Mini In The Box, also operating as Light in the Box, by all credible reviews are operating a fraud by advertising products for sale that are not delivered. They are accepting payment from all major credit cards and PayPal. Their pop-up advertising is sold to them by Google and appears in all websites on Chrome after visiting the Miniinthebox website, thereby Google are aiding them in distributing their sales pitch and perpetuating the fraud.
Mini In The Box are deceptive in providing shipping information on orders that are deemed "free shipping" but invoiced for shipping, Shipping information is fiction and autonomically adds 10-30 days onto expected delivery time.
I've placed two small orders within a few days of February 17 (as sample orders to test out the promises) and have not received anything. The response to a "customer ticket" at one point stated that they have contacted Canada Post and the envelope will be expedited to me within 10 days. I responded that it was a lie and they are a fraud. I seem to have invested $47 in their scam and will in the end get my money's worth.

I paid an extra $35 for 3-4 business day delivery. I did not receive my dress for 7 business days, 10 days in total. It is false advertising to promise 3-4 day delivery and to make people pay the extra money when it makes no difference what so ever. I am unbelievably frustrated and angry at this and I will never be shopping on this site again. I request that the delovery costs I paid for a promised 3-4 day delivery be refunded.

I bought a suit from LightInTheBox and it was defective. I contacted LightInTheBox support service and they asked me to send some pictures. I did as they said and then they told that they need some time to find the best resolution. They said they'll contact me back as soon as they decide what to do. After two weeks of waiting I got suspicious and contacted them myself.
Their rep was not nice, he said that they'll contact me later and when I asked "when exactly" he said "how can I know". That was very rude and I did not like the way he spoke to me!
It is now more than a month and it seems like they are still trying to think of something. I am very disappointed with this site! Just another scam business! And by the way, these guys are located in China and we all know what that means. Total scam!

I have an issue with LightInTheBox and it seems like they don't care. They owe me money but I can't reach anyone from the company.
Over a month ago I have returned an item because of the poor quality. That time customer service rep did reply and he assured me that I'll be receiving my refund soon, but that was just a lie. They never planned to refund and lied from the very beginning.
I contacted my bank and asked if there was something they could do to help me and they said that I was in a very difficult situation. I was aware of that. LightInTheBox simply stole my money, but I will not give up and I'll do everything to teach these guys a lesson. LightInTheBox is not to be trusted and should be out of business!

LightInTheBox is surely a scam company set up by a scam artist to scam unsuspecting customers. I paid for a simple PH meter for nearly 2 months now and I still have not received my package, I have contacted them severally and they keep posting me forwarded date and claiming due to high order the post office have so much work to do which is why there is a delay. Now I have decided to hand over the matter to International police fraud office for their immediate attention. I will not stop until I see the end of the matter.

Hello. I bought two items from this site MiniInTheBox and paid extra money for fast shipping. Things I ordered were Christmas presents so I wanted to get them as soon as possible.
For some reason they shipped my items separately. One item showed up after three weeks of waiting, and the second one is still missing. When I contacted MiniInTheBox customer care they were trying to resolve my issue and asked me to give them some extra time.
They refused to refund the money I paid for shipping. I was supposed to get my items within 2-3 days, but received only one after three weeks.
I'm extremely disappointed with this company and will not buy from them ever again. I'm quite new to online shipping so I had no idea that MiniInTheBox had such a terrible reputation. Next time I'll read the reviews.

On the 25th January 2017 I ordered a dress from lightinthebox and paid for it via bank transfer. I did not receive payment confirmation as expected so I checked the payment had been transferred out of my account, which it was. I then contacted the commercial bank of the recipient whom confirmed that the money had indeed been credited to the correct account and my name appeared on the transfer details.
I created a ticket to resolve the payment issue and was told it would take a week since it was an international transfer (note that I reside in Hong Kong and the bank details were for a Hong Kong bank - not an international transfer!). I was also informed that if I provided the details (copy of transaction details) the investigation would take 48 hours. I did so (blanked out first eight digits of my bank account). Now, over a week since my initial correspondence (ticket) I am still waiting to hear back from the financial department. Lightinthebox are now not responding to my tickets and my order is not progressing. They have kept my money and are not proceeding with the sale as agreed.
According to the law, if after a reasonable length of time the sale does not progress as agreed, keeping my payment is considered theft. I have waited many days past the stated time I was asked to wait (2 days) and I believe this constitutes exceeding the 'reasonable length of time'.
I am therefore requesting a full refund of the amount paid HK$709.51, which includes the shipping fee, since the item has not even been processed, let alone shipped.

I have the same issue. I paid by my debit card and the money has been blocked by my bank waiting for the beneficiary request to release the money for them but Lightinthebox has not sent the request to the bank to release these funds. Surprisingly the customer service is repeatedly saying me that it is my problem and they can not do anything. They have kept the money for over one week now and my order is still in status "payment awaiting". Ridiculous. This is my second order with them, the first one was ok despite delayed delivery time, but the one here will be my last one.

I have purchased a coat from this store and the one I received was defective. I contacted LightInTheBox and asked for a replacement. When they asked what was the reason and I told them that there was a hole in the pocket they said that was not a big problem. According to them hole was not a good reason to go through the entire return process. They said that I can take it to the tailor and fix it there. I can't even describe how angry I was when they said that. LightInTheBox sold me a defective product and refused to do anything about that. The worst part was that they tried to assure me to keep the coat and claimed that there was nothing more to discuss. I wasted a lot of time trying to get this matter resolved, but they didn't give me a chance! I'm extremely disappointed with this site!

The dress has a fault in the back under the waist line stitching.There a skip in the stitching that makes the fabric gather and look like pulling all the way down.

I paid my transfer charge and sent the exact money they required. I confirmed with my bank that they have received the full amount. Then they finally after not for a week admitting they had any money declared it was not enough because I presume of hidden charges at that end. I had the choice of sending more money which was out of the question because the same would happen again, they recieving £15 from about £47 sent. A terrible experience, they were slow, unknowledgable of the fee's and gave no good alternative.

I ordered a set of pajamas and matching footwear/slippers on Dec 14th. I paid extra for expedited shipping, 3-5 days. When the order had not arrived by Dec 22, I went to check the order. It showed that the order was not marked as paid for until Dec 21st, even though I used PayPal at the time of ordering on Dec 14th. The order at that time showed "Processing". I checked on the order again on Dec 27th and it still showed processing. I continued to check every few days and it still kept saying processing. I sent a message to customer service about the order and they replied that the processing time for the items ordered was 8-10 business days. This was on Jan 4. With a payment received on Dec 21st, it had already been 10 business days. In their reply, they indicated the items would be shipped no later than 1/8/2017. I checked the order on 1/9/2017 and it still showed "Processing". I contacted support again to remind them of their 1/8 shipping date. I received a reply along with a notification that my order was delayed due to backlog with their supplier. They offered an "apology" in the form of a $3 credit/gift card for a future purchase. The catch to the "apology" is when I use it, my order has to be at least twice the value of the "gift". I'll never use it because I will NEVER use their site again.

I ordered an Oculus rift on November 20th 2016 for a Christmas gift I emailed them a few days before Christmas to see where my order was they said due to holidays it is running behind but will be here.its now Jan 2017 and I still haven't seen my order. MiniInTheBox rep said that my order was cancelled because it was no longer available, then they promised me a refund but still no sign of my money. I think I was tricked and scammed by these people and I don't actually expect them to refund me. That was the most terrible online shopping experience I've ever had. I'm only glad that it wasn't too expensive. I would not recommend this company to anyone. And I would like to mention that they are located in China which in my opinion makes a lot of sense.

I ordered items from Light in the Box (LITB) under Order # [protected] on 11/27/16 with an expected delivery of 12/21/16. LITB shows shipping as of 12/9/16. The expected delivery date is 12/21/16. As of 12/22/16 there is not package. I opened a ticket with customer service asking about the whereabouts and was referred to the Track Package resource (as if I had not already used that link). 17Track is the shipping tracker and it is bare bones on information. It shows nothing except that the package left China and entered the US. There is no indication where in the US the package is located to gauge when it might arrive.
Customer Service changed the status of ticket [protected] to Resolved, adding a remark that it could take as long as 1/15/17 to arrive. Frankly, this is not a status that reflects 'Resolved', rather I don't know and I need to send you a canned response. I still have no idea where the package is located or when it will arrive.
I have submitted a complaint to the Supervisor for review but I am skeptical that I will receive another canned response. The items are needed for a New Year's performance. Otherwise I need to order another outfit and spend money on overnight delivery.
Again, for an order that was made on 11/27/16, this is poor processing and a worse response when I have waited until after the delivery due date to act.
