I purchased a Maytag washer from Lowes. It was delivered by what they call a 'third party', although the delivery men drove a Lowes truck. The washer did not arrive in a carton, nor did it have the top Energy Guide or the registration taped to the lid. They handed me the registration form. The washer hoses were hooked up and the men left. They did not test the washer. The washer never worked right. The basket slammed around inside. Lowes sent out two other 'third party' people who allegedly leveled the washer and left. The did not use a level to measure if it was level. The basket still slammed around. Lowe's sent out another two 'third party' men. One took the time to allegedly level the washer although he did not have a level. He took the time to run it and said it wasn't a leveling problem, it was a loose basket problem. He pointed to the lid and said "That's why Maytag puts that notice on the lid about the 10 year warranty on the basket." He said he would "put in a work order". Nothing was done. I went to Lowe's and a manager said Lowe's doesn't do work orders! They said they would replace that washer. A replacement washer was brought in a carton, it had the Energy Guide and registration paper attached to the lid. The 'third party' people attached the hoses from the first washer then handed me the pack of new hoses telling me to get my money back. The 'third party' people should have taken the hoses from the first washer when they hauled it away and used the new hoses that came with the replacement washer. But what do I know? The one they hauled away has no hoses with it. The 'third party' person allegedly leveled the washer and left. I did a small load set to give it a test drive and still the * machine shook. The outflow pipe vibrates so much it is going to pop out and flood the room. I went back to Lowe's this is what I was told by Customer Service: "Call Whirlpool. They'll get someone out to fix it, no charge." I have a call into Whirlpool today and awaiting a call back. I spoke to a person in Lowe's appliance department and they said: "Impeller machines do that". No they don't, my last machine had an impeller and worked fine for 12 years! Then the rude person said "Buy another brand.". Right about now I'm ready to tell Lowe's to go you know where. I've owned three homes, have bought appliances, fencing, flooring, light fixtures, you name it from Lowe's. Now I'm I will never trust Lowe's again for any purchases
Desired outcome: FIX THIS NEW MACHINE SO IT WORKS AS IT SHOULD!
