The Local Indane LPG aupplier is refusing to supply refills. My letter to the Area Manager -Tamil Nadu, LPG sales(Copy enclosed) has not beeen replied. I am undergoing lot of problems. Please do the need ful.- S.Doraiswamy

I bring to your kind notice the following, for favorable instructions to the concerned, so that my troubles for getting a LPG Refill for my house will come to an end.
I have a twin cylinder connection No 15005, from your LPG gas distributor with M/s Vaishnavi gas Agency, T.Nagar, Chennai. Till recently I had no trouble in getting refills of LPG.
One day, one of the delivery boys from the agency had come for inspection of the stoves and the rubber tubing. At that time my neighbor’s flat lady had left her empty HP gas cylinder in our house requesting that we take delivery of her HP Gas Refill ordered by her since she will be away out of town for a few days on an emergency call.
The delivery boy on seeing the HP LPG cylinder has written down on his check sheet that one HP cylinder is also there and asked my wife to sign, which my wife innocently signed.
Based on the above checklist Ms Vaishnavi Gas agency is refusing to issue refills to me and demanding to surrender the HP connection, (which is not mine) and show the HP connection surrender note. Then alone they will issue further refills.
Presently I am undergoing lot of trouble asking somebody to book gas refills and take for my use.
I request you to personally intervene and instruct M/S Vaishnavi Gas Agency to start issuing refills to me.

I have applied for a new gas connection on 08/12/2007 at GURUDatta Gas Services, Indane(LPG) Distributors (LOT No.83A&B, D NO11-13-201/3, Green Hills Colony, Road No:4, LB Nagar Hyd 35 )
I have paid 4200/-. When I asked for the bill I was given bill for only3823/- (Bill No-241). And for the difference 400/-, there was no response from the Distributor.
I want the extra amount collected back.
Can yoo please respond to my complaint.

We are having LPG connection with Jeevan Agency, Villivakkam, Chennai. We live in a joint family and are having 3 connections for the past 10 years. When I want to refill my cylinder this month apr 2008, the distributor said that we are having multiple connection and you need to surrender them. I told them that these connections are as old as 30 years (first connection) and also told that your person have visited our premises and checked all the kitches last year. But they are not ready to hear any thing from us. As per their statement One ration card should have only one connection. Kindly clarify our doubt in this. Whom should we meet and lodge a complaint about them.

My LPG distributer is Ananth Gas Agencies, Near H.A.L.Hospital, Bangalore - 560017, my cust. No 78331 and category is domestic double. My distributer does not book refill requisition till 3 weeks after the supply of previous cylinder. Then he takes 10-12 days to supply it. Hence practically I cant get supply before 31 to 33 days. If my cylinder finishes before 30 days or prior I am helpless and without fuel in spite of having double connection.
I would like to know if what he is doing authorised by you? If not then this practice should stop forthwith and all the customers intimated.

I wish to put my grievances and the harassment received from the Indane dealer as given below:
1. I am a user of Indane Gas from the last 1 year and I have taken the gas on production of ration card from Dixit Gas Services, Dedha Market, Khichipur, New Delhi -91, code no. 9107184.
2. Presently, I have shifted my house from the previous place to New Kondli in Delhi and I have taken at transfer voucher vide no. 022214 dated 28/11/07 and applied for a connection with M/s Roop Gas Services, A - Block, New Kondli, Delhi - 96.
3. As it is not possible to change the ration card immediately on the transfer of residence, due to this the dealer is not providing the Gas connection.
4. As per the dealer, I have submitted an affidavit in respect of my new residence where I am presently staying. Still the agency is not willing to give the Gas connection and insisting for the electricity bill of the rented house for which my landlord is not willing to part with.
5.in these circumstances even though having a genuine gas connection in my name, I am not able to get the same. The harassment cause by the agent by not providing the gas connection is driving me into madness and I am not able to cook properly and feed my family.
It is requested kindly advice the dealer to provide me the Gas connection and I am committed to give any other documents which are in my preview to get the Gas connection.
Your early action on my grievances will be highly appreciated.

My name is bhushan kumar, I came from visakhapatnam to Hyderabad. I have cancelled my indane gas connection in visakhapatnam and submitted my transfer form details in Hastinapuram Branch, Hyderabad on 3/1/2008. They told some body will come for address verification with in 2 to 3 days. Till 12/1/2008 no body has not come for verification. if i try to cantact hastinapuram branch no body lifted the telephone also. again i went to hastinapuram branch and i enquired about my transfer. Then they told we sent your transfer details to visakhapatnam for verification. if i contacted to visakhapatnam(govardhan gas agency) they also not reponded properly.
Kindly intervention in this matter and arrange to come my connection as possible as earlier. In my house i have a small child. With out gas connection it is very difficult to survive in hyderabad as you know.

I am having consumer No.26071 with Shree Graha Agency, Tambaram. It was understoot some problem with the agency and it has been changed into M/s. Pattammal Gas Agency, West Tambaram. For the past 20 days I am trying to book cylinder over phone and the phone eigther engaged or no response. It is also understood from this complaints form that the agencies first job is to put down the reciver. Kindly advise to M/s. I am having consumer no. 1457 wih M/s Sharma Gas Agency, Mangal Bazar, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi-59. I have been trying hard to contact the agency on phone for booking of a gas cylinder for the last 2 months but failed. The agency's phone is either too busy or it is kept opened. We are working coupled therefore can't contact the agency personally. I beleive to understand that number of customers might have been increased. The company should look into convinence of customers. I suggest either it should increse the staff or there should be limit to enroll number of customers.

There is black marketing of gas cylinders from Alaka gas Agency Bhubaneswar. The delivery boy never comes to the genuine consumer, but sells the gas in black, then he goes back and tells the agency that the consumer was not at home. This has been going on for a long time. IOC should look into the matter. Bhubaneswar consumers of Alaka gas can straight away write to IOC Bhubaneswar.
i have been continuously calling the Alaka Gas Agency (Indane, marketing building, unit-1 BBSR) for booking since 15 days. This Alaka Gas people has not been responded the phone calls. They are always intentionally playing with us. They are also not supplying the gas as home delivery. Why this kind of negative attitude they are showing ? WHO IS THE OWNER OF THIS AGENCY ? WHY THIS OWNER HAVE ORGANISED THIS KIND OF AGENCY WHICH IS NOT GIVING PROPER COMmUNICATION TO THE CUSTOMERS ?
This Alaka Agency have also not showing positive attitude to the customers. Always blackmarketing the gas, but not giving timely delivery to the customers.
We are the proper customers with having CARD(BOOK). Without our any fault, we are not getting the GAS timely. But those who are giving MONEY (As back side to this agency people) they are getting GAS in time.
We are some of the members, planning for other ways for laws and with proper documents, requesting our minister for this kind of mal-treatment and negative attitude of this ALaka Gas Agency (INDANE GAS).

I have booked refill cylinder through centralised gas booking centre on 2.12.2007. the registration number is 1. on 5th, dec. 2007, I came to know that the refill was already delivered to my residence as per the agency version. actually I have not received any refill cylinder till now i. e 8.12.07. up to 9.45 p. m. I found that the agency is malpractice the refills, which cauces very difficult to me to get refills in time. previously I booked refill approximately 50 days before. now I have no refill cylinder in house.

Since the online booking numbers are in use this is the third time I have booked a gas cylinder and the second time I face an issue with my local agent not delivering the gas cylinder.
Last month the cylinder was booked and the confirmation for booking and later the delivery sms had reached me but not the cylinder. After waiting for over another 15 days for the delivery of the cylinder, and thereafter confirming on the booking number that the status of my booked cylinder was shown as delivered, I called up my agent and was informed that it will be delivered in a few days. They even challenged us that an sms on delivery could not have reached my number and told us to come with the sms and show it to them. When we agreed to do the same, they delivered the cylinder a day later on the weekend.
This month too, I have booked my cylinder on the 17.08.2011. I received a confirmation, dated the same day. I called up at the booking number today, 5.9.2011, to inquire the status of my booking (Booking number being:240074, Consumer No. 10555, Consumer name: Sarit Ranjan Sengupta) and it was confirmed that all booking for my agent till the 17.08.2011 has been delivered.
Thereafter I called up my agent and was told by them that my booking is on 26.08.2011. They did not confirm about when I would be receiving my cylinder. This appears to be very irregular behavior and whether it is really the agent that is being so, or it is the incongruity in the methods of Indian Oil, that is allowing him to do so, is my query. The agent has been particularly discourteous and impertinent too. I have noted several instances where cylinders are delivered with cash payment of additional 15/- 20/- rupees over the counter, by the delivery boys, and assuming in full-knowledge of the agent. This is to draw your kind attention that have newly purchased a Maruti Ritz Diesel Car bearing registration No. MH-02-BT-2256 from M/s. Spectra Motors Limited.
I have my office at Bhayander (E), and usually fill diesel in my car at your petrol pump in reference above. The service of my car was due in the last week when it was send to the same motor agent who after checking the car found that the diesel is adulterated with kerosen and due to that the engine of my car has suffered damages. I have got the things rectified but the motor agent strictly warned against filling the car at the same place.
I therefore seek your explanation as to the adulteration being carried out by your agent and also the damages which my car suffered in the process. If I do not receive any satisfactory reply I have no alternative but to take further steps.

I am Selvaraj from Trichy, I am the Consumer of ANNAI SARADHA GAS SERVICE, PUTHUR, TRICHY - 620 017. ( INDANE DISTRIBUTOR).
Whenever I do phone to the gas service office for the refill cylinder ( after 24 days of previous cylinder received) they take more than one week to distribute the filled cylinder, i.e. more than a month for a single cylinder.
So how long will be the minimum period of getting a gas cylinder for domestric purpose. If we ask any doubt they are not responding properly the owner lady also very rude and unplasant.
KIndly reply me as early as possible.

non-delivery of refill cylinder
This is a complaint of harassment by the indane gas agency in chennai - south madras gas agency, situated at 25, thiruvenkadam street, raja annamalaipuram, chennai 600028. I have a gas connection (customer no.68277) in the name of mrs. s. banumathi which was transferred from thiruvanmiyur in may 2007 on my shifting the residence to teynampet. I had booked for a refill on 24th november 2007, when I was told that I will receive the same within a week.
I am a working woman. the gas agency, on being called, informed me that the house was found locked on 26th nov. I have, thereon, made alternate arrangements so that the cylinder can be delivered at any time during the day and I have informed the agency accordingly. it was, however, disgusting to note the agency has been quoting the same reason that the house was found locked on 26th november and promising that the refill will reach the house by the end of the day. I have, however, not received the refill till date. it has reached a point where I feel I am being harassed by the indifferent, audicious replies given by the different ladies who answer the calls by turns. could anyone do anything about it, please?

When I booked for refil gas cylinder on 09 April 2010 over phone they received my request and noted in their records and told me that after 4days refil cylinder will be delivered. I waited for 10 days but we didn't to receive above booked refil cynder then i called once again over phone to our distributer, they told me that when i booked the first time i.e 09.04.2010 the next day itself they sent a refil cylinder, but delivery boy reported to distributer that the door was locked (the same cylinder has been sold to others on payment of extra basis BLOCK ). This type of coments are given by the distributer but actually my wife was at home only. This is not the first time such incident has happened. They exercise this type of comments several times but how long shall we keep quiet this type of exercises? Till today they did not deliver the refil cylinder.This is very inconvenient to customers.
I humbly request you to look into such kind of issues and kindly arrange the delivery of refil cylinder as soon as possible on the basis of actual price and justification please.

problem in booking
I am consumar of Indane gas with Daman Gas Service, Jalandhar, with consumar No. B dgs 18112. I am trying to Book the gas cylinder since last week. every time is phone remain engaged & there SMS service is not working properly. Since the booking timeing is the same as our office hours it is not possible to go & book the cylinder to there gas service center which is 15 km from our office. despite of best efforts I would not able to book my gas cylinder
I am a consumer of Indane Gas through Gurgaon Gas, Gurgaon with consumer no.G-021493. Whole of this year I did not receive the gas on time. They always tell that it will be delivered in 10 to 15 days, even in summer. One has to remind them all the time. Last time I booked the cylinder on 23/08/11 and it was delivered on 13/09 only when I saw the deliver man delivering gas to my neibhour. On being asked on 11/09 where is my cylinder, he told me that he is delivering the cylinder booked on 31/08. I told him that I booked it on 23/09. He curtly told me that they might have forgotten to give the delivery slip which is a total lie as they sell the cylinder in the black market. The cylinder was delivered on 13/09 Monday being holiday for them. This shows clearly the something hanky panky is going on. The deliver man never carries weighing balance and a consumer is never in a position to weigh the cylinder which is another peculiar problem.

Booking a cylinder with Guru Krupa Indane, UGF-25, Suhant Lok, Gurgaon is a nightmare.Incessant calling only receives a continuous enaged tone, or a no-reply. I am a hassled customer Bearing customer no 1525 stuck for life we Indane distributor , Guru Krupa Indane, UGF, Sushant Vyapar Kendra Sushant Lok I,GURGAON , PHONE 2570200, 2570671.
Invariably the phone is busy and this results in personally going and booking for empty refill. Even though I have officially obtained spare cylinder still I am unable to cope with the situation of running out of Gas as the Dealer refuses to make the booking a a minimum interval of 15 days of refill.
The situation is further aggravated with rude the behavior of booking agents as they consider themselves as gods as they refuse to listen to practical problems to the extent of banging the phone
If India OIl officials feel that they have to compete in the open market then they should attend to these calls and pull up their Dealers for poor services.
I have been trying to book for a refill of domestic gas cylinder but have not been able to get connected to the telephone numbers as provided by my gas agent, Cooking Gas & Appliances, Block - BD Market, Shop No. 65, Salt Lake City, Kolkata - 700064. Phone: [protected]/2305. These numbers are perpetually engaged and a visit to their office/shop will tell you the story as to why the numbers are perpetually engaged. (They are off-hook most of the time lying unattended.) I picked up the mobile number of the proprietor Mr. Tapan Saha [protected] from your website and called him up. His response was that he is not in office and is at his residence, then he quickly changed his statement and said that he is outside and will visit his office only Monday and hung up.
My woes continue and I have not been able to book the gas as yet. I am writing to you in hope of speedy addressal to this issue as I want to go on record of having used all means of booking for a refill of domestic gas.

Wish to alert the indane gas customers that some un authorised persons purported to be from indane gas company had visited our area and demanded inspection charges for inspecting the gas stove. when I demanded the identity and receipt for the same they did notrespond and disappeared.
Indane customers may please demand their identityand clarify the matter with local ioc officials and report to them.
I agree.
In fact the indane gas agencies themselves sends their employee for inspection n times a year and charges for the same.
He does nothing but just looks the gas and asks for 100+ rs.
Incident with is all because of these gas agencies, since they started it doing the wrong way.
Government permits inspection once per year only and it is compulsory as i read on indane official site.

Sub.:- Non Availability of Gas Cylinder with your Distributor, M/s Pooja Gas, Unichira.
We are residing in the above said residence for the past 25 years. Earlier we were getting the cylinder from Sharon Gas and now it was shifted to Pooja Gas. My father is holding a gas connection with two cylinders. From the last one year we are not getting the refill cylinders on time. After booking it takes 30 days minimum for the delivery.
We are a family consisting of five members (My father, Mr. C.R. Nambiar, mother, wife, son & myself). A gas cylinder in our house will last for 25 – 30 days. The usual cylinder-delivery days are Wednesdays & Saturdays. As the delivery days are these two days, it takes more than 30 days for the delivery. The leave days, hartal days and problems with telephone connections, postpones the delivery date further. This makes the relationship with your distributor, a miserable one. We are keeping only one connection in our house with an extra cylinder and now both the cylinders are empty. We are managing with the help of some of our friends which cost us extra time and money. I’ve intimated the same to the manager of Pooja Gas, four months ago and he told that he will arrange to deliver the same within 25 days, which was satisfied only once. I’ve received my last cylinder on 27th September. Today I went there to see the manager on 10 am, but he was not present at that time. A huge crowd was found in front of the office and the staffs were not able to manage them. They were not having any stock and were asking to come after four to six days.
Please arrange to reply for my following doubts.
1. Is the Indian Oil staff deciding the dates to issue the refill cylinders to a family?
2. If so, what should be the minimum life of a 14.2 kg cylinder, to a big family as well as the small? (number wise consumption rate is expected)
3. How can we check whether the distributor is issuing cylinders to some others in our consumer number, as they are not taking our signatures after delivery? They are giving us a bill in our consumer no., which they can issue to some others also. Please make arrangements to inform to our email id or a mobile alert when ever a bill in our name is processed.
The shortage of this extend will lead to black-marketing which will defame you.
Expecting an early reply as well as remedy for the above told matter.

I have recently taken a new gas connection with consumer No. KD 30413 with Kanchan Deep gas agency, Mango, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. I was pressurized to take many extra accessories like Gas Oven, Cylinder Trolley, Gas Pipe, and Gas Lighter with connection which is not necessary for me to take from the gas agency. Moreover, I have to pay more Rs. 10/- on getting home delivery while the indane also pay delivery charges to their broker.
YAH I do agree with now today's about KABRA gas agency Jugsalai pursuing so man extra acceraise like fire etinghusher, aprone etc.

i was having tranfer voucher from Kutch Lignite Power Station, Gujarat ( Code 112663). I deposited that Tr to Balaji Gas Company, Bilaspur (Code 124432) and they forced me purchase the pipe otherwise they were not ready to accept my transfer voucher and i was alredy having a pipe from my previous connection. They told me its scheme of the company that you have to purchace a pipe whether its new fresh connection or case of transfer.

gas distributor not caring for customers
Agency of Indane Gas in Asal Durg building, Jaipur, Rajasthan, is not bothered to attend phones, doesn't care for honoring bookings, is selling cooking gas in black, is indulging in malafide business practices. Is anyone there to to listen? IOC is a public sector compnay, so it doesn't matter if it looses business. There are no private players as of now. Don't we in India need more privatisation / competition?

2. Rude behavior.
Is there a 21 day limit before u can actually book? I recall reading otherwise a statement issued by INDANE GAS OFFICIALS. Say my cylinder gets over on the 5th. The cylinder is delivered 10 days later . The booking period starts ticking from the deliverted date not the date we book. I should say even a LK child can figure out the mathematics?
3. Giving more trouble to people who cannot articulate their case. My maid was told that she could book her next cylinder only 30 days from her booking date.

Last year dated 25.5.2007 am get new connection from above gas agences without Ration Card, am applied ration card to civil supply office but civil supply officer not yet issued ration card. Local indane Gas suppliers
is refusing to supply refills with out submitting ration card. Tamil Nadu government order 3 months back without submitting ration card all costumers to supply refiles of LPG gas.
Am several time approch to that office in persion submitting my
1.Indance sustomer voucher no. 3448755
2.Mettur Town Ship house Tax Receipt
3.Mettur Town Ship House tax assisment
4.Electricity monthly bill receipt
5. State Bank of India Pass book.
But, Mettur gas agences office manager not concedering my letter and also ever time he is asking letter and address prof
This week 3.11.2008 am also sending one Registered post with Aknowledge letter to mettur gas agences with my all above profs.
pls do needful and know to me what can i do and also consider my letter

sir i have connection from your company from 15/04/2008 at your jaipur ( shastri nagar gas service ) 130 ram nagar shopping center shastri nagar jaipur, know i sift from jaipur to udaipur your jaipur office give me termination voucher no [protected] dated 15/04/2008 i deposit at you jaipur office my two cylinder and one regulator they told me that u give this t v at udaipur office when i asked for refund they told me your deposit with indian oil corporation you only give this t v they charge u only two gas refile charges ( rs 302*2=604/- ) only
when u give this t v to your udaipur office ( udaipur gas services )near sevasram udaipur they told me to paid complet amount with rs 1900/- ( rs 2865 )
but when your jaipur office cant give me such amount then why i give your udaipur office complete amount .
pls do needful and know to me what can i do
