I received a specials email from Leroy Merlin. An inverter generator caught my eye, paid online received confirmation. It is bad customer service not to honor my order. I just read on social media that Chris told another client you have been hacked and I received a sms saying it was a system error. Clearly some lies! I really do not see how it is my fault that the price was placed and advertised incorrectly. I paid and have confirmation. Now you cancelling my order just like that!
Desired outcome: I want my orders as per paid and confirmation received.

I received a specials email from leroy merlin, opened it saw some amazing specials. An inverter generator caught my eye, paid online received confirmation, went into store (greenstone) and was told that they were hacked by chris a department manager that was rude and started getting very arrogant when talking to me. Was told by chris that they will not honor my order and he will let me know the outcom and walked away without taking any detail from me. Was also told by another manager that the error was made by leroy merlin. Really do not see how it is my fault that the price was placed and advertised incorrectly. I paid and have confirmation.

I was picking up a new BBQ today (17 June 2022) from theLeroy Merlin located in Vicenza Torri di Quartesolo. The item was ready to be picked up however when the it was going to be placed on the trunk of my SUV, the lift hit my vehicle cause a slight bent of the back bumper. The worker realized what he did backed up finished the work and said "sorry" this is unacceptable behavior.

I purchased a Gas Boiler on the same day that it broke (at the end of April) as I urgently needed to provide my 6 and 4 year old daughter's with a warm bath. I explained how urgently this was needed and the Seller in the Marbella branch managed to send someone round on the same day to see if they could install it. They agreed, but said that i needed to purchase an additional pipe. I agreed to purchase this, but had to call Leroy 10 times to ask them to send me the price. They sent it days later, but said that I needed to wait to receive another link by email in order to pay it. After numerous additional calls, this was paid and after AGAIN multiple calls to organise the installation, we set a date for someone to come and install. I paid €469 for the boiler and an addition €310 for installation and the additional pipe. When the guy came to install, he told me that I should have cut a hole in my wall before he could install it. I told him that I was never told that I HAD to organise for a hole to be cut in the wall. I was never informed of this and of course, would have expected whoever was installing it to have done it! Since then, they said they couldn't do it and left. The guy wrote a cross where I needed to "drill a hole" and I was then left, 5 weeks later, with the boiler on the kitchen floor. Leroy merlin called and an extremely rude man told me that "I told you to drill a hole in the wall" even though I explained that 1. He didn't and 2. How would I even know what size or where to put it if they didn't tell me! I then explained that after 6 weeks of this, I want all of the money returned, in which they informed me that I could but needed to go to Marbella to receive the refund.
I have of course, since been back and have received only the €469 for the boiler and €76 for the pipe. All of the money for the installation (which of course they did not do PLUS the additional €30 that I paid for the installer to originally come to visit) have not been refunded (even though I was promised).
I have of course contacted Marbella AND Facebook and not had a response or the refund.
We are now 7 weeks on, I have been having to bathe my children at friends houses and I do not have the money back to purchase another boiler!
My advice would be to stay well clear of Leroy Merlin as myself and friends will be!

The goods were promised to be delivered within 48 hours. Leroy Merlin advises the customer that the delivery takes place between 8.00 – 18.00. However, this is not true, because the company delivering goods – Geis. pl deliveries goods only between 8.00 and 12.00.
This constitutes MISREPRESENTATION.
This merchandise was expected to be delivered within 48 hours, but to date, the shipment has not been delivered. The courier company did not notify me when it would be delivered. Yesterday they called at 6 am that he was around my place, but no one was at home, so I asked for it to be delivered on the same day, but after 12. The courier replied that he was working only until 12, refusing to deliver it on the same day. What is more, the shipment company Geis. pl registered this in its 'tracking the parcel system’ as '' pickup refused ' '- which is a lie. You mislead your customers by cheating about the terms of delivery. Geis only works Mon - Fri and only delivers until 12.00 - this information should be posted on the site. I will not buy anything from Leroy Merlin because there is no delivery option in the afternoon when we come back from work. I expect partial compensation for the purchase of goods.

No collection of returned goods
On 20th April I ordered some cushions for my garden loungers from Leroy Merlin. When these arrived they were not the correct size for my loungers so I asked for a return on the 5th May. On the 9th May they accepted the return and said that they would be collected as soon as possible. Today is the 26th and after many emails they still have not been collected. Apart from the fact I am over €55 out of pocket, the box is very large and taking up space in my home. They are not answering my emails and I do not know what to do!
Desired outcome: I'd like the items collected and a refund given to my credit card.
Project new kitchen
For our new holiday home in Spain, we bought for 10.000 Euro a new kitchen at Leroy Merlin, as project including all installation work.
Never had a worse experience with any construcor as with Leroy Merlin.
The sub contract everything to some self employed people who are not professionals, but deliver very cheap labor.
All tiles at 1 wall came down after 1 day. No tile was leveled with another. The electrician tried to convince me that is used in Spain to connect on a double fuse, an oven, induction plate, fridge, dishwasher, boiller, washing machine, light and general wall plugs... I have hired an Endlish electrician who had to do all over angain and now safe! Not one part of the project was delivered according agreement. The painter had to come back 3 (!) times trying to correct his own mess. Ultimately another painter had to do it all over again. They ruined the creamc worktop by putting the sink in the wrong place. Their comment; the top was placed technical correct, so i had no right to complain that the sink was placed wrong... After telling them that I would go to a lawyer , they offered to replace the worktop. In the end, they managed also to put the sink in a wrong place in the second worktop. Unbelievable! They delivered a fridge with the strangest hinges ever seen. Everytime we open the door, it breaks the panel next to the fridge.The carpenter was not able to solve this. I am waiting now for 3 months, and they just say that another technician will come to replace the hinges...for the same... Even the tecnicians of the fridge manufacturer has given that they cannot solve this and are willing to replace it for another model; Leroy Merlin refuses to agree.
There was much more going wrong, but I am so tired of repeating this all to a wall of people ignoring my requests for help.
A project which was planned for 8 days, is now already taking over 3 months. I had to make extra travel costs an buy extra leave days to be available. It cost me already over 4000 Euro extra.
I am unable to speak to a manager with Leroy Merlin who (maybe) can help me.
A total disappointment how respectless this company treat their well paying customers. Never, ever I will do business again with Leroy Merlin!
Desired outcome: Things can go wrong, but then solve these. Treat your customers with respect and don't come everytime with lame excuses. A final cry; just replace the fridge and get out of my house and my life!
Promised delivery 3 days on online order when they had no stock
17 May 2022 ordered an Ellies inverter online based on the message stating delivery would be on 19 May 2022. No call from Leroy Merlin, when I emailed to confirm delivery on 19th I was told they had no stock. Further I am informed that it will take 5 to 10 days to get a refund.
Both totally unacceptable. We need the inverter now! This amounts to false advertising.
I can't buy another inverter as Leroy Merlin is sitting with a substantial amount of money.

Il 15 Aprile, ho piazzato un ordine NO. [protected] per Tavolo, Sedie e Ombrellone. Mi e' stato assicurato che l'ordine sarebbe stato consegnato entro 4 giornin e comunque non oltre il 29 Aprile 2022, data in qui ne avevo assolutamente bisogno. Visto che non arrivava, ho piu' volte contattato Leroy Merlin, che ha inoltrato un sollecito. Su loro richiesta ho anche inviato un email allo spedizioniere e l'ho chiamato, Lo spedizioniere ha detto che poteva consegnare il prodotto solo Lunedi' o Martedi; alla data attuale non ho ancora ricevuto la merce! Ho ricevuto un messaggio che lo Spedizioniere mi aveva contattato e questa e' una bugia perche' ne' io ne' mio marito abbiamo ricevuto una chiamata. Questo e' assolutamente inaccetabile! Quando si prendono degli impegni, si mantengono. Il ritardo nella consegna mi ha causato enormi problemi ed imbarazzo. Gli operatori del Customer Service si rifiutano di prendere nota delle mie lagnanze, scaricano ogni responsabilita' sullo spedizioniere e mettono giu' il telefono. Anche lo spedizioniere si e' rivelato molto poco cortese, quando l'ho chiamato per sollectiare la cosegna. Il servizio della Leroy Merlin lascia molto, moltissimo a desiderare. Se non ricevero' la merce entro questa settimana, cancellero' l'ordine.

I bought a replacement at builders at the weekend, and it works perfectly. I paid to have it delivered to me and now you want me to pay again to send it back to them. It is faulty, probably by design, as the light sensor on the Builders Warehouse light is not in the light “chamber” but on the bottom light unit. The light stays on the whole night, so it is not that may driveway has a lot of light that chatting to SQI at the weekend suggested. The product is useless and does not fulfil its purpose. Therefore, I demand a full refund and I no longer require this product.
To expect me to pay 2 times the postage/courier on a faulty product is beyond belief and should be something for Hello Peter!

On the 12-4-22, I visited leroy merlin branch at kifisos Athens greece..
At the entrance I asked info desk where I can find sun protection membranes for windows...employees did not know if they were selling that product.. In my reply that I have seen it in their site they send me to home decoration dpt to ask.. There they send me to wood supplies dpt.. When I finally found that dpt and the membranes I requested information on the product from employee who was sitting next to the membranes... He was lazy even to get up from his chair but most important could not help me with info as he knew not much about the product... On my way out I ask for the manager of the store, at info reception desk..to my surprise no manager appeared but they just gave me their e mail to send them my complaint... This is the worst customer aproach I have ever encountered...

I have bought some products for one of our projects. It was very late to be delivered, we had poor response and eventually after almost 3 weeks some of the goods arrived broken.
It caused a terrible loss because I flew in based on false information you gave me on the expected delivery time. I had to buy extra tiles in order to make it on time and I get no compensation and refund.

Shower cabin
I bought a shower cabin on 17/01/2022 in the store Roma Laurentina in Italy. I paid in advance by credit card. The product was deliverd and installed by the worker "Enrico" about 50 days after the transaction. After a few hours I realized that water was falling out of a corner of the cabin to the floor, maybe for a factory defect. There is a warrany about the product of course so I claimed back to "Enrico" to know if he could fix it, but he answered a few times that he was too busy. So I went back to the store and spoke with the guy who sold me the cabin, but he was so arrogant and really not professional. He kept repeating that it's not his business to help customers resolving this kind of problems. The name of this guy is Claudio C., he was really rude and indifferent to my trouble. So, in the end, two months ago I paid about 500 € for a shower cabin, and I can't use it because water falls out from a corner, and when I went back to the store I found a very rude person that really didn't want to help me. I sent an email to the administration and I'm hoping that they will send me someone to fix the problem.
Desired outcome: I would like someone to come to my flat and fix the cabin, and I really hope that Leroy Merlin can employ polite people to work with costumers, because it's really sad and unpleasant to be treated as I was today.
