I do not recommend Lion Home Services
I do not recommend Lion Home Services. In the spring of 2019, we were in a cold spell, and my furnace died. I called Lion and they came right out and told me the furnace needed to be replaced. I had them replace the furnace and install an air conditioner. The furnace installation was done well, but I found trash, a 1/2 full can of Red Bull and dirty spot on my carpet when they were done. When I looked on the Lennox website, I found out they charged my twice what Lennox says is a typical installed price. When I asked Lion for an itemized bill, they said they don't that, due to the contract (on the back of the bill), which also states binding arbitration. I also found out they charged me $299 for "total care". Now they are calling all the time to drain my water heater and inspect my electrical wiring, so they can scam some more money out of me.
I am sorry to write this, but it is my hope that it will help some other innocent victim and keep you from calling this company for service
I am sorry to write this, but it is my hope that it will help some other innocent victim and keep you from calling this company for service. I would rate them less than 1 star if I could because they are the ultimate con/rip-off artists in the 'game'. This company took over the contract of the company that was my service provider for our heater/A/C system after the gentleman we had retired, and when our A/C coil began to lose refrigerant last year they came out and misdiagnosed the issue several times (each time charging us, of course) and one time stating they had fixed it for $360.00 (it wasn't fixed). The guy who claimed he had been an A/C expert tech for 20 years who 'fixed' it stated that he could get 'parts' (not labor) to REALLY fix it for another $1,000 and then we'd see from there. When I called the next day to say it still wasn't working, they said they'd send someone out again (for another charge) to see what was wrong again. At that point, I just kind of gave up, called other people, found out that the 'expert' from Lion had not done any true fix for $360 AND had plugged in the A/C unit upside-down! I will not continue... this is already too long of a story... I think you can see where this is going... don't call them and waste your money! ~ Linda
I paid over $1000 to become a preferred customer for a year. I called lion out for a leak in my sewer line. They did the diagnostics and found a mislaid pipe. The fix was to replace a small segment. They quoted me $6,900! I said I would dig out and expose the pipe to lower costs. The pipe was only about a foot deep. (I'm a 69 year old woman.) They then quoted $4,900. I refused and called out another plumbing service who completed the ENTIRE job, digging and all, for $3,800. Earlier I had Lion come out to replace a segment of roof flashing that had blown off. They replaced it for $500. The replacement lasted 4 months. Then they came out and did the job right. Very poor service and the loss of my money as a "preferred partner". I will never call them again, and my advice to others is to BEWARE!
For some reason, Lion has changed, and now I can't recommend strongly enough that you steer clear of this company. Last Thursday I waited all day for a tech to show up for an appointment. Not only did he not show up, but he never called to tell me he wasn't coming. When I called Lion, I sat on hold for 30 minutes to talk to a rep. She didn't know why the tech didn't show but assured me someone would be in touch. I called 4 more times over the course of a day and a half, and each time I was assured someone would be at my house. No one showed, and two days later I still haven't received an explanation as to what happened. No one's bothered to call me. Obviously Lion is lousy with communication and is incredibly disrespectful to its customers. Other recent reviews have noted the same thing. If you need something done, and if you need someone to show up on the day they say they will, do NOT use Lion Home Service.
What a lovely bunch of guys they have working for this company
What a lovely bunch of guys they have working for this company. Polite and engaging all that we have met so far. So much so that we signed and paid for a maintenance contract with them. Big Mistake. Unfortunately the company itself is absolutely despicable. We have two horrific experiences in the two times we have had them looking at both our Boiler / Heating system and our *** The boiler and hot water stopped working in winter. Cold showers. Their proposal was a $6K fix with new controllers etc. Fortunately I engaged a second person who simply pushed the home / away button and all was back to normal. Oh Well What's $6K between friends eh? - Today it was turn of the aircon scam to be floated. Aircon stops: its pushing 100 This week in NOCO. so using our aforementioned service contract we call Lion. Short story -"you need a whole new aircon system. and that will be $19K; or $23K if you want the high efficiency system". Plan B comes around. Filters are completely clogged - to be expected as we have builders here sanding floors etc. - 15 Min later he has cleaned everything; measured pressures (which are well over minimums) and we have a cool house within an hour. AVOID THESE THIEVES LIKE THE PLAGUE/COVID I'll happily remove my negative comments if I am proved wrong, but that will require a conversation with the owner.
Liam came to our house to clean and inspect our Septic tank. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them for their service.
Total rip off. Will never use or recommend to anyone. Got charged over 4,000 dollars for a septic clean out and no response from company when I complained. Very upset and disappointed in whole experience.
Had to wait for a tech but I know it's hard to find workers these days. Ben arrived on the appointed day but later in the afternoon. Patience is required with service people as they are very busy. I know because I deal with this type if issue in my job. Bad news, my water heater is 24 years old and needs to be replaced. What people do not understand, is that shop costs, labor costs, gas prices, supply chain issues and insurance costs are skyrocketing. Prices have doubled in 3 years for anything and everything. Ben was terrific. Kind and patience. I got 18 mos 0% interest financing. Servicing appliances is only going to get more expensive so appliance inspection, service and replacement should be done now.
The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I can't leave a negative number
The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I can't leave a negative number. Their plumbing side is great, only because they kept most of the techs from *** when the bought them out. As for their HVAC side, I can't believe they're still in business. I understand how the game works, you come to fix a problem but the true JOB is to UP-sale, to make any kind of a decent living. I'm OK with that, many times that's a great service to the customer. However, once the up-sale is made and the product installed, that's when the "Customer Service" ends. In the almost 3 month period since my HVAC unit has been installed, with some parts missing, I have had 3 service call appointments to which no one showed up or called to inform us of a problem making the appointment, even after confirming the day before. Once a technician finally did arrive, the 4th appointment, the AC unit no longer cools at all. It was not working as it should, which is why the service call was made in the first place, as well as make sure the parts that were not installed initially were going to be, a little over 2 months ago. The price of the unit was a lot more than expected, but I figured if price was any indicator of the product, this was going to be a good one, I was WRONG. Wiring outside of the unit eft just hanging without any kind of cable management, it looks like a young child did the job. Very unprofessional in job performance and service after the fact! I would not recommend this company if I was paid.
The 29-year-old furnace in a newly purchased home failed at 2 AM on one of the coldest nights of January 2022. It was under warranty, but the warranty company/contractor proved unreliable, so Lion was contacted at 11 AM as a backup. Lion Home Service had a representative out to our home within an hour of my call. A quote and financing were arranged immediately, loaner space heaters were provided quickly, and the furnace and AC were replaced the following day (per our agreement). I give tremendous credit to the service technicians, who performed all essential tasks to complete the majority of the job as a tremendous amount of snow fell. While there were some items that remained incomplete, the items or issues were not critical to the use of the new furnace. Over the course of the month of January (over 3 weeks from initial contact, which is why I am not leaving a 5 Star rating) all HVAC-related items were completed to our satisfaction. The sales manager and installers were kind, considerate, punctual, and professional. Coordinating through dispacth was sometimes frustrating, but should be recognized for doing their very best for us a critical time of year. As civil servants on the front lines of healthcare and public education, we are truly grateful for the timely and professional service we received. We have very high expectations related to professional communication and commitment to excellence and will accept nothing less. My family remained warm and safe, and we are glad we chose Lion Home Service to take care of us. We are very pleased with the service that we were provided and will certainly approach Lion Home Service for a variety of other needs as new homeowners in Fort Collins.
Fast efficient and friendly. On time and priced all parts and labor. Definitely recommend this business
Terrible experience! We called in for a service call and had a salesman show up. He tried to sell us a whole heating system that we did not need. We contacted another heating contractor and he said we needed a new control modulator at very little cost and effort. Very disappointed in Lion. We previously had good contact with Lion technicians, but this was unbelievable!
Ted B was perfect. He was the first person we met in selecting the new roof. Ted was with us through the whole project. He was very responsive to our calls. We are a very happy LION customer thanks to Ted B! Keep up the great work!
In good faith, we called Lion Home Service to do a furnace winter tuneup for us
In good faith, we called Lion Home Service to do a furnace winter tuneup for us. We knew that a $49 charge would not involve repairs or parts, but we thought it would cover necessary general maintenance, such as oiling, cleaning parts, as well as an inspection prior to wintertime. Anthony R, the serviceman, arrived and proceeded down to the furnace, and took several photos of the vents which he showed to my husband. He said he would be about another half hour. About a half hour later, he presented me with a dire scenario - that our furnace, which is 18 years old, really needs to be replaced but that otherwise, we could do $2600 of repairs! When I asked him what the "tuneup" consisted of, he just sneered and said "you did not really think we would do any work for $49, did you? I responded that I did, and again pressed him to tell me what he did other than put in a new filter (which was our own.) He said he would email me that info, and I am still waiting for that a week later, after several calls to the company. We sent the photos Anthony sent to our licensed and very experienced home inspector, who said that the scare tactics were BS and that furnaces of this quality typically last 25 to 30 years, not the 12 to 15 years that Anthony told us. He said the wear and tear shown in the photos is normal. We are very disappointed that we tried to resolve this with Lion but that they insist they are correct. They did offer to send another serviceman over, but we now feel that their "servicemen" are really "salesmen." So we have hired another company to do our winter tuneup. We feel that we paid $49 for a hard sell "bait and switch." Not happy at all!

I really hope this review helps someone decide on who they want to work on their home
I really hope this review helps someone decide on who they want to work on their home. I cannot recommend any aspect of Lion Home Service. We had a sewer trench issue in our backyard and 1) a job that was supposed to take 2-3 days took over two weeks. 2) We had to make calls asking why people flat out did not do work on our project on certain days. 3) They brought in a backhoe far too large for our backyard, permanently wrecking a tree and our fence, we were not at all compensated. 4) The employees took it upon themselves to trash talk the management and some quit during the time period of the work. 5) They have poor computer systems: They have never changed the email address they had on hand for us which was incorrect, so scheduling and maintenance was always a hassle. 6) They call us to schedule inspections on furnace, A/C, duct work, etc, and their quotes, like with the sewer, are exorbitantly higher than local companies (even with the "membership" they made us add to the $17000 sewer job. 7) Another company ended up doing plumbing work for us and showed us the poor/incomplete plumbing connection made from our inner to outer work. When we called Lion and asked about recompense for it, Lion refused and said it was because we didn't call them to come out and inspect. Of course, we are never going to call on them again. I don't even like seeing their trucks around town. We highly encourage you to avoid this non-local, non-accountable company, and encourage the ComplaintsBoard.com to figure out a more accurate rating system that doesn't allow large companies like Lion to manipulate the "grade" each business can show off, because no aspect of Lion is worthy of an "A+."

Price Gouging by Lion Home Service: on 10/21 Mr
Price Gouging by Lion Home Service: on 10/21 Mr. Anthony R of Lion Home Service technician arrived promptly to repair my non functioning furnace. I'll summarize by saying that Mr. R spent less than 40 minutes in my home of which about half that time was used selling me a annual service contract that was not sought, requested or needed by me. Thus, his net repair time was less than 20 minutes. The repair consisted of replacing of a faulty pressure switch, which after his departure, I found to be *** HK06NB020. His total bill was $711.00. It consisted of $29.00 and $99.00 for a Dispatch Fee and a diagnosis (up to an hour of service), respectively, and $583.00 for the pressure switch part. Prompted by Mr. R "interesting" comments and behavior, I checked the price of of the pressure switch on the internet after his departure. The results were stunning: $53.95 from ***; $53.83 from ***; $57.85 from ***; and $54.74 from *** company. Thus, in sum, Lion Home Service represented by Mr. R gouged me by 10 times more than comparable vendors charge for the replacement part. Keep in mind that the vendors mentioned have already factored in their profit margin into their listed prices. Thus, this $583.00 charge by Mr. R represents up to 20 times the wholesale cost of the part in question. Mr. R's time on the job was already paid for by the $99.00 diagnostic fee that paid for up to an hour of his time and was therefore not a part of the charge for the pressure switch. I called Lion Home Service to resolve this issue on 10/25 and spoke to Alexander. I requested to talk to the owner. I was told that will response within a day or so. To date (10/31) I have not received a return call. I will definitely not recommend the services of this business.

Called Lion to fix a bathroom exhaust fan
Called Lion to fix a bathroom exhaust fan. The technician was friendly and professional and wore a mask during the COVID crisis, which I appreciated. Upon inspection, the tech determined the fan needed to be replaced, to which I agreed. The replacement fan he purchased at Home Depot was not one I would have chosen because it's a cheap, badly constructed product which doesn't even work properly. The invoice does not specify what model it is, nor could the receptionist tell me when I called to find out. She did suggest that another tech could come out at take a look at it and tell me, for another $40 service fee. Upon review of the Home Depot website, a matching image indicated that the fan cost less than $30, but Lion charged me $878 for it and its installation. Also, it did not even come close to fitting into the hole left by the one the tech replaced. The tech left a 2" x 10" inch gap in the drywall in my ceiling, despite his assurances that he could position the new unit so that only a "quarter inch" gap would be visible. I agreed to the work thinking that I'm able to repair a "quarter inch" gap, but I don't have the drywall repair expertise to fix a surprise 2 x 10 inch gap in a ceiling. The tech did not inform me that he had actually gotten the wrong replacement size or provide me with any options when he realized that he couldn't get the fan into the ceiling the way he first thought he could; instead, he did inform me that he was not allowed by the company to repair drywall. It didn't even occur to me to ask about drywall repair when I hired the company to replace my bathroom exhaust fan. The tech did struggle with old wiring and finally did get the fan hooked up properly, but cracked a switch plate in three places in the process. I should add that the tech was very apologetic that his work didn't turn out the way he apparently expected it would, and I believe he was sincere. However, not only was I exorbitantly overcharged for the actual fan and the work to install it, but now I have to hire someone to fix my ceiling, and I have to replace the switch plate. But now I know that if you hire Lion for electrical issues, their technicians can poke holes in your walls and then just walk away without repairing them. And, if you ask them to repair an exhaust fan, 1) they will replace it with the cheapest thing they can find, 2) not inform you of any problems that may occur during installation that could have been avoided, 3) ruin your ceiling, 4) overcharge you for their services, and 5) expect you to be happy about it. In all, I would say avoid hiring this company. At all costs. Because it will cost you plenty extra if you do.
Never do any business with Lion Home Services
Never do any business with Lion Home Services. They are a fraudulent company that claims to be Benjamin Franklin plumbing. I will now explain why I'm furious with these liars. Earlier this year I had my furnace replaced by ***. who is associated with Benjaimin Franklin. I got a Full plan with all the works. A monthly fee and all that jazz. A month later the hot water heater goes out and I call benjamin Franklin. They send over a tech dressed in BFranklin clothes. Claiming he works for BFranklin. After the hot water heater is installed the billing is Lion Home Services. I pay. Next week a company claiming to be *** calls me and says its time for your furnace to be looked at. I say no you just installed it! It doesnt need anything. I call the number back after the call and they answer Lion Home Services. Turns out someone working for *** or benjamin franklin stole everyone's information and left the company. And now started there own company called Lion Home services.Who is now cold calling me and others in my town. NEXT, I get a call 1 week later from Benjamin Franklyn again this time asking to service the hot water heater which is 1 week old. I say its pretty much brand new but ok its free service so whatever. The 18-20 year old kid drains the BRAND new water heater and says he found several issues including the heating Rod is old and damaged and it would cost 200 dollars for a new Rod. I explain to him that its brand new and if, it has any old parts in it thats on him cause his company installed it a week ago. He then says well Im with Lion Home Services and you had Benjamin Flankin plumbing install it. At this point Im super angry cause I can tell that Lion Home Services is pretending to be both companies and so I call Benjamin Franklin Corporate or as close as I can find to it. They inform me that Lion Home Services is not a sister company but a fraudulent company started by ex employees using there company shirts and name but is not them...At this point I'm so angry I'm getting ready to get a lawyer. Fast forward 1 year... I have a water leak in my ceiling and call Benjamin Franklin plumbing to come look at it. The tech was extremely nice and from what I can tell does a great job. 2500.00 dollars for maybe 5 hours of work. As I'm going out that evening I see a sign in my yard saying Lion Home Services like one of those cheap realty signs. I just about LOSE my ***. I'm so angry that I'm on the phone with everyone. This guy had a Benjamin Franklin shirt on, he had been texting me with a Benjamin Franklin logos and after everything I find out hes actually with Lion Home Services and yet again...I got scammed. This company makes my stomach hurt every time I see one of there vehicles. I'm going to consider legal actions. This cant be legal.

PLEASE BEWARE - I wish I would've taken the time to check reviews of this company first, but when you're in a situation of not having a working toilet, and they are on-site already, you tend to have to take their word. I hope this helps others steer clear of this company. Look at all the reviews (ComplaintsBoard.com, ***, etc.) and they are all very similar to my experience; overpriced, lazy work, etc. I am a small business owner as well and made an attempt to call the office and ask for a manager to call me, to give them a chance to explain and/or correct, but still have not received a call a week and a half later. I will be very fair and factual in the details and let you decide if it's the kind of company you want to do business with and happy to update the review if I am contacted by the company for a resolution. Service Date: 3/9 Issue: Toilet clogged/not flushing Summary: We had a bathroom with a toilet that wasn't flushing. Company came and attempted to pull toilet and plunge = $29 dispatch fee + $276 for the attempt. No resolution. Next - tried to snake/cable down the pipe = $398. No resolution. Next - used camera and found spot outside where pipe was blocked and was going to require digging up the pipe to determine blockage. This is where things get very expensive. They charged $4,979 do dig this one spot up. It was an all dirt area, no more than 3 feet deep, and a basic PVC pipe (septic system). In full transparency, they did quote me the amount prior to me agreeing to proceed, but as I mentioned above, when they have the people and equipment there already and it's an urgent situation, it's hard to send them home for time to get other quotes. I agreed to move forward at this point. Still not a full resolution. Next - After digging up this one spot they determined there was an additional 5 feet of pipe that was crushed. Unsure when this happened, but would require fixing as well. They quoted an additional $2,768 to repair. Again, an extremely basic dig of less than 3 feet deep, basic PVC pipe, and all dirt with no landscaping, building, concrete, etc. to dig around. After already spending over $5,000 to get to this point, and it already partially dug, I decided to let them continue to just get it done. This finally resolved our issue. The next day I contacted three other long-time reputable companies in the area and asked for a quote of this exact dig/repair. The lowest was $3,000 and the highest was $3,800. All FAR below the nearly $8,000 I paid for just an afternoon of work! I was blown away at how much I was ripped off. Never being through this type of work before, and in the situation we were in without a working bathroom, I didn't even know a general range of these services; I wish I would've. After getting these other quotes I did ask for a manager to call me to review the charges and ensure they were correct and accurate, but have not received a call yet (week and a half later). I know they are going to point to the fact that they quote and get acceptance of charges prior to doing work, which is correct, but evaluating other quotes it's hard to believe they are truly 2X the price of their competition and I still think there had to be an error. I'm all for paying small premiums for better work, but no one should be paying prices like this for such basic services. I'm unable to attach pictures of the area to show that it was in fact a very short run of pipe, very very basic digging in a dirt area, and even very lazy and sloppy on the backfill/smoothing out to get it back to normal.

Lyons home service came out because I needed my hvac ducts sealed
Lyons home service came out because I needed my hvac ducts sealed. My house was getting dusty and cold I was just diagnosed with terminal cancer and wanted to have a warm home and seal ducts so I don't breath contaminated air. The charged me 2,600 dollars to *** my ducts and I feel more cold air than I did before. I called them and they just give me the run around. I feel like they ripped me off I really thought they were going to seal the ducts so I don't have cold air coming in the ducts.

Lion H S replaced a water heater on August working with a home warranty I had on the home. The technician added additional work to bring the house up to code. They took pictures of the work, detailed their work including permits, and sent it to the home warranty group who reimbursed them a set amount while I covered their difference. Six months later the water heater pilot light went out, there was corrosion already on the water heater and the top lips melted. The Lion tech fixed it by tightening a bolt. I asked to affirm the warranty would be good for the labor if the heater died. I was given the supervisor name. I called 2x a week for four weeks until he finally returned my call. When he saw the work he said he would guarantee the warranty if I paid them $ 120 to remove the original valve where the leak came from. Two second opinions said their work was not up to code and they overcharged me. I checked with the city and there was no permit ever pulled or inspection.
The company, Lion Home Service, was contracted to replace and install a new whole house fan in my home
The company, Lion Home Service, was contracted to replace and install a new whole house fan in my home. First off they got the wrong fan and almost installed it until I caught the problem. They came back with the right fan and then wanted to charge more money for installation due to a wiring issue. They said nothing about a wiring issue when we made the agreement. They ended up cutting two more holes in my sheetrock that are still not repaired. I have called and called. The receptionist just ignores me at this point.

3/15 we called for water heater issue
3/15 we called for water heater issue. They sent us an apprentice who couldn't figure it out the problem. 3/16 lion sent a JW. Who without knowing the actual problem changed a thermocouple. This solution didn't fix the problem. Tech told us that he need to try now the pilot assembly but it will cost us 6 times more and to do it ourselves or with the warranty since the unit is 9 months old. Didn't fix it and charged us $368. The piece he changed it is part of the pilot assembly. He didn't have any knowledge of his trade, took advantage my fiance didn't know much about this and waste out time and money. I get the charge for dispatch, he could take the new part out and take it back with him. I don't even know if he even installed it. I want my money back minus the $29 dispatch fee he charged us. Invoice ***.

We purchased a new air conditioning unit in May and have had nothing but problems with it ever since. We've been vary patient with watching Lion do repair after repair for the past year to try to get it working properly, but it has never worked consistently for more than a month. They have replaced thermostats, fixed coolant leaks, tried to blame it on a dirty filter. Even when it is working "properly" and cooling the main floor to the correct temperature, it is 10 degrees hotter upstairs (but when we asked if we needed a two-zone system when it was being installed, they said definitely not - one system was fine.) Our house has been uncomfortable to live in during the summer time. You would think after all we have been through, that we would be a high-priority customer. That is not the case. Even though we had yet another round of repairs done approximately one month ago, our system stopped working again yesterday. We called for service right away and were told someone would be out the next morning, between 8am-12pm. Even though we had plans scheduled, we cancelled them because this was a very important repair as we have out of town family coming in tonight. Noon came and went. When we called to find out when our service tech would be here, we were told Lion was understaffed and would not make it here today. No one called us to tell us that, which is incredibly bad customer service. We were told someone could come out tomorrow. My husband and I are both taking vacation days tomorrow to spend time with our family - we have had this planned for months and now are being told that because Lion failed to show up for an appointment we had, we have to cancel our plans and stay home if we hope to have a one-year-old air conditioning unit work? We have sunk so much extra money into high electric bills (due to the fan constantly running to try unsuccesfully to cool the house), swamp coolers and fans - and now we have to sacrifice some family vacation time as well? We're done being patient, because our patience has not worked. We spent thousands of dollars on a product that doesn't work, and yet there is so sense of urgency from Lion. In return all we've had is unsuccessful repairs and now a no-show appointment.

On August 25th I called Lion Home Services to have them fix the Main Power line sitting on my patio roof due to previous owner
On August 25th I called Lion Home Services to have them fix the Main Power line sitting on my patio roof due to previous owner. An electrician came out gave me an estimate of $6411.90 which I put $3205.95 down on my ***. After talking with friends of mine telling me that they are charging me way too much I called Lion Home Services on August 26th to cancel the scheduled appointment for September 2nd and refund the amount I put down to get other estimates. They said that they would have someone call me regarding this, which no one has called me about this issue. I have called them everyday, except Sunday August 30th, since to get this resolved. I did get another estimate to have this power line corrected for $2300. I called Lion Home Services again today, August 31st, with no resolution and them saying that someone will call you back.

I hired this company to replace some roofs on multiple businesses. I paid them in full for their services and now I have received liens on my property because this company did not pay its supply bills related to the job. I am trying to get them to pay their debt, but they will not answer emails or calls nor take any action.
I contracted Lion Home Services to remove/replace an existing air conditioner and air handler. They completed the job, however, I asked for and have never received a detailed invoice showing the following: all parts/material/labor including prices and also warranty information for all components of the job.
We purchased a furnace and a/c system with an upgrade to our electrical system
We purchased a furnace and a/c system with an upgrade to our electrical system. The technicians installed the a/c and heating units on 2/4 and then the electrician and his team came out on 2/25 both teams worked late into the night to get us heat and electricity. They asked us to call our city to schedule an inspection, which we did. the city came out and inspected the work on 2/28 and installed a new pedestal (to improve our service to 200 amps) That is when the problems started. We have had to reach out to this company over and over and as of today, 4/8 they have not come back and finished the job. We deeply regret paying them in full, because if we had not, they probably would have completed the work. They have not reached out to us, we have always had to call them. I asked for a supervisor to call on Monday April 6th and have yet to receive a call back.

During a free furnace inspection, a service provider noted my humidifier needed a part.
During a free furnace inspection, a service provider from A Lion Home Services mentioned my humidifier 800 required a steam canister and dynamic filter replacement. He showed me a picture of the clogged filter. I inquired about sourcing the parts, and he offered to procure and install them immediately. I agreed to a $400 charge on my Visa for the service. He returned that afternoon for the installation. Discussing the cost with my daughter, she found the parts online for $110, prompting me to question the charge. I've contacted Lion Home Services for clarification but haven't received a reply.

Lion H S replaced a water heater on August working with a home warranty I had on the home
6/23 hired Ben Franklin Plumbing to clear sewer line
6/23 hired Ben Franklin Plumbing to clear sewer line. Lion Home Services was provider of service once at location. They examined jobsite & quoted $400/job. Exorbitant price but I was on vacation & authorized work on phone. Did not see contract. Was never notified if clog was beyond 100 ft, additl. charge of $290 on top of $400 plus $29 service fee. They started job. When employee ran out the 100Ft. of snake he stopped. He went back to office to get another snake. Told me new job cost was now $719! I talked w/manager (Cory) we discussed unresolved stoppage/outrageous price. He agreed to send the employee back next morning finish job/resolve pricing. They knew how much snake they needed because they inspected job before starting.Cory said he would call me in the morning. By 12pm called Lion was told unless I paid $719 work stopped. Cut our PAID vacation short 2 return home. They did job that should have cost $100! Hid under Ben Franklin name/hyper inflated price/no contract rec'd.

We bought a new AC/Furnace from Lion back in July
We bought a new AC/Furnace from Lion back in July . From day one, there were issues with the AC unit freezing up. First, it was because the unit was too big, they installed a size down to fix this issue. Everything seemed to be working fine until in June this year, 2021, our unit started freezing up. The first few techs we had come out couldn't find the issue and didn't bother opening up the panel to the unit in the basement to actually look into it to see if it was indeed freezing up. It wasn't until their 4th or 5th tech that she actually opened up the panel to see that it was indeed freezing up. At this point, she thought she had found the issue, crossed wires. It worked for the remainder of the day but no longer worked the following morning. I called the following day for a tech and they told me one would be out that day, no one showed. I called today, they said they pushed yesterdays out to today, again, no one showed today. I'm getting tired of the lies and want it fixed

We had enrolled in a customer care program with a company that Lion Home Service took over and we felt somewhat compelled to use their services
We had enrolled in a customer care program with a company that Lion Home Service took over and we felt somewhat compelled to use their services. Over the last 5 months I have made three different appoints with them. On the first two appointments, the tech failed to show up within the appointment window and I had to call the company for the tech's status. On neither occasion did the tech show up on the appointed day. I called and complained and made a another appointment after promises were made by the company to do better. This time the tech called and said he was not coming 5 minutes before my appointment window ended. I called asking for a pro-rated refund from my service plan, which the company failed to provide. The company states that because I used the total care program for other purchases that a refund is unwarranted. I contend that the company is no longer providing the services under the program for which I paid for, which included priority treatment for customer care club members. I believe that discounts provided for past purchases do not alleviate the company for further performance of our agreement.

I contracted with Lion in April to replace an existing AC system, including a new air handler which sits in the attic
I contracted with Lion in April to replace an existing AC system, including a new air handler which sits in the attic. The new system included a one year pars/labor warranty and a 10 year warranty on the parts. They completed the work and the unit was running fine up until 7/6. We returned from being out of town for a week and found water on the hardwood floor under the vents for the air handler. I called Lion first thing on 7/6 and was placed on a wait list which was disappointing since I purchased their "Customer Care Program" which was supposed to give me priority scheduling. After calling them several times, the tech finally arrived at 5:00PM that same day and found that a critical part was missing from the initial installation. That part is used to level the pan which catches and drains away any moisture from the coils. He placed a couple of temp leaving block under the unit and left. One of the "team leaders" at Lion (Robert) called on 7/7 to discuss the situation. I voiced my concern with water damage to the insulation and wood framing around the air handler. We agreed a full inspection would be required once the new part arrives. The unit started leaking water again later on 7/7 and I called Lion to again request a tech. Robert finally called back late on 7/7 to say the tech would not be able to arrive until 7-8 PM. I stated that was too late ( *** wouldn't/t be able to see anything in the attic). The tech was then scheduled to 7/8 between 1-5 PM. I called Lion early on 7/8 to ask for a estimate on when the part would arrive: no information available. The dispatcher stated he would find out and call me back by 9-9:30 AM. I waited until 9:45 AM and called Lion again: no update available. I asked for the matter to be escalated to the owner of the business. We have pans on the floor to catch moisture in hopes of preventing damage to the hardwood floor. Very poor customer service! Late callbacks, no callbacks, no updates, no priority from Lion.

Professional and kind. Did a very complete job. Showed up on time
The whole business is great! Steven is amazing and John just did great work on my drains!
Taylor was sent to my condo. Very nice straight forward. Did the job, cleaned up after himself and was very kind.
