I have unsbscribed from Light In the Box's emails more than 10 times over the last three weeks...but although the web page confirms I'm unsubscribed, I still receive multiple emails every day. I can't find a customer service number because I haven't actually ordered anything - can anyone provide a number? The one listed on this page doesn't work when I call.
While it sometimes takes a day or two to stop receiving emails once you unsubscribe, this is a company who would rather continue pushing their products with no accountability for respecting customer's wishes - the worst type of spam. And no one to call to ask in person to remove me. Definitely won't ever be ordering from this company, especially after reading all the horrible stories from customers.

I cancelled my order before shipment. Customer service reply ed they shipped the items day after I cancelled. They said to accept the package then contact them for a rma retun number. The tracking number was bogus it shipped almost 2 weeks after I ordered my items which specifically said immediate shipping available and a paid for upgrade shipping on top of that also. I order a dress 2weeks ago, the dress was suppose to be made to fit. This dress is very bad quality. One sleeve is bigger than the other. The lace ribbon has 3 bad spots, were the thread was not on the fabric and it left 3 small holes in the ribbon lace up for the dress. I've chat with a rep. I bought this product for a birthday present. The product doesn't come with any instructions. I consider myself to be ok with setting up electrical goods but whatever I trued I could not get the clock to work.
I went onto forums and even youtube and I encountered numerous complaints about the product.
I complained to Lightin the box and they apologised and promised an immediate refund (less the shipping). That was in August and to date I have not received the refund and they have closed the case so I cannot even query where my refund is.

When the light was received there were no batteries as pictured in their ad. So when i confronted them they say sorry batteries removed. So i ask for them to send me batteries and they simply offered me a discount equal to what they valued the batteries to be worth on a future order. So with that being unacceptable i requested that they send for a return pickup. But they expect me to ship their falsely advertised merchandise back to china with tracking at my expense. So if you order from this company, you might as well just roll your window down on your car and toss $15.00 out. The result would be the same. They definitely hide behind the fact that they are difficult to talk to.

Purchased evening dress from Light In A Box for a wedding. Purchased June 17, 2016 through Papal. Received the dress three days later. Dress did not fit properly. Zipped only half way. I requested a return via their instructions on "My Order." Their response was " it was a made to order dress and could not be returned." This was not a made to order. I sent no measurements, and I received the dress to quickly to be a " made to order." I tried to respond three more times but received no response. There is no customer service number nor anyway to talk to a person. This is a bogus company. I believe these are all seconds and irregulars, as the dress fit strangely. I have sewn in the past, and I can tell something was not right with the dress. I had relatives try it on and it fit them the same. What legitimate company would not have a customer service? May have got me this time, but never again. I am out $106.00. Would love to get my money back!

I ordered a shoe rack, which was in very poor quality. When I tried to put the shoe rack together, it would not hold and the rack would fall apart. Hence I wanted to return the item. However, I'd have to pay the costs of returning the item. The shoe rack was £7.99 whereas to return it will cost pretty much the same amount of money. This has been a complete rip off. There were also certain items we ordered that did not arrive. I called up to ask for the items, and they added the item costs to the total price, which had already included the missing items as well.

My son bought me a wall clock from this site in April. The delivery charge was £24.30. When it arrived it was broken so I started the horrendous process of sending it back to POLAND. The cost from the UK was £33.30. Once the clock was deemed by the company as broken they then told me the refund would be is USD. They omitted the return carriage charge. Many emails later I'm told I have to claim my carriage charges via PayPal and the refund is in USD for both the clock and all the carriage charges. This has been going on for weeks. The initial refund could take up to 25 days. I've requested the return charges through Pay Pal just to get them back. Very difficult Customer Service. Lack of understanding on which country the product is purchased in and a 'couldn't care' attitude.
I can only suggest that unless you are desperate don't use this site. It really isn't worth any savings you could make.

I am infuriated about this website. I was not happy with several items in my order and wanted to contact them... I don't see any email or phone number for them, and I am unable to follow their instructions for submitting a "Customer Service Ticket" since my Order Number doesn't even work!
My order does show up on their website under "My Account""My Orders". It shows that it has been ordered on April 03, 2016, and my tracking number is [protected] . It marks the order as shipped that same day. However when I click on the tracking number, I get this message:
"No Order Found
You may have entered your order number incorrectly. Please confirm and try again.
This order number may be more than 18 months old. Please note that we only keep up to 18 months of order history."
I mean, WTF?!?!?!?! What the heck do you expect me to do when the only way to contact them is by submitting a Customer Service Ticket and the only way to do so does not even work?!
I even attempted to contact an email address belonging to their sister site, [protected]@dropinthebox.com explaining my situation and only got one response from a person called Deng Pin which completely ignored my explanation and repeated the same thing Lightinthebox website tells you to do, to click on your tracking number and submit a Customer Service Ticket. When I responded again repeating that I am contacting them because I am unable to do so, I no longer received a response.
Since then, I've emailed [protected]@lightinthebox.com (no response), [protected]@lightinthebox.com (automated response saying that address is no longer active and that I must go through their website to contact them), and [protected]@lightinthebox.com (no response).
This is by far the WORST experience I've had with a Chinese retail website.

I bought a dog coat off them which was fine, good price and delivered swiftly - so no complaints here.
However, have unsubscribed from their email messaging service on countless ocassions, but they STILL keep on coming through.
Whilst I would have been quite happy to recommend this company to others, the frustration of having to delete the unwantwed emails day after day (especially on my mobile phone), means I'll STRONGLY recommend buyers to steer way clear!
Same here, I ordered some light bulbs from them and they spam me several times a day - and that's before I've even received the product! Can't seem to contact customer service or complaints department. and unsubscribe options don't seem to work. Appalling.
