Did this once before dont have an answer. Bought dryer end of april in September it started to over heats replaced two parts of this problem and have one to go. Have to wait for Social Security to buy the last part.I dont have 30 dollars until then. Pay me for the parts or give me a new dryer

Washer and drier both... Nothing but problems from day 1. Warranty very very questionable these machines have been apart so many times that who knows what could be wrong now. They do not honor what they service. Do not buy matag

I purchased this washer about 6-7 months ago.Early on we experienced several alarming incidents during the spin cycle, the washing machine dancing all over the washroom.We called the company scheduling a service call but the service guy never showed.These spin cycle disasters have continued.I've called back on several occasions but could never actually talk to anyone.My next move will be dumping this P.O.S. in the parking lot of the store where I bought it.

Last week our washer stopped working. After being on hold on 5 different occasions for a total of close to 6 hours, we finally got to the Safety Dept and it was determined a company covered service call was warranted. The problem is that Maytag only uses one small company in the area, and they are closing down for a wedding for over a week. Washer won't get looked at until Oct 14th at the earliest (3 weeks of waiting). Can Maytag allow a different company to provide warranty service in this unusual instance? There is a family of 6 waiting!

When I ask that question, all I was told on the phone was "You can get someone else but you'll have to pay for it."

On the online service chat I was told "You'll have to contact Safety Dept." Which we had already spent hours trying to do over the past week!

Bought this washer December 2019. The repairman has been here no less than 6 times in less than a year. Last time he informed me that every part in the washer had been replaced except for drain hose. Should work fine. Two months later it has quit. Tub just fills, time changes from 48 minutes and then 5 minutes later states it's 1 hr 42 mins. Maytag has agreed to replace. This machine no longer available. Will replace with Model #MVW7232HW. The problem is it will take 2 to 6 weeks! Lowes can have one delivered within 2 days but Maytag will only reimburse me for what I paid for the discontinued model and I would have to pay an additional $300 because they consider this a buyout and not a replacement. This is not right. I have never used a laundromat. I paid all this money for a reliable product and it's junk. After reading all the similar complaints I have to wonder if I should ditch this machine for something else. Unfortunately, I have the matching dryer. I purchased the extended warranty thru Lowes. Had this happened under their warranty instead of Maytag's I would have a new machine by now. Please reconsider your policy. I really need my washer! I have spent more time waiting on repairs than actually using the machine. Paul's Appliance did the repairs and has all documentation. They never leave any paper work with me. And Maytag should have all documentation on repairs. I am requesting to be able to purchase Machine thru Lowes and be reimbursed the difference. Not my fault washer was discontinued.

I bought my first Maytag washer about 10 years ago. And replace it 2018 Maytag without the agitator .

January of 2020, my daughter went to Lowe's and purchased a Maytag washing machine, model MVWC465HW2 serial # CXO732023. This machine costs us $600+. About a week ago, I tried to wash a load of
clothes and when I went back to check on them. They were dripping wet. I tried to rinse and spin them but it would not work. The only thing that the washer will do is fill and drain. It makes the sound like it is washing but nothing is moving. Same thing with the rinse and spin, sounds but no action. I called for a service call. They only had 2 repair services to choose from. I can't get an appointment until September 29th. We have 6 people in this house depending on that washer. There is no laundry anywhere near where I live. I did the diagnostics on my machine. The error code is F5E2 which is the lid lock. I could probably do the repair myself, but don't want to void my warranty. Youtube gave instructions on by-passing the lid lock, but there again, warranty issues. Can I get the part under warranty and not have to pay for it? I will never survive until the 29th with no washer. Please give me a solution. Thanks.

Dryer has had the same issue 4 times, every time it has been the mother board/control board, now Maytag is saying it was not that every time. They repaired each time, no cost. It happened again and I was told "no longer in manufacture's warranty". What makes me angry is the 1st representative told me there was a serious issue, when I asked to speak to a manager she said it hasn't been repaired that many times. I will NEVER buy another Maytag if this is the customer service I am going to receive. Growing up all I was ever told by my parents were how good Maytag was and how dependable they were... WERE is the key word.

After being 3 months late [Covid excused and forgiven] the dryer arrived and has no light inside ... I cannot find any notes that this simple feature is not included. Is this an error in production?

I spent quite a while on their website to find technical help. I followed the troubleshooting steps, but did not help. They say chat and customer service until 8pm est. I called at 7:30 est and recording said I was calling outside of service hours. No help and no chat either. I could not find an email address for customer support either.
The website seems to steer you to set up a service appointment when what I need to know is: do I need a service appointment

What are the real hours they help customers and can I talk to a real person?

My gas range has a burner that delays then bursts - dangerous.

I have been waiting since july 2 /2020 to get my washer repaired. My son has the same washer & his washer did the same thing & lowes just gave him a new washer after 2.5 months. I bought maytag because we have had good service out of our old washer, dryer, range, refrigerator, before we have been without a washer. I'm really upset at maytag. The guy that came to look at it said these washers are junk every one he looks at all have the same problem the drum drive unit stripes out

I bought a maytag washer four years ago. the board went bad now out of warranty so now got to pay to get it fixed cost to much for service call part and all i think with the name maytag should last a little longer then four years

I purchased this washer 11/22/19. It had yo be rebuilt due to defect in washer the drum motor and 2 other parts replaced a bolt seized up
Now the hinge on the lid cracked I am not rough on my products so I'm very upset at the quality as I bought z matching pair. I jyst found out us going to cost almost as much as the washer yo repair. I. live on a fixed income and this is a great inconvenience to me and I'd appreciate any help you can hive.

I purchased this washer in April 2020. It is modelMVW/7232HW0. I have already called a week and a half ago and spoke to a rep. I told him this HD top loader does not clean clothes. He told me many customers really like this machine. I am on hold now with Maytag again. Hold time is 18 minutes or I can get a call back next week. Sorry that does not work for me. My original complaint (and still is the same) the machine does not clean clothes. My original complaint was that I put a blanket from the back of my car which we used at the beach. I took it out and it still had sand on it. Believe me I shook it out first before bringing it into the house to wash. Today even with Shout gel and brushing the stain on my fitted bed sheet it still came out with the stain. I run it on TOWELS it takes 1 hour and 29 minutes. Had I known first of all that without an agitator it would take this long for a wash to complete I never would have purchased it. The man I spoke to last week said to use the Towel setting with and deep fill. Honestly deep fill is not and option but a necessity. I bought it for the name MAYTAG and the non-agitator model to help the environment with less water(that is a joke). I have always like the Maytag products. This machine is the worst! It cost over $1, 000.00. I am so fed up with it. My next step is to go BBB or the NY state attorney general.

Bought an over range microwave in 2018. Door fell off and was replaced in 2019. Door fell off again in 2020 and Maytag says it is on me to pay for replacement. Same exact product failure but I guess it's my fault for buying Magtag. So I'll be replacing the microwave with a better product from a company that actually cares about quality and customer service and satisfaction.

I recently bought this second hand an they said the washer won't drain..l seen the drain plug was broke l bought a new drain plug..it seemed to work when l first tried it, an it spun but after l put clothes into it it went thru the cycle an now will not drain the water...what can l do can you send me a schematic drawing of the washer..the serial number is

Purchased a commercial washing machine from home depot (maytag) model # mvwc565fw2, which was delivered and installed by home depot to my business. Lid lock lights blinks, not running, called customer service and told warranty is voided due to being used at a commerical location!? Had unit for 7 months, terrible.

Purchased an expensive dual evaporator refrigerator/freezer in July of 2016. Unit failed again on June 22, 2020. This is the third issue that I have experienced in less than 4 years. Chat sessions with Maytag failed to connect every time. Email contact with Maytag failed every time. Tried to call the "800" customer service number - wait time estimated at 60 Minutes plus. Very poor product quality. Very poor customer service. Whirlpool apparently does not care about quality or customers.

Purchased in 2013. Within 1st year it ceased cooling. With warranty compressor replaced (altho cost me $100 to move to garage for the repair). Repair person advised purchase of extended warranty. (What does that suggest?)
2 years later ($300 spent in extended warranty) same problem. Mother board replaced. Problem continues. Another new compressor (and $100 to move to and from the garage). 2020 and the same problem continues - neither freezer or refig at set temp. Last extended warranty - $170. Two new mother boards installed yesterday 6/17/20; today both freezer and refrig are not at set temp - same problem AGAIN!
Why can't Maytag fix the damn thing? I have paid well over $500 for extended warranties!
