Over 3 months trying to get warranty repair on the broken dishwasher. When you call Maytag average hold time is 45min. their contracted repair shop incompetent and has come 2x to fix unsuccessfully. Waiting over a month for a part so it can be fixed.

I received this part last week and it is not the right part that is P0#0644952551. I have NOT installed or taken it out of the packaging since I have found out the real problem is the temperature sensor that is at fault. When I called in to return the part I was told, because of your electronic policy, by the CSR and Supervisor there are no refunds. That is not an acceptable answer or policy since I have not even touched the part sent to me and you would resell the part again since there are no issues whatsoever that I have caused to render it unsellable again. I spoke today to the Supervisor and all I heard from them is I will be receiving a call from someone higher up within 48 hours. This part is $250 and I know whoever is reading this email would feel exactly the same way given the circumstances. Please give me satisfaction for full credit or will go as high up as I need to for as long as I need to.

Washer will not spin in the spin cycle. Repair man said the plastic hub was stripped. When the hub was removed. The metal shaft was rusted and stripped also requiring the gearbox to be replaced washer is only 2.5 years old. The estimated cost to fix will be 3 to 4 hundred dollars. Looking on line this seems to be a common problem with this machine. This should not happen with less than 3 years of use for a family of 2. Can Maytag help with this issue.

Issues with this washer from day one after 30 days completely quit & it took a month and a half between waiting on customer service, coordinating repairmen and getting part that was on backorder. Only spins out 1/2 of the time & now wrapping our good clothing around the agitator completely. Cost me tons of time and money going to the laundry in August & September & Now the temp is in the teens! Now it is messed up again and I dread going through this whole hassle again.

Purchase date :07/22/15 for $2, 248.75/10/26/2016, parts replace wpw10705283 board, w10619962 heater, wpw10443217 valve, wpw10589837 board, and here it is december 2020 and broken again front panel has little or no function, no ice, and no cold. I will never buy a maytag or whirlpool product again, 5 years from a product is unacceptable, that's$ 38.11 per month, I can do better. Im very unhappy, I had a whirlpool washer that lasted 4 only 4 years. Never again.

The digital display on our Maytag Washer model MVWB765FW, bought 3/22/2017, failed overnight (whilst the machine was not operating) after 3 1/2 years.
A reputable firm came out and diagnosed the problem, their report concluded that the Control Board had failed and needed replacing: they provided a verbal quote of $525 [! ] to do that.
The machine cost $600 and based on the expected life for washers (per Consumer Reports) of ten years would have a maximum residual value of $420 based on straight-line depreciation.
Bray and Scarf, from whom we bought the washer, told us that they had contacted Maytag and asked them what they were prepared to do about this failure: a week later and absolutely no response from the manufacturer. Apparently Maytag has no concern for their customers or their own reputation.
We made the mistake of buying this machine based on Maytag's reputation and a ten year warranty which appears to cover only parts unlikely to fail!
I purchased a Maytag MVWB765FW3 from Lowes with the Lowes Protection Plan. After two years the machine started making an incredibly loud noise on spin cycle that I can only compare to a 737 jet aircraft taking off. The 10 year Maytag warranty only covers the stainless steel drum and the motor, not the transmission, controls or other components. I contacted Lowes Protection Plan on November 1, 2021 andthey provided the name of a service company and repair date two weeks out. After 10 days, mid November I called the service company to confirm a time of arrival and was told "We refuse to do any work for Lowes Protection Plans, didn't they notify you?". I then called the Lowes Protection Plan again and they scheduled service a second time. After waiting several days I received an email from Lowes that the service had been cancelled because there was no one available in the Seattle area to fix the washer. No other remedy was offered. I checked and found service people immediately available. I called the Protection Plan again and each time was transferred, put on hold, told that a representative would call back and stalled. I next went to the Lowes store where I purchased the washer and 5 year service contract and asked to speak to a manager. The response at customer service was that the appliance manager had been notified and I was to wait on a bench at the Customer Service doorway. After one hour of waiting, the manager never appeared or talked to me and I was told by Customer Service that the Protection Plan was a different division and I needed to contact the plan phone number. I then researched and found the regional management contact for Lowes and spent even more time trying to obtain what was promised in the Plan Agreement. Finally, I received notice that the Protection Plan was going to do a buy back, but I needed to understand that this might take another 10 days. December went by with no payment and more stalling. I originally called the Lowes Protection Plan on November 1, 2021. It was finally resolved over two months later with a cash payment the first week of January 2022. The payment covered less than the cost of an equivalent replacement or estimated repair. I contacted a service technician who advised that the noise occurring on my 2 year old Maytag indicated a bearing or transmission failure and it would be cheaper to just buy a new washer. I am elderly, retired, have had a Lowes card for decades, spent tens of thousands of dollars with Lowes and will NEVER buy anything from Lowes again. Lessons Learned: I am cancelling my credit card and will not deal with Lowes or their Protection Plans. I will also never again buy Maytag. My first Maytag lasted 20 years. This one became a throw away after 2 years.

Phoned Coast appliances and they said anything other than the compressor is not covered but to try the the Appliance plan that we purchased. Coast said that it probably wouldn't be honored.
Their response dated December 2nd is enclosed. Noteworthy is their suggestion that this is a manufacturing flaw and that we should contact the manufacturer.
I called the Maytag toll free line and waited on line for 90 minutes. The woman tried to help me find the part but neither of us could locate the part on any of the diagrams. what she could recommend was a metal door hinge bracket that was definitely not the part.
I asked her if I could send her a picture of the broken piece in situ so that she would be in a better position to help.
She indicated that she couldn't see the image directly but gave me a email address and they would attach it to my file. letter attached. She also suggested that I might have better off if I had purchased a Maytag protection plan instead of the Coast appliances one but didn't definitely know if it would have covered the part that was defective.
On 17 Dec I phoned back after receiving a letter saying they had the photo.
The agent couldn't locate the letter or photo and once again suggested that the metal door bracket was possibly what I wanted (it wasn't)
She eventually located the photo and after a consultation in her office
that I need to buy the whole door at $625 (shipping extra)because Maytag doesn't supply the small plastic part that is broken .
I offered how this was completely unacceptable solution for what is clearly a manufacturing defect. I asked to speak to her supervisor who sympathized but indicated that Maytag Canada was not prepared to correct this problem .
I asked for a copy of the notes of our conversation but she indicated that Maytag doesnt do this.

Washing Machine-General customer service
2019 new Maytag washing machine was purchased in October 2020 from Sears in Dublin, GA. Beginning in December 2020 the machine started draining out of the bottom instead or the tubing. Started trying to contact Maytag on December 15, 2020. I was disconnected twice, maintenance referral was given to a company that doesn't service, wrong numbers were given, and finally I used the chat service. I was again referred to Massengil Expert Services but once I corrected and she tried to contact them, she corrected that they do not have a technician. I am now waiting the 3-5 days on a resource team to find a service tech. I paid too much for a new washing machine to be without a machine for this long. I should at least be reimbursed for the 1 hour I had to take leave to do the calling and the money spent in the laundry mat.

Maytag customer service is pathetic, impossible to deal with and should be closed down.. It takes a minimum of 40 minutes to connect to a customer service representative, then the fun starts. I am a 40 year customer with a brand new washer that does not work properly. After 3 service calls they determined that the gear box needs replacement. At the 21 day point i ordering the gear box, Maytag claims they sent the gear box to my repair center, (but have no tracking number} who claims they have not received it and they cannot follow-up with Maytag--so I must call Maytag and get them to call them.
I have spent over 300 minutes on the phone for three calls with no solution yet and best part is each customer service rep tells me what I have to do--they have no capability to make anything happen but seem to be able to send you around in a circle. Yep I always ask to talk to their supervisors who solve nothing and will not refer you to a higher level
The needed part is a gear box W11423758, my preference is to get a refund and apology from Maytag for wasting my time and making me feel embarrassed that I trusted Maytag

I am a terminally ill cancer patient taking daily chemotherapy and bought new Maytag appliances as a safeguard for my wife in August 2020. Maytag warranty customer service is so poor it is beyond belief. Our new washing machine caused problems from day one and after 3 service calls they determined the gear box needs replacement. The part has been on back order since last service call on 11/07/2020 and may be available around 01/21/2021. This is all the good news! I have made over 10 calls to Maytag customer service, [protected], wait time ranges from 40 to 60 minutes, the answered call often drops off with no call back option. I normally get referred to another department since no one seems to have an appropriate answer. Called maytag 11/9/20 for service they said g&g would come 11/23/20 which they did and stated had to order part and would take 5-10 bus. Days its now over 10 days no part. When g&g called they told me to contact maytag and see if they could get part. Tryed calling maytag kept being placed on hold from 1/2hr to 1hr and got no one. Is there anything you can due to help

I purchased an extended warranty through maytag direct. To get ahold of a representative is a complete joke. The online chat is all automated. I have been on hold for over an hour for live agent. My washer is broke. I have scheduled through a third party as maytag has made no response to me at all. I purchased an extended warranty for what? I am now paying 300.00 for a real person to come fix. Maytag... Are you just a computer?
New dishwasher inoperable within weeks
If Zero was an option, I would give you NO stars at all! We purchased a brand new dishwasher August 8th, 2020 at Lowe's in Sanford, FL. Switch my defective dishwasher! Yet another delay to wait for another replacement part on a BRAND NEW dishwasher we've owned for a couple of months ! Noooooooo ! This is no longer acceptable, It has been inoperable for the same amount of time we've owned! No No !
Now the dishwasher has a bad vent switch for the steam/humidity. F8/E4/E2. Error codes and I have to wait A G A I N for parts?!?! No! I better get the replacement unit this week, this is not acceptable. It is obvious we were sold a DEFECTIVE unit! Do I need to contact Better Business? Slander your company on social media to get results? We've been more than patient. It has been inoperable longer than we have owned it. We need a replacement unit or our money refunded - this is not acceptable!

I purchased this machine 2 years ago and have nothing but problems with it going out of balance. I have had the service people here many times and they have checked it and re-leveled it, tight down the nuts on the leveling feet and told me how to re-level it if it goes out of balance again. I have lost track of how many times I had to re-level it due to it going out of balance. I have has Maytag all my life and this has been one of the worst purchases I ever made. I feel they should have some type of guide rollers on the drum that help keep it balanced.

Purchased a Maytag MEDB855DC4 dryer along with a MVWB865GCO washer from Lowes on 10/10/19. On 11/17/20 the dryer stopped working. Called their Customer Experience Center and waited for an hour on hold. Finally just hung up and called an appliance technician. Technician came out two days later and told me the drive motor was burned out. Called the Maytag Customer Experience Center again and was told the drive motor was a special order and wouldn't be available until January 27th, 2021. What good is a limited warranty if the only part they warrant on a dryer takes over two months to arrive? This is a $900.00 dryer. Very disappointed in Maytag. Maytag is obviously not the same company they used to be.
We're in a pandemic. Appliances that are not in stock as well as parts that are not in stock are harder to get. For months some factories were closed, so nothing was being made. Also, items in stock have been taking longer to arrive because of all of the ordering online and therefore the high amount of deliveries.

Purchased washer in january of 2019. Has been worked on at least 3 times so far. Not spinning out now.. And company wants me to pay for the labor.
Don't see how that is fair after paying 600 dollars for it less than 2 years ago. I would like to have the option of replacing this model in the hopes that I could get one that is more dependable.

Purchased a full complement of maytag kitchen appliances back in 2015 at a total cost of near $4000. I have been a loyal maytag customer due to a great customer service experience that I had back in the mid-90s. Unfortunately, this latest purchase has been a total bust. At the 15 month mark, the fridge led module failed. Mind you, the incandescent bulb in my 20year old maytag fridge purchased back in the 90s has never been replaced! Fortunately, maytag did cover the cost of this repair even though it was out of the 12 month warrantee period. Next issue, dishwasher controller failed at the 19 month mark with no help from maytag-$550 parts+labor. Then, the gas range oven controller and dsi module failed at 28 months... Again no help from maytag and I was $760 lighter in my wallet. This same issue happens again at the 66 month mark... A bit more this time due to inflation $880. All said, very disappointed with maytag. Definitely riddled with quality issues with the electronics. Sadly, I will likely be shopping for commercial grade appliances soon to replace my tired maytag components. I had much higher expectations when parting with my $4000 back in 2015!
I purchased a Maytag stove (stainless) 8 years ago, paid near $1000. the handle for the stove has turned whitish, really unacceptable. For that price range, I expect a better quality. I called Maytag Canada and they did not want to replace the handle for free. Unacceptable from their part as this is a defect.

The next day, we connected the water to but the fridge's water valve was leaking (Manufacturer issue), unable to use the water dispenser and ice maker since. Service call been made but waiting on the parts since. Parts are taking a long time as per the repairer, unable to enjoy our new fridge to the fullest. Very disappointed in the product. Was going to buy a new range from them but will now consider purchasing from another brand.

I purchased this washer is February and it was delivered to my home in March when we closed on our brand new home. In August, I started to notice it may a loud grinding noise before it went into the spin cycle and never stopped spinning. It would just start over. This has been a nightmare. I called September 1, 2020 and a rep came the following day. Parts were order but one part was on back order. I did not know this until I contacted Maytag yo check on the status of my service request, as they sent the technician. After being on hold for and hour, I was told the part was on backorder and to call back on October 8, as the part should be available. Keep in mind, I can't use the washer, so I'm a month in. I called on October 8th and was told the part was on backorder until October 23, and I'd have to wait because I did not contact the and have the part ordered directlty through them, as if that's my role here. The part FINALLY came in, I called the repair technician the following week and they came out last week to install both parts (the part came in early). I washed a load and the washer was doing the EXACT same thing I reported September 1, 2020. I'm currently on hold and have been on hold for half an hour. TWO MONTHS! TWO Months I have to keep making these exhaustive calls because they sold me a piece of crap. The technician they keep sending doesn't have a clue. Just making a guess and meanwhile, I have to wait for him to figure it out and wait on hold to even find out what's going to happen next. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am beyond pissed. I chose a nicer washer and wish I would have chosen the cheapest smallest washer in Lowes. I've never had issues like this and been treated like I don't matter. I wish I could drive it to Maytag and dump it on top of their heads. $600.00 for this POS with the rudest customer services reps I have ever experienced IN MY LIFE. Like they gave this sh — to me. I paid my hard earned money for it and I expect it to function properly without having to purchase your bull crap extended warranty
I hate my maytag washer and dryer. the washer doesn`t spin out. it sound like a freight train coming throught when it spin. it move every time it is use. the dryer door won't stay open. it too is so noisy when you use it. it upsetting to know you pay all that money for horrible appliance...
