20 packet of cigarettes
I went to Stroud road garage in gloucester and bought a packet of 19 cigarettes completely unopened and sealed got home and theres only 18 in here, i want a full refund to my address or I'm going to take it to court as I've been ripped of for my money and I'm not happy one bit the shop couldn't do anything and said I'd have to contact you this has caused me mass if inconvience as I had to go out and buy another packet of Lambert and butler cigarettes elsewhere very unhappy with the way I've been treated and ripped off for my money
lambert and butler silver 200
I recently purchased this packet of cigarettes from a store in Benidorm expendeduria 10 David v . Sellers Alfardo were it said upon purchase you would receive a free personalised lighter we purchased the cigarettes and the till attendant said the lambert and butler wasn't there so to keep a hold of my receipt and call back as upon calling back later your rep wasn't very helpful at all she was very rude and unhelpful so we didn't receive the lighter and will not be recommending this store
broken cigarettes.
I purchased a pack of 20 lambert and butler today from Morrisons in Fishponds Bristol.
upon opening the cigarettes I noticed that four of them were broken/snapped at the bottom and considering how expensive they are I just don't expect to be left with 16 cigarettes rather than the 20 I paid for.
I purchase a pack of 20 and never had a problem but this is just very disappointing.
I look forward to your reply
Thank you

l&b real blue superkings
To whom it may concern, I have been a l&b silver customer for over 20 years and recently last 2 years, I moved to the real blue superkings and last 2 weeks I have been unhappy about the state of your cigarettes which burns too quickly as theres tobacco out of the cigarettes an going through them quicker than normal. Yous seem to be slacking since the change over in government policys.
lambert and butler blues. packet of 20
i bought the above ciggerettes from yourselves 2 days ago. i had noticed some loose tobacco in the pocket of where i keep my ciggies but thought nothing of it- until today.
This morning i took my pack of ciggerettes with me and when i went to smoke one the first 3rd pf thd ciggy disapeared upon being lit. when i loooked inside the box 8 out 9 remaing ciggies had the tobacco fall out in to the box causing the ciggerettes to smoke with in 5 drags due to how loose the tobacco in tht ciggy has now become.
i do not expect poor quality such as this and would like recompense for this.
Thankyou

lambert and butler silver
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to tell you how disappointed I am with your cigarettes recently. I have chosen to smoke lambert and butler silver for many years now and the past few packets I have bought have had half of the tabaccoo missing. I have photographic evidence to support this if you wish for me to send you this. This has made me question wether to continue to buy your products or to switch to a different brand. Atleast half the cigarettes in this packet were the same and in the end there was only half a cigarette to smoke! And with them now reaching to over £9 a packet I find this quite upsetting! You can contact me on rachel.[protected]@nhs.net.

lambert and butler superkings smooth
I have purchased this particular brand of cigarette since it became available for purchase within the market. Since recent packing changes I have discovered the taste is no longer the same as the cigarettes were before the packing change. I am hereby left with no alternative but to purchase a new brand of cigarettes as a result of this.
Could you please confirm wetter changes have been made to the actual cigarettes themselves?

packet of cigarettes that had the tips empty. poor quality
hi, I purchased a packet of Lambert and butler original silver from the shell garage at seafield Edinburgh, Scotland last night and Ian hugely disappointed with the quality of these cigarettes. every cigarette apart from 2 is missing a little bit of tobacco so when you light up a cigarette it burns down very quickly and was not nice.
I have smoked Albert and butler cigarettes since I was 16 and never wanted to smoke and other type as I don't like the taste of any others however if i get 1 more packet like this one i will be changing my brand and you will lose a customer. i would appreciate some sort of feedback or compensation for this or I will quit smoking l&b. i hope to hear back soon. I could send a photo if you wanted proof of this.
regards, William Ormond

original silver
I'm writing to show my dissatisfaction in the packet I have just opened, the pack is full of loose tobacco...probably a whole cigarettes worth or two in the bottom of the packet. It looks like an amount of tobacco has dropped out the end of most of the packets cigarettes. Really really disappointed as this I the only brand I buy and have ever purchased. Truly feel let down by a brand I felt I could trust
lambert and lambert blue 19s
Purchased the new lambert and butler blue range which is now out over my usual lambert and butler. I opened the packet and the first one I pulled out and smoked was fine. Upon getting the second from the packet the insides fell out and proceeded to do so for the next seven cigarettes. I will not be purchasing this type of lambert and butler again as I rather pay extra and get the right amount I paid for.
lambert and butler smooth gold
Can you exlain to me: the retailers say just the packaging has changed but the filter is much long and leave a bitter after taste after smoking the originals packs were not like this also many times when the cigarette comes to the end the lighted ash falls off and has burnt my table, my laptop and the floor! this surely is a heath hazard! i wont be buying ur cigarrettes anymore when i cant buy the originals. Bad on your company
gold smooth/pure gold
Reduced amount of tobacco in ciggertte by increasing size of filter. I'm sure they are defrauding the government bu doing this as we are taxed on amount of tabacco in a cig have lambert and butler disclosed this to the government ( I doubt it) as the cigs would then be slightly cheaper. They taste different and the filters are massive. They only thing the government wanted changed was the packet design so why are you ripping of loyal customers that have smoked your brand for years. I will be changing brand unless this changes soon. Can I also say that I have had the odd packet that has normal filter size so what the heck is going on?
longer filter, less content and bad flavour. l&b gold no more.
I have recently come across this problem. I am a Lambert Gold-Mild-Smooth-Bright Gold. (As they have tried to re-label it) But since the new black pack has been introduced, some of which have quite suspect photos on them.. They taste totally different. Not only does it not state the Tar or Nicotine content in the cigarettes on the packet, but the cigarette which is 83mm long has a filter of 3.3mm in length, compared to the same filter length on the original/blue cigarettes, as shown in the photo attached. Visions of 'The Fifth Element' spring to mind. But after smoking these new black (ridiculously packaged, poorly made, uninformative, bad tasting cigarettes) I'm seriously thinking of swapping brands. These Bright Gold are badly made, they taste like Camels or some really bad fake cigarettes you'd buy for £2 a pack on the continent, and also taste stronger than the original L&B blue/silver/original whatever you wanna call it!.
I am stuck with 4 packs of bright gold, I have tried them for the last 3 weeks, and I will not be buying anymore, unless I know there is another mild option available from L&B. I have smoked L&B mild/gold for the last 16 years, and I know something is seriously wrong, because these new 'crapsticks' make my mouth feel like I've just chewed and swallowed wire wool.
Seriously, tell us this is just a bad experiment...
lambert and butler silver 40 pack
Hi,
I bought a 40 pack of lambert and butler silver from a tesco express store in newcastle and when I opened the and started to smoke them I found the filters loose and the paper not stuck properly. I was unable to enjoy them and made for a very disappointing smoke.
I have smoke l&b for years and I must admit I have not had this problem before. But with the cost of cigarettes I would like a refund or request replacement.
lambert and butler blue
I know cigarettes are full of crap and give you cancer but it's my choice to smoke them knowing this information so that's my own fault, however when I pulled a cigarette out of the packet and a lump of rubber falls out of the cigarette that is your problem, on closer inspection I know that this bit of rubber is made of a tennis ball as I can see the unique colour green fuzz attached to it, as I have previously stated it is my choice to smoke but I choose to smoke tobacco not a chopped up tennis ball that is obviously being used to 'bulk up' the cigarette. I want an inquiry as to why this has happened please.
Please can you tell me the nicotine content for bright blue compared to real blue? I need to go lighter then real blue but want to know if bright blue is milder! Thank you
Lambert and Butler are letting consumers down badly. Most smokers are aware of the packaging changing to the black instead of blue .They as a company are fully aware that smokers will notice a change in taste!
Changing the tobacco as they so obviously have, is under handed and quite frankly a swindle.
All smokers know when an inferior tobacco is substituted in their cigarette choice.
several of my associates are changing brands due to the fact they feel cheated!
The revenue you rake in from sales is immense !It is understandable that having to change packaging will cost however, to reimburse your company's profits by using what tastes like cheap second rate cigarettes is despicable!
The super King Blues are a rip off too...larger filters and bitter tasting tobacco, this particular cigarette was a smooth tasting smoke.
Both your king size blue and super King blue leave a nasty after taste and when inhaled it hurts the throat.
Cigarettes prices once again will be hiked in this years budget...I believe if your company continue to treat your consumers in this way and you try to hoodwink them into believing your giving value for money ...think on.
I have heard complaints in supermarket queues regarding your products on lots of occasions and if this situation isn't rectified very soon you will be losing many of your loyal customers...
You had a fabulous reputation as a company please put it right as in all fairness what you're doing is so wrong
tobacco in lambert and butler
I have smoked Lambert and Butler for many years, I see the package has changed from silver to the Black for all cigarettes. I purchased out of several shops the silver that was still in stock, however, there is a definite change in the tobacco between silver and the black, maybe you can explain this as I have lost over £100 in cash while buying the silver that I was previously buying and now it has changed. It does not state on the packet of the change So much of a change that I was convinced the cigarettes silver that I was purchasing tasted similar to imported brand that a friend had let me try, they taste similar to a cheap brand. I hope you can explain why the silver PK of cigarettes taste weak
Kindest Regards
Marion
Hi I normally smoke lambert and butler blue king size and purchased the black packet today.
They taste completely different and I don't think the strength is the same but there is no way of checking as the new packets don't state this. Can't carry on smoking these though as they are a lot milder to my normal blue ones.
Thought it was just me but after reading your comments realise it's not just me that has a problem with these new cigarettes.
I have recently come across this problem also. I am a Lambert Gold-Mild-Smooth-Bright Gold. (As they have tried to re-label it) But as Marion has also stated, since the new black pack, some with photos of apparent throat cancer victims that look nothing like it.. They taste totally different. Not only does it not state the Tar or Nicotine content in the cigarettes on the packet, but the cigarette which is 83mm long has a filter of 3.3mm in length. Visions of 'The Fifth Element' spring to mind. But after smoking these new black (ridiculously packaged, poorly made, uninformative, bad tasting cigarettes) I'm seriously thinking of swapping brands. richmond superkings
I notice that you have changed the packaging and now have 20 in as well. I use to smoke Richmond Superkings which where in a blue packet. I buy them at Asda Metro Centre. The new pack have Richmond superkings blue and are now in a dark black/grey package. These are certainly a different type of cigarette and I certainly have a cough since using this new packet. Can you tell me if they are the same cigarettes or can you still get the Richmond Superkings blue packet. I called into another Asda store and they are still selling the blue packets. But Asda at Metro Centre have told me that the dark black/grey packets are the ones you have replaced them with. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you. Mrs Sheila Whitfield
I have found the same the quality has drastically changed in the new packaging I am not happy with them at all they taste horrible and hurt my throat. Bad customer service changing the formula without alerting your loyal consumers.
lambert and butler blue
I'm very disappointed in your product. The last few packs I've purchased have been under par. When smoking the end falls off unexplained and on a few occasions when I've taken a cigarette out of box all the tobacco has fallen out making it unsmoksble. I have smoked your product for years now and am finding the quality of the cigarettes slipping, at least 3 of a pack are not worth smoking
lambert and butler bright gold
I've been to my local shop this morning to buy 20 lambert and butler gold which are the light versions. I was given lambert and butler light gold to find they are all filter and not the lambert and butler gold I usually smoke. This is a disgrace for how much these cigarettes cost. They are not lambert and butler gold so I will now stop buying your brand if this is not resolved.
