Malindo Airways flight delayed

Hi why malindo air is always late... First my flight from laohore to kualalumpur is late 1 hour and now from kuala lumpur to jakarta is late 4 hours are you kiddind with passengers? You think with breakfast voucher you can pay my four hours. Would you late your flight for me if I give one time food you your all aeroplane staff?. It is the shameful act of gm of your company... Malindo Airways baggage misinformation and money theft

I bought a ticket from Kathmandu to Kuala Lumpur (OD 183) on 20 Sept. The ticket said it included 20 kg checkin baggage. This was confirmed by the confirmation message from Malindo. When I went to check in my bag, the clerk said it didn't show on his computer and I would have to pay USD 400.00 to put my bag on the plane. The only other option was for me to remove the bag from the airport and then come back to get my boarding pass. Malindo air essentially wanted to hold my bag hostage for the payment of USD 400.00. I thereafter wrote a formal complaint on the flight between KTM and KUL and discussed this with the purser who said she would make sure this was addressed. I have heard nothing from Malindo. This caused quite a lot of trouble for me. I will never fly Malindo again. Terrible service.

Malindo Airways refund of ticket – baggage missing.

Sub: Refund of Ticket - Luggage Missing.

I had booked my flight ticket from Guangzhou to Tiruchchirappalli ( PNR No : T66BKP). The flight details are given below.

28/09/2019 Guangzhou to Kuala Lumpur OD 613 3:10
28/09/2019 Kuala Lumpur to Tiruchchirappalli OD 221 8:20

My final destination was Kannur, Kerala. For that I had booked a flight from Tiruchchirappalli to Cochin and a train ticket from Cochin to Kannur. (Copy of the tickets are attached)

Due to the delay of OD 613, I missed all the above flights and train. I asked the officer in the counter to issue a ticket to Cochin. But they refused it and offered a ticket to Tiruchchirappalli at 9:00 PM the same day. It was not acceptable for me because I could not find out any flight or Train to my final destination Kannur. So I booked a new ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Kannur in Indigo Airlines. I was informed that I can collect my luggage at the malindo counter in level 5. When I approached the counter, they informed me that my luggage is already sent to Tiruchchirappalli. I have already registered a complaint regarding this (KULOD18693/28SEP2019/0349GMT).

In these circumstances, I kindly request you to refund the ticket fare and send my luggage to Kannur International Airport

Malindo Airways refund status

I have called up customer service line every month since April 2019 and emailed more than 5 times from April 2019 but I have not get this refund settled.

I have spoken to the customer care service staff on 26th September at 3.46pm by the name of Nurul and Nurul mentioned she will get the email team to look into this matter and reply within 1-2 days but there is no respond until now.

I have made another call this morning at 8.47am on 2nd October, spoken to Amirah and Amirah mentioned the same thing as Nurul that email team will reply to my email with regards to my refund status. I hope I could get a reply as soon as possible as this matter has been dragging way too long.

To sum up this case, Malindo refunded RM297.48 to my account on 23rd April, however it was charged back RM297.48 again on 24th April. My refund status showing in Malindo system saying that "IT HAS BEEN PROCESSED" however, I had never gotten the refund after 24th April.

Please help to look into this asap.

Malindo Airways missing luggage

I was just on a connecting flight from Sri Lanka Colombo leaving on 1st Oct via Kuala Lumpur to Vietnam Hanoi and my luggage didn't arrive as I was reassured it would in Sri Lanka. First of all our 1st flight OD 186 was delayed by 2 hours making the connecting flight very difficult to catch and then the 2nd flight OD 571 didn't include my luggage. When I reported to the lost and found desk they said they could see that luggage from this flight would arrive tomorrow but they couldn't explain how I was the only person to be missing my luggage, they said I couldn't speak to anyone from Malinda Airline and they said they couldn't call Kuala Lumpur to guarentee my luggage is actually there and not lost entirely. I am unbelievably upset by this - starting my 3 month trip without my bag which includes everything I need - contact lenses, glasses, medication, clothes, technological equipment etc. If this is lost I will not only lose £1000s but will have to end my trip in order to go home and get items I require on a daily basis. Can someone get back to me ASAP to confirm the location of my suitcase and what compensation I am available for said items if they arrive a day late or god forbid are lost entirely.

Malindo Airways wrong baggage information

Hi. I and my 3 friends had booked our flight tickets to Bali via MakeMyTrip. The e-ticket showed that our luggage was included as 7 kgs (cabin luggage) and 15 kgs (cargo luggage).
We faced no issue while our journey to Bali on 15th Sept 2019. But during our return journey on 20th Sept 2019, when we tried boarding the flight OD-174 (DPS-KUL) scheduled at 12:45 pm; the ground staff told us that our luggage wasn't included. They even refused to acknowledge the data on e-ticket saying that it was the booking agency's fault. There was no option available for us and nobody was ready to help us. They told that we had to pay extra money for the luggage that we had. According to the Indian currency, the payable amount was Rs. 23690. We didn't have that huge amount with us in any currency. Finally, after crying and requesting to lengths, they let us board the flight and asked to make the payment once we reached Mumbai airport. And as we got out of our flight OD-215 (KUL-BOM), a guy from Malindo's ground staff was waiting with a paper in his hands with our names on it. It was so humiliating when people were staring at us as if we committed some crime. We paid Rs. 23690 via the SBI card and got a receipt. But the entire incident killed our happiness of vacation. We went through such mental pressure and humiliation that honestly, I would never ever want to travel via Malindo again. I don't know whose fault was there in this whole thing. but I just want my money back. I still have all the soft copies and mails which prove that the luggage was shown included and we were charged incorrectly. I request you to look into this and help us. Looking forward to your response.

Malindo Airways luggage not yet returned

This is to inform you that I missed the flight from Malaysia to Chennai yesterday night at 22.00 on 25/09/2019.kindly return the luggage of mine and cousin who travelled along with me from australia. The flight was from Perth, Australia to Chennai MAA via malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We missed the flight due to communication gap due to the airline office. I have lost Rs.22, 000/- INR due to this. Again my luggage from australia has reached Chennai last night 25/09/2019. Now I'm waiting long time to get my luggage. Kindly respond sooner.

Malindo Airways insurance

Hi there.

On the 17th Sep I booked return flights for my fiancé and to Bali for our wedding next year in March.

A human error has occurred which unfortunately I did not see nor pick up until after the transaction. Myself and my partner both have our own travel insurance through my credit card and somehow I have managed to select insurance for myself through your company accidentally.

As soon as I received the email from your company I immediately emailed customer care explaining that this was a clear human error where I had accidentally selected for travel insurance for myself (which I have no recollection doing) Not only that I did not select insurance for fiancé so surely this can be seen as a clear human error.

I would of completely understood not getting a refund if I hadn't contacted immediately and had left it for a few days, but I didn't, I noticed and emailed straight away, which I have proof of.

From the trail of emails between customer care and myself they are not willing to give me my refund which I am extremely disappointed and very upset about. We have traveled with Malindo for many years and have loved the service.

I am asking ever so nicely if someone can please review my case and ensure that I do get my refund. We have a wedding to pay for and loosing money like this is just not fair especially when it was a clear human error.

I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your time in looking into this.

Malindo Airways extremely poor service!!

I made online booking on 19September for a flight on 22Sept, in which amount clearly deducted from my bank account, but up till 20Sept there was no booking number given.

I called the airline center on 20th, the operator in charge asked me to email all the details including proof of bank payment to the customercare email.

It was not till the next day on 21st till I get a reply from them which only stated the obvious, I need to include all the payment details blablabla.. so I replied immediately giving all the details I could.

Worrying that my flight is suppose to be the next day, I was anxiously waiting for their email, but still no reply. Couldnt take the waiting anymore, I called the center again TWICE, but my call got off in the middle of conversation. The only thing that the lady over the phone told me was to wait in the line while she was checking the email.
And yeah as expected no call back! So I called the center again, and its another person answering so I have to tell the problem from the beginning and guess what? The call was cut off during midcall again. It's almost 10pm and obviously line would be busy, so I didnt manage to call again, deciding to wait till next morning till I make my call again.

So today 22Sept, I made my call, waiting around 10minutes to speak to the airline staff, he was nice although I was starting to loss my patience already. He said he was going to check with the email staff to find out whats happening. He said he's gonna call me back in 15minutes.

He called after ONE HOUR saying sorry that they couldn't issue a ticket for me today although the amount already been deducted from my bank account. He suggested me to buy a new ticket. He said he will proceed with refund process and usually takes about 2weeks before the money being credited into my account.

Dear MALINDO AIR staffs who involved in this issue, I hope you realise how much you ruined my day, I have an important course in Tawau tomorrow, now I have to take detour to Lahad Datu, and drive another 2hours to reach Tawau. I hope you realise that Money is not the only thing that matters here. Its your poor management skills, late email reply, and I would say poor online booking service that made my day so difficult today. Thank you for teaching me not to fly with Malindo Air again!

Malindo Airways refund claim

I made cancellation to 2 of my bookings through the online form. I called to customer service to check on my refund status after a month as I don't get my refund back. I made 3 calls within 2 weeks and I only get a call returned on the status. I was being told that i'll get my refund back after 2 weeks for both of my cancellation. And the whole process took more than 30 days as stated. Ended up, I received a voucher for the "refund" instead of debit or cash. The value of the voucher is only 5% of the total flight tickets.

Malindo Airways flight cancellation

My flight supposed to be today OD1015 from kota kinabalu to kuala lumpur 11 sep 2019, departing at 1835 hrs but my flight was cancelled and they rebooked me another flight on OD1017 departing tomorrow at 12 sep 2019 at 2125hrs. I was upset because I need to go to work tomorrow morning so I had to buy another ticket. Should at least rebooked me a ticket on same date. Waste of money, btw can I refund the ticket money? Because I bought the ticket by airpaz then I called them, they said I need to contact the airlines( Malindo airways). Tq

Malindo Airways air stewardess (female)

When I was on board I talked twice with difffrent stewardess I want to buy perfume .They ask me wait. When they separate the boarding card (white) I request for 7 because I got 7family members and a pen. In the end they only give me the card but no pen. Then I request again, she ask me to wait again (not same stewardess) then after a quite long time I request again with another stewardess also ask me to wait. Until we almost departure then I got ONE pen to fill up 7 passports. I try as fast as I could to fill in the card. When I left only one signature and ic only they also not allow me to fill in, I request for only 1min to fill up. (3of them)They start to sarcastic me, next time bring your own pen u cannot think we will give u pen. Then keep shout at me and laugh at our family. The end I get angry I start to video up. One of the stewardess named syahirah laugh and shout at our family again and said (Tiada orang akan layan you, Video pun tak guna) then 3of them keep laugh loud. After tat one of the stewardess come from infront and ask about the situation. Then I clarify everything to her. And those three stewardess also claims tat their RUDE attitude but never admit their fault and keep repeat "she should bring her own pen but not lent from us. Scared what" OMG this is the 1st time I learnt about Malindo Service really BAD. The stewardess who come last keep say sorry with me. I told her not your fault only three of them BAD services. Dun worry I won't compalint u. Those three saw I Wrote the feedback form with SLOW RESPONE that is why they are so RUDE to us. If the feedback form only can write good feedback then I think Malindo should written down there but not let customer to fill in the Truely Feedback. This incident took place in the Malindo flight OD 151 on 10th January 2020. The flight was bound to Perth from Kulalumpur. My wife was very sick on that day with dry cough and sore throat. As soon as we boarded the flight I requested a flight attendant to provide my wife a cup of lemon and ginger tea witch was available in the menu. She bluntly answered that I should wait until the food trolley come to my area. So I waited patiently and the food trolley arrived I ordered a cup of lemon and ginger tea together with a mini whisky bottled and a can of beer. Total cost RM35/=, and I made a payment RM100/= note. She delivered me the whisky and beer and she went away with the promise of bringing me the lemon and ginger tea soon.
This whole episode happened around 10.30 am.

Unfortunately after my meal I was fallen sleep and woke up around 12.30pm. Then my wife complain me that she did not received the ordered cup of tea which I have paid already. It was very sad to mention that my wife was lamenting saying that she gets a ‘blood taste’ in her throat. I was surprised that having paid for tea at 10.30 but it wasn’t served until 12.30pm. Then I pressed the service button to call upon a flight attendant. The calling light was on for 25 minute and nobody cared to respond my call. At this moment I could not bear this suffering any longer and I straight away I walked up to the flight pantry.
Then the flight attendant who took my money from me came to me and I was highly Annoyed, my wife told her that she could take up this matter with your higher management.
Then the flight attendant spoke to us arrogant and sarcastic manner and went on that she was very busy. Also told that she will this matter to her supervisor. I waited some time and went to the toilet which is in the vicinity of pantry, and the same flight attendant gave me a cup of tea to serve my wife. However I refused to do so and I instead for her to deliver the tea to my wife, and the time was 12.50pm.
By this time my wife was highly separated and angry over the whole issue and my wife refused to accept the tea, and she promptly took it away.
Then there was another flight attendant nearby and my wife asked the name of that trouble making flight attendant. Then she informed my wife she will send the same flight attendant to her to disclose her name.
A little while later she came and gave her name as “Hyania”, and then my wife asked her supervisor’s name.
ALSO ASKED HER BALANCE CASH OF MY RM100/= WHICH I PAID HER WHEN ORDERING REFRESHMENT.
After a little while she brought he balance cash and complain form. My wife informed her that she will hand over the complaint direct to the top management of the airline in order to investigate for this allegation.
I strongly believe, this flight attendant tried for me to forget to obtain my balance money, where she could have little fortune on forgotten cash balance once I disembarked the flight in Perth.

Malindo Airways flight delay

My flight is OD302, supposedly take off at 12.05 from KualaLumpur to Bandung. I received email and sms informed that the flight delayed until 13.25pm.

However until 13.18, we still waiting in the boarding room without any information.

I asked the officer and he said that the flight just came and now under cleaning.

My question is why there is no information until when we need to wait or if the flight will be delay again.

Malindo Airways flight delay

I am so disappointed on the airlines of Malindo air which always delay. Previously I have take this airlines quite a few times. It always delay like around 2 or three hours which quite frustrated me. Previously I have not urgent things to do so I can spend my precious time to wait. But today the flight OD 2404, I AM ONE OF THE PASSENGER. TAN CHIN MENG..I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IT RESCHEDULE IT'S FLIGHT TO AROUND 9 OR 10PM WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE FLIED ON 5.00PM ...IT DELAY SO LONG ..IT RESULTS IN I HAVE A HUGE LOSS DUE TO I HAVE ONE OF THE IMPORTANT MEETING WHICH I MISSED OUT. I REALLY DISAPPOINTED ON THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDE. I HOPE U ALL CAN PROVIDE ME A VALID REASON.

Malindo Airways staff service

Flight OD1016 on 23 August 2019

The flight was scheduled on 1800 from Kuala Lumpur to 2040 Kota Kinabalu, but instead was rescheduled to 24 August 0120 Kuala Lumpur to 0359 Kota Kinabalu.

The counter staff could have notify me about the delay by the time i give her the mobile boarding pass (the mobile boarding pass shows schedule"on time"). But no, only when i got the counter boarding pass, and after i walk away with the pass quickly (as there was a long queue at the back) and check afterwards only i knew the timing has changed.

Went back to confirm with staff, and only notify me there was a delay at that time. Already check in my baggage and could not get it back to re-book another earlier flight with another airline.

Luckily, it was my flight back home after attending work seminar, not on the flight to attend the seminar, otherwise it would COST MY JOB!

It can be improved by earlier sms and email notification, not just about 1 hour before departure. Many of the guest would have check in their baggage by then.

Malindo Airways flight boarding gate change leading to harassment

This is regarding flight od 205 from KL to Delhi on 21 August, 1800 hrs boarding gates switching at last minute resulting in miscommunication and passenger's flight being missed.
Two passengers, a mother who has trouble in deciphering the announcement with a mentally challenged child were forced to pay penalty by malindo air ground staff for their own last minute changes.
It is the responsibility of the staff to announce and guide the passengers waiting on gate number 6 to gate number 8 if any such last minute modifications are impacting travel.

We are extremely disappointed with this misdemeanours at the flights staff end which led to such harassment of a lady and her handicapped child.

I request to lodge a complaint and address it at the earliest.

Malindo Airways complimentary meal on international flight

This complaint is on behalf of my parents.. they travelled to bali today on 21 st aug 2019
on OD 171 departing from kul after 16:30.

Malindo air website states that there is a complimentary meal for every international flight of above 3 hrs.
As per their tickets (under pnr- XMWSVJ) their flight time was for 3 hrs and 10 mins - 18:25 to 21:35.

After a very long layover at kul, my parents got a sandwich on their flight.. for which they should have got a complimentary meal ( as promised on the website) .. n being an x cabin crew i do realise that as per the flight timings in the evenin they should have been served a proper meal ..

This is absolute dishonesty showing fake promise on the website and i reassured my parents before booking with malindo that its complimentary Meal and not Snack

Malindo Airways punctuality

OD1157. 16.8.19. Flight booked at 2.30pm. From Penang to subang. Received notification saying ‘retimed' to 3.15pm at 11.30am on the day itself. Then further delayed to 3.50pm. We are all upset and dissapointed with the delay cos it's more than an hour delayed. Might as well we book the latter flight since the beginning. We asked the boarding gate counter staff, they assured us there will be no further delayed and the plane can depart at 3.50pm and we can start boarding at 3.40pm. Finally, the plane arrived at 3.53pm, and pending passengers to touch down and reload oil, unload luggages etc ... we not even board the plane yet at 4.15. This is not acceptable at all. Second time with malindo and both were late experience. Will not consider malindo in the future.

Malindo Airways check in counter staff

I am at Bali International Airport travelling to kuala lampur from flight no OD325 my name is rounak Todi..
1.all screen are showing wrong information and 2nd your staff is rude about accepting the same and due to which I have wasted 1hr standing in line and still they are asking me to wait more because of your mistake I can see why people don't prefer Malindo.person sitting on counter 7 on 11th 9:09am (current time) is acting so smart I cannot say a word if this is how you will continue giving services I am sorry but you will soon get sued by many for harassment I am attaching a picture showing my flight number is other side and staff has asked me to stand on lion air line.

Malindo Airways itinerary

I booked and paid for a flight from Brisbane to Bali on the... (31/7/2019... also with a return on the 30/01/2020)... with Malando Air.
I have not been sent my Itinerary by email.
I am still waiting to receive it.
I have made a number of attempts to Malando Air by email, requesting my itinerary be sent to me... and what air port do I go to.
I still have no reply and still no itinerary... I would like help please with this matter.

The next question is.. should I go directly to the a air port with out a itinerary and see if they can solve it at the air port before the flight.

+ now I have to fond out what air port Malando will be departing from in Brisbane but which air port? their are 3 different air ports in Brisbane qld Australia... I DO WAIT YOUR REPLY.

I booked flight tickets fight from ( Brisbane to Bali ) on the 31/7/19 with a return

30/1/20 i have not received my itinerary.I have emailed Malanto air on 4 occasions and

received no reply about my itinerary...I need to know should i go directly to the air port

and let them know i have not been sent a itinerary ++++ i have to now work out what

air port Malanto is flying from all i know at present is Brisbane air port but which one.I

really would like some real help about this matter.
