customers suck!
This is to all of the dumb customers that come in the local McDonald's I work for.
The cheap-skates that try and get a BigMac for a dollar by ordering a McDouble and having it changed to add BigMac sauce and lettuce. Just buy a fricken BigMac because a lot of other McDonald's are starting to charge for the sauces no matter what. If it doesn't come with it then you will get charged.
All of these order mess ups I hear about. Nine times out of ten it's the customers fault because they don't know how to order let alone know what fast food restaurant they are visiting... "Yes I want a whopper, biggie sized with a pepsi". There is no 99 cent menu, there is a dollar menu and there is no McNuggets on the dollar menu.
Yes breakfast is over at 10:30am on week days and 10:30 on weekends. We start breakfast at 5:30 AM so there is a run for 5 hours. Just wake up earlier.
To the customers that take a long drive to work day in and out. Why bother stopping for food at the one near your house then turn around and complain 45minutes later when you arrive at your place of work that your food is cold. The food has a lifespan of seven minutes tops before it gets cold, less if its cold out or with your A/C on low.
To the customers that come inside for their food. If you see a fresh basket of fries go into the fry hopper. you see the fries get scooped into a bag or box and placed in your bag then turn around and tell the employee you want fresh fries. How much fresher do you want them? Want us to go to a farm, pick the potato, come back, wash, cut and fry it before your eyes?
To the customers that come in very late at night after the lobby is closed. It's going to take a while to get your food. Reason being there are only two to three people on staff and people have a champagne taste with coke-a-cola money. People wanting their square fishstick fresh out of the grease for their Filet-O-Fish that takes 5 minutes to cook. Or since recently of the major deals on McNuggets we have a hard time keeping them ready to go and they take about four minutes to cook. Crispy chicken take about eight minutes and so on. We can't park the cars because it's after hours and it's a security hazard to open the doors. So don't expect for free food, discounts or anything out of the nature. Also if you're the type of people that want fresh food think about the hungry people that are in line with you.
When it's raining you rather use the Drive-Thru, I don't blame you. But when you pull up to the window please and I beg you, turn off the wipers. We don't want to get soaked with dirty rain water.
If we mess up on a order and you decided to come back to get it fixed. We need the receipt and food. Yea we toss out the food but we don't want to get ripped off in the long run. "Yes, I ordered three McDoubles with out Mustard. Well they have Mustard" Well how do we know you didn't eat them anyway when you just bring back a receipt? Would you do this if you bought say a big screen TV that was faulty? I think not.
We are only human people, mistakes happen. If in doubt check your food. So if you get a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and ask for no cheese, please check it. You try making a hundred or so QPCes in a hours time. you'll get use to slapping on cheese on each one that gets passed to you. You're not better then us, we are equal. we are all human. Some of us get paid more then you and others make minimum wage. All depends on their job title. Heck im a manager and I get 8.00 a hour. That really sucks but do to the job market I have no choice. I live paycheck to paycheck like millions of other Americans.
Long story short. If you keep getting the wrong order or bad service it's ether these two reasons.
A: You don't know how to order.
B: You expect too much for a fast food restaurant. This isn't some five star elite restaurant.
And Have a Great Day! (Insert James Flaws Here! LOL)
As to a fellow co-worker always says "Stupid people have to eat too"

employees being punished for being sick.
Hello, this complaint deals with this particular franchise punishing its employees for being sick. It has come to my attention that the Mcdonalds corporation forces there employees to get a doctors note when they are sick. These poor people are barely making enough money to make ends meet in this economy. If the loss of a day is not bad enough, forcing them to pay a doctor for a note is really horrible. The only people with insurance are managers.
I'm thinking a class act suit is in order, for all the loss and emotional suffering that they have to endure. Or the corporate big bosses can do a little revision and implement 21st century practices, like sick days for full time employees or some form of minor insurance for days when women get there periods and are so cramped up that they can barely walk. Why should they lose a day of work and have to pay a doctors bill that will cost them several days of work...The corporation needs to do something soon. In this time of problems that all of us are going threw, they need to step up and be more compassionate...

employee treatment
Ihave family that work at the McDonald's restaurants in whitby Ontario. I am appalled at the inhuane treatment of their employees. The managers are on power trips and want to dish out demeaning punishments for the simples violations. How is being sent home early for not being happy enough. However the treatment depends on who you are! There are some employess who seem to coast through like they are at a normal place of employment while the rest are treated like something they scraped of your shoe. Can't complain or life gets worse!
Sad to see a bubbly young person so deflated and miserabe because they hate their job so intensley. We have had witnesses to the foul treatment and they too have been shocked and appalled. I wish I could saymore but I don't want to have them centered out and have life anymore miserable for them. My advice DO NOT work or have your loved ones be subjected to the humiliation and hurt that McDonald's in Whibty dishes out to their employees!
standard of service
Hi there,
For some time now my self, family and friends have been going to McDonald's restaurant in Aberdare, S.Wales, for week end treats for the kids, coffees and ice creams etc and it comes to a point where it makes you so angry I'm taking the time to write this e-mail to say in all the years of me going to McDonald's from a small child to a 28 year old man with 2 children, has the standard slipped to a level where I'm actually complaining. I can hand on heart say I've never visited that branch and there hasn't been some wrong, same goes for family members and friends, its not a huge restaurant and I don't see how they can get it wrong every time and the much bigger ones that are always rushed off their feet seem to be fine. I'll list some of the problems that we counter the most,
1. Fizzy drinks are flat.
2. Chips are cold
3. Missing parts of the order
4. If you have to wait for a burger they give you the rest of your food then bring out the grill order 5 to 10 mins later when the rest of your food is cold.
5. Milk shake machine never works.
6. Coffee machine never works.
7. They way they pack the food bags the chips are up side down the burgers fall out and have to be rescued. 8. Pancakes are hard
I mean is it really that difficult, McDonald's has been around for ever, I'm a telecommunications engineer and I can see it, how does it escape the attention of the people running this branch. McDonald's has always been my favourite fast food restaurant I travel around in my job a lot and always grab a coffee on the move, only this restaurant we re having these problems, just thought you should know, thanks for taking the time to read this e-mail,
Geraint Moon

I've tried contacting McDonald's on more than 1 occasion, but no reply, thats why I came on here to see if any one had any luck with a response, I'm not after free food its just so frustrating how incompetent the staff are, I mean is it really that hard you know, thank you finally a comment I can use, cheers mate
Ummmm ok, well again thanks for your comments I didn't realise my grammar and punctuation was being put on trial here, I came on this site to look for helpful advise on this subject, I didn't realise I would be bombarded with what I can only describe as a waste of my time, seriously if I wanted to waste my time I would speak to the manager, who more often or not has just started puberty and is more interested in getting it on with the female staff. Thanks for nothing
Thanks for the comments some of which were funny to read but ended there, if you read it properly I stated it was week end treats for the kids, its the only McDonald's for 14 miles hence why we go there, and for the lame comments on my and my families weight and helth issues, its quite funny because we all eat healthy and ALL of us are into some form of fitness even my dad who's 68. McDonald's do healthy food to for the people who havnt been in the last 5 years. Only help full comments please, thanks

Wow a simple complaint about Mcdonalds turns into a cat fight. Can't we just all just get along...
Not quite, because that number would be four then, right?
I agree, there 3 people that give useful, valid feedback, and a host of people that would be better off on a social site
@Ramelle- I honestly apologize if my comment offended you.
You sound pompous, what I am referring to is your need to define. I am familiar with the "bond" you all have... not interested in trying to understand any cyber-relationships, just pointing out the comedic flare- apparent to all sunlight -dwellers.
@Impudent-, said cyber-alliance was not in direct relation to this specific thread. It was in regard to the fact that as usual, as soon as one person comments in disagreeance with any one of the above people, the same tired names I've laughed at with co-workers for months jump on the same band wagon. Again, joke. I hope you're all on here because you too, are bored at work daily...and this isn't an actual past-time.
Really? "help full comments please" ...uh, hi, censoEship would be telling someone what they can and can NOT say, and controlling such- not asking for constructive commentary. But, in a room full of people who relentlessly protect eachother (though they've most likely NEVER met) in order to maintain some hilarious cyber-alliance- what more could I expect? What a joke.
@Brenda- he didn't try to censor the advice, he just asked for actual advice.
fast food junkies are sad. They keep on going back for the same lard laden junk over and over again. Even when the lard servers show their contempt for your lard ### by getting your order wrong and chucking sub standard (irony) junk in your face. Wean yourself off the lard and eat some carrot sticks for a month or so and see how much better you feel.
"I can hand on heart say I've never visited that branch and there hasn't been some wrong..." And yet you return, time and time again. All these ###ic fast food complaints are the same. Stop going to McDonald's and you might live to see 50.
garbage
I live in the complex across the street from McDonalds. There is constantly McDonalds garbage all over the street, side walks, in our complex gardens and now in our complex. It is bad enough living so close to a discusting smelling and unhealthy business but now I am suppose to clean up their garbage. They obviously don't care about the environment or the...

On three separate occasions over the past 2 weeks when I have ordered nuggets and asked for sweet and sour sauce, I have not received the sauce.
First time - when I asked the person in drive through for sauce as I did not receive it, I was told that the sauce was in the bag. I told her it wasnt. she said its in there. I said "no its not, thats why im asking for it". she then shoved the sauce into my hand and walked away from the window. no apology, no have a nice day, nothing.
Second time - same situation, did not receive my sauce. I had to park, and go into the store and ask for sauce as it was not put in my order. I was again questioned and told it was in the bag. I said to them "well its not in there, thats why I have parked, come in, and am now asking for sauce. I would not be wasting my time for one little sauce, can I please just have my sauce so I can get to work". and again, it was shoved to me, again no apology for the inconvenience of having gone through drive through and still having to get out of my car, or have a nice day.
third time - same situation again, but this time my partner went in to get the sauce after having gone through drive through and not receiving the sauce. we again parked and he went in to ask for the sauce. the girl proceeded to tell him that she definitely put the sauce in the bag. it was not in the bag, exactly why he is in the store now asking for it.
I find it very unacceptable to pretty much be called a liar on 3 separate occasions at the same store, when it was their mistake everytime. very poor customer service considering I thought the general rule is the customer is always right, especially in this case when we were right. we pay good money for the food and time after time after time, the orders get stuffed up. I understand in busy times mistakes can be made, but the times I have had this happen, it has not been busy. and I dont think its good service to call your customers liars and then treat us like we are inconveniencing you, when actually its the other way around.

poor drive thru service
This drive thru is horrible and the last three times I have been thru the drive thru the order is not right. I am sick of paying for poor customer service at this drive thru restaurant. They either need to retrain the employees or set the stats a little lower or turn the intercoms up on the order taking poles. All I wanted was a happy meal with ranch...

After 3 years of swearing I will never ever go to McDonalds again I decided to start my day out pissed right off. I drove through a fricken drive through in Penticton to get 2 egg mcmuffins the price on the drive through is 2 for $4.49. The cleark in the window says that will be $6.20 I said the price is $4.49 on your drive through board they refused to give me the food for the posted price gave my money back and stood there looking ###ed. I guess they eat too my mcnuggets or someting. This is the last time I will ever start my day out pissed off because of McDonalds kiss my you know what ROTTEN RONNIES
i hate customers like you, obviously there is tax ###. and mcdonalds is not walmart.
Did you ever realize that penticton is in bc and bc and canada have tax on their food not to mention hst. its probably 4.49 plus tax [censored]
offensive and terrible service
I went through the drive thru at my local McDonalds to simply grab some food for my family and myself. When I approached the second window and recieved my food, the order they gave me was not mine. I then asked the clerk for my order and he asked me for the reciept in the bag he gave almost as assuming I was either lying or trying to scam food. I am of aboriginal descent and this kind of behavior is and has taken place at this location before. My taxi is now double what it would be if they had gotten the order right in the first place. During this time the Manager in a white shirt standing back behind the clerk at the window yelled to me to go and wait around the corner while they made my order and would walk it to me when it was done. I said back to her that I was in taxi, and that me having to wait is costing me now triple what it would've been had they simply made my order correct the first time! I then told her "it would'nt be a problem if I was in car and not in a taxi!". Now suddenly the head Mnager as I presume the shouted at me and said" If your going to yell at my employees you can have your ###en money back and never come here again!. I proclaimed that I was insulted and simply mortified with service I was receiving, and for the bad service don't you think I deserve my money back and my food free of charge for this situation?. She then shouted back at me and yelled " heres' your money back your not getting your food it's either your food or your money" when all of a sudden she throws $15.01 at me through the cab wiindow! I was sitting on the passenger side in back of taxi which I believe if I was on the driver side I would've benn hit with the money! I visit this location regularly and spend alot of money. This was by far the most TERRIBLE SERVICE I've ever recieved! I have 6 years in retail and customer service to recognise bad customer service in any sense! Today is June 17th and this event occured at approx. 5:10pm to 5:25pm as that was the time when we left the drive thru in shock. My cabdriver has written me a reciept and stated on it that he would ACT AS MY WITNESS to ensure that this matter is dealt with in my favor being the victim of bad customer service. With that being said I would like to be contacted immediately in regards to this matter at,

1. Who the hell gets drive thru food in a taxi?
2. Don't ###ing play the race card!
3. Don't post personel info online.
That truly has to be the absolute most pathetic use of the word "victim" we've ever seen, and this site sets that bar pretty low, so congratulations.
I suspect you've been getting your books flung in mud puddles your entire life and wouldn't know how to function if you couldn't find yourself in that situation today, perceived or otherwise.
Don't you understand by now in life that there are real victims out there of a lot more horrific acts than "bad customer service, " and with a lot less control over getting into or out of the situation who handle it a lot better than you're coping with your little life crisis here?
Do you still want to whine about being a poor little victim over your hamburger Happy Meal being made incorrectly?
They needed the receipt to remake what they gave you because evidently it belonged to someone else. I see you also played the race card. I am sorry this happened to you but I can tell you all races have been discriminated against and there have been many victims. Perhaps everyone involved could have been a little more courteous.
people pay for a service or item when they go to places like mcdonalds, , , i feel this issue should be addressed by the corp office at mcdonalds but the problem is not many ppl care that those kind of low class workers at mcdonalds and such give bad service and or food most of the time ...ppl usually just let it go...i say good for you buddy for standing up for those that dont have the balls to do it themselves!
how to get ur money back, , it appears i as well have become a victim of this scam!
Your home and cell numbers are now on 4chan. Don't be stupid next time. As far as your complaint, McDonald's is far from a 5 star restaurant so don't expect 5 star treatment. Try slaving in a hot kitchen for 9 hours and see how you feel when some imbecile pulls up in a taxi.
terrible service cold food and it had snuff wrapped up i'n the sandwich
I went inside because the drive thru was backed up around the building. I stood inside for 30 min when I got my food it was cold and I also found snuff I'n my sandwich wrapper. And yes I'm am posative it was chewed snuff. This is so very unexceptable. But Im sure that my money will never effect the business but I wish there was something I could do...i know one thing I will never eat their again nor will my family and if it's up to me my friends. Same on you McDonalds for allowing this I'n you chain of stores...I did take a picture of it also.
Most fast food places are like this. As soon as u train someone they quit, Noone knows what the importantance of speed is. And there is about 7 people involved in getting ur order to u correctly and at mcdonalds 5 out of 7 crew are brainless. So put 2 and 2 together and u her bad service
ewwwwww but doesnt suprize me they hire young punks that thtey can under pay therefore they dont care about their job...the food is almost always cold old nasty when i go to mcdonalds which i why i dont go there no more !
Finding the snuff in the wrapper is unacceptable and you should complain to the manager of that location. The wait portion of your complaint is a joke. You expected to be serviced faster being inside the McDonalds as opposed to the drive thru, which is wrong. Everyone is serviced in the order in which the orders are ringed in. People who think the can "line jump" by going inside to avoid a drive thru line are already walking in with an attitude.
wrong pricing
On different occasions, I went to McDonald's in Granby and was charged a different price than what was advertised on the signage in the store. Each time I brought it to the cashier's attention. Each time I was told, 'I don't know why it's like that, but the computer--not the sign, is always right!' After being overcharged for the third time in a row, I e-mailed McDonald's corporate headquarters. They very nicely sent a 'canned' response that the franchise owner of this particular store would contact me. After two weeks, I heard from no one, so I wrote again and said that my next e-mail would be to the State of Connecticut as what they were doing was illegal. I finally got a call from the franchisee who said he would be sure to have the signs changed. No 'I'm sorry, ' or anything else! I've stopped going there--the Manager is rude, and I believe they intentionally are ripping people off!
too many immature teens and bad management
There are too many young immature teens working in Mcdonald's. No one wants to move to take orders, the look of unhappiness upon the faces and not too mention rude and inexperience management skills. I drove to the drive through to get 3 vanilla milk shakes. I was told to drive up and someone would bring them out. I sat there for 5 minutes waiting on 3 Milk Shakes. I went inside and two employees are looking at the machine. No one tell me we are having trouble with it. I politely tell them I need to go and I ewant my money back. The acknowlegement ws very slow. Finally a rude and sassy mouth manager come from the back and says" What seems to be the problem"? A young assistant manager responds that the machine is not working properly. He shows her there is no problem with the machine by placing his finger under the flow of a very yello ice cream substance. Then he turns to me and says"would you like to taste it", after I say, " that does not look the same as before". I finally got my money back but I will not go back in there. My friends and family will not either. The Mcdonald's in Alexander City becomes worse and worse. The manager is a black male with earrings in his ear, just so there is no mistake.

The drive through is for fat, lazy Americans. Stop judging everyone like it's still the 1950's. Patience is a virtue... being a smug ###, is not.
long wait in drive through
After going grocery shopping i took the family through the Mc Donald's drive through to get something to eat i place my order and payed for it as soon as i reach the second window to receive my order they had told me to go to the waiting bay i was waiting there for 6 minutes when i got out of my car and walk in to see what was happening i spoke to the supervisor on duty and ask what was happening with my order then i received a response that the order is not ready yet where still waiting on the cheese burger's and we will bring it out when its ready i waited 10 minutes for my order while i could see cars going through the drive through with no hold up at all this. To me is not exceptable to call a fast food restaurant to wait 10 minutes for a order to be completed just to receive the order cold anyway and the attitude that i received when i spoke to the supervisor should not be part of the business either.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
false advertizing
I feel something should be done about this. To me it is false advertising. It is also a large National Company. It is to do with McCafe. A part of McDonalds.
Big posters behind the counter and on the paper tray mats offer a special deal.
The sign reads Coffee and muffin $5. It is followed by or slice or any bakery item.
I asked for a $5 deal but I’ll have a scone. “Sorry Sir, It doesn’t include a scone. That will cost you 6.90.”
“But it says any bakery item.”
What is a scone if it is not a bakery item?
On its own a coffee costs 3.80.
A slice is 3.50
A Danish is 3.70.or 4.40
A scone is 3.10
In the 5.00 deal I can have a Danish or slice but not a scone which is the cheapest item.
1st. I was wanting the cheapest item.
2nd. The sign did read ANY bakery item.
I feel this should be sorted out.
Thanking you,
Gordon Heyward
PS. This happened at McDonalds in Merivale Christchurch.
rip off
I would watch the Mcdonald's commercials and like an idiot I fell for the idea that I could win something. Oh, yeah they have no problem giving away free small pops or small fries, but you just paid $5 for a value meal. Whoopie! So you go back thinking you can get different pieces, especially when you only needed like one for every area, but you always seem to get the same pieces. So you play online. Well that sucks, because you can only play 10 pieces in a day and then the dice never let you go to an empty space you always go to one you have. Of course you can win o free computer game. Who cares! What ticked me off is when I had Park Place and I rolled the dice(I always count my spaces) and I should've landed on Boardwalk and it didn't move me far enough. It shorted me one space. Come on Mcdonald's you guys are ripoffs and tightwods that you can't be honest with your customers AND PAY THEM THEIR TRUE WINNINGS! Ripping people off and losing customers will eventually catch up to them.
poor service
We visited this restaurant, yesterday May 29---and, were----very upset with the service!! To start with---we stood in ---line---for 30 min. ---before our order was taken!! There was---one cashier on duty!! The line-up was back to the entry door---probably at least 20 people!! A lot of people turned around and left (they were the smart ones) Then----it...
Read full review of McDonald's and 10 commentsrefused entry during tornado siren
My mother was in the drive thru with my three yr old son and had already placed her order when the tornado sirens started going off. She went ahead and payed for her order and was told to pull ahead. She decided to play it safe and parked and took my son inside to seek shelter until the sirens were over. This was right after the devastating tornado had hit Alabama so she wanted to be safe. Two other women also in the drive thru with small children did the same. When the three women and children entered the restaurant the manager and another employee told them they had to leave because it was against their policy to allow anybody in the restaurant after the sirens have started not even their drive thru customers! They left the children to wait it out in their cars. I find this completely immoral and lack of respect for human life. Thank goodness a tornado did not actually touch down or my mother and son would probably not be here and McDonalds would be the reason why!
Brendas would have been good had it been true. It was the managers job to make sure their customers were safe and she blatantly disregarded and forced people to leave that were already at the doors. If it had been myself taking my son I wouldve gotten her name and made sure she did lose her job for going against company policy and no I would not support her and her family for disregarding mine but unfortunately I was at work in shipping making sure all truck drivers and visitors were safely inside even though we have no policy stating I habe to. Just because Im human unlike some.
Im not in England. We go by pounds here in the USA. And im sorry but this has to do with a restaurant going AGAINST their policy and putting small childrens lives in danger. This is the first time I have ever posted on a message board and the last because the only comments I have received are very silly.
Actually I spoke to a McDonalds rep and their policy is to make sure all their drive thru customers are inside. They are not aupposed to let anybody in after they lock their doors. Their doors wete not locked. No actually the sirens were the warning. Your insensivity to small children is repulsive and the problem with people today. You would feel differently if it was yourself Im sure. And I weigh 123 thank you very much. I wasnt even there. I was at work stupid. Some of us do that instead of sitting on the computer looking for people to insult. I wish a tornado would suck up people like you giys instead of the innocent lives they take.
McDonald, s on Parish Ave. in Owensboro Ky is poor on service, you buysomething to eat there and you got to almost beg to get any salt or sugar. You go to the drive thru you got to check to see if you get everthing at the winow, if you pull up then look if you have to go in you got wait forever and rest of your food gets cold. And if you eat inside the place is always dirty to me.
I can understand why they may not want you in the building. They may not have room for you (or the only safe room may have a safe or employee's belongings), and if you were to hang out in the lobby with all of the windows your life would still be at risk.
I agree with you, melmac, how awful and terrifying for your mother and child! Natural disasters bring out the worst in people or the best! I could care less what store policy was, there it is immoral, wrong, and ethically inexcusable! I hope that your mother and child are safe, and not a causality of such a tornado. I would contact McDonald's headquarters and get that subhuman manager fired, especially, if that wasn't the policy of the restaurant.
Izzy,
Do you have a heart? Maybe grandma couldn't cook lunch because their was a tornado warning, or she was out running errands! Are you the mother of a toddler? Grandma could have been out, and decided that her grandchild needed something to eat! Sometimes little ones cannot wait any longer to eat, or do prefer to allow the child to go hungry? Have you ever dealt with a toddler melt down? As long it isn't a frequent habit, there is nothing wrong with getting fast food for your kid once in a while! At that, are you a working mother? Why don't you get off your high horse and learn compassion? It is fine if your a stay at home mom, but some people have to work and don't always have the luxury of making a home cooked meal everyday! Who cares! Her child and mother could have died because the manager was a [censored]! You don't have kids, because if you did, you would be outraged if your child and mother, were intentionally put in danger, because of the jerk manager! Maybe you should have fast food once in a while, then maybe you wouldn't be such a ###, and the nutrition police! Eat something, your too skinny ###, a slight breeze will make your skinny butt fly away, when it isn't seating on a broom!
SHOULD HAVE KNOW THERE WAS A TORNADO WATCH AND STAYED HOME AND COOKED> but also it was wrong for them to do that
Tornado hits the restaurant and then you will sue for them 'forcing" your relatives in an place not built for disaster relief.
Forgot the word, cook.
I'm glad you were refused entry, fatty. How about you good healthy dinner for your kids? See, if you got ur fat ### home and cooked meals, then then situation would never had happened.

I work for Mc'Ds but i have only been there for 6 months and i fill that is way too long to be there, my store doesn't really care about time cards as you said they just change when food has gone, fries are never thrown away after their sell time and as for syrups and milkshake sauces well i don't think i have ever seen one thrown away unless empty. I have been bullied myself, verbally and only once physically, i had my shift manager grab my wrist and try to make me sit down while she shouted at me and put me down, she then persisted to laugh at me for my shaking when i was upset and other issue's where arisen. I am a hard worker and will do any task asked of me and those that are just common sense, some of the job's i have to do my manager's would sit and watch and would never think of doing (A man was sick in the men's urinals and it blocked the whole thing i had to go in and scoop it out into bleached water and my colleagues all stood around me to watch). I have to go to work every day and know that my name will not be pronounced properly and i know it's on purpose as they know it annoys me now (my name is Gemma, not that hard to learn and also very common now). It's not very easy at the moment to find a job and it's that, that they hold on to and abuse, they know you will find it hard to find an job so life must be made even harder for you. I too am afraid of not getting a good reference from them I don't know about any where else but to give a bad reference is not aloud, but doesn't mean they have to give a good one. I have argued enough times with shift managers and even once or twice with my store manager about the way people treat me how i am penalised . I am a very hard work as i have mentioned and i am also very strong willed but i am very afraid to tell me manger's what the single person is doing to me every shift, oh just a quick question I have been burned so many times by the fries basket and have scars to prove it is there anything i can do now?
if anyone can help it don't work for Mc'Donalds they are so bad there.
rudeness from the staff and wrong orders
me and my friends went to mcdonalds for the day, coming all the way from tonbridge, we stopped at mcdonalds in brighton! we got our food and they got the order wrong so we went and said to the man who took the orders and asked for a refund for the one burger! and he was very rude and wouldnt give the money back and also whilst we asked for it to be refunded my mate was eating his burger and the guy behind the counter snatched his burger and put it in the bin!
so altogether 2 of my friends didnt get there meals and didnt have any money left!
Yours Sincerly
Lauren Gillham
If this issue gets resolved and they agree to give my money back please contact me on [protected]... thanks...x

I'm an employee that works at McDonald's, and customers are always trying to get free food. I ordered a large meal, so everything should be large... I'm like what the heck, then some lady at the drive through, after talking to the manager when I gave her her food said, "thanks for nothing." She was also interrupting me when I was telling her, we were cooking fresh fries by saying, " I'm not parking, you're going to give me my food, now hurry up." I'm like, "What an ungrateful little jerk."
