375R54A zero turn mower.
I am filing a complaint on this mower because I have to replace the mower deck belt on this thing at least 2 to 3 times year. I bought this from Lowe's in Anniston AL and have taken it back to them for repair or check to see if something has been put together wrong, and they tell me there is nothing wrong with it. If there is nothing wrong with it why do I have to replace the belt so much. I am not happy with this product and for what I paid for it, it should perform better than this.
Desired outcome: I would like for the mower to be repaired and be paid back for the belts I have bought.
4105 john deer tractor
The tractor has a frame that the front loader is attached to, and the frame is bolted to the bottom of the engine block. We have lost two front drive shafts as a result of the bolts viberating out. We have had to drill and tap the bolt holes, in which makes them larger and that much closer to the inside wall of the motor. We have had to purchase drill bits, tap bits, bolts; lock washers, tread locker, 2 drive shafts, and collars that hold the drive shaft on. please help us resolve this issue. the dates i dont know this is the third time its happened.
Desired outcome: permanent repair

I recently sent 3 letters certified to moline headquarters. I have tried working with ag-pro about my problems (7233 sunset strip ave nw n. Canton, ohio 44720) yet to be resolved. john Deere D110 2015
D110 single cylinder turns until compression then stops. If you starve it of air it fires right up. repaired the first time under warranty broke again less than 100 hours later. Steensma on Stadium drive in Kalamazoo not too helpful. Basically took 200 dollars to tell us that it doesnt work wants 500 more to look at it more. We will probably just replace the engine but its disappointing there is no support for this known issue of the decompression deal on the cam breaking.
Also this is my moms Sandy Howden [protected]@gmail.com [protected] I just was trying to help them and I suggested to take it to Steensma where they bought it I didnt know they didnt care after the warranty was up.
Desired outcome: new engine installed for just labor and a refund for labor and delivery spent since it was basically for nothing
Roadside mowing tractor
In 2019 the township purchased a mowing tractor. We used it to mow in 2019, 2020, and now in 2021 the hydraulic pump quit. The tractor was down for 2 and a half months. Today we received the bill for the work, we are not complaining about the dealership (they were awesome to work with) but very sad that this was not covered under warranty. $7, 600.00 for a hydraulic pump and two plus months without our tractor (that was very expensive to purchase). So john deere, what can be done about this very large bill for a 3 year old tractor that should not of had a hydraulic pump issue, especially after we as the township have maintained the tractor without any issues. Really makes us re-consider any further purchases.
Desired outcome: Refund of all or partial of repair bill
jd 125 hoe parts
Fittings on hoe are all rusting. Pitting and leaking because of inferior material used. This is the third time I have contacted you, with no reply ! The tractor has served me well over the past few years, and have no other complaints. I would like to know what you could do to repair the faulty fittings and or replace the cylinders. Please get back to me in a timely manner.
Thank You

5075E Tractor
PO# [protected] - I purchased a John Deere 5075e tractor in December of 2020 with a 520m loader and I also purchased a rotary mower John Deere MX7 at the same time for my landscape business. I did not use it very much during the cold months. In the spring of 2021, I began using the tractor for garden tilling jobs as well as other landscaping projects. I noticed that it was leaking a significant amount of antifreeze on the floor in my shop. The local dealership where I bought it sent someone out several times to repair it. The leak continued and the dealership came and picked it up keeping it for two weeks and could not find the leak. I contacted a second dealership when I noticed that there was still a leak. They repaired the overflow hose clamp. This did not fix the leak. I used it for another job and it ran warmer than normal. It has now been in the shop again for two more weeks during my peak season. The delearship found that the radiator is defective and a replacement is not available until September 24. They tried to get a local radiator repair shop to make temporary repairs. It could not be repaired and now they are replacing the radiator with an aftermarket radiator. I still have not received my tractor back as of today August 13, 2021. This has been an escalated repair ticket. I have had to turn down work and lose customers because I did not have the equipment for my business.
Desired outcome: I am not at all satisfied with my John Deere purchase. I would like John Deere to provide a full refund for this tractor.
Inferior product and excessive service charge
I own a John Deere 3039R tractor with cab. I purchased the tractor in 2015 but have less than 100 hours on it. I use it mainly for winter snow removal on my acreage. However, I was using the tractor in July to smooth gravel in my drive when I noticed the air-conditioning was not working. I called our John Deere dealership to have a service technician come to diagnose the problem. The dealership is a 15 minute drive from my house. The technician was there for about 0.5 hours and didn't find the problem. He later called and said that since his pressure readings were fluctuating on the high pressure end I would probably need a new compressor. Really? I think that must be a pretty cheap compressor to begin with when I have used the air very little in 6 years. I have 96 hours on the tractor, mostly winter use. For the service I was charged $323.72. My complaints are 1) inferior compressor part and 2) excessive service charge.
Desired outcome: John Deere should replace the inferior part free of charge and investigate excessive service charges.
Toy plough and cultivator
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a grandmother and have been a huge supporter of John Deere toys for my children as well as my grandchildren. Recently I purchased both a toy plough and cultivator as Easter gifts for my grandson. Within the first hour of play, the hitch snapped off the plough. You can imagine the tears that were shed! If the toy had been mishandled, I could understand but it was not. I returned the toy to the place of purchase and they were very kind to give me another one and stated that this was not an uncommon occurrence.
Since April, the hitch has snapped off of ploughs number 1 and 2, and the cultivator as well, ALL IN THE SAME PLACE and cannot be repaired.
The ironic thing is I have a toy plough that is at least 30 years old and has been played with both in and outside and it is still "tilling" the carpet whereas these new models can't be trusted to last more than an hour. even when handled with care and kept inside.
A very dissatisfied customer,
Susan Graves
Desired outcome: I strongly recommend that your design crew go back to the drawing board and create a hitch that stands up longer than an hour of play and doesn't disappoint children. Let's put John Deere quality at the forefront once again.
Lies and unethical behavior
Dropped off Mower on July the 24th. The mower only had 17 hours on it. There was two things happening with it. It had to be jumped 10 out of the 17 hours. The switch wouldn't drop the blades all the time, you had to keep messing with it to get them dropped. Called after they had it a week to check on it and was told the repairman had been out and parts had to be ordered. They would get back with me, never happened. So the next week called on August the 9th and didn't have a clue about anything but that it would be a couple of days. Then I get a call asking if it had been dropped off or picked up and what did it look like. Well it's green and yellow and has a deer on it. Then the next day a girl calls to tell me my mower was ready. Remember was told everything was still under warranty. They didn't look at nothing but the battery, replaced the battery then charging me $58 plus labor. I asked about the warranty, was told the battery was a year old, it only had 17 hours on the stupid battery. I'm very upset, this makes my third John Deere Mower, but I will never purchased another if this is how you treat people. Going to return the mower for my money and go buy a Walmart mower, at least they have a life time replacement on theirs and they start!
Desired outcome: Honor the warranty!!! As simple as that.
Service manager at one of your dealerships
Im a mechanic at one of your dealerships, m&r power equipment in hermitage pa. I was informed by my service manager that he made a false claim on a warranty to get a deck shell covered. I was the mechanic on the job and diagnosed the problem. I determined that the deck shell was bent because customer hit something and bent the deck shell. The indent on the blade indicated he hit something close to spindle and the deck shell became bent where the blades didnt match up anymore. There is no evidence pointing to the cause that was given on the warranty. The customer claims that we put on a baffle and a bolt came out and destroyed the baffle and blade. The blade and baffle showed no signs of damage or hitting each other. If this is happening to one warranty, im sure this isnt the first time. I do not wish to be responsble for others lying on warranty that I worked on. We are supposed to be your eyes and ears and make proper diagnoses and to fill out the paperwork properly so that we can better serve you and our customer as well. I dont believe in lying to satisfy a customer. Ive been in this business for over 36 years and never had to resort to such tactics. Ive dedicated myself to giving proper diags and telling the customer the truth. I have no problem writing up a warranty for something as long as it deserving of it but I will not lie to the manufacturer nor the customer as well. I believe something needs to be done. James lacaze service tech p.S. If you want pics of baffle and blade plaese notify me as soon as possible before the evidence is thrown away.
Desired outcome: investigation into warranty fraud
JD 1025
I bought a 1025 with hoe, The fittings welded to the hydraulic cylinders are rusting out, pitted and leaking. This is a fairly new machine and this should NOT be happening. I feel the steel used is a very poor quality and should not have been used. What can you do? The machine runs great, and does a great job for it's size. Please respond shortly. To [protected]@att.net
thank you
John deere 3032e with a loader.
I have had this tractor to several dealerships 3 times and headed there for the 4th time. when using the forks or bucket to move materials the bucket or forks creep forward and then the bucket or forks rock. Also when using the forks with scaffolding and the tractor running, the forks will creep down about 9" at the end of the forks, making it un-safe, When I put the forks or bucket in a position and have them stay there. The dealers repacked the bucket cylinders once and then replaced the bucket cylinders, but this has not fixed the problem. I not happy with a new tractor that doesn't perform the way I need it to.
Desired outcome: fix the problem so I can use the tractor in a safe way around the farm.
S140 tractor lawn tractor
Purchased S140 LAWN TRACTOR for the upcoming 2021 lawn season on 03/22/2021. My husband used a few times but had trouble with the deck being so low, he wanted it at 4 inches like his old John Deere but had trouble getting it raised. I spent hours on phone with a run around with Home Depot and from the Fort Smith, AR dealer who said they didn't do warranty work, they would be happy to look at it if we brought it to their place and it would cost $65 up.
I called John Deere but the only information she could give me was another dealers phone number in Poteau, OK. I called them they were very nice, picked up the Tractor, took it to Poteau and raised it as far as they could but is only 2 5/8". They said that was the best that could be done and brought it back to us.
My husband is so disgusted and upset and so am I
Desired outcome: NEW Lawn Tractor set correctly
3025e tractor
Bought a brand new 3025 tractor in April, used it to mow for an hour, and the next morning there was a puddle of differential fluid on the ground under the tractor. The rear differential was leaking on the back left side. After going back and forth with the dealer and over a month going by, the dealer finally came out to pick up the tractor. Two weeks later after they picked it up, not a word from the dealer, and phone calls were never returned so I went into the dealership. They hadn't even got the tractor in to look at it yet. Going on 3 weeks without a tractor that was brand new, and having to mow 10 acres with a riding lawnmower. If the dealer is going to take this long to fix the tractor, then they should provide a loaner. I would go in to bother them more, but they are 45 miles away, and in a different state.
Desired outcome: Loaner or new tractor
42" mower deck construction
Purchased a John Deere tractor S120 from Home Depot in 2019. Has 37 hours on it. Tractor is great, but 42" mower deck has a major problem.
The deck is bent where the left blade shaft passes through the deck. John Deere local distributer (not the one I purchased from, they are out of business) tells me that I obviously hit something with it.
Well, yes I did. I clipped a stump enough to chip it and take a small chunk out of the blade. I would expect to pay for new blades or to have broken the shaft. But the mower deck itself has bent and cannot be bent back into shape.
The cost for a new mower deck, bare, is well over $700 and labor to R and R the deck is over $250. I am looking at about $1000 cost to me because the mower deck bent. Why did the mower deck bend so easily? How many others have this same problem?
How do I get John Deere to look into this matter and stand behind what they sold me?
Disgruntled, ex-JD fan in Ohio.
Desired outcome: Reasonable repair or replacement cost for this deck as I now have a virtually useless tractor that I cant cut grass with.
the same thing happen to me, bought at Home Depot, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, Canada in 2019
Tractor is great, but 42" mower deck has a major problem.
the left blade shaft passes through the deck. I cut grass only with my tractor. After such a short time I would assume that my John Deer would be of better quality, I am very disappointed.

3032e with loader
when using the loader, whether using the forks or the bucket, they drift forward making it hard to work from portable scaffolding, it also is easy to lose part of my load of material when moving around because bucket drifts.
Once the bucket drifts then the bucket has no pressure and flops back and forth.
Dealer has had in shop twice for several weeks and tells me it is within John Deere tolerance. I never had this problem with New Holland I had for 25 years.
This is not acceptable and unsafe on the job site.

order check
I bought a John Deer riding lawn mower7 days ago from Best Buy on line for $135.00. I have not heard a word from them. All I know is they said it had been shipped, but no tracking number. The longer I wait the more concerned I am that this is a SCAM!
L120
I have always related John Deere products as top of the line, and so purchased an L120 from Home Depot in Cranberry, Pa in 2005 for list price of $2199. I serviced it regularly, and cut 2 acres a week, until it hit about 500 hours, and the B & S engine shot craps for no apparent reason. So, because I loved the machine, I invested in a brand new replacement B & S engine, and continued on. The engine had been hard-starting from day one, but I thought it to be the 'nature of the beast'. Also, the reverse never seemed to respond well from the start either, but I didn't know it was a indication of future problems. Recently, after an hour or so, the machine could not make it up a small hill, and I had to resort to using my 212, which I purchased specifically to use when my L120 quit working. Today I cut the whole lawn with it, because I just done think there is much life left in the AM131580 transmission you put in this machine. I recently had the 48" mower deck completely rebuilt with new pulleys, blades, and belt. I cuts beautiful when its running, but now I am asking for help from you to help me get it back to its original strength with a new transmission. I would ask that you get in touch with a JD dealer near my house in Harmony, Pa, pick it up, do the R & R, and return it to me. It is the right thing to do, I know you know it, too. By the way, you will be helping out a veteran, too.
I ask this because I am 80 years old and need a reliable machine to continue to keep my yard looking John Deere Great?
Thank you in advance!~
Desired outcome: New AM131580
