King bed and mattress
We bought King Bed and King Mattress from Leon's on Nov, 06, and Both Bed and Mattress were delivered on Nov 22, 2022. The Mattress size is less and it's not fitting properly on the Bed, leaving 2 & 1/2"on one side and 1-1/2" on other side, it looks ugly and its dangerous as we can hit to Bed on either side while going out of bed especially in the night when we are sleeping as edges are outside the Mattress. Order Number:11062HMTWQJ, KHANM17987, SALES PERSON, CARLA G.
At the purchase time no one told that there is any difference between the sizes of Mattress and Bed, now they are telling its normal and its for for the sheets and comforter.

I am emailing you regarding the technician that came out to your home. He has stated that the mattress is indeed equal on all sides. As we did state there will be a couple inches of space between the bedframe and mattress for the sheets and comforter. Unfortunately, because of this, we cannot take back the mattress as it is not a defect.
The technician also mentioned that there is a stain on the top right corner. This stain will void your warranty until it is cleaned.
Desired outcome: We need the Mattress to be changed and provided to us as per the King Bed Size.
Electric dryer
Leons is best franchise in canada but that franchise.i bought dryer from Leons chatham. Since the delivered my dryer is not working I call them request them so many time please help me they give me number call that technician I call after that they not give me any response. Call at store many times they said if is any technical issue we are not responsible .how is that possible store is not responsible. Batter they need to close the door of the store. Mangers is not cooperative with customer I told him give me new one I will pay you different but he said no we are not responsible. I think you guys need to responsible for your self not for store. they steal my money $700 which not fair at all .
Please chatham public be aware from leaon store .
Prefer other stores which canadian appliances they have good service and cooperative staff .I drop my dryer in store I know they can claim from Vander . But they are not ready to cooperate with me leaon give my money back.or since yesterday they are not give me any response.

Terrible service - never purchase from leons
I purchased a mattress, washing machine and dryer from Leons in Mississauga on Britannia Road. When we were at Leons the sales person JD and the manager Ahmed promised that they would follow-up to see if there were any price changes. JD personally in the presence of his manager made these promises and they both agreed. They also checked to see that the washing machine and dryers were in stock and agreed to deliver the machines within a week on a Saturday. We never received a call until Friday evening, we called JD in a very nostalgic tone advised the machines are not available they will deliver after a week. Which was not acceptable to us. After a battle we go the machines delivered on a Sunday.
We then called at the end of Aug and Sept to see if there were any chances to the price - neither JD not the Customer Service took details never called us back. Now they indicate that it is the clients responsibility to check to see for price changes the 20% on the mattress and they cannot give us the NO TAX event on the appliances as the sale started on the 24th and it is the customer's responsibility.
I'm looking for compensation as they made us fight to get the appliances delivered on time as they gave it to a client who paid them more and they never return calls. It is a matter of a day but they are refusing ignoring that their staff took the compensation for the sale but never delivered. This is the second time they gave away an item purchased. The last time was a sofa - their sales people over promise to get compensated.
This is not good business practice but harassment of a customer and not delivering to their promises.
We look forward to a solution and hoping Ahmed will call us back
Desired outcome: I want the 20% discount plus the reduced rate on the mattress as well as the NO TAX on the appliances
Furniture delivery
Saturday, November 12, 11:35 am. I had a couch delivered. KThe delivery guys were quick and professionsl. Then the delivery guy told me I had to install the legs myself. He asked me if I had a drill and I don't. There are no predrilled holes on these legs. I called customer service and she said someone would come out in 2-3 days! She said I could use it until then. I asked her what about the staples that are on the underside of couches and my floor and she was not concerned. I am a senior with hand issues. There is no way that I can do this with a screwdriver and I am not possibly damaging my floor with the couch without legs on it. Why don't the drivers carry a drill? They would have had it done in a minute or two. The sales lady should have told me and I would have made arrangements for someone to help me put together the rest of my couch.
Desired outcome: Come and put on the legs today
Power reclining couch
Purchase a power recliner from Brockville Leon’s in Jan.Since then the mechanism needs changing and the supposed leather material is starting to peel.We have been waiting for months for repairs.The unit should e replaced but Leon’s keeps stalling saying the can’t get a response from the manufacturer and they don’t know when they can get the parts to repair as they come from china.
I feel I have dealt with Leon’s and shouldn’t have to wait for the manufacturer to make a decision.
Leon’s obviously doesn’t care about good customer service.
Desired outcome: Exchange the faulty product for something else or give us our money back we are still within the warranty period.
Delivery of mattress promised in 6 to 8 weeks
I purchashed a mattress on the 17 th of august. Told it was going to be sent out from ontario. Mid october I contacted service and was told it was being shiped out of western usa. It has been nearly 3 months and not once was I updated by sales or service staff. I will be returning to leons for a full refund. Hopefuly to purchase needed merchandise at other businesses.

Amelia sofa
Hello,
I purchased this sofa on 5th October 2022 and it was delivered on 13th October 2022. The sofa is bigger than I expected and is not suitable for the amount of space in my house.
I called them and asked if it can be returned or exchanged, but they declined to either of these two options. They say all sales are final and cannot be returned.
My only expectation is to make value of my own money and purchase a sofa of my choice.
Please help me with an option to purchase a smaller sofa or else give me a memo which can be redeemed later.

Did not deliver my dining set even after 5 months
I purchased and paid for a Dining set from Leons Calgary at the beginning of May 2022. The sales rep said it will be delivered in the first week of August. August ended, September also ended and there's been no clarity from Leons on when our item will be delivered. We called in August they said they'd call back but never did. We called again and they said they'd deliver by 1st week of October. We called in September to confirm delivery and they said they'll call us back - never did. We called again in the first week of October and now they are saying delivery is going to be November. This must be a joke! I am so upset at the ridiculousness. Don't ever buy anything from this people.
Desired outcome: I want my item delivered in the first week of October or my money refunded with good interest to make up for inflation as it will likely cost me more now to but another table than it would have if I did 5 months ago.
Couch
We purchased a couch not to long ago and there is a defect that has caused damage to our new floor that was recently done. There is a screw that holds the feet on that apparently was not screw-in proper. When we moved the couch to clean under it it had come to our attention that the screw has damaged our new floor. It is very upsetting and I would like to know what can be done about this
Broken Chair received
84 year old mother wanted a new chair, after much research and shopping she finally found one she likes. Waited patiently upon its arrival, when it was delivered it came broken, even the delivery people said “call it in, they took picture we took picture , filled out all the proper paperwork, my mom did not want a fixed chair, we paid for a new chair she simply wanted a new one, the lady on the phone told us it was procedure to have the chair looked at by the repair guy, he came and fixed it, however when he placed the chair right side up he placed it on top of moms oxygen hose, she did not notice until he left, this caused my mom to try to free herself, but she lost her balance, fell broke her wrist, hit her head and twist her back, now she dose not want this chair at all, I have called the store twice now asking to talk to a manager and nobody ever calls me back, we would like the chair picked up and a refund.

Leather sofa and 2 recliners
Purchased 2 years ago. Only sat on 1 year as we are away 6 months of the year. The delivery guys broke the couch moving it in. 2x4 underneath was broke right in half. That was repaired. Leather is peeling and stitching is unravelling. It’s absolute garbage and the electrical is now not working on one end of the sofa. It has been looked at by a Zucora rep and we halted the fix as they can’t guarantee the fix as it will keep peeling beyond fix.
Customer service was absolutely useless. Been a customer for 40 years and I will never purchase another thing from Leon’s ever again. So disappointed plus the fact I spent 8000 bucks. I understand the warranty is up but furniture should last longer.
Desired outcome: I want the sofa replaced!!
LG LFXC24796S/01 Refrigerator
We purchased this refrigerator in February 2019 and delivered April 2019. Come home on July 31st, 2022 to melted butter, cheese, and everything in the refrigerator heated up to approximately 90F. It also melted everything in the freezer and all the water ran out of the icemaker down the refrigerator and swelled the boards on the hardwood floor and ruined the cupboard beside the fridge. We lost approximately $650 worth of food and now we have property damage. Needless to say, we purchased extended warranty for why after everything we have been through in the past week. The extended warranty does not cover the spoiled food, property damage and then we paid $630 in labor to replace the compressor. LG tells me they pay for the part not the labor. DO NOT purchase appliances or extended warranty from LEON'S! They tell me if we would have purchased it from The Brick it would have all been covered! WOW!
The funny part of all this is who owns The Brick - Leon's!
Zahid. Manager at Whitby store
I purchased a love seat at the Whitby store. At the time of purchase I was told it was in stock. When I called to have it delivered, was told it is not in stock. Went to the store. Spoke to salesperson who apologized. I asked her if I could get the floor model delivered. The manager came to speak to me. Zahid told me that I could borrow a piece of furniture until mine came in. This man then told off his employee in front of us. I told him it was a mistake and not to blame her. Zahid then changed his mind about a loaner and said I couldn't have the floor model loveseat that I purchased but I could buy a floor model for a better price. When my friend told Zahid that he was now lying to me, the manager got very upset and started yelling. I then asked for my money back. Zahid embarrassed his employee in front of customers, was very rude to us. Never apologized to us, blamed the salesperson.
Desired outcome: I would like to know the salesperson wasn't fired. Zahid needs some training in customer relations.

The stove was delivered on July 7 /2022 We were unable to use it due to our kitchen being reno. When we finally got the kitchen done and had the stove installed the stove did not work. We contacted Leon's and they told us to contact Frigidaire company which we did. They sent out a service tech and the service tech said the circuit board are gone and it was DEAD on ARRIVAL. so we called Leon's back and they said they will fix it but not replace it because I was not aware or told of their 3 day return policy and could not check the stove due to reno's of my home being done when the stove was delivered. We called back the Frigidaire company and they told us because Leon's only has a 3 Day Policy that they will only fix it not replace it unless it breaks down again. This is uncalled for after spending $1,600 after taxes for the stove and over $3000 in appliances at Leon's. Its now been 2 weeks without a working stove which was delivered BROKEN. Leon's you need to replace this stove this is bad business the stove needs to be replaced or REFUNDED and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and putting in a complaint.
Desired outcome: Replace for NEW STOVE.
Maytag washing machine/ Television
We have shopped at Leon's for years. We have spent a lot of money there. We purchased a refrigerator and stove, washer, dryer, tv, living room set. To say the least they have received a fair amount of money from us. We always purchase the warranty to make sure we are covered in case there is any issues with the products.
Moving forward to this year, We purchased three years ago, our washer, dryer and tv at the same time. A few months ago we had a problem with the tv. We called the warranty company and we were told that a technician would be out in a few days. When the technician arrived and checked the tv he said he could fix it no problem but he would have to take it to the shop to fix it. He said it would only take a couple of days but don't be surprised if it is gone for a few weeks. We contacted King and State warranty company again and were told that there was nothing they could do and we would have to wait. Days went by and we heard nothing, we called again and were told they have not heard from the technician yet. Since time was going by we decided to purchase another tv in the mean time. After about two weeks we finally heard back and were told they could not fix the tv and they would issue us a store credit. We only received $340.00 towards purchasing a new tv and we only have 30 days to use the store credit.
Moving forward about two weeks our washing machine quit. Again we contacted the warranty company. We had to wait 5 business days to have a technician come to fix the washer. Needless to say he was here for about 15 minutes. He told us that the washer just needed to be recalibrated and he could do that from his cell phone. Within one hour of him leaving the washer again did not work. Yet again we call the warranty company and again we have to wait an additional 7 days for another technician to come. At this point the frustration we felt was insane. I do not know about everyone else but I cannot afford to go to the laundry mat 2-3 times a week at about $30.00 each time to do laundry when I just purchased a new washer just three years ago with a full warranty. ( Gold member and Diamond member )
We went to Leon's to speak directly to a manager, which of course was on lunch. The lady behind the desk proceeded to tell us they could do nothing to help us, it is up to the warranty company not Leon's itself. They have nothing to do with this. Upon hearing this we were extremely upset, I told the lady that we were not leaving until the situation was solved.
We were there for two hours while the lady tried to contact the warranty company. In those two hours she could not speak to anyone at the warranty company. The lady proceeded to tell me there was nothing else she could do and that she would try again tomorrow. I demanded to speak to someone else, she then walked over to another lady sitting at a desk and was explaining the situation. Now this second lady was sitting there for a good hour, and guess what - she was the manager! Not once did she get up to help or address the problem that whole time.
She finally came over to speak to me only to tell me that she would have to send a email to head office and have them address the problem. Of course because it was so late in the day she would probably not get a response until the next day. She stated that she would contact me either way the next day to let me know what head office will do. Now here we are today is the day and guess what...I did not hear from them at all. I called there to find out what was happening. I was told that head office will not do anything to help me until after the technician comes in 7 days and see what he says.
This is when I took to the internet to look up information to put in a complaint. Of course there is no phone number only this complaint form. I will not let this go...Leon's state they stand behind there products, well now we now that is not true.
Desired outcome: We want our washer fixed now, not two weeks from now. Or we want a new washer. As for the store credit for a tv I no longer need, the time frame should be extended to 6 months not 30 days.
Washer and Dryer
I just received the item an hour ago and notice the front load type is too big for the laundry area. The delivery guy recommended a top load type for that specific area. I just contacted Leon's in Richmond branch for my concerned and there not interested in returning the items or asking for 50% docking fee or something. I'm interested to exchange the item but paying 50% of the price is so excessive beside when I purchased the product I showed the measurement of my laundry area but instead the sales person is so persuasive to gave me other brand and type with a good deal and explaining extended warranty can go no wrong. Now, Its a big mistake.

In October of 2021 I purchased a living room set, couch, chair and ottoman. I was told at the time of purchase that there was no room for a price negotiation. A week after I paid the full amount the set went on sale. I contacted customer service and was approved to receive a $500 credit. I was also told on the day of purchase by salesman Martin, that there was a supply chain delay but there was a good chance I could receive it by Christmas. The set was not delivered until February. When it finally arrived there was an issue with assembling one of the legs on the ottoman. I was cracked and would not secure tightly. I phoned the store and was offered an option of reducing the price and receiving another credit or to order a new ottoman. Since the ottoman could not be repaired properly without noticeable adjustments I chose to receive another ottoman. I waited and phoned several times over the weeks between mid February 2022 - June 2022. The replacement ottoman was received on July 14, 2022. HOWEVER, there was no screws provided to attach the legs to the ottoman. So, today I am still without a fully functional ottoman and it has been nine months since the payment for this set was processed. I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received from the salesman. No follow up calls were made by him. Now, I have to be out of pocket again to get the necessary hardware to assemble the ottoman. I have purchased furniture from Leon's several times. This is my second living room set, a complete bedroom set including mattress and box spring, a 55 inch Sony television, as well as a recliner. It is a disgrace and an embarrassment to me and I will never recommend to anyone to purchase from Leon's. Take me off your VIP list because if this is how VIPS are treated, I would rather not be one.

Leon's doesn't have quality at all
Refrigerator didn't fit and when trying to get one to fit the salesman and management where horrible unbelievable bad service
Purchased a refrigerator from a really good young man that is a amazing at his job.
When he was to there to help me was lefted to the help of other salesman who didn't want to help because of the first salesman who by the way could teach the other lazy salesman.
Was told they couldn't find me a refrigerator that would fit. And if they could it would take 3 to 6 months to get it.
When I went back again for help asked about first salesman who was great. was told wasn't in. And well waiting could hear the others salesmen making fun of the good sales man.
Went the manager I was told she was manager told her what was going on she listen. When I went back to get my money back because Home depot to see about a refrigerator guess what they had more then 6 different choices and could deliver in 2 weeks.
Your Leon's store guve money back but was charged 15 percent for not taking the refrigerator that didn't fit. I was also could believe how your management treated me going call police and security guard for us. believe me I will never shop there again. oh by the way the reason for the other sales people not helping me was because of me saying who the first good salesman was.. Maybe if the got off your lazy boy chair and do a job the would be as great as the first salesman was. what a Horrible place to shop. But with [censored]ting management what else could anyone expect

Range and Washer Dryer Customer Service
Back in Jan, 2022 I purchased a stove. They delivered and it was not leveled and they just left it like that. I had to pay extra money for someone to come and fix the stove leg so that it was not wobbly. I spoke with manager Usha at 20 Melvin Ave location and she is rude and does not care about customer complaints
Recently I bought washer and dryer. I paid for the installation as well I let the sales person know that I don't have much space and if they can install everything he said ok ok. Later I found out that the delivery people cannot install and my washer and dryer cannot be stacked. I was transferred to different places and no one answered the phone. Then I finally I was able to get hold of the manager. When I tried to explain she was quite rude. She did not even acknowledge that I was being transferred and no one answering the phone. She did however try to get the installation done same week
Then on delivery day which was suppose to be 12-5. The guys call me at 10:30 and said if they can come now and I was out. I said I was given time for 12-5. He said he can come now or between 12-5. My husband waited until 5 and they were not here yet. They did not come until after 5:30.
I would NOT RECOMMEND LEON’S TO BUY ANYHTING. They hire the sales people who only care about commission and managers who don’t know how to speak with customers. Their service I give a 1 out of 10 but they are very nice until you make a purchase
