I never asked for membership. Unauthorized credit card charge.
I used the service only one time in June 2020 asking the detail of social security office. I never became member or never filed application for membership or did not subscribe for membership.
After first time use of service in June 2020, I have been charged regularly (monthly) membership fees for the month of July 2020 and August 2020.

I do not want membership as I never applied for it. Without my consent, if at all created membership by justanswer company then it is scam and I dispute transactions for the month of July and August 2020. Fund must be returned and stop charging.

On the internet search I was searching the address of Social Security office in Philadelphia which remains open in COVID time, zip code 18914 then the Cat popup appeared so I put the question text message in chat box. I did not get response so I called the given number then what I got the address is known and that office was closed. Actually the it was useless. Later on I got SMS text message from my bank informing charge of $50. In the chat pop up it asked for credit card number for identity but never mentioned about the membership or the service charge $50 for answering question. This is unfair and unethical and not acceptable.
I was travelling overseas and could not dispute the charge. Now I found all above charges for membership which I never asked for or agreed to.
I request you to refund the above charges on top priority and stop charging in future.
Please acknowledge the receipt of this email and conform me the refund of all charges.

Charging funds without consent
Dear Sir/Madam,
On the 27th of July I made a search for the question. I came across with the answer to my question online. It said that for £1 refundable I get answer to my question and provided card details Exclusively for refundable £1.
Next, I was taken to the page where it said that it will cost £50.
My question was not that important to pay £50 and I didn't proceed any further.
Only today on the 2nd of September 2020 from my bank statement I found out that I was charged twice £50.
I contacted JustAnswer customer service and I was told that I was signed for the membership of JustAnswer.
Therefore this is a total scum!
I never had an account and never registered with JustAnswer.
I never contracted for a membership but I was charged by JustAnswer a £100.
I request a full refund within 24 hours of £100 and £50 in addition for fraudulent manipulations and my time that it was resolved by customer service.
I don't have an online account with you and I never received and invoice for your charges which is another proof this is a fraud.
Please call me on [protected] as soon as possible to resolve the issue.

Unauthorised illegal membership scam
I feel like a complete fool. I asked a question on 18 May May 2020 which was answered satisfactorily by Just Answer and I was billed for £5 by Legal JA.com on the same date and £35 on 27 May. However, on looking back through my bank statement I can see that I was billed £35 on 26 June, 27 July and 23 August by Legal JA.com membership USA. Can you believe it took me 3 months to work out that I was being billed monthly by this company, as I did not connect their name with "Just Answer".
This all happened during the lockdown period when I was ordering quite a lot of goods online and I am ashamed to say that I did not realise I had fallen for a scam.
This company needs to make people aware that they will be treated as members and billed monthly, it is not at all clear, and people only realise what's happening after monthly subscription payments are deducted from their bank account, sometimes this can happen for months before discovery. Thousands of people are being scammed, it's a scandal.

I was under the impression that after contacting one the agents I would have a fee of five pounds taken from my account which could be refunded. I then had 35 pounds taken out of my account.
I want a refund as I don't think the website is clear about this. I had absolutely no idea that I was on a trial that would turn into a membership.
I don't think that the reply I received which advised me to reset my password again on the Microsoft website was advanced enough to be worth any money.
I was given the impression that I would only be charged five pounds maximum and I could have handled that but a sneaky 35 pounds two weeks later gets on my nerves.

Here is my question to you in writing as evidence as well. I need promped action from just answer support ASAP as this is a legal matter and breaking the law of confidentiality of my son about info for his adoption. It appears on Google, linked to his name. He was previously distressed about the same topic which was causing him mental distress.
May I ask you please completely to remove my communication with the solicitor on 11/07/2020 on the website ASAP please! It is linked to Google and my son's name.. He goes on Google every day after school. It is a very confidential information. This is breaking the law as an adoptive mum I am telling the my sin's story to everyone. My husband just told me if this story about our son is not removed in the next 48 hours is going to divorce me for being a bad mother causing problems to our son after contacting your website.

Unauthorized credit card charges based on answers never given.
Contacted JustAnswer on about August 12 (first time I used) to answer questions about how a Garmin golf devise worked. I provided a credit card as requested to cover their costs. They did not provide an answer, just said we could help you, for $26. I said I don't want to pay that fee; can contact Garmin and have them help. They did and I received how to work the device. On August 19, they charged my credit card $46 twice. I contacted then and reminded the representative I did not receive any help, and wanted a reversal of the charges. Lots of denial occurred and I told her to reverse or I would contact the credit card company, PNC Bank. I did 8/19/2020 via email as they were closed. On 8/20 I will call and speak directly to a person there.

We never signed up for a service and don't have a membership number and want this stopped.
Called the number that was listed for the billing and they couldn't tell me what it was for. She would try to talk to their fraud department but didn't know if we would get resolution.

Service scammed me to sign up for a membership
I was online with a manufacturer and wanted a technical question answered. During this process, I was transferred to just answer not knowing it was a different company. By the time I realized what was happening I tried to disconnect.
I am now being billed $46 per month for a service I did not use nor want. Just answer will not refund the fee. This must be their business model - get people to inadvertently get on the website and scam people out of one or month's subscription.

I paid £5 through my PayPal Account, but when I realised that this company also requested that I paid £50 per calendar month for there services, I immediately closed their account on PayPal. At the same time requested that they cancel my Account with them. At this point, and subsequently. I have not received any answers to my problem.
I emailed them on several occasions to cancel my account. They replied that had no record of any account in my name. It is strange that they have taken my money, and I have not received any communication from them (All I want is my money back)!
The now want me to give them a survey.

I was in a hurry to help my son fix his Prius's electrical issue. I signed up quickly and through I was paying $5 to receive an answer. The answer wasn't helpful (understandable as electrical issues are hard). However, I didn't realize my credit card would be charged $34 a month for a membership fee. Perhaps it was my fault for not reading the fine print as we were trying to fix a car together. When I saw my credit card had been charged for two months, I called. They canceled but wouldn't refund anything.

Won't refund monthly charge that I don't want
I honestly thought I canceled my account the day after using it and now it is costing me $150 for late fees on rent because they will not refund the $29 for the program that I cannot use. This is not the way to run a business -to force people to pay for a program that is useless to them.
I have asked -no begged several times that they refund the $29 so I can pay my rent on time and in full but they don't give a crap about anyone -just themselves. Most companies would refund the money to keep the customer happy because a good recommendation goes a long way compared to a complaint.

Expert supplied faulty advice. Customer service [protected] obviously lied and told me I would get a phone call from a agent to help me. No one will even admit to the lie.
