Joy Mangano suitcase
Using the Joy Mangano suitcase I’ve found that it has developed fraying on the zipper and separated from the plastic. I had to use duct tape and hoped that this would be sufficient to get it home with my belongings safely. It did make the trip home but now I am reluctant to use again . I paid good money for this item and expected it to last a lot longer . My husband has some American tourister luggage from the early 90’s that has seen many of airports and is still in good condition. I sure hope we can resolve this issue . Thank you .

I bought this luggage set from one of the shipping networks. 3 piece soft side with drawers inside for organization. I only used it 3 times. The small size held up so far. The large case_ both plastic protectors near the wheels cracked and peeled. The 4th time I used the bag I had to duct tape it. I reached out to customer service in June. Nothing. Not even an auto reply.

This thing does NOT work at all as it says. It is so loud and takes forever to dry anything. It doesn't work as they stated at all. When I say LOUD I mean LOAD when it is running and it again doesn't dry anything in 2:00 mins times tee shirts still don't dry. Is there somewhere I can return this or swap it out with one that isn't defective. This can't be right and on one side it keeps sliding down and I have to re-pop it up to stay tall and open. I pray there is a service center or replacement center i can send this defective dry that DOES NOT WORK at all and is very depressing
large and medium size luggage set
I purchased this set from one of the morning show deals. The zippers stick very badly so I can only zip one way and after only two road trips they have nicks in places that look like chipped paint! Inferior product! Buyer Beware!
I did contact the company and was told to return but at that time I couldn't find all of the zippered bags that came with them so I figured I couldn't get a refund.

huggable hangers
Don't waste your money. These hangers start to fall apart pretty quickly. I am a extra small so the weight of the garments can not be used as a reason for the hangers to just fall apart. It's simply the terrible quality of the products.
Then try to get ahold of "Ingenious Designs" what a joke. I tried email and phone only to be placed on hold for 21 minutes then sent to a conference room voicemail. I left a message but dont expect a call back. If you want to try this type of hanger I'd recommend the ones from A discount store. At the very least if they fall apart you only spent $9.99 not $20-$40 for the Joy Magano ones.
airflo purifier
she claims it would work and give a pleasant scent with the cartridges it came with for 2yrs. Not true at all. this peice of crap not giving off any fragrance within 3 days and I didn't use it evey day but I noticed a couple of months ago it just stopped working after having less than a years usage out of it. talk about money wasted. ups refused to ship it for unknown reasons. when I requested a refund those people at ingenious designs to me they don't give refunds to call hsn, WTH? really. Joy should be brought up on fraud charges. upon further research on her she has quite a few complaints on her products and yet nothing has been done! and some fool had the nerve to make a movie bout her life to put more of consumers money in her pockets. her products are cheap quality and do not last. where's our rights?
Electric ceramic fragrance diffuser bulb
This is not the night-light type version but the CORDED 2 pc VASE with the high heat (102v-25W [NP5N GU10...H/28/15]) push/twist "bayonet" type bulb. Light burnt out with flash literally 4th time turning it on. Once finally carefully removed bulb to try to check problem, found that the replacement bulb COST MORE [$18. than the the entire unit. (Came as twosome so anticipate other will go out shortly.)
HSN Customer Service as usual sounded genuinely concerned but referred me to IngeniousDesigns to back up the one year warranty . Obviously the design plan is another of Joys quicky efforts to throw out on the market to be 'product tested' at our expense. I have been stuck with couple other items I should have sent back straight-away rather than thinking 'it's just me...' (I too have same issue with 2 of the versions of Todd English pans.) Seems like we really need to get our try-out time within the 30 day HSN window. Don't hesitate on your "return it" instincts.
breaking hangers
I have purchased over 300 huggable hangers from Joy Mangano. To date at least 25%, that's over 70 hangers, have broken off at the top. I would like replacements from this company and want her to know just how poorly these hangers are. I have a business that is based upon organizing and this looks bad for my business as well. Anyone with a direct email to Joy Mangano and or her company, not HSN or Target as I get no where with them. thank you
I have had this happen too many times and I just now found this video that shows a fix - I have thrown away several, but now I can salvage any that break from here on out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojX2fGH5Wws - the thing that I have noticed is my original hangers that I bought back around 2001 are still going strong and none of them have broken, but the ones that I've purchased in the last 5 years are breaking.
I also had problems with her hangers.I gave them as Christmas presents to several people and am now embarrassed.They were the holiday special and were very pretty.They all broke on the top.They sent replacements and they broke too! I will not buy anymore of her products

After reading so many complaints about Ingenious Design customer service department I had to let everyone know that I had a great experience with them. I ordered huggable hangers from HSN and when they arrived in my home 1 of the hangers was broken so I called HSN and they directed me to this company. The customer service rep was courteous and friendly. I was on the phone for less that 2 minutes when she told me that she would send me 10 hangers and they would arrive in my home in 7 days. I told her that I had read bad reviews and that I was not expecting such great service. This is my third set of hangers that I have ordered and I believe they are a great product. They have made my closet look so much better and have saved my much needed space.

poor quality
I ordered 4 sets of the Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers Kids 36-pack Plus Bonuses Item: 273-975 off of HSN.COM. Over 50% of the hangers arrived DAMAGED and glued together! I was so impressed by the presentation and potential of these hangers; however, the quality is really lacking. On some of the hangers black tape was sticking out of the hanger, making it look really tacky!
I like th color varitey, but the fact that the BRASS smells really harsh and "made in china" logo shows on all the brass hangers is REALLY a turn off.
Please make these hangers the way the orinigal adult huggables were made and with the choice of CHROME. And, if you are going to put "made in china" put that on the OTHER side of the hanger so we don't see it when you hang your kid's clothes up!

Bad service
I purchased a Joy Mangano My Little Steamer/Huggable Hanger combination in February 2008. It did not work properly so HNS.com referred me to Ingenious Designs for a replacement because it was passed the 30 day return period for HSN. Getting the Ingenious Desings customer service department on the phone was a hassle, but when I finally got through they promised me a shipping label and an exhange for a new steamer that would arrive in two weeks after receiving the defective one. The label came a few weeks later and the steamer was sent back on June 24.I called back on July 9 to ask where my steamer was and they said they would send it out right away. By July 25 still no steamer so I called again. They said they had no steamers in stock and it would be a long time until they had them so they offered a refund. When I told them the steamer was part of a combo purchase with hangers they said they couldn't refund my money but they had suddenly located a steamer and would send it right away. By August 21, still no steamer and I called again to be told that the previous two steamers were mistakenly sent to Colorado and they had no more steamers in stock and again it would be a while before they had any. They again offered a refund but when realized it was part of a combo purchase they couldn't refund my money. So again, they amazingly found another steamer and said it would be sent right out. Lo and behold in two weeks a new steamer arrived. I used it a total of 5 times and you guess it, it doesn't work properly. It keeps shutting itself off during use like the first one, sometimes shutting itself off during the heating up period! So, I called back today September 22 but had to hold so long I gave up and will try calling again tomorrow. Rest assured I will NEVER order anything that Ingenious Designs has anything to do with. I'm still hoping for a working steamer but I just might have to chalk up this experience and be grateful it wasn't a more expensive purchase. I will update as the saga continues.

I bought many packs of Joy Mangano hangars. After a few years, several of them broke in half at the top where the hangar piece is. I did not have heavy clothes on them. They just snapped! I also bought knock-offs at Marshalls, and they have not broke. Hmmmmmm
Beware of Joy Mangano NEW Miracle Clean product! it is not safe, they don't want to share the list of ingredients they just claim "other ingredients" so just use your imagination. Also I asked HSN if it is Septic system safe and they responded NO.

I bought a new one from them and called to see if I could use my old number and the foreigner on the other end said YES No Problem... but once he got my old number and came back on the phone...he told me Sorry It is a Different Plan and you can't roll over anything... I said OK then cancel it and I will keep my old phone... He then said OH No You can't...I all ready changed it over to the new plan so too bad... I said BS... I demand you stop it and put it back on my old phone... he said NOPE isn't going to happen...sue us. They are deliberately fraudulently getting you to think this is a great new way to get you off the triple minutes for life... DON'T FALL FOR THIS CON-JOB like I Did... now God only knows what they will "Try" and charge me when the minutes run out on this phone.. Well I did without a mobile phone for 50 years... I can do without one again and please don't tell me how great a plan you have is... I have paid 100 dollars a year for 8 years and never ever used up the 1500 minutes or 1000 text minutes or the gigs of memory that I used to get... Sad when a company has to deceive the buyers because they had a plan for life the company wants to end. So beware of HSN snake oil sales since they are Aiding & Abetting in this fraud.
I have just brought Joy 100 piece huggable hanger on 4-6-2017 in expresso and 4 have broke the large suit one's. I have been buying them for the last 10 years and have had only four break in 10 years, wonder if these are defective one's, I read that another customer had the same problem with yellow one' she brought in 2014. I have brought the steamer years ago and it burn up and was leaking all over, I will never buy another one, I have brought everything off HSN.
I bought 2 forever fragrant airflo purifiers and really like them, but I need new filters. How she did not think of new filters when she sold over 92000 purifiers.washing them a few times is ok, but please, you don, the expect me to use a beat up falling apart filter that is not cleaning my air. What were you thinking joy! .someone called hsn where they were sold and asked about buying new filters. She said that they would be available very soon, no problem...still waiting..ingenious designs say they do not deal with them, hsn said then are not there to buy. Who do I contact next? Joy mangano's merchandise makes dollar store items look like they come from Nordstroms. Junk is a kind word. I bought the huggable hangers BUT not from her but from the Christmas Tree Shop! 10 for 5.00! And not worth a cent! Junk, junk, junk! Not only do the hooks fall off but the hanger itself breaks in half. For no reason. I took one off closet rack and it just broke. Three or four times I just picked them
Up from the floor and the hook was missing orbit was broke in half. It is such crap and I went back to the good old plastic ones...they are 10 for $1.00 and not once have they broke.

I have been using this every chance I get (living in California water is precious) and I got this April 15 and the water still takes like metals! Unfortunately I threw the box it came in away so probably cannot get a refund and I am really mad that Joy Mangano has her name on this and she should be aware that this is a piece of crap product! This was so expensive and I wish I could get my money back. After checking I find that ingenious designs is NOT approved by theBBB. Live and learn. Shame on you Joy Mangano!
i purchased 4 sets of her pillows that included the travel pillow. she looked into the camera and PROMISED the best pillow and sleep her customers would ever experience. i believed her and instead of opening the pillows i saved all 4 sets for christmas gifts this year ( 2015 ) To my great disappointment they are terrible and NOBODY likes them. they are hard, lumpy, heavy, NOT CLOUDLIKE at all. of course because i waited and trusted her it is too late for a refund. i think i should get at least 50% refund BECAUSE I BELIEVED HER. i am beyond angry and disappointed. i am out a lot of money - i don't make millions like Joy. i also noted all of her products are made in china/overseas instead of employing the millions of americans who made her a millionaire.
i agree with these complaints. i have always enjo'yed Joy's products, until my last two purchases. i have ordered three of Joy's purses, and they have always came well wrapped except for the last two i ordered. one was wrapped the way it was supposed to, the other wasnt wrapped at all AND was missing the shoulder strap! i called HSN to send the black one back and to have them send me another black one. well, to find out they did not have anymore solid black ones, because the black one they had just threw in with my blue one because it was the last one they had left from someone returning it. i really feel let down the way they just tried to throw something in used from what they had left that someone else had returned.
my other complaint, i thought i would try the huggable hangers bonuses galore special she had just this week. when i recieved them, there was one set of the bag had bseen opened and these hangers have a lot of little spots of felt that was missing off the hangers. i really hope Joy can read these and see how HSN is just packaging and throwing the mechandise in there any kind of way. i really enjoy her products, but i'm really considering not buying anymore.

Have you thought about the rough tough handling these suitcases go through with airline personnel - i have had her suitcases now for over 5 years and traveled the world - not one issue - she has made my life easier with all her line of wonderful items
