Investigation Discovery: A Must-Watch for True Crime Fans Despite Heavy Advertisements
!
I've been a fan of Investigation Discovery for a while now, and I have to say that I really enjoy the content they put out. From thrilling murder mysteries to shocking true crime stories, this channel never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat.
One thing that can be a bit frustrating, however, is the amount of commercial breaks that they have. Sometimes it feels like I'm watching more ads than actual content! And let's not even get started on the annoying commercials that seem to be on repeat.
But even with the commercials, I still find myself coming back to Investigation Discovery time and time again. The quality of the programming is just that good. I appreciate how they delve deep into the stories and provide a detailed look at the crimes and their aftermath.
Overall, if you're a fan of true crime or just enjoy a good mystery, I would definitely recommend giving Investigation Discovery a watch. Sure, the commercials can be a bit much at times, but it's worth it to get access to some of the best true crime content out there.
Former Investigative Discovery Fan Disappointed by Repetitive Programming
This channel used to be one of my favorites, but we don't tune in anymore. It's disappointing as I'm a fan of true crime shows. I particularly enjoyed watching "Homicide Hunter", "Murder Chose Me", "See No Evil", among others. But nowadays, the programming seems to be old reruns of 20/20 episodes under new titles. It's all starting to feel repetitive.
Instead, we've been watching shows by Rachel Maddow and Laurence O'Donnell. It's a shame to say goodbye to Investigation Discovery, but perhaps it's for the best.
Investigation Discovery: Same Old Stories and Struggling Southern Accents
Investigation Discovery (investigation.discovery.com) is a television channel that seems to always be bringing out "brand new shows." However, upon closer inspection, one might notice that many of their shows have the same stories over and over again. This can be frustrating for viewers who are looking for something fresh and new.
One of the most annoying things about the channel is that they tend to use actors who struggle with fake southern accents in many of their shows. Honestly, if they are going to continue to use the same old stories over and over again, they should hire actors who can actually pull off a believable southern accent. It can be quite ridiculous to watch actors struggle through fake southern accents as they try to bring these stories to life.
Overall, if you are looking for some true crime content, Investigation Discovery can be an interesting choice. However, keep in mind that the channel tends to rely on the same old stories over and over again. You might also get a laugh at the expense of the poor actors struggling with those fake southern accents.
InvestigationDiscovery.com: A True Crime Junkie's Dream Come True
This site, InvestigationsDiscovery.com, is really neat-o. If you're into all the good stuff like Deadly Women, Disappeared, and Prison Wives from the channel of Investigation Discovery, you will find even more pay dirt up in this website. There's a darn tootin' ton of true crime stories, quizzes, and video clips of their happening shows.
It's a seriously great site, folks. What really takes the cake, is that you can access the "Most Evil Scale" which is some kind of way to grade-out the worst, most heinous serial killers by Dr. Stone, who seems to know what's what. He explains the whole hog background story of each one so you know exactly where they sit on the scale of badnessnessness. I can't get enough of this stuff, it's so darn interesting and fact-filled.
Investigation Discovery, Please Tone Down the Background Music!
I gotta say, I'm really into Investigation Discovery. The stuff they investigate is pretty intense, and I like to try and figure out the cases alongside them. But, there is one thing that just gets on my nerves. And that's the dang background music they play during the interviews.
Like, I get it, they want to create some sorta spooky mood or whatever. But it's just so dang loud, I can barely hear what the people are saying! And if I'm tuning into one of these shows, it's because I wanna hear the details of the investigation, y'know?
I mean, who wants to hear the tinkling of a piano or the screech of violins when you're tryna figure out what happened in a murder case? I know I sure don't. If anything, all that extra noise is just makin' it harder for me to pay attention to the important parts.
So, hey, Investigation Discovery folks, here's a suggestion - just tone down the background music a bit. I promise it won't ruin the mysterious vibe or whatever y'all are goin' for. If anything, it'll make my viewing experience ten times better.
Review: Investigation Discovery - A Look at the Channel's Direction and Programming
I really love watching crime shows that portray real-life cases, and Investigation Discovery (ID) used to be the go-to channel for that kind of content. However, in recent years, I have noticed that other channels are also showing similar types of programming. Despite that, ID still remains my top choice, but I must say that I am a little disappointed in the direction that the channel seems to be heading.
Usually, the channel would feature shows that delve into intriguing and suspenseful real-life cases that keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. However, what I have noticed recently is that more emphasis is being placed on the personalities of the presenters rather than the cases they investigate. The result is that I find myself turning off the channel even more frequently than before, particularly when I am looking for genuine true crime stories with twists and turns that keep me hooked.
That being said, I still watch ID on occasion, but it is only because there aren't too many other channels that have content that is more compelling to me. While I am always excited about new crime cases that are presented on the channel, I find that they are becoming fewer and fewer. If only the channel could return to its roots and go back to what made it stand out. I believe that if they focused more on the true crime cases themselves and less on personalities, they could attract more viewers, including myself, and keep them coming back for more.
In conclusion, if you're a fan of real-life crime shows, then ID could still be the channel for you. However, if you're looking for shows that have drama and creativity while remaining true to the real-life subject matter, then you may want to look elsewhere. With this in mind, my advice is to check out ID if you haven't watched it in a while, but if you're like me and hope to go back to the golden days of true crime on this channel, then you might want to pick one of the newer channels that are mushrooming with new content, since they might have a better mix of personalities and real-life events.
Biased Political Messages Overshadow Great Shows: An Honest Review of a Streaming Service
I gotta say, I really enjoy a lot of the shows on this here service, but I gotta say, I ain't too happy with the biased political messages they keep shovin' down my throat. It seems like every commercial is just bashing President Trump, and they don't even try to be fair and show any conservative views. I mean, come on! We already got enough of this stuff on those mainstream media channels like MSNB(S)C and CNN. Can't y'all just give it a rest and let us decide how we feel for ourselves?
It just ain't right that they're tryin' to tell us how to think and feel, especially when they ain't even bein' fair about it. I mean, if you're gonna push your own opinions on us, at least try to show both sides of the story. And don't forget that President Trump was elected fair and square by the people, so if you're tryin' to turn them away with your biased service, you're only hurting yourselves in the long run.
That being said, I do still enjoy a lot of the shows on this service, so if you can look past the political bias, you might find somethin' you like too. Just be prepared to sit through a lot of Trump-bashing commercials and try not to let it get to ya too much.

Investigation Discovery: From Real-Life Events to Fake Reality Shows
I gotta say, I used to be a huge fan of Investigation Discovery. I mean, what's not to love about a channel that showcases real-life events and the investigations that went into solving them? But lately, I've been having some serious doubts about ID's programming choices.
First off, what's up with all the fake reality shows? I mean, come on, ID, you're supposed to be about real life events. I don't need to see another show about some fake cooking or real estate drama. And don't even get me started on Joe the Inspector. What is that even about? I don't need to see some dude walking around houses with a flashlight. If I wanted to see that, I'd just go on Zillow and pretend to buy a house.
But even worse than the fake shows is the fact that the titles of the real-life shows are giving away the plot. Seriously, Wives With Knives? Fear Thy Neighbor? Deadly Women? It's like the channel is trying to make it so obvious who the perpetrator is. I miss the good old days when I could watch an ID show and have no idea what was going to happen. Now, it's like I could write the script myself.
And let's talk about the commercials. I swear, I can't even get through an episode without seeing twenty ads for some fake show or another. I know some people just fast forward through them, but that's not the point. ID is supposed to be about real life events, so why are they advertising fake reality shows? It's like they don't even care about the viewership anymore, just the ad revenue.
That being said, I still love a good ID show. But if things keep going the way they are, I might just have to switch over to HLN or Oxygen. At least they haven't sold out yet.
Investigation Discovery: Bring Back the Quality Content and Stop the Constant Promotions of Discovery Plus
Let me just say, I can't take it anymore! I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Whenever I see a new show advertised on Investigation Discovery, I get excited. But time and time again, I am let down. The only new thing about the show is the title. The interviews are the same, and the people being interviewed are even wearing the same clothes. What gives, ID? It's almost like they are intentionally trying to insult us. And let's not forget about the constant promotion of Discovery Plus. It's like they're saying, "If you want new content to go with that new label, you have to pay for it. Just $4.99 a month!"
Now, don't get me wrong. There was a time when ID was amazing. The first couple of years had shows like Murder Book, A Crime to Remember, True Detective, Swamp Murders, and Lake Erie Murders, just to name a few. But it seems like as the network got more popular, they abandoned quality content for smut and sex. Cheating spouses and swingers knocking each other off for life insurance became the norm. It's disheartening.
However, there are a couple of shows that keep me coming back. One of them being Murder in the Heartland. The production of it is fantastic, and I love everything about it. But who knows how long that will last before it's just another show with a different name.
So, I'm begging you, ID. Please give us back what made us love you in the first place. And Discovery, get it together. Stop promoting a new label with the same old content. We deserve better.

Investigation Discovery: A True Crime Lover's Dream Despite Sign-In Hassles
. It's a real hassle and really killing my vibe. I mean, I love watching shows on Investigation Discovery, but this signing in business is starting to make me wonder if it's worth it.
That being said, once I do get signed in, the selection of shows is pretty awesome. I can always find something interesting to watch, whether it's a good old-fashioned true crime tale or some spooky paranormal stuff. And let me tell you, I love me some true crime.
The website itself is pretty easy to navigate, with clear categories and search functions. Sometimes the videos take a little while to load, but that's to be expected I guess. I just wish they would find a way to let me stay signed in for more than five minutes at a time.
All in all, I'll probably keep coming back to Investigation Discovery despite the signing in issue. The shows are just too good to pass up. Maybe they'll fix the problem eventually, but until then, I'll just have to grit my teeth and deal with it.
Investigation Discovery: A True Crime Fan's Dream Website, but a Bit of an Audio Struggle
This website is just amazing for all the true crime fans out there! It’s so easy to navigate and find shows that you’re interested in. The only problem I had was the sound quality. It was a bit low and I had to strain my ears to hear the dialogue sometimes. I've seen other people have the same issue too but it doesn’t bother me much since I just turn up my volume. It would be nice if they could fix it, though.
If you’re like me and enjoy a good true crime show, then you have to check out Investigation Discovery! They have a wide variety of shows that’ll keep you entertained for hours. I especially love how they feature lesser-known cases that I haven’t already seen on other platforms.
The website is so user-friendly. I was able to quickly find what I was looking for and start streaming in no time. It’s also great how they have a lot of shows available for free. Who doesn’t love free content, right?
Overall, I highly recommend checking out this website. As a true crime enthusiast, it’s been my go-to place for watching crime shows. I just wish the sound quality was a little better but I can deal with it!

Review: Investigation Discovery - "Disappeared" and "Forensic Files" are must-watch shows, just be prepared to turn down the music
cause sometimes we can hardly understand what the characters are saying. However, we love the shows on Investigation Discovery (investigation.discovery.com). The investigation into true crime stories is fascinating and the way it's presented keeps us engaged. The reenactments of the crimes are done very well and leave us on the edge of our seats.
One show that we highly recommend is "Disappeared". The way they tell the stories of missing people is so detailed, it makes us feel like we're right there with the investigators. Also, we appreciate that the families of the missing people are featured. It's heart-wrenching to see how their lives have been affected by their loved one's disappearance, but it's also inspiring to see how they keep hope alive and never give up the search.
Another show that we love is "Forensic Files". The way they use science and technology to solve crimes is amazing. We're always blown away by the lengths that the scientists and investigators go to in order to find clues. It's a reminder that justice will always be served, no matter how long it takes.
Overall, Investigation Discovery (investigation.discovery.com) is a great channel. We just wish they would turn down the volume of the music a bit. We'll definitely keep watching the channel and recommend it to our friends.
Disappointing New Shows on Investigation Discovery: A Once Loved Channel Gone Astray
I hav been watchn Investigation Discovery for a minit now, but recently sumthing weird is going on. It seems like they hav changed up their producrs or the boss people in charge because the new shows are not good. I am not feeling it at all. They got this one show now where they follow prisoners who are falling in love and it's just weird. Like who wants to see that? Why can't they just stick to the true crime stuff that they used to have? Where did that all go? It's like they kicked it all to the curb or sumthin. Really makes me sad cuz I used to luv this channel.
Investigation Discovery's Website: A Haven for True Crime Enthusiasts, but Beware the Movies
So, I stumbled upon Investigation Discovery's website (investigation.discovery.com) and let me tell you, it's quite the entertaining platform for those who love true crime mysteries. However, I have to be honest, some of the movies they offer can be a bit underwhelming.
Recently, I watched one called Adopted by Murder, and wow, it was a disaster. It felt like I was watching a cheesy Hallmark movie - not at all what I would have expected from Investigation Discovery. I do hope they consider removing these types of films in the future.
Now, despite that one disappointment, I still have to give Investigation Discovery props for all the other quality content they offer. From their informative articles to their in-depth documentaries, they truly do a great job at exploring the world of true crime.
If you're a true crime enthusiast like myself, then this website is definitely worth checking out. The only downside is having to sift through the occasional low-quality movie. Overall, I would still give it a solid 4 stars.
Investigation Discovery's Overplayed Commercials: An Annoying Interruption
Yo, so like I gotta say something about Investigation Discovery's commercials. Like, I'm paying for this service and I don't wanna see the same commercials for every single break in the segments. It's so annoying, you feel me? I mean, come on, man. Can someone change this? It would be lit if watching ID became better.
ID Channel Needs to Step Up Their Game: A Disappointed Fan's Review
ID, let me tell you something. You are disappointing a lot of people who used to be your ride or die fans. Shows that used to be really good like A Crime to Remember and Real Detective aren't even on anymore, who knows what happened there. Now all you ever talk about is this streaming service they want us to pay for, but it's just the same shows over and over again. And don't even get me started on some of the new ones they're putting out, it's just plain stupid! ID was always my go to when it came to learning about true crime and stuff, but it isn't like that anymore. If you don't change soon, you're going to lose me too.
Investigation Discovery: Great Shows, But the Ads and Cuts are a Turn-Off
I have to say, Investigation Discovery has some intriguing shows that I like watching when I have the chance. However, I've recently noticed that there are a lot of community service advertisements that are played repeatedly - sometimes up to three or four times in a row! This can get a little tiresome and frankly, I'm not a fan. To make matters worse, it seems like there are more ads than show sometimes!
Another thing that I find bothersome are the cuts between scenes. They can be really jarring and take away from the overall experience. I know that some people might not mind it as much, but personally, it's very distracting.
Overall, I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to watch Investigation Discovery as much anymore. While the shows themselves are pretty good, the constant ads and odd cuts can be hard to overlook. Who knows, maybe I'll give it another chance down the line, but for now, I think I'll stick to other options.
Deadly Women" Episode Review: Compelling True Crime with a Shocking Twist
and her husband didn't like it so he killed her and the black man. It was crazy to watch but it kept me glued to the TV.
Investigation Discovery is my go-to channel for true crime shows. There's always something new to watch, and the cases they cover are always interesting. One of my recent favorites was "Deadly Women." On July 1st, they aired an episode featuring Rhonda, who the narrator described as having "no class." According to the show, Rhonda was living with her husband as roommates, but they were both dating other people. One day, Rhonda brought a black man home, and her husband ended up killing both of them.
It was a shocking case to watch unfold, and the show did a great job of presenting all the details without being too sensationalistic. What I appreciate about Investigation Discovery is that they don't glorify violence or crime. They take a serious, journalistic approach to their shows, and I find that very refreshing.
Overall, I highly recommend Investigation Discovery to anyone who loves true crime stories. Whether you're a seasoned armchair detective or just someone looking for some interesting TV to watch, ID has something for everyone. Just be prepared to be on the edge of your seat - some of these cases are truly chilling!
