I bought a dress and didn't receive it
Light In The Box is a 100% scam, don't order from them, they don't deliver anything. But they are pretty fast to charge you. I have contacted them numerous times regarding my order and every time they said one and the same thing that my order was shipped. But when I asked for a tracking number they said that they don't provide tracking numbers.
Also, I want to say that they also didn't provide me with a shipping notification, so I wasn't even sure that my order was really shipped.

I ordered 4 items from Light in the Box. They are all in one order. First, one was shipped according to them. Then two more shipped according to them. Now they are telling me that all three of those items have been delivered, but I received nothing. The forth item, my wedding dress, has not shipped yet. The don't give a phone number for me to call customer service. I need all four items for my wedding. At this point I have begun looking for another dress and other needed wedding items. I just want to receive my entire order in time for the wedding, or a full refund including shipping since nothing was shipped.

This company might be selling cheap stuff but when you buy it you are stuck it seems you cannot return them even if they screwed up with your order. They sent the wrong items so I returned them and since December I'm waiting for my refund. these people are lying saying their will refund me but they disappear all the time when the payment has to be made. The people are scammers. Ordered a phone case which should have taken 30 days to arrive . 2 months later and no sign of it . Sent them an email and they gave me a tracking number . My local Post Office says number is not a valid tracking number.

I ordered 1 dress first from light in the box this was to test the sizing and colour, in which I loved I then ordered a further 7 dresses for my wedding 3 being adults chiffon dresses and 4 being junior chiffon dresses. When I received my parcel I had 2 parcels delivered separately one contained the junior chiffon dresses all 4 of them where supplied by lanting bride all labelled CANDY PINK, however 3 of these dresses were CANDY PINK and 1 was LILAC, I went by the colour chart and wanted all CANDY PINK. I then received 2nd parcel which was the 3 adult dresses which were also made by lanting bride also chiffon material also labelled CANDY PINK and these dresses all 3 were BLUSHING PINK (matching on your colour chart ) however these are labelled CANDY PINK. I have had nothing but problems back and forward with ticket etc it's so hard to contact someone over a computer I am so up set this has ruined my wedding, I have sent pictures and explained and explained everything in detail and now all you have offered me is a full refund however iv still lost postage when I placed order, I paid tax on the intire order and now it's costing me £49.00 GBP to return them when it wasn't even a fault on my side it was the suppliers. I have lost so much money ordering these dresses and I wouldn't of minded if I ended up with all the same colour but I haven't. I don't see how they dresses are the same make supplier and material all labelled CANDY PINK can I end up with 3 different colours is not right, I loved these dresses the quality the size is amazing but the colours are all different I am so gutted as I loved using light in the box. I will never use this site again!

I placed on order on Feb. 24/17, which was a spring jacket, cheching my pay Pal statement i realized that the money was already taken from my acc. but i never got the product. I want to tell about my experience with Lightinthebox, it was terrible!
I decided to buy from them only because of their prices. I was searching for a cell phone and found and pretty good deal on Lightinthebox. I want to mention that I had no idea who these guys were and I did not read any reviews.
I placed my order and they took my money right away. Later they sent me a confirmation message.
5 days passed and I received another message where is was said that my order was no longer in stock and got cancelled. I contacted Lightinthebox and they assured me I'll get a refund. When I received my money there was only 50%! I contacted them again and asked what was going on and they replied that they took 50% as a cancellation fee. Beyond ridiculous! Don't buy from Lightinthebox!

I recently placed and then received my 1st time order from your company.
Not one single item fit and I used your size guide prior to placing my order.
So when I contacted you using your website format trying to submit all the items that I received and subsequently did not fit, all of the items submitted your customer service only accepted 2 out of the 5 entire items.
And, I spent over $ 55.00 plus tax and shipping but your company deleted the other tickets/items and it shows you are only willing to refund less than half of what I spent and this was just my 1st time ordering and because your company is essentially stealing my money ( I see no other way to describe) and therefore I will NEVER, EVER ORDER FROM YOUR COMPANY AGAIN! !

I made an order and paid extra money to get my order as soon as possible and they claimed that it would take no longer than 7 business days! My order did not show up and when I contacted LightInTheBox support service they said that I received regular shipping because I did not pay for fast delivery! But I paid! I've unsubscribed 10 times from their spam/phishing emails and I still keep getting them. I added them to my junk email list but they keep changing their email address to get through the filters. Very bad practice. I would never do business with them again. Never!

We ordered a non custom made dress because I couldn't find a lace dress in my area I saw restrictions on returns for custom dresses I ordered a stock dress for my wedding. We paid extra for shipping in 3 days and when dress never showed up. I had to look to see the estimated ship date was 2 weeks AFTER my wedding. Now they are refusing to refund my money. Ive filed numerous tickets, you can speak to a person. They refuse to call me. I immediately cancelled the order within 7 days after order was placed. Still trying to recoup my money. Ugh. It's so frustrating. They are offering to refund half of my money. How do you keep half of a refund when you did NOTHING to warrant keeping a dime!

This company is dishonest and will not listen to customers. I have been trying to get my money back and they refuse based on dishonest advertising. Here is what they did to me:
My future wife purchased some wedding stuff on Feb 26th. I should have known right then and there this company was crooked when the bank shut her CC off due to security reports. Since she could not pay for the items I used my CC and purchased the items. We purchase all the items because they said on the site 5-8 days delivery.
Well that was a lie it took weeks just to process before shipping. On march 10th 7 whole days before they said it would be ready to ship. I started looking at rip off websites and reading horror stories about this company. They have been ripping people off for years.
So fearing for my purchase and running out to time to buy a wedding dress and stuff I cancelled the order, they told me in a ticket system( because there is no one to call or speak to about anything) that I would have to pay 50% return fees because the dress was custom made and had already been made.
Days went by and the tickets came back saying we are still shipping even though I specifically asked for my order to be cancelled.

They gave me the run around and shipped the package anyways DHL. So I called DHL and refused the package. Their response to my refund is that they shipped it so no refund.
This is a very crooked shady dishonest company that runs out of China and has no real ties to the USA so stay away don't buy anything! Don't be a Victim!

I asked for the order to be cancelled well before it was shipped. I understand you keep 50 % of the dress cost, but I want the rest of my money back. I don't understand how I have explained this over and over again and yet you continue to not offer my money back.
I will remove the review when I receive my money back and only then, plus I will continue to go to consumer sites and review your company over and over again explaining what a crooked company you are and how consumers should avoid your site and your practices.
In other words keep 50 % of the cost of dress since it was custom made. But return my money for all other items that were not custom made and since I asked for the order to be cancelled a week before you shipped it. I want my shipping back as well.
Roughly about $150 USD.
It's fairly simple refund my money I cancelled the order on march 10th. You shipped March 17th. It is your companies fault not mine.
"Given that more than 24 hours have elapsed since we received and confirmed your payment, we can only issue you a partial refund consisting of the full shipping cost and 50% of the product price". This is what they wrote and still shipped my order like they crooks they are.

I ordered a wig from Light in the Box. I should have clued in because there were two different photos on the information page about the product. I have ordered from Light in the Box a few times and had no problem. This time however, it was a different story...When the wig arrived I nearly fell over with shock. It was the really crappy wig shown with the better wig. The tell me this is what I ordered. I would have to pay shipping again to send it back and the cost is too high to throw good money after bad. Then I was told to take photos of the wig and send them as proof I got the wrong order...Second clue in.
I am a senior and don't have a fancy camera to take a photo and then be able to send it email right away.
Now I'm told if I change my rating of the company they will refund my money. The unfortunate thing is ...I can't trust them to send me a refund once I change the rating . So my rating stands as it is. I am sending the photo I ordered from and the wig I actually go. These are taken from their web site. I found out later that the photo I ordered from was taken off another web site and used in a "bait and switch" scam.
