80/20). Present market value as of 8/21/11 is $198k - $220k (520 sqft). I filed for Bk 13 in October 2010 and it was converted to Bk 7 in Jan 2011 due to significant reduction in my disability income. If AHMSI foreclosed on my condo, I would definitely pursue legal action against Option One/Wells Fargo Bank/HR Block/AHMSI acting as one entity for fraud (investing in the sub-prime mortgages), deceit, unjust enrichment and violations of TILA and RESPA. AHMSI had been notified of my disability and serious medical condition. They were also provided with all the documents necessary to approve my application for HAMP-PRA. Wells Fargo/AHMSI are not willing to help, regardless of willingness, ability to pay and qualifying for all requirements under HAMP-PRA. I am still waiting for their final course of action - foreclosure.

messed up our 2010 taxes
My husband and I has used H&R Block for the past 10 years (Married filing separate). When we filed our 2010 taxes, the guy went in my file and deleted my husband from my record filing me HOH submitted my paperwork. Then he filed my husband as Single – with me sitting right next to him submitted the paperwork. Now we have to pay back what we got in our return.
In the 10 years that we have used H&R Block we never had to review the paperwork before signing it because it has always been correct, but this year it’s a different story.
We will NEVER use H&R Block again --- I believe that this was a Malicious Act, why would someone go in and change the status from the same data that has been used for the last 10 years.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
To get HOH status you have to meet a requirement. You would only be paying back to the IRS if you failed to meet that requirement. Why in the world would you want MFS when it's the worst filing status unless you have to use it. You can ammend to MFJ. In most cases it's a much better option.
lost my tax records
In 2006 I sent my 2005 tax records to H&R Block Employee Gracy Pena 5110 Chester St los Angeles, Ca. 90032. for the next several months that turned into years I could not get my taxes filed by H&R Block. Gracy first said "my desk is so messy I cant find your paper work. then in July 2011 She claims that her car was stolen several years ago. What were my records doing in her car. I have emails over a six year period backing up what i have written. IRS now claims that I owe $60.000.00 THANKS H & R block
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Let me start off by saying I do not believe your story.
With that said, go to the IRS and request all the information they have on you going back
to 2005. Take that information to an Enrolled Agent in your city or a CPA along with
lets say $4000 and they should be able to straighten out the mess that you have
allowed to be created. Good Luck.
software glitch
Prepared Pennsylvania Income Tax Return using H&R Block At Home software, which I purchased at Best Buy. It made a big error, offsetting gains against losses. That is not allowed by Pennsylvania. When I got a bill from the State, including penalties, I called H&R Block. They did not acknowledge the error and demanded a lot of paper and computer files on CD's. All I wanted to do was to email them a copy of the file and have them correct the error. They are supposed to be high tech. Next year I will use anything other than H&R Block.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
After completing return and correcting the 2 errors the program found, I went to e-file and I was told I would have to correct 33 additional errors in order to e-file. Since I had already paid for the e-file service you would have thought the program would have told me I had additional corrections the first time through. I have been using computer tax preparation services since the 90's and have used H&R in the past but this was the worst. I am sure they have lost all their experienced programers and are using the least experienced and probably lowest paid this year.
This years HR Block software has gliches also, it isn't transferring data from last years taxes properly. Especially on AGI...so watch closely. Will go with Turbo Tax from now on!
tax return
On Feb. 15, 2011 I called a local office to make an appointment. I asked what I needed to bring with me, I was missing a form. I was assured that I could simply walk in, and they would obtain the info from Revenue Canada. I went to the little kiosk in Walmart and was told that he couldn't get the info because Revenue Canada was closed and I would have to come back the next day so he could call during business hours... Ummm it's tax season ### and you're telling me they aren't open? So it's useless to argue with him because all he says is they are closed. I go back first thing the next day and finally get my tax return completed. I had to pay them almost $100 to file simple taxes (I'm on disability, no children, and don't work). Today I call Revenue Canada to inquire about my quarterly sales tax cheque (as I'm low-income) and they tell me that they haven't even received my tax forms yet! Today is July 7! 5 months have gone by and they haven't even sent it in it! I call the idiots, and he tries to tell me it was sent it but they never got it. I tell him I don't care what he says Revenue Canada says it was never sent in so that's all that matters. I'm not getting any GST or HST payments because of this. I'm on a fixed income and I depend on those cheques to make ends meet. I will never use H&R Block again my life.
tax preparation
During month of March this year I approached H&R office in Calgary asking for professional help and indicating that my situation requires examination of my financial activities for last 3 to 4 years. I asked for somebody who will have preparation and time to dedicate to my case. I was assured that I will get the best service available.
On March 16 I got email:
Hello Richard:
I have booked you a appoint for Tuesday, March 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Office, address is 21 E, 3012 17th Avenue SE Calgary.
Cheryl Johnson
During this appointment I had opportunity to introduce my situation to Ms Johnson and I was asked to sign my consent for H&R Block to have access to my file at Revenue Canada.
Shortly after I was selected by my company to work in Brazil for a month and before my departure on April 4th I copy all my financial information and delivered personally to Ms. Johnson for examination.
After I got back to Canada, on May 14 and I tried to contact Ms. Johnson at her office. Despite of few left messages I had no call back, so on May 20th I went to the office to see Ms. Johnson personally, and after waiting for 15miutes I got answer that my case is not ready yet. I was told that everything will be finalized before the end of the month.
Until today, I have no answer, no information and no explanation from H&R Block.
It is not I wasted time only, I am also affected financially as in my situation I am paying penalties and interest on outstanding balance and for 60 days nothing have had happened.
I was told I will get the best service available, but after those few deceptions I have no more trust in your organization. I find it hard to believe I am the first one you guys treat this way, so protecting others I will be sure to share my experience with my friends.
With no better option I have to look for another accounting office which will treat me seriously. I expect Ms. Johnson to send back my memory stick with my financial information. Please send it in secure envelope and register letter to my home address.
Ryszard Kocielski
clearly thier fault but they will not help in any way
After given proof of new address and after filing for three different years, they submited the correct address on every year but the latest which was submitted with the wrong address causeing our only refund to be sent back to the IRS. In turn this causes us multiple forms to fill out and was told it could take up to 4 to 6 months to have everything go through. This in turn causes great hardship on my family since we were expecting and really needing to use this return to catch-up on bills and help with our sons initial college enrollment fees. Neither of which can be postponed for " 4 to 6 months". In this recession every penny has to be planed and set backs of a week, let alone "4 to 6 months" can be devastating to a family.
I've been with Block 17 years and while I sympathize with the above individual there are a few extra points of information to note.
1) It is the ultimate responsibility of the taxpayer to make sure their return is correct.
Never sign the final papers before reviewing everything including the name and address. Yes, this was careless by the preparer but I always make sure my monitor is turned toward the client so they can catch any typos and we always show the client their completed return onscreen which includes correct name and address.
2) It's not that Block wouldn't help you but that they are UNABLE to. Once the return is transmitted to the IRS it is totally out of our hands and we have no way to change what the IRS does.
peace of mind insurance
Yes I had Peace of mind Ins. on my taxes H&R Block did back in 2008 and i got a letter in the mail about 3 weeks after i recieved my return that year, saying i owed taxes of 1400 dollars and i took that letter to their office in Russellville Ar the next day and told them i needed to speak with the lady (Amanda Ragsdale ) who had done my tax and they told me...

We recently moved to Ohio for work and decided H & R Block could get our taxes done sooner than another place so we went for it. MAN what a mistake. We had to pay $245. just for the service with discount coupon, and then we were told we had to pay federal more than that. Thats not the bad part, we were advise we would recieve a refund from State of OHIO and state of Indiana, but owe a small amount to local school district. Okay now after filing deadline date in April we recieve a voicemail on a tuesday to stop by the office on friday to pickup paperwork because she had made changes. The new UN_REVISED paperwork showee we now owed a large amount to the state of Ohio and a larger amount from the original to the school district. We call and inquire the preparer says "OH I SCREWED UP THE FIRST TIME". Been nice to be told. So we get ahold of a Regional Manager and she requested the paperwork, both sets. After a couple days of looking over the paperwork my wife called her, (not her us) and she advised "IDONT KNOW WHAT SHE HAS DONE, ITS GOING TO TAKE ME A FEW DAYS TO FIGURE IT OUT". Now the good part and stupid onour part we are to have a meeting coming up friday with her, so my wife calls her and ask if she would bring ALL paperwork handed over to her (We didnt make copies, our mistake) she advised well "I SHREDDED THE THREE ENVELOPES YOU RECIEVED THE SECOND TIME", I believe this is against the law somehow. Shredding paperwork with other persons name, ssn, and tax info . One other thing is when I picked up the second paperwork there was a young w/m person who just got his taxes figured and got to the front desk asked for his reciept, and the preparer JERI advsed "OH SORRY I CAN"T GET ONE UP HERE " wrote out his reciept on a yellow sticky pad piece of paper. Sounds like another illegal move, and a good way to swindle funds from the till.
poor customer service
I'm a deployed Soldier stationed in Afghanistan for 15 months now. On 15 March I contacted H&R Block about doing my taxes for both 2009 and 2010 (I have a filing exemption for 2009 because I was in Afghanistan). It is now 17 April and I paid them $600.49 on 4 April to file my taxes. As of today, I have not any of my tax documents, I've received several emails from the tax preparer where he used profanity and still refuses to send me my tax documents. I sent the company proof of my EFT payment of 4 April. They chose to wait until 13 April to send me an email return stating they filed my taxes. They have sent me no documents showing what they filed, and they continue to refuse to send me my documents or my receipts. At one time they wrote I would receive $4, 500 back in Federal, then they filed for $1, 000.00 less (about $3, 500.00 based on what I was told on the phone).
I can say nothing but good things about this office. They were extremly helpful in my very difficult situation with my husband being deployed. Many thanks for all the extra help.
payment to taxes
Yesterday, I went to this business to get my taxes done. Yes they are in business to do taxes; however, it is illegal for them not to tell people upfront the cost of doing their taxes. You wouldn't want to buy a boat without knowing the cost or anything else. Why would doing a simple tax form cost some one who is disabled, on a limited income $300.00 for a measly $51 back? This is a scam and all tax agencies should have to have these cost out in the open. I luckily went and out my tax paperwork back before paying them anything. The most I ever paid for a tax return done was $50 which include several schedules.
That is what I am saying. The people they have working in these HR&Block Tax stores are not educated in tax information. After refusing to pay their fee ( which they stole my Mississisppi tax form that I brought with me), I came home and worked on my federal and state for two days, mulling over hundreds of inserts on where to put this and that, but finally got finished, the Saturday or Sunday before the 18th. I can't be sure that it is even right. I sent them a note and asked that they fix my mistakes and explained my situation. I just did my taxes in 2009 for 2008 before the tax deal with first time homebuyers came out. So I didn't take the credit at all.
The cost of a return has nothing to do with the amount of refund. It has to do with the schedules involved. There is a lot that goes on "behind the scenes" of a Tax Return with worksheets and schedules. That is what you are paying for. It's not about putting numbers in boxes on a computer program but knowing what data to enter where and making sure it gets pulled forward onto the return. It's like playing a guitar. It looks simple until you try it yourself. If you don't know what you are doing and don't understand Tax Law, what looks to you like simple entries really takes a lot of training to know how to do correctly. The Homebuyers Credit did require paperwork because of levels of fraud that were being committed. IRS requirement. Best way to run with it was to do a regular return. Then ammend with the Homebuyers Credit.
We had the same problem this year. We purchased our first house during 2010 and were eligible for the First Time Homebuyer's credit. I always file online every year jointly with my husband and planned to do that again this year (which costs us $50), but when I tried it it said that I had to mail in the form. I figured that since I had to mail it in and wasn't really up to date with what was needed for this tax credit, I would go to H&R Block to see if they could get us anything extra maybe.
When we got there, the person that did our taxes pulled EVERYTHING off the website. I was not aware that what I had started was saved online, but it was there and she pulled it all up. She literally asked us five questions about what was already in our taxes, printed it out, handed it to us and we were done. She said we needed copies of our drivers licenses and the house contract and a utility and water bill for the homeowners credit, but that their copier wouldn't copy legal size (and what sort of business would buy a copier that couldn't?) so we had to take it and mail it ourselves. The total? $270 for what took less than half an hour and she didn't even have to do anything! I feel that at the point where she had pulled up our information and realized it was all done we should have been INFORMED that it would cost almost $300 for ME having done all the work. But of course we weren't because if that had been the case then we would have left because I could've just done it myself for 1/6 the cost.
And the real kicker? It wasn't even done right! She specifically asked how we wanted the refund and we wanted both state AND federal back in direct deposit since it saves paper and is more convenient. We realized later when we got a check from the state that she only put federal as direct deposit. Plus, we did NOT have all the required paperwork to receive the first time homebuyer's credit. It's been almost two months since we filed our taxes and we received a letter from the IRS stating that we need to send them a copy of the HUD-1 form and that it'll take another month or two for the to process our taxes again! So it's costing us $270 to wait for three to four months to get our taxes! And she should have known what paperwork was required and we should have been informed so that there was no delay.
prepartion fee
Went to H & R Block for the first time this year. I received a phone call when my taxes were done and was informed the charge for preparing them would be $505.00! She also advised that I pay an additional $30 in case H & R Block made an error they would pay up to $5000. I do have a small business but it was not diffucult given the fact that I had a profit and loss statement and the last 2 years of prepared taxes for her to use. When I went to pick up my taxes and pay for the preparation I was automatically charged the $30 fee. I am just sick about the total I was charged especially since I have paid no more than $250 per tax year in the past. Not only do I owe (my business showed a loss) but 1st qtr taxes are coming up and I dont know how I am going to pay them due to this unexpected fee. My advice, make sure you know up front what they will charge to prepare your taxes.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Yes! This happened to us too! We had our taxes prepared by BLOCK (the chopping block) on friday and I'm still sick! (A) we were never told that it would cost $350 to file our taxes...he said let me ask you a few questions first...then after about 20 minutes, he gave us this ourtagous price...(B) we were lied to; when I tried to refuse to pay it, he said we had to because the taxes had already been filed! So he backed us into a corner and we ended up having to 'use their bank' to let them take their outragous fee out of our return...we are going to end up with $50 out of $400 hard-earned dollars. I hate to say it but they take advantage of poor/undereducated people, like ourselves, who just don't know any better. Now I know that it should never cost more than 10-15% of your income to have taxes prepared.
Molliewollie--even a schedule C isn't so complicated as to elicit something to the tune of $80 (I'm not even sure how much he charged us for that because he ran thru the cost for each form so quickly and we only got a reciept for the total, not each charge...if you went to the grocery store and bought milk, eggs, and bread, and the cashier charged you $350 and wouldn't tell you what each item cost, wouldn't you be infuriated?)
Somebody needs to start a class action against these unethical people...how is charging $80 for a form any different from usury?
H AND R BLOCK ARE A RIPOFF MY SISTER WENT THEIR AND THEY CHARED HER A BOAT LOAD OFF MONEY AND SHE WHOULD HAVE MADE 350 MORE DOING HER SELF
deceptive pricing
Well, I usually do my own taxes with the H&R Block software. This year I decided to let them do it. It was much simpler due to a year of unemployment, some stock gain, house payment and not much else. My mistake was thinking a tax expert could possibly know something to avoid paying too much since the IRS manual is huge. I figured $100; 1040A, and capital gains report. Their chart doesn't state that everything is an added fee. End result; I owed the IRS about $100 and H&R Block charged $240. Live and learn. Next year I go back to doing my own taxes and I NEVER use H&R Block software again. So if I live another 30 years they'll have lost more $ than they've gained in the end. Plus for the rest of my life I'll tell anyone never to use them since they are shady. My mistake but NEVER again. Like Charlie Sheen says: "Winning. Duh!" You lose H&R Block. My money goes to your competition until I die.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The problem here takeallmymoney, is that you figured $100.00 for 1040A. It sounds like you have 1040A, Schedule A, Schedule D.
You are not getting that return for $100, sorry Charlie!
I love how you say you will go to the competition till you die. Neither one does the training that Block does and yes they are just as expensive if not more expensive, but you go right ahead and give them a try.
Block will still be "Winning. DUH!" LOL!

$315 sounds about right to me.
Some people will recommend Turbo Tax or H&R Block at Home software or some
other on-line alternative. I can't recommend any of those options unless you have
either a very simple 1040-EZ return or you are well versed in the tax rules which now exceed 5.6 million words, and that is just the Federal part. I had a client that made some mistakes on her state returns and the penalties alone would have more than covered my fees for 5 years! She also owed interest on all amounts owed. She thought she knew what she was doing (Turbo Tax) but when her husband was audited she realized she had made the same mistakes.
My advice, ask for a Senior Tax Advisor or better yet an Enrolled Agent. Or ask for the new guy and he will take 1.5 to 2 hours and still charge you $315! Good Luck.
