Never dealing with them again
About two years ago, Jet Blue had some sort of arrangement with American Airlines at Boston Logan Airport. I booked the ticket through Priceline. It seemed it was an American Airlines at flight (the ticket said American Airlines by Jet Blue). American Airlines allowed me to reserve seats with my confirmation number. When I got to the kiosk of American Airlines, I found out my actual flight was with Jet Blue. Walking about 1/2 a mile through the airport, found out that Jet Blue had no seats left and made me pay for one! I filed a complaint with the BBB on this, and neither American Airlines or Jet Blue agreed to give me any refund. I should have stopped dealing with them at that point. Yesterday, I called Jet Blue to ask their refund policy. Without giving them any authorization to do so, they cancelled my flight!
When I finally got a chat started with them after being either hung up on or disconnected, they restored my tickets but charged me the full price again since they thought they refunded my ticket. I looked up my credit card account today, and found no refund was ever done, I was charged again. Because I don’t want my flight cancelled again, I’m going to dispute the charges after I return (the charges are pending). I was also told I would have to pay 150.00 for a refund despite the fact I got a refundable ticket paying extra for it. This charge was not done. I’m willing to pay more for a ticket in the future not dealing with this fully incompetent company. To add insult to injury, they kept changing my assigned seat because of some change in flights. Most likely they’ll play the no seats available again with me due to basic incompetence.

Customer service - I had a booked a flight for 3 family members. I have a sick family member, and we are trying to go on Sunday, 5/18/25. Due to a real ID issue with my brother's ID, could not travel. I reached out for help. In addition to the $100 cancellation fee, customer service told me to avoid the $25.00 service fee I could cancel my brother's reservation on-line. It was noted that the Employee #87471 told me about splitting the reservation to only cancel 1 of 2 people on the reservation, but this was not the case. I cancelled both reservations. I just want to note that this was very poor customer service. I understand that Delta is helping their customers with this difficult time. Not only did they not help, but I have incurred a great deal of expense. Please consider reviewing my complaint. In addition to the $42.00 charge that I paid for insurance (which will also not help). I am in need to rebook a flight at 4 times the cost. My sister is a Mosaic member and will also not be traveling or renewing with Jet Blue.

Delayed flights then no pilot to fly the plane there was there.
Had a trip scheduled out of Atlanta, GA on Feb. 16, 2025. Bad weather early morning - our flight scheduled out at 9:54 a.m. - delayed, then delay, then moved up, then delayed. We had a connecting international flight out of JFK at 8:00. The plane arrived at gate at 2:30 - but pilot timed out. Missed our flight - plane left after 7:30 p.m. - no pilot to fly it for almost 4 hours.
Claimed loss: Airline tickets. Prepaid seat assignment and early boarding. Compensation for over 3 hour delays and baggage taking over 4 days to be delivered

I was charged for 2 checked bags on Travelocity on my return trip on JetBlue. I have a JetBlue Credit Card and thus my frequent flyer number gives me 1 checked bag free. (Frequent Flyer: [protected]). I called JetBlue who told me “They did not charge me, but the travel agent did”. Travelocity tells me the opposite. So, I requested a refund of $85 which is the cost of for the 1st checked bag $35 and 2nd bag $50. Again, I told them this is unfair. I even said, ok, put me in first class leaving/returning to compensate me. I was told “we can’t do that”. So, JetBlue thinks that I should sit back and pay $85 for something I did not ask for? This is theft!
Now the agent called Spirit, but they will not refund my entire amount I paid for the outbound flight.
I pay my JetBlue credit card on time. This is literally robbery.
I am entitled to not only an apology from Travelocity, JetBlue, and Spirit, but I should get a travel voucher to use for a year.

Customer service and booking issue. for funeral
I went on web site to book travel to attend an unexpected family death. I was able to log in select seats and fill out billing information and received a total purchase price. I waited about an hour to check my confirmation email and Amex billing information. Did not receive. I could not get back into the web site to check, kept getting errors. The reason for my letter to you is to explain that my sister Elizabeth Marte has been a faithful JetBlue customer for over 15 years. She always books all her trips with JetBlue. However, we are very dissatisfied and disappointed with a call we made to JetBlue’s Customer Service on 2/7/24 at around 7:32pm. If you can retrieve and listen to the call, you will hear our conversation.
We spoke with a Customer Service Agent and Solmarie, Supervisor for over 40 minutes to no avail. Neither of the two individuals we spoke with expressed any type of empathy for my sister’s situation although we explained a profoundly serious matter. I expressed to Solmarie (Supervisor) that they had no empathy and that she did not allow me to speak or express myself without interrupting me.
Solmarie, who when asked if she could provide her last name said she would not be able to provide her last name. However, gave us her “Crew number” as #23350. After I expressed to Solmarie that they had no empathy and that she did not allow me to speak or express myself without interrupting me, she allowed me to speak, but was a bit abrupt. Only at the end of our call did Solmarie state she hopes the surgery goes well. However, since I personally run a Service Call Center and I can tell you that she did not sound very sincere and only mentioned it because of what I had previously stated.
We expressed that my sister's daughter (Martha Venezuela) recently diagnosed with Cancer of the Uterus must have surgery right away. Therefore, my sister Elizabeth had to make an emergency trip to care for her daughter in Florida. Elizabeth Marte flew out on 1/27/24 (confirmation #IOUTAC) because the first surgery was on 1/29/24. Martha’s second surgery scheduled for this Wednesday 2/14/24 at Lake Worth Cancer Center in Florida.
I attempted to attach a copy of the proof of the diagnoses and surgical letters, but this “Share a Concern” process does not give me the option to attach my documents. Nevertheless, if you respond to my email and advise how to submit the medical documentation, I will provide it.
We would like to know if your Company JetBlue would be kind enough to empathize with my sister during the difficult and painful time. We were not asking for a refund, but can the tickets/funds be in the form of JetBlue “Travel Bank” until my sister is able to travel back to her home in New York?
Finally, we would recommend these individuals get registered or enrolled in some kind of training in the following areas:
• Empathizing with customers.
• Dealing with difficult or challenging situations/customers.
Commendation *I must say that I called back today, 2/11/24, and spoke with Ms. Amaranta, Customer Service Representative who was very empathetic and helpful. She was able to help us by cancelling the tickets and refunding them to the JetBlue Travel Bank for Elizabeth Marte’s future travel. Extremely disappointing experience with jetblue customer service
I recently had the displeasure of dealing with JetBlue's customer service, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I booked a flight with JetBlue but had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. To add insult to injury, not only did they charge me a cancellation fee of $200.00, but they did it twice! Yes, you read that correctly – I was double-charged for a cancellation fee.
Upon realizing this error, I contacted JetBlue's customer service with the hope that they would swiftly resolve the issue. Unfortunately, my interaction with the customer service representative, Jameson Smith, was far from satisfactory. Not only was he unable to provide a reasonable explanation for the double charges, but he also seemed completely disinterested in assisting me.
As if the double charging wasn't enough, I discovered an additional charge of $270.00 from JetBlue on my bank statement. When I questioned Jameson about this mysterious charge, he fumbled through his words and could not provide any clarification. It's shocking that a company of JetBlue's reputation would allow such incompetence within their customer service department.
The frustration I experienced in trying to resolve these issues with Jameson Smith and JetBlue's customer service is beyond words. I expected a certain level of professionalism and competence, but sadly, it was sorely lacking. It is disheartening to see a company disregard the concerns of its customers and fail to take responsibility for their mistakes.
I strongly advise anyone considering JetBlue for their travel needs to think twice. The lack of accountability and the appalling service I received from Jameson Smith have left a lasting negative impression. JetBlue needs to address these issues promptly and ensure that their customer service representatives are adequately trained to handle such situations.

I am presently on hold with baggage central. It’s been like a bad joke. My estimated hold began at 11 minutes and after 10 minutes of continuing to hold my estimated time to hold is now 28 minutes. My 81 years old mom and I booked flights on October 6 to Santiago DR. when we arrived at the airport our flights were changed on the pretenses that we arrived late. The flights were for 3:55PM and the representative claimed that the airplane doors closed at 2:00PM. We were booked for 9:55PM and that flight was delayed as well. It seems that your airline changed the flight to accommodate other passengers that was next to us but to avoid giving us any compensation she lied. On our return fight for it was another nightmare. It was delayed because of mechanical failure, and we had to wait in the plane for hours until the plane was fixed.
I decided to book another flight for February 13, 2024, at 8:00 PM and received an email advising me that my flight for February 13, 2024, has been changed from 8:00PM to10:45PM it seems that your company has the habit of not respecting your customer's time. None of the options given to me are suitable for me. I expect to have the options of cancelling my flight without having to get a travel credit and receiving my money back. It is absurd that JetBlue changes flights and customers have to deal with their incompetent services.

Booking # GURXKR. My flight into JFK was delayed, I had an international connection which I missed. I was rebooked on another flight 24 hours later (the only flight to that airport) by a JetBlue representative in the airport; I was told I would be eligible for a refund for a hotel stay of up to $250 (which I had to find, book, and get myself to and from), just call 1 800 Jet Blue. When I returned to home (USA) 15 days later, I was sick. I was able to call 10/27/23, first spoke with "Lenox" who told me to call Aer Lingus as they made the reservation. Aer Lingus told me to call JetBlue as it was their responsibility. Called again, spoke to "EXEL" who told me he was sending a form via email for me to complete. Did not get it. Called again on 10/31/23 (3 times now) and was not told, I am "ineligible for a reimbursement" as it would have had to be requested "ten days from time expense was incurred." Nobody conveyed there was a time limit when JetBlue rebooked my flight. I was also still overseas on a trip at the 10-day cutoff I was never told about. This cost me $400 extra (because hotels in NY are expensive and I have to eat) and I missed a day of an event that had been planned for 2 years. I only want back the $250 I was initially told I was eligible to receive. Can you just do the right thing and please reimburse me?

Travel bank credits
I had Travel Bank Credits expiring in September and booked two flights.
I had a bunch of health issues over the summer that are still ongoing, I purchased and paid extra for BLUE in case I needed to cancel.
I cancelled with the intent to book a flight elsewhere later in 2024 due to health issues.
Upon cancelling they said I would be refunded to Travel Bank and asked if I still wanted to cancel.
I agreed to cancel - being I was being issued the credit. I received two emails saying I was being refunded and credited.
When I checked my account I was not refunded and the amount was $516.62
I contacted customer service who said my credits expired. I explained I purchased tickets before the expiration and paid extra for BLUE
and that I was not informed this when I cancelled.
I was told I would be refunded
All the customer service person could tell me is I got an email in September. I only received an email saying my points were to expire not that I can't get a refund on new tickets.
And when I cancelled why would they tell me I was being refunded!

I'm tremendously disappointed and upset with JetBlue. I booked a flight to Bermuda on 9/24/23 (Confirmation code CLKQWL) and the next day they cancelled that flight without sending an email notifying me of this cancellation. Our flight experience for the first time was horrible. Our flight (2088) was delayed several times from the original booking. The first change was ok from 6:00am to 10:48 on October 5, 2023. To arrive to the airport in a timely manner to find out the plane was having issues on October 4 but I was not made aware. If this problem existed the night before, we should have been notified, giving us accurate time to change our flight or make other arrangements. We had plans for October 5 to be to our destination in New York. The delays change ever hour. We finally left Jacksonville around 4:00 pm which caused us to miss our show. Jet Blue gave away my seat on my plane without consulting me or paying me.
I arrived over 2 hours early on Sunday, October 1 to travel on flight 1873 from EWR to LAX, scheduled departure 8:30PM with 11:30 arrival. I paid extra to fly on jet blue so I could be on flight.
Flight was on time, and plane arrived at gate 34 and all look good, until Jet Blue Management decided to provide plane to people waiting for earlier flight where plane had mechanical problem.
I was not provided any opportunity to go on my flight at my time of departure, and jet blue just moved everyone from gate 34 to gate 30, and provide a delayed boarding of 10:30 which pushed out to 11PM.
Arrival pushed out from 11:30 to after 2:30 once bags were provided.
I lost my ride and needed to take half a day off from work because of being so tired, because of the late arrival which got me home after 3:30AM.

Instead of making a pregnant woman wait for hours in the queue to get a voucher for the hotel and food, the employees at the airport told us: that we can find a hotel and pay it ourselves for a maximum of 250$, we can eat for maximum 12$ per meal per person up to 3 times a day, we can take a cab for a maximum of 20$ and we will be compensated an additional 350$ each for the flight. They ensured us that we can pay for these ourselves and we will get reiumbursed once we call Jetblue.
So we did not wait in the queue, we went to bed after waiting for more than 12 hours at the airport.
We call JetBlue now and they tell us we only get reimbursed 25$ each! Are they kidding? What is this ridiculous company? When we called another agent, he literally lied to us because he did not know what to answer and told us we will receive a refund which we never received. We want our reimbursement for everything we paid because of this company's problems and lies. It caused so much stress and anxiety that couldve been avoided.
Desired outcome: Paying us what we are due. 350$ compensation each, 219.22$ for the hotel, 23.02 $ taxi and 21.22 $ for food. We have the receipts as proof.
