My spouse and I purchased kitchen appliances on March 11 2017 and picked them up a few weeks later. Since we were currently renovating our kitchen we kept the appliances in storage. This past weekend it was time to put our appliances into their spots although the fridge fits in the spot the one door does not open. When purchasing the fridge the representative that helped us was advised that our fridge is up against a wall on the one side and we wanted to make sure the doors would open he reassured us that it was a true 36 but we discovered that it is more like a 38 with the doors opened. We are devastated that the fridge is not functional. We figured that Leon's would help us out in this time of need and work with us to exchange the item even if we had to pay a restocking fee we have visited the Saskatoon Leon's location since it has opened and made many many purchases. We are labeled as VIP customers. Please consider helping us exchange the fridge for one that will fit and function properly
mattress
I have fibromyalgia and am a side sleeper. I have with the aid of LEONS head office did exchange the mattress. The manufacturer rep came over to inspect the mattress at my house and stared it was defective. I went back to Leon's in Mississauga and wanted to exchange the mattress. The rep said I should by the same mattress again. Manufacture rep stated this mattress is not for side sleepers. It's meant only for back sleepers. So why was I pushed to buying the same mattress again. I can not go around exchanging mattresses. LEONS should address the customers medical issue. Not just brush them off. I don't want to buy any mattresses from LEONS anymore. I want a full refund of the mattress and any delivery charge.
I have called the store and spoke to Reema, she said the manager said the mattress can not be exchanged. I strongly feel I was sold the wrong mattress. The 1st one was defective as per manufacturer rep doing an in home visit. 2nd mattress which is the same as previous, as per manufacturer is not for SIDE SLEEPERS. Does not help with side sleepers. I want a full refund for the sales reps obviously didn't care of my medical issue and overlooked more then twice that I am a side sleeper. Thank you and I hope I can get a full refund from LEONS for selling the defective mattress and then same Mattress again which obviously is not for my medical issue.

On May 6th my wife and I went to Leon's at the 947 Wharncliffe Road location in London Ontario. We were looking for a king matress and possibly a queen as well. There was a sales promotion of 12 months interest free delayed payments along with promotional gifts tied to clip levels, the higher the amount purchased the hight the gift value. We bought $2217.06 on two mattresses and two mattress covers. The sales agent said we would get a valued gift of $179.00 that being a set of King sheets and two pillows. When these 'gifts' were shown to us the sheets were 'flannel' ! To which I said to the sales agent, your giving me flannel sheets at the start of summer, to which you also said to me "do you (myself and my wife) sweat? If so we should but mattress covers (if we don't have them) so as to not void the mattress warranty! When I pointed this out to the sales agent found it incredibly funny due to the irony. I then pointed out to him that these sheets have a Winter motif to them and its only May. I told him that this promotion was of 'no value' to us whatsoever! I asked him to go get the sales manager so that I could speak to him directly, which the sales agent did. The sales agent returned by himself saying the manager has approved me getting a choice of two other gifts, a 7 inch Samsung tablet, a $125.00 value or an Expresso coffee maker which was a $99.00 value. I asked the sales agent why didn't the sales manager come out to see me to which he had no answer! I took the Expresso maker albeit in disgust, after paying $2217.06 via debt (cash). When I asked the agent when I came back to buy a second mattress if I could have a higher valued gift given that I was spending an additional $761.62 he said "sorry we can't do that". I would point out that I saw this coffee maker at Wal-Mart for $50 (on clearance) where the coffee cups will no longer be sold. After looking for other retailers of Martello expresso cups I have found none! We now have a expresso maker for which we have no coffee, nice ending to our first ever Leon's experience.
Here are the pertinent facts as a customer back to Leon's Executive in charge of customer complaints and relations. I did not use any of the payment promotions and paid Leon's $2217.06 in cash which was a total for two separate purchases. On the first purchase of $1455.44 I received a $99 gift instead of the $179 'advertised' amount per the flyer and received nothing on a combined additional purchase of $2217.06. Leon's must think that their clientèle are pretty stupid people? Obviously a gift of flannel sheets in May with a Winter motif is nothing less than insulting.
My question to Mr. Terrence Thomas Leon is this, after such a meaningless and deceptive promotion, why after this experience would we ever shop at or recommend Leon's to anyone? I'd love to hear the answer to this question. And there is a very real and pertinent answer. Its that Leon's took this complaint and the experience seriously by addressing the matter in a manner that showed the customer respect and value for their patronage.

I purchased a complete kitchen package from the Peterborough store. I spent money on the warranty and I've had nothing but a run around since day 1.
The Samsung dishwasher I purchased kept just filling with water and not doing anything else. I told them about a month after buying it and they told me there was nothing they could do.
They told me to wait until the warranty hits over a year so they could take care of it.
Ken the manager of the section has been very unhelpful never returns calls and if he does nothing ever gets done about the issue.
The dishwasher takes 7 tries for it to semi clean the dishes.
We called to find out today what's going on and we were told now it's only covered 70% and it's a prorated amount.. this is completely unacceptable. This was NEVER disclosed.
I want this fixed

I ordered furniture in March I did the order in Saskatoon store they transferred the sale to Prince Albert SK because Saskatoon don't deliver I was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery and finally getting it delivered today had nothing but a run around with them first I was told they were waiting on the bed, then the next time I called to see what was going on I was told I had only a mattress there I told her they said it was all there except the bed then she goes on to tell me a salesman sold my furniture I said why would he sell it when the stuff I ordered was not in there store that is why I ordered from Saskatoon so the manager calls me the next day and tells me the stuff was never ordered I go on to tell him I was told it was all there except the bed he said didn't know now I could of been told that so I told him I was in the store to make a payment and the lady read it off the computer he goes on to tell me the lady looking after the order quit so he gets the order in so again I ask about the order told waiting on bed so I told them send whatever is there out so today is deliver day they call to confirm but said they now waiting on the table set so again I tell her it was all there except the bed she said no but goes on to tell me the girl that told me that they had to let go so it has been nothing but a run around and lies when I phone there sounds to me there line is the quit or they let that person go no discount for all the B S I had to go through.

Today I went to store to give my balance payment of 2000$. I gave the payment then asked the cashier can I speak to the store manager, but the sales manager came, I told him about my situation and he said he can't do anything and I should speak to manufacturer and then I said can I speak to store manager he threatened me and asked me leave in 5 min in front all of the employees. It happened around 12.20 pm. Even when asked to other employees can you call the store manager, nobody helped me and I have to leave as he threatened to do something in 5 minutes. I am a Canadian citizen and we have right to go anywhere. He threatened my Canadian rights. He said this is not public property and he can do that. I am a VIP customer this is how you treat with your customer. Everything happened in front of the CCTV near the payment area. Your employees are the witnesses. Is my behaviour was aggressive or I am a thief or criminal, then why did he told me to leave the store in 5 min. I am following the procedures required to go the Ontario consumer court. This is not expected from a company like Leon where a customer spent around 9000k in 3 years time. Because of 1 employee you don't want your reputation to go bad in front of the residents of Canada .please do something in order to keep your customer happy and I want a apology from him in front of all employees the way he insulted me . I purchased a love seat and a sofa from Leons located on 2600 Queensview Dr. On March 24, 2017 when I purchased it I spoke to a sales person her name Michèle and I told her that I was looking for real leather she advised me to go with the one that I have now because it's 100% real leather. Recently permanent marker got on it and when I tried to clean it with the cleaning kit it came with the leather started to peel off. I called the store I asked for Michèle I told her that she furniture she sold me wasn't real leather she was surprised so she transferred me to customer survive to make a complaint there. Customer service gave me the leather care company phone number I called them but their closed on weekends. In conclusion I'm not satisfied with the product they offered me which wasn't real leather I really wished that they were more honest selling me this product because I was looking for real leather. i paid for extended warranty on my leather furniture, i was told that it would prolong the life of the sofa set, after 3 yrs the center started to sage, call about this, and i was told my warranty does not cover this, as this was a frame issue, and the warranty is not covered. so be it... then i called this weekend, because my little dog peed on the couch, i cleaned up the mess. But the smell is there. i called to ask if my warranty covers this, i was told yes by the store. i had to call there third party who would be able to help me. well i called to day, and i was told because there is no stain, and no proof that the dog peed on the couch they could not help me, well i sure as hell was not going to sit there and let the pee soak in to the furniture, of course i'm gonna clean it up. what is the point of buying extended warranty if Leons is not gonna honor it, and give you the runaround.

I bought leather sofa with extent protection plane.
Sales said me that every thing will be cover regarding leather.
Now after a year leather is peaking off like fake leather and on calling leons they said we can no do any thing it's by third party.
Third party is also saying it's not covered leons sales person lied to you.
I am going to consumer court regarding this as I have receipt and there is nothing written for zucora.
I paid leons and they have to take care of me.
I found that so many people have complain about leons protection and warranty.
I thinking to file complain in Consumer court again leons.

My husband and I purchased living room furniture from Leon's and were told the delivery would be 8 to 10 weeks. On the 8th week- we gave our existing furniture away and are sitting on lawn chairs!- I started to cal my sale person who we dealt with- to find out how much longer our order would be. We were told that she would be getting a notice as soon as it was being shipped and would notify us. On the 10th week we went into the store to find out where our order was- we were asked to speak to the manager who then informed us that there was a problem --as when they faxed our order in- the fax line was busy AND NO ONE CAUGHT THIS ERROR! --so in true fact our order was never placed. The manager then told us that because of this error he was in touch with the manufacturer and we were then promised that our order would be delivered in 2 weeks and we were compensated with some $$. The 2 weeks have passed and we get a phone call to say that they can not deliver as our items are not ready and it will be another week ? (promises-promises) We have had so many promises from this manager and sales person. Yes we could cancel but then to find other furniture and the time frame to wait for it to be ready- it is like starting all over again. so now we are going into week 13 and still no furniture! IF YOUR CAN NOT COMPLETE AN ORDER - THEN DON'T PROMISE YOU CAN. We are so disappointed - Purchasing new furniture is suppose to be a fun thing to do - signed --STILL WAITING.

I don't even have my couch and I hate the service! I was told to call the night before and confirm my delivery time as I had told them it has to be after I get home from work, they gave me a hard time, and now I want to cancel my order! I heard complaints before and I should have listened! The amount I pay for furniture you would think that the customer service would be better...

extended warranty
I bought the extended warranty as I was told my sofas are completely covered if anything happens to them. When something actually has happened. I'm told oh no. That's not covered. Your on your own and have to pay for the repairs. I spend over 3000 on two sofas. A bed. Mattress and two box springs. And now I'm on my own. I find this horrible service. My family and I always purchase our furniture from Leon's. And after this experience we will have to think a lot before buying anything from Leon's and will not be referring our family or friends to purchase anything from Leon's.

too many defective pieces
We have purchased several items from Leon's on 22nd April.

We have got delivered furniture from Leon's. We have found several pieces damaged as follow:
1) Dinning Table Top Portion
2) Queen size Bed: Headboard, Footboard, Wood rails.
Due to these above defective pieces, we are extremely disappointed. We are sleeping like on the floor. We couldn't able to assemble pieces.
We want you to either replace whole set or give us refund whole amount.
We are awaiting action to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

very poor customer service, regarding a warranty couch replacement/ repair
Back at the end of January 2017, I called the St. Catherine's store regarding a leather couch we purchased and still had warranty for. They informed me that a repair tech would call to set up an appointment time to check the problem. He called and came out on Feb.5/2017 at 1:30pm, at which time he said that they would replace the one side of a 2piece "L" shaped couch, and took some photos of the problem.He said it would be a couple of weeks to receive the couch. I never heard from them so I called March 2nd/2017, at which time I was told the part would be received at there warehouse that week. Again I never heard from the store so I called back March 21, and was told it was sent out to them that very day. Once again I called back on April 7th, and asked to speak to the customer service manager, a lady called Teresa. She informed me the part was in there warehouse and that the tech was to come out April 29th. He called and cancelled saying he had food poisoning and will re schedule. He was rescheduled for May 10th, but called me at 8:30 to tell me he hurt his knee and would not be able to come out this week, and that he was going on holiday the following week, and that I would be rescheduled. Please appreciate my frustration as this simple thing has been on going since the beginning of February. I have shopped at Leon's for about 40 years and I don't think I'll be spending my money there in the future. Very disappointed that the bigger they got the poorer customer service became.

I ordered a king size storage bed from Leon's and it was back ordered, which was fine. Finally, May 2nd, 2017, the bed came, and I sold my old one the day of the arrival. After it was delivered, my husband and I unpackaged the product and the left side of the headboard was severely damaged as well as a few minor scratches on the front of the headboard. One of the drawers was damaged as well.
I called customer service, and I was told the earliest they could do something was in 4 days. I am 32 weeks pregnant and I was forced to sleep on the floor because I had nowhere else to go.
Finally four days later, the bed is to be delivered. According to their policy, I was suppose to get a phone call a few hours ahead of time, indicating a delivery time slot. I had booked time off work and waited all day until about 1 pm. As I had stepped outside, I received a phone call that they were 2 minutes away. As I let myself in and came to open the front door, I was told my driver that somehow the headboard got damaged on the way here and they cannot deliver to me. The driver looked under the influence and smelt of weed. I went to Leon's in person as I was disappointed and angry. The customer service department suggested I take a look at the one piece they had in storage. I agreed. That too had chips and scratches on it. Their next solution was to choose another bed, however they only carried one option in the requirements I had. When I asked to issue a refund, they said first the product would be picked up and then 15 business days later, I would receive the refund. 3 days later they finally came to pick up the bed at 5 pm. My husband and I are still sleeping on the floor.
Their customer service is slow, and horrible. They do not offer any solutions that would help ease the problem at hand. I do not understand if they can take the payment immediately, why it cannot be refund immediately. Everything is done according to their convenience. They were willing to make no accommodations or place an urgency to have delivery made, or pick up made the same day or next. It was based on their convenience.

I'm Jungsoo Woo who bought few furnitures at your comany at March 9/2017.
And I waited the furniture 4-6 weeks, you promised the time, and passed the time.
But I didn't get any phone call about why delay delivery from your company.
So I called the store at April 20, and one lady told 2 furnitures are in store but the love seat is not there and I should wait more for 2-3 weeks.
So I feel a little bed. I wanna delivery the 2 furnitures at April 21, Sat and i hope to get the other one item as soon as possible when you receive from somewhere.
And then,
The furniture was delivered, but one sofa was broken back of sofa, so delivery man took a away again and dropped the one chair up at my house, but I found litter chip of leather. I wanna change the chair to new one doesn't have any problems.
I sent an email and I talked about manage of furniture.
One lady, customer teller, give optionsome. One is $ 170 discount or somebody comes to my house and repair or wait few weeks for new one.
But I could agree your company's management.
Because it' new one but I got the chair too late and has a chip,
Even it has repair warranty for 5 year.
And you guys didn't give any notice about delay delivery and you delivered broken one, so I have to wait one month from you promised date.
But your company didn't appropriate management and compensation.

Hi there,
I just had a really terrible guest experience that left a really bad taste in my mouth. Over the last month or so I have spent close to $1000 on furniture and decor for my new apartment. I know it doesn't seem like much but someone who works in retail, part time, that's a lot.
Today, while picking up a mattress my parents and I purchased last night. I wandered in with my mom & my two small dogs to pick up some throw pillows to add some finishing touches.
Many of the employees and customers came over to say hi and compliment our dogs. As I approached Danielle at the counter, she told me I had to pick up my dogs or they couldn't be in there. I told her that no one had said anything to me and I wasn't just going to pay and leave. She then, in a very unprofessional tone, told me that she's just telling me "that's what my manager told me, soooo". The rest of the transaction was VERY unpleasant. I asked my mom to wait outside with the dogs before we get in trouble. Danielle then, left me hanging as I tried to tell her the debit machine wasn't working. The gentleman at the register next to me had to step in and assist. As I was leaving she said, again, in a very sassy tone, "just so you know, if your dog urinates on anything you're paying for it." I looked at her and said that my mom has already gone outside but hope she had a better day.
Her professionalism was lacking and her attitude was absolutely horrible. I noticed on the way out that there was a Danielle who was associate of the month. And I truly hope it is not her. She has a very bad attitude and does not represent the brand very well.
I don't want anything as compensation. I want her to change her attitude if she wants to work in customer service. That's unacceptable and unprofessional.

Just to let you know the bed we saw in floor after set up we found its too high even our head touching roof and we have 2 years old baby and if falling from 3-4 feet height whats goibg to happen. I dont ask for refund I want another bed which is low profile . Rest of the money we could buy something else . That was our first purchase we just mooved our first house in meadowvale . I also ordered sofa and love seat which I cancelled because of it . If you guys resolve it I will definetly I would bought a lot products from your company . repair service extended warranty
I had called the extended warranty number and scheduled a repair man to come and fix my dryer because the drum wont move. I have an extended warranty and a repair man was scheduled to come between 12 and 4 today april 14th and he never showed up! I am very very very angry! We did not get a phone call or anything, the repair man just didn't show up. The is terrible customer service and my dryer still doesn't work. I need a call back from someone in regards to this from leons. There are 2 kids and 5 adults that depend on my dryer for dry cloths.

I purchased furniture in November / December of 2015. The furniture took forever and when I finally received it the chair was destroyed in shipping. So, I decided on different furniture, which I received early February 2016. That furniture was full of defects and had to be exchanged in March 2016. I did not return the chair as it was ok at the time. I called in March 22, 2017 and spoke with Chris. I explained that we had spoken the year before in regards to the defects in my first set of furniture. I explained to him that the same issue with this set as the previous set but 10 times worse. He asked that I send pictures to Brenda or Danielle at the store. I sent the pictures March 23rd @ 8:37am. I heard back from Brenda April 4, 2017 stating she just sent the pictures to the manufacture 13 days later? On April 11 2017, I followed up with Brenda via phone @ 11:17am. She stated that she heard back from the manufacture and she had to speak to the general manager and that he was in @ 12pm. I said that does not sound good? She said no it is not that's why I want to speak to my manager. She then assured me that she would call me back as soon as she spoke with him. It is now April 12, 2017 10:45am and I have yet to hear back on anything. I have never received such poor customer service in my life. I work in customer service and I myself would never treat a customer as a brush off, nor would my employees ever treat someone in this manor. They would no longer have a position in my business. I believe on your web site it states "Canada's most highly respected retailers", " Leon's continues to sell high quality brand name furniture", " Leon's take great pride in its after sale service, and relies on the professionalism and support of thousands of associates across Canada", "Leon's award-winning advertising provides our customers with all the information needed to make a thoughtful and satisfying purchase", "The reputation of Leon's as an honest, reputable retailer who provided quality merchandise at low prices became more and more ingrained in the minds of customers" So are you now telling me that your website and company are all just a fraud? I believe I work very hard to acquire the beautiful furniture in my home. I also feel that when this furniture has issues the billion-dollar company it came from would kindly replace it, considering its the same defect as the previous furniture. I am so at a loss for words at this point. (hard to believe) If I do not receive compensation for this expensive merchandise, I will have no choice but go to the media in regards to the type of business you state you run, and exactly how it is run. I do have many pictures but it states that the file is to large.
