I'm asked to review the work of W from A/C company
I'm asked to review W's work on our A/C. Currently, my feedback is about this individual. I'll reserve judgment on the entire generator installation until it's finished. W met with the inspector on 8/2. Despite being slightly late, likely as a substitute, he was amiable and, despite previous issues, the job passed inspection. I'm now awaiting the generator's final setup, after which I'll evaluate the entire installation.

has serviced our units in the past. Our ac recently quit working. The company quoted $2,500 for the repair and provided a long list of items that would be required. The service tech indicated that everything on the list would be necessary. They recommended a full replacement in lieu of repair. The full replacement was quoted at over $11,000. I got a second opinion on the repair that came in at $775. I did not show them the company estimate but did observe that the technician did a full check of the components as part of his work. He did mention a couple of items that may need attention in the future but they were not necessary at this time.
Very efficient and personable as always.Had some permit problems and was directed As how I could solve them to move forward.Once again will always call Keefes.
From the first phone call to the installation everyone was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Big shout out to the technician and our installer. We highly recommend Keefes.

AC went out Sunday around 5 PM. Called and was told by answering service Chris would call. After not hearing from him, called again and told no tech on call. Called third time with no luck. At about 8:15 AM on Monday finally reached someone in office. Said they would send Walter out. Walter came and did a fantastic job. After explaining what problem was he fixed it. I had turned off unit to keep from damaging it. He explained that I could have used the 7 month old unit. If I had been contacted Sunday, I would not have had to sleep in the heat. What about your 24/7 and get you cool in 3 hours. That is one reason I staid with your company. Will think twice next time I need an AC.
Mr. was knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to answer all our questions. He explained the process involved so we knew what to expect. Im looking forward to getting my home generator.

We pay annually on two units, but when you call for service they want to put you on a list 3 weeks out! Thankfully there was a cancellation so we only had to sweat it out two days. Technician came out and didnt seem to know what he was doing (worked on unit 1 1/2 hours), first thinking it was a faulty board (on a unit but a few years old). He eventually deduced that coolant was low. After adding more the unit was cooling wellfor a day and a half, then back to same ole, same ole. It runs constantly and the lowest weve gotten today is 78. Obviously there is a leak somewhere. There better not be a long wait for service and Id appreciate an experienced repair tech! Ill update my review once resolved.
was very thorough. He didnt just replace a fuse and call it a day. He investigated why the fuse blew, inspected the whole system and checked for leaks. System is blowing cold. Theo *** and I are cool and happy. Thanks!

Keefes sent Rob out to service my AC units which is a must in the south. Both are pretty brand new but he still inspected my system very thoroughly and offered me knowledge about how to keep them running at peak performance. Couldnt have asked for more.

Had an emergency situation with 91 year old husband and a broken air conditioner in the middle of a significant heat wave with extremely high heat indexes. Worked with the office early on Monday morning and a technician arrived at the house very quickly. A diagnosis of the air conditioners problem was on the spot. I was given a detailed explanation regarding the problem and its resolution together with an estimate. Boc, the technician, worked in my attic in temperatures of 95 to above 100 degrees. He was knowledgeable, efficient and polite throughout the entire process. The air conditioning is working fine and were now in a safe environment again. Words cant express our thanks to Keefes for providing this service from start to finish.

John *** came out to give us a quote on a Briggs & Stratton Whole home generator. John called ahead to ask if he could come a little ahead of his appointment time as he was running early, We agreed & John arrived exactly on our new appointment time. John took his time reviewing what we expected from a back-up generator & made a check list of all items that would be powered by the generator if there was a power failure. John supplied us with two options & (2) quotes while at our home & emailed them to us immediately. He reviewed the generator warranty, delivery time, installation time & answered our questions about competitors generators. There was no "Hard Sell" if you "Buy it today you will get this special price" but did explain future shipments of generator arrivals & the possibility of delays if they were our of stock. Now we just have to decide which generator to purchase. Other companies can only try to match Keefe's performance, but would probably fall short.

I was pleasantly and impressed with the expedient customer service response of the office staff. I submitted an online service request, due to my HVAC not cooling my home as it should, around 11:30pm. I received a call back around 8:30am much faster than the *** hours normal call return timeframe given by most businesses. With the extreme heatwave going on in the area this year (as if it cannot get any hotter here in Louisiana), I was anticipating a wait of a 2-3 days for service. However, I was able to be scheduled for the next day, which was great to hear to me. Later that same day I was contacted to schedule, their office admin called and asked if I was available right now because they had a cancellation in my area. Of course I took the appointment offered. As I was told, the technician assigned to my service request named ***, did contact me before his arrival. He was very courteous and professional. He told me step by step his diagnostic approach to find my problem. Once he finished, not only did he tell me what he found, he had taken pictures and videos of my unit for visual aid. I cannot tell you how impressive this level of service is highly appreciated as a customer. So many times, you are at the mercy of a service persons word of mouth as the truth. *** provided (in writing as well) all of my available options to remediate my issue. This is another impressive and appreciated quality, and thats integrity. I desire and require it personally and professionally. Just like most customers, all I would like is for someone to please be upfront and give me ALL of my options that are available to me. Especially when it comes to ones well-being and financial state. I determined what option was the most feasible and useful at this time. He also arranged for a sales technician to come to my home the next day to assess and discuss replacement of my 14 year old HVAC system. I highly recommend Keefes when it comes to your AC, Heating and Electrical service needs. Good job

I had a very bad experience with Keefes, it is still unresolved but they keep emailing me these requests for a review so here goes. My old unit stopped working in July. Tech told me the part was over $2K and would take a month to come in. Advised replacement. Next guy (salesman?) came over later and gave me quotes on new units, ranging from $11K to $22K. My house is a *** sqft 3/2, btw.Then a third guy had to come and measure, which was the following day. All 3 employees at this point have assured me my new unit would be so much quieter than my old one (which was never really an issue but I went with it.)Got another quote for $9K, but Keefes contract stated I would be charged 25% of the estimate if I cancelled at this point, so I went forward with their install. 2 more guys came to install, they did not install it the way the previous guy told me they would. Did not hook up my smart thermostat, they way the previous guys said they would. They charged my credit card without notifying me, or doing a walk thru of the work done, or having me sign anything. This resulted in an over balance charge. My bank alerted me about this charge BEFORE the tech even came in the house to walk thru and show me the work. When contacted by the tech, the office refused to refund my money before I gave them ANOTHER credit card to charge. Let me say that again. Keefes charged me $14,000 on one credit card, then wanted me to pay another $14,000 on another credit card before they would refund me the first $14,000. I refused. Someone called me the next day to say Nevermind we will refund you, just call us when the refund goes thru and make your payment.The worst part of all is the unit is SO LOUD, if I am in my kitchen, dining room, or 2 out of the 3 bedrooms, you cannot hold a conversation or be on the phone while it is running. It is louder than my neighbors riding lawn mower. Yes, seriously. Have had 3 different supposedly senior techs out since to investigate. 2 were nice and offered solutions that did not end up working. One was not so nice and told me whats in your head and whats happening are two different things.Hurricane hit and they stopped communicating with me. I reached out after a couple weeks to schedule the promised repairs. Next guy comes out Monday. I guess we will see. Overall: do not recommend.
