hydra allegro and brio skin care - false advertising
People Beware! Shame on Facebook for even allowing this false advertising to be accepted. Like everyone else filing complaints, I purchased the Allegro product and Brio products for $3.95 - not knowing I was signing up for a monthly product delivery program - no documentation was supplied while ordering. I called to cancel after my bank called about a questionable charge of $103. Before the second charge of $109 hit my bank account, I called and cancelled both orders and requested a refund. They cancelled my order but instead of refunding me the original $103, they still processed the $109 charge. Now two weeks later I call again, this time they tell me they can only refund me 40% of the charges. My other option is to send back the products and they will refund me all but $20.
allegro anti aging, fruit exfoliate and eye cream
You offered a free trial for the cost of shipping and handling that came with no paperwork stating it was for 14 days and if you didn't cancel you would be charged for the original shipment and continue to get monthly shipments. This is predatory sales tactics and is fraud. I will be disputing all charges with my credit card and zi will be reporting you to the attorney generals in the states of Virginia and Utah.
hydra skin and brioskin all the same scam
Scam! Do not order. They advertise a free trial for allegro. I agreed when I signed up to pay the 6.99 shipment fee. They don't send trial size, but full size. Free trial, is delivered without any paperwork. Then a day later brio is delivered without paperwork. I assume since I did not reorder, I would not continue ordering. The following month they send both brioskin and hydra/allegro without customer consent and bill cc. Instead I noticed they billed me full price for both products for two months. I requested to return unused product, they said it was too late. I didn't return it after 30 days so got billed the entire cost without refund. Also said recent product could only be refunded for 50%. When asked to speak to supervisor they agreed to 75%. When I continued to press they finally agreed to 100% for last shipment, but will not refund the initial shipment. They said they will have to process this request through their legal dept and I should see a refund in 5-7 days.
They will not show me a copy of requested paperwork/agreement and said a supervisor will call me back.
Call your banks - stop your orders. This one smells of crookedness.
fraud!!! unethical behavior!
Do not order any of their products! They advertise a free trial if you only pay shipping. I received the product and was charged within 10 days. When you call to demand a refund, they will not provide it and act like they are giving in by giving you 40% of your money back. I have yet to even see that. They are unprofessional and an outright scam. Their products do not even work and do not come with packaging literature that explain how to return the product. I will go to great lengths to make sure I take at least one customer from them per day in order to save someone else $95.
I just ordered the neuro lit last night i was excited to see if it works but i couldn't find ANY testimonies of anyone trying it wich i thought was weird but as soon as i read these statments i immediately called the 24hr number to cancel it the dude said it was shipped today so i will be charged the $4.95 for shipping an handling but as soon as i get it call to cancel subscription i wont be charged not a dollar more even if bottle is half empty or completly empty so idk will see so did yall try it did it work at all?
Same thing happened to me. I was under the impression that I had 30 days for the trial to end. They charged me $95 within 2 weeks. No emails were sent to me after signing up for the trial with any details. I called them after noticing 3 separate charges on my account. Looks like they charge me twice for shipping, then the full amount. They refuse to answer my questions. I'm going to call back and keep trying to get some of my money back, this is a total scam.
I ordered this product and called to cancel. They insisted I had to return the "FREE/TRIAL" introductory pills and insisted I was told this beforehand. I argued vehemently with the representative. He told me I had to return the "free trial" pills or pay the full price for them. I am returning them. I was also offered the percentage off and was offered another 30 days to decide what to do. This is a scam, period.
Please read my comment
anti aging cream and night/day serum
This company is a fraud. They say you order and just pay shipping. They say nothing about there being a 10 day trial and I looked very closely at what I was agreeing to when I ordered.
I ordered the product and read carefully what I was agreeing to. I paid the shipping charge, received the product and tried it out. The product did nothing. I was just charged $212 so I called and inquired as to the reason for this charge. They said you get to try it for 10 days and then you have to ship it back or you'll be charged $212. And, if you do decide to ship it back, they charge a $30 restocking fee.
I got them to say they would refund 50% now and the rest when they receive the product back. I have not seen the refund go through yet however and I do not trust them. This company is a fraud and what they are doing is intentionally lying to their customers.
unauthorized credit card charges
I saw this ad on Facebook. I did go to start to order the product and even put in my credit information...however when all the other recommended products started popping up...I BACKED out of the ordering process and felt confident that since I DID NOT confirm the order nor receive an email of conformation I felt I would not be billed nor receive the product...
But I did receive Allegro anti aging cream and behold the next day I got two bottles of serum that I DID NOT order...
In the boxes were no instruction on use nor a return address. Just my address was on the box. I had to wait to receive my cc bill to see the charges for my FREE order. When I called the number on my cc statement I was told I would receive an email on how to return the unwanted products. Nothing was mentioned or written on the ad of a restocking charge, Noticed however a charge would be applied for shipping and restocking fees...over $25 for both ...
So for my FREE Trial order (no mention of how long that would be and how to stop the order) that I thought I had halted I will be seeing charges
NEVER NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON FACE BOOK...or from this company.

unauthorized shipment, unethical behavior
I ordered a trial size of Allegro and paid shipping for same. I received a product called Brio which I did not order but I was charged for shipping. I called and spoke with a Lance Johnson and he advised that your records indicate the Allegro was shipped, gave me a tracking # and suggested that I check with the post office. Upon doing so, they advised the package was left on my front porch on a date I was out of town. The package was not here when I arrived home. I paid to send the Brio back and today I spoke with Roy who advised you received it yesterday. I told him when I try to send a cancellation notice via email, it was returned to me stating it cannot be delivered. He told me that he can offer me a 40% discount on the product I ordered but did not receive. I refused stating that I do not want to pay for a product I never saw so I will place this in dispute with Visa. After reading other complaints on your company, it sounds like this is "business as usual" on your part. Shame on you!
allegro
Receiving product when I asked to be removed from the mailing list 2 months ago... At 80 yrs. Old really don't want or need such an expensive product... No satisfaction received when requesting to stop sending the product... Now what? Keep and use without paying? I found your lack of clear directions to how to avoid having to go through this procedure alarming. Taking advantage of the elderly does not sit well with this octogenarian and I find issue if we followed the directions to click on for a clique special and then this product was submitted in its place to be offensive to the human intelligence of the female population and for one I will not pay for a product I never ordered! Thank you for your prompt attention to this request to remove me from your mailing list... Judith nicoll
I have filled this out numerous times...do U folks really have a problem with accepting that which is already filed? Somebody better reprogram your work this is really prolonged and unacceptable to normal folks = H E L L O TO IMCOMPETENCE!
my updated and extended complaints have been duly posted...thank you
Need to receive definitive feed back of cancellation for my records from hydra skin sciences!
hopefully some action will be noted and I no longer receive the product...I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF THIS PRODUCT NOW OR IN THE FUTURE...
allegro anti-aging cream and brio night and day serum
Picture of Clinique product was posted on Facebook offering free samples for a shipment fee of 4.95. Received Allegro and Brio instead with no enclosure instruction of continuous subscription if you do not respond in so many days nor was it stated on Facebook posting and the information filled up. Now they are sending another shipment and unauthorized charging my credit card. I called and complained and they said they will reimburse only 50%. This is a very wrong advertising and marketing strategy...fooling people.
total fb scam beware!!! hydra skin sciences / allegro
I ordered the $4.95 sample only...Like everyone else on fb and this is a big scam!
we never authorized these charges..
My husband is a trained investigstor who immediately caught this first charge of $103. Followed by a charge of $109!
he called bank filed a dispute, and we spoke to an india man
who would not help with this matter!
we had to close our credit card! and they still continue to charge and harass us!
not happy!
they are not finished dealing with my husband! he wants to "find and sue them"!
and is getting law enforcement involved with this scam and credit card abuse not authorized!
unethical behavior as I thought this was just one free sample
I don't have the money to cover this expensive product which I thought was a free sample offered on Facebook May 24, 2017
I'm sending it back hoping for cancelation of charges to come. This is faulty advertising with a come on before posting the actual product to be sent to client.
I was given an extension due to longer time delivery of the product than quoted to me on Facebook.
I called when it hadn't arrived and was give an extension for returning the product if it didn't help my skin.
I can't pay for this product and I see no difference in my skin.
I am returning it today .
Sincerely,
Judy Espeseth
hydra skin sciences sample scam
I authorized a one-time charge of $3.95 for a sample of Brio Serum. Today I received a box containing 2 more bottles that I did NOT order. Checked my credit card statement and discovered an unauthorized charge for $115.94. My bank previously declined a suspicious attempted charge of $109.00. I immediately contacted my bank, canceled my credit card, and advised that the transaction is fraudulent. I called Hydra Skin Sciences and the representative insisted I signed up for a subscription. I assured him I did NOT and I would pursue this matter to the full extent of the law. He then pretended to speak with his supervisor and returned to line, offering me a 50% refund. I assured him that was NOT acceptable and I had already reported the fraudulent transaction to my bank. I also advised that I am attorney with a law enforcement agency and am versed in analyzing contracts/advertisements, but there was NO mention of a subscription in the offer to which I responded. He claimed that he was working in Palmdale, California (despite his heavy Indian accent), stated his name is "Wally Moore, " and finally agreed to issue a FULL refund which should appear on my credit card statement in 2-5 business days. I assured him that if the refund is not received, I will be contacting local law enforcement and the FBI. We'll see what happens.
I received a FULL REFUND from Hydra Skin Sciences! Proves that persistence -- and a threat to call law enforcement -- paid off. However, I did have to cancel my credit card and get a new one. Small inconvenience to be rid of these scammers.
allegro
I ordered a "free sample" for shipping and handling charges. I was sent not only a sample of Allegro but also of Brio and was charge 4.95 for each. Subsequently I was charged for 103.00 and 109.00 and they were showing up as recurring charges. When I called to cancel and complain I was told that since I did not call within 14 days of placing the order I was obliged to pay these charges. My credit card company says I can dispute the charges but I will lose as they have it set up in their terms and conditions that this is their policy. This is disceptive and should not be legal
unauthorized charge and product I did not order
I ordered a free sample of their skin care product. All I was required to pay was shipping and handling of $3.95. There was nothing on the free offer to suggest that I would be charged over $100.00 and that they were going to send me two more jars of their products. This is obviously a major scam, as there have been so many other women who have had the same experience with this company and their not free offer! I just called customer service and was given a "rma" number (Return merchandise authorization) and told that they would credit my charge card when they received the products back. I will not wait for that, but will call my credit card company and alert them that this is an unauthorized charge. Products received today 4/28/2017. Beware, do not order any "free samples" from hydra skin sciences!
shame on you
I also was charged $109 and $103 for the item that was suppose to be a sample for $3.95 mailing charge. I did NOT order the Brio but received it anyway. I called Chase and they are blocking this sham scam.
You all are a bunch of thieves taking advantage of women. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford these charges.
May you get what you deserve . . . karma is a great thing!
"free sample" is bogus
Same as everyone else here. I ordered the "free sample" through Facebook, and then quickly did a check and discovered it's a scam. I called and canceled, thinking that was the end of it. Then I got a shipment in the mail and a big fat $109 charge on my credit card. Their customer service guy said I only canceled ONE of the products, which is utter ####, I said Cancel EVERYTHING. And they didn't.
Today, I repeated that I wanted cancelation (replete with expletives) and got the 50% restocking fee down to a 70% credit and not having to return. But then I called my credit card company, CHASE, and they removed not only the $109, but a new charge of $115! And they blocked the company from ever charging me again.
Chase ROCKS. Not normally a fan of big banks, but this is the second time in a matter of months that Chase has saved my bacon from fraudsters (the other was a series of bogus charges through PayPal that Chase recognized as suspicious.)
BTW, Facebook should NOT allow this company to advertise.
allegro skin care
I ordered a free sample of Allegro cream at the beginning of April for which I was to pay only s&h of $4.95. Then I was charged for another sample I did not order or receive. Now I find I am being charged for a 'subscription' fee of $109 and $103 from 2 places affiliated with this company for products that I did NOT sign up for, order or receive. They are claiming that the initial offer of a free sample included a subscription? Why would I subscribe to buy something I had not even tried yet? When I called to complain and request that they refund 3 of the 4 charges they said they would not refund anything. Then they offered to reduce the price. Again I asked why would I want to pay even half of something I did not order or receive> I spoke with someone who called himself Jack Anderson. Then his name changed to Ianerson when I requested he confirm it. After I hung up the phone I did a little research on line and found that many consumers all over the country have been taken in by this same scam.
This is a total scam.
hydra cream and brio
I also was sucked in with this advertisement. They did not want to give me my full amount back of $103.00 and $109.00 which I did not authorize. I contacted a guy named Donald and then I guy named Nicholas. They both told me different resolutions they could or could not do. I am sending the crap back and waiting my full refund. They want to charge me a restocking fee. I used the product, how can they restock it? Nicholas was very rude! I asked for a supervisor and he said he was. Donald asked a supervisor what he could do and they said as soon as I sent it back they would refund full amount and a restocking fee of $10.00 and I needed to call them back with a tracking number.
charge for product not wanted and not received
My complaint is a carbon copy of the other ones below. Ordered what I thougth was a sample. Within ten days my credit card was charged for $103 and $109. I received absolutely NOTHING for those monies. Luckily a quick eyed bank rep noticed this and had me cancel my card before you could STEAL more money! You are nothing but a bunch of crooks and scam artists!
Contact Utah BBB, or attorney general, connect to police file complaint, contact where ever the sell product, same thing happened to me, they say Free Sample but charge you a restocking fee for your free
Sample and pay your own shipping. Oh contact FBI file complaint aloha
hydra skin sciences brio
I was sucked in just like everyone else on here did. I have instructed my credit card to not allow anymore charges from You and am disputing the charges you have made. You are a bunch of scamers. You have been reported to face book and anyone else that will listen to me. The first charge was for $115.00 and the next one not 10 days later was for 109. I did not order the second box of product and the first was only for $4.95. You will give me my money back.
