Microsoft harassment at rta

I would like to highlight my grievance with RTA office in refunding me the road tax amount paid by me.

I came to Hyderabad from Delhi in July 2007 and got my car registered in Delhi along with me. I voluntarily went to the RTA office in Mehandipatanam and paid the AP life time road tax amounting to Rs. 30, 000/-. I did not get the NOC from Delhi RTA office as I did not want to change the registration from Delhi to Hyderabad. At the time of depositing the road tax amount, I was not asked for the NOC. The inspector collecting the road tax amount told me that I can claim the tax amount back, if I take back my car to Delhi.

After staying for about 10 months I am shifting back to Delhi and taking my car along with me to Delhi. I went to the RTA office on 29th April 2008 to enquire about the process of claiming refund. The administrative officer sitting there told me to write an application, get a notarized affidavit as a proof that I am taking the car back to Delhi, copy of car registration, copy of tax payment receipt. He told me that the tax will be refunded in 10 days time.

I got the affidavit and along with all the papers went to the RTA office again on 30th April 2008. I approached the Administrative officer again and he asked me to meet the RTO. I went to meet the RTO and asked him to take the application for refund. The RTO simply said that the road tax will not be refunded. I asked him the reason and he told me that I should have got the NOC from Delhi at the time I got my car to Hyderabad. I tried to explain him that I did not want to get my car registered in Hyderabad and no one told me that NOC is required, when I paid the tax. The RTO told me that it is my duty to know the rules and now nothing can be done. I also asked the RTO to show me the rules regarding refund of road tax and he said I should buy a Motor Vehicles Act from the market and see the rules by myself. I asked him to at least accept the application for refund and put an objection to it in writing. He just refused to accept the application.

It was shocking for me to see, loosing Rs. 32, 000/- out of the hard earned money. It’s a big amount for salaried class people like me. This incidence once again highlights how well government organizations make life of common man miserable. Now I don’t see any way for getting my hard earned money back. I should have listened to my colleagues who are driving their vehicle without paying road tax. I think in our great nation, people who evade taxes are happy than people like me, who think to follow the rules.

Get a lawyer and file a case or a Right To Information Application asking for the details of the rules and regulations.
What else do you actually expect from stupid places like Hyderabad and Bangalore?

Microsoft automatic charge & difficulty getting credit card out of system

I decided to try xbox live for a month and entered my cc info into the system. Little did I know that they would automatically charge my cc each month. I called them up after three months of charges to find out how it worked. I told the lady that I wanted to make sure my cc wasn't charged anymore. I explained that I bought a 1 yr membership for my son for his birthday. She said she would make sure it wasn't charged anymore.

Apparently when you put your cc in the system and your subscription runs out it asks if you want to renew without making you enter credit card info again. So, my son renewed it for three months.

I called Microsoft xboxlive and was told that in order to get my cc out of the system that I would have to wait 2 to 5 days for someone from Microsoft to call me back and verify it. They also refused to credit my credit card even though it had only been a couple days. I was told that they could only refund the 1 yr subscriptions. I told them I would dispute it through my CC.

Is Microsoft so hard up that they have to revert to such tactics?

They did the same to me and were happy, the Indians the hired for service to us (LoL), that were actually pleased that they could not refund my false postings to my credit card. My bank was well aware of this Microsoft indian game, and gladly credited the double posting amounts off of my credit charge. Americans are out of work, and Microsoft hires indians that are happy to screw us, while they are gainfully employed by Microsoft. Microsoft is going down the tubes with all I speak to, and I am in the software industry so I know. Good bye Microsoft, it won't be long before you are paid back for not caring about your customers. Regarding XBox Live, I will never go back and buy used disks at Game Stop stores and give money with great customer service, who hire Americans for jobs, and don't laugh when they go to screw their customer!

Microsoft poor customer service and broken promises

This whole ordeal started at the end of March, I located on a forum that I visit an Xbox 360 for sale with the red rings of death. I understood that there was a chance that the sticker would be removed and Microsoft would be unwilling to repair it, but I looked into it and the warranty had never been voided and everything was good. I received my 360 from the person that I purchased it from, and all seemed to be well. I called Microsoft's Xbox Repair line the moment that I received the console, I spoke with a gentlemen there and was informed that despite that I had bought it second-hand everything would be alright and the console could be repaired no problem. I was overjoyed, my purchase of $65 seemed to be a godsend. After that, I received the box to ship the console back to Microsoft and sent it away immediately. The service center received the console on April 5th, again, everything seemed to be flowing smoothly. I noticed something weird when on Apr 10th, I received an email from the service center saying that I had never sent the console, I doublechecked the UPS tracking number from the box and saw that it did indeed arrive and wondered what was going on. I checked their website, service.xbox.com and found the status had not been updated; I was concerned, no information had changed and everything seemed like it didn't happen and so I called their service department.

The first time that I called Microsoft, they told me that they had indeed received the Xbox and it was under repairs. Feeling elated, I dismissed it as just technowizardry not working the way in which it was supposed to and went along. I waited until 4/18 to call again, not having heard anything back from Microsoft and not seeing the website ever updating was cause for concern. I spoke with a representative there, whom this time could not find any information about the console. I gave him my reference #, and nothing had ever been updated in the system despite what the first agent had told me. I started to get a bit upset at this point, things were starting to get kind of sketchy. The agent ended the conversation by telling me that he knew nothing about anything that was going on, and they would have to contact the actual service center. The agent then informed me that there would be a 3-5 business day wait until the service center replied and then they would know more. I asked the agent why there would be such a long wait to which he gave the eloquent answer of, "I don't know." He seriously said, "I don't know." I pushed further, to which his only response was that he honestly had no idea how the system worked. After speaking to a supervisor and receiving the exact same answer, I was frustrated. It appeared that in some strange twist of feline quantum mechanics, I had been sold Schrodinger's Xbox.

I called the service center again on 4/23, figuring that would be plenty of time for them to locate the console and figure out what's going on. The agent whom I spoke with that day was kind enough, she never gave me an answer of I don't know but instead was never even able to locate the order in the system. I gave her the repair number, which she could not find and I gave her the UPS tracking number (which as of right now, still works). The order was again escalated to the repair center and I was told that it would be taken care of. She informed me that I was likely to receive my console this week and nothing would be wrong, they had just not yet determined whether to send me a new console or repair the old one. Again, Microsoft lead me to believe that everything was okay. During this entire time, I had made no mystery of the fact that the console was purchased second hand.

Yesterday, on 5/02, I had not received my console. I had received no word from Microsoft, and no contact. Again, I contacted the repair center. I spoke with a gentlemen there, and was informed that they had again received no information as to the whereabouts of the console. He informed me that it had been "esclated to the highest level" and that a supervisor would be calling me within the next 24 hours. Despite being angry, I agreed that this would be okay. 24 hours later, I had received no call. I called them. I originally spoke with an agent at the center with the pseudonym of Louise, he found that the service center had finally responded but escalated the call to a supervisor. The supervisor, Jose, proceeded to inform me that the Service center was now requesting a proof of purchase from me and if they did not receive it they would be returning the console unrepaired. I was livid. I had made no secret that the console was purchased second hand, being so far as to be outright about it at the first call. I told Jose about what his original agent had told me, but he remained unpersuaded, I would be shafted and given a broken console in return. It took this department 28 days from the date of reception to go so far as to merely request a proof of purchase, I offered them the proof of purchase of secondhand but obviously, they would not accept this. I asked to speak to Jose's supervisor and was told that despite that they were indeed there, they did not accept calls and I would not be allowed to speak with them. I asked Jose if there was anybody else whom I could contact for an alternate opinion who would be above him, and was told that my only option was to call the service center again and hope to speak to another supervisor. I asked Jose for a list of information regarding the console and was denied. Jose made absolutely no effort to help, their entire company strung me around with absolutely no help. It took me 28 days just to get an answer from them.

28 days of being told that everything was okay, being told that repairs were underway. Because of this call center's approach, and their assurance that it was indeed being repaired, I went ahead and purchased games and accessories for the console none of which I will be able to use. As of right now, everything that I have purchased for the console is a total loss.
Microsoft's complete lack of customer service is a flagrant disregard for the responsibility which they hold as a large corporation. As for me, their products will not be being recommended to anyone.

Nelson Jay Smith, You are not alone in your experience of Microsoft's customer service. My son's Xbox 360 died due to MicroSoft's know issue with their product. It was within the warranty period. He got the same initial positive response as you and then when the Xbox 360 arrived at MicroSoft he got the same run around as you. Bottomline they ended sending him his Xbox 360 back over a month letter (and several phone calls) saying it was fixed. However, when it arrived they included a letter saying they didn't fix it because of the red ring of death. So, they determined he tampered with it. I know he didn't. However, they either intentional or accidentally did it themselves. Based on your experience and his I'd say they aren't organized or smart of enough to do it on purpose. Calls back to MicroSoft were futile. Luckily he had paid extra for the extended warranty through Target. After the warranty company tried to push it off on MiscroSoft they agreed to pay. I will also be passing this story onto any one who will listen.

I spend more time attempting to reslove issues and conflicts since I purchased my HP Pavilion pre-loaded with the Vista platform. I have been amoung hunderds of loyal Windows users. But because it is becoming increasing evident that Microsoft feels that it will suvive without customers. I choose to spend my tme not f-----g with trying to get my system to work and purchase a system one that is. I am seeing more and more friends and family switching to a Mac system and reporting a far better experience than I have b een having. Bill Gates may your lack of concern and regard be visted back on you.

Microsoft suspicious scam company

This company advertises as a sponsored link on amazon selling cheaply priced software. They at first look quite legitimate but BEWARE! I have purchased software only to discover that they will take your money and not deliver you the merchandise. You can try contacting them by phone or email but they never answer to any contact between you and the buyer. I have found out later (through searches) that I am not the only one who has experienced this problem. I find it also find it a BIG SHAME that Amazon lists this horrible company on their website as a sponsored link - ALL FOR THE SAKE OF MONEY and not protecting the buyer. So BEWARE of EGGSOFTWARE !

I have been trying very unsuccessfuly to resolve this issue for about 30 days or more. I purchased Microsft office 2007 and did the download on line but when I went to use it or try it out it asked me for a Key. I did have a Key that the website gave me but it never worked. After several failed attemps to get in touch with this DRISTUDENTOFFICEUS Which is the name or charge from Company on my credit card. I cannot figure out how to get some attention in this matter.Please advise me as to what to do next. Thank you in advance for your time in this .

Also, I forgot to mention that this is who "EggSoftware.com" really is or was: Princell Software Ltd and as you can see they have even registered themselves as a Microsoft Software Partner!

Here's the typical "computer generated" email that you can expect to receive from Microsoft when you want to report a website selling illegal Microsoft software. Notice the lack of interest in the 3rd party seller and how they turn this into a marketing opportunity by referring you onto an authorized reseller:

In my experience, Microsoft is simply NOT interested in chasing up cases of piracy of it's own software.

When I tried to report a case of a seller selling illegal copies of Microsoft Office 2007 they passed me over from one department to the next.

That's why these repeat scammers keep coming back because they know no legal action will be taken against them.

I have also had problems with the Office 2007 software that I purchased from them.

We buy in good faith and then find that there are problems with the software or they just don't deliver.

Surely this is something that Trading Standards and Microsoft Corp. should be involved in resolving?

Yes, I got caught too but not from Amazon. It was a sponsored link on google when i typed 'office 2007'.
I phoned trading standards and they said to send a recorded mail letter to the company demanding the goods or your money back, i demanded my money back.

I have checked with the royal mail to see if anyone had signed for my letter but no one has and the letter is been sent back to me.

I am going to phone trading standards again to see what (if anything) can now be done.

Apparently this guy has had many sites and just opens a new one when others are shut down.

This is exactly what has happened to me. Goods ordered on April 13 2008, nothing delivered, no response to phone calls, can't even raise the website anymore. Fraud investigation initiated.

and asking 420 pounds to transfer the wining funds to my bank account.
Do not give any money to them. This is fake...

Microsoft console breaks five times - microsoft refuses to replace or refund

Dear Microsoft,

My Xbox 360 has - within one year - died five times. I have been calling and writing trying to find someone there at Microsoft who can help me.

I'm a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars on your console and it's HDDVD add-on and games.

Four times I've sent my broken console in for repair and four times you haven't repaired it correctly. This last repair job lasted only 11 days!

When I purchased your extended warranty I had no idea how many times I'd have to use it!

I was a good sport four times but I can't go through this again. I've asked for either a NEW console or for you to return my money.

Your representative Jessica M called me today to inform me that you will not replace the console and you will not refund my purchase and to let me know that there is not anyone else who will talk to me.

I want to believe this is a big misunderstanding and I want to believe that this isn't a con game.

Would someone who can help me resolve this situation please call or write? I told Jessica M that I didn't want to seek counsel and blow this up any larger than it already is. But I don't think she cares or understands. I'm hoping somebody who receives this email will step up to the plate.

I brought a xbox 360 from david jones no more then 6 months ago and everything was ok, until i got a set of red lights on the front. I simply restarted my xbox and the problem disappeared. Now however about one month ago it start telling me that a disc was dirty or there was not even a xbox game inserted. When i tried to play one mind you it happened even when it was a new game it didn't bother me at first, but now it has multiplied by 100% which results me opening and closing it about fifty times before i get to play, but around a week ago a new problem jumped up. Now when i place my disc on the tray and close it says its reading, then 2 seconds later it says - open tray. What the hell now? I call up the help line i give details and be put on held for around twenty minutes and the last thing she asks is - do i have the receipt and when i say no i thought this was a good product that was not going to stuff up in 6 months. She then tells me there is nothing she can do. I think that is crap!

We purchased an xbox 360 in November of 2017.On may 4, 2017 the unit stopped working.Because unit was well within the warranty time frame we called. They instructed us to be looking for a prepaid box to send unit out to be repaired.When we received unit some 2 weeks later not only did it not work, but it was a different unit. We verified this 2 ways, one serial numbers of originally purchased unit wasn't the same, two we spoke to repair center and they admitted that unit sent back was indeed a refurbished unit. On original call when problem first occurred at no time were we told that a replacement unit would be sent. They had us believe that our original unit would be repaired and sent back.We sent back replacement unit and some two weeks later we received the unit we now are having problems with. It only worked for 3 weeks this time. We called back to customer service and spoke to yet another manager. They are now telling us that all they can do is have us send this refurbished unit back and they will send us another replacement unit. This will be a total of 3 attempts to rectify issue with no luck. I feel that we've been more than fair in letting them take care of this warranty issue, and now its time for them to stand behind their product or give me my money back so that I can replace unit myself. Ive provided them with all the necessary paperwork and have told them I can provide proof of purchase.There has been no mention of at this point sending us a new unit to take care of issue of replacements not working at which they have tried 3 times to correct. Please can someone help or guide us to see what is our next course of action.

Why doesn't the RICH corporation, Microsoft, recall it's inferior product XBOX 360? We are on our 4th one. Microsoft knows that there is an overheating problem on ALL of their XBOX 360's. Sure, you can keep returning it to them to fix (or not). You have to wait 4-6 weeks to see if they return one that works or not. I just returned a refurbished one today, to where I purchased it from. We had for less than 1 month before it experienced the overheating problems. The store I got it from has an exchange policy if anything should happen within 30 days. I swapped it for a "used" one, hoping the same thing doesn't happen again. My son is actually using one that had the "red ring of death" to experiment with. It seems as though there are several cheap things that can be done to alleviate the overheating of the unit. If all else fails, I guess it would make a nice door stop. Microsoft should be ashamed. They had to hurry and get it out before PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, my son wanted one right away and he saved up his own money for it, so he got the dreaded XBOX 360. PlayStation 3 held off releasing their system early because they experienced the same problem but took the time to fix it before releasing it. I know I won't be getting any Microsoft products in the near future.

I bought an Xbox 360 console a few years back, and after 3 months it started switching off and flashing 4 red lights over and over again. Strangely, it would re-boot itself and be fine, (apart from game saves which would keep corrupting) until last summer when it finnally refused to work at all. I was playing a game and the machine finally went and switched off for the 20th time. The disc drive would not open, it would switch on and do nothing but go on to where it says XBOX 360 then turn off and re-boot. I then set it off to Microsoft, who charged me £20 to phoned me back to say that there was a main board fault and to come to my local, unhelpful game store to collect it. I have just recently purchased a new one, and it has already started to do this.

Like a multitude of people, I have had bad experiences with the Xbox 360. I have had four, waiting on my fifth one. They each last about six months. When my second one crashed, Microsoft support claimed that the problems were insignificant to the majority that worked just fine! Really--look around the internet--problems everywhere. I paid for a brand new one in 2017 and I get sent back repaired older models--that eventually have the same problems. I try to contact support to get answers--No resposnse. I just want to know why this keeps happening. You can't just keep treating the symptoms, you have to find a cure. Loyal consumers deserve better than this. And like so many others, a free month of live is not good enough anymore. I am on the verge to swithching to Playstation. I wish I could ask a Microsoft executive if he would like to have a brand new car that kept breaking down every six months. Would he keep that car and remain loyal to that dealership?

I recently got the red rings, nothing new there! So I send it back and Microsoft repairs it. They then tell me it will be at my house in 5 more days. Well 10 days later it still ain't here! Everyday during the ten days I called and it kept saying 5 more days. So I call again and a Microsoft agent tells me it's the fault of UPS. So I call UPS and find out that Microsoft never even sent my XBOX 360. UPS never received it to ship to me. I call again and mention the fact I know they lied to me about it being the fault of UPS. Then I get put on hold for ten minutes just to get hung up on. Yet again I call and finally a female agent helps me after 15 minutes of waiting on hold again. I'm thinking finally some resolve, aaaaahhhhhhhhh! but no she tells me it's a problem and to call back in 3-5 days for more information! Meaning she couldn't tell me nothing and I may find out in 3-5 days if I call back and go through all this again! NOT TO MENTION THAT THE REASON I HAD TO SEND IT BACK IS BECAUSE MICROSOFT USED A CHEAP MANUFACTURER TO SAVE MONEY INSTEAD OF PROVIDING A QUALITY PRODUCT! Now they are probably paying more in repairs, re-embersments and mailing than if it would have been done right the first time. To anyone thinking of buying a game system I'm going to reccommend PS3, no bugs and better graphics. XBOX 360 definately got more and better games, but all the bugs, lag, and customer service issues (which you will surely have to deal with due to everyone getting the red rings of death) make for a terribble product experience. If Microsoft ever tells me whats going on and gives me my XBOX 360 back I'll take it straight to Gamestop/EB Games and trade it in for a Playstation 3, gladly paying the difference in cost for a better experience.

As I've stated in similar complaints about switching to the PS3, you're switching to another system with a whole set of problems similar to the 360. Not only that, Sony charges you more for anything over the warranty - at least $150.

Have some [censor]ing patience. You're not dying without your 360.

Microsoft is rediculous...I have gotten 4 xbox 360 's in the last 3 years it like they build them to only last a year at most...just to make mor money. It's not like the game console is cheap! They need to get it together and either stop making them and stick to OS or make them to last more than a year! They Suck...

Terrible console with good games, unfortunately, which keeps the system alive in the market.

I have sent mine in for the infamous "3 rings of death" failure twice to have it fixed, and a 3rd may be on the way. I am happy that so far their service in fixing the machine has been fast and without problems (except for licensces for DLC after getting it back--but I noticed they gave me back the same console each time (i put a tiny mark on one just to see whether or not it was the same one. It was.

The damage is almost always 90% of the time caused by overheating. The heat sinks (whatever they are called) are made cheaply (i dont know if they still are, but they were with the original model), so they overheat very fast.

Keep the console in an aired out place, on its side, prefferably elevated off the ground (I put mine on a large book roughly the size of the console) and make sure all the little air holes on all sides are not blocked. Keep a breeze moving through the room, a fan works, but above all else make sure the console is not in a closed space. Also a factor is how long the system is on, I would never leave it on for more than 6 hours max.

This device is utter ###. So far there are only cheats for about 9 games that you can actually download. And the cd dosnt even recognize the memory unit connected to your PC. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS ### PRODUCT.

i got the whole thing to work perfectly but got bored with it let it sit on pc for ages untouched. looked at it today and it says no internet connection detected. my internet is fine but xploder cant detect it and nothings changed since it last worked lol

Really not impressed. Bought a CHEAT SYSTEM and received a game save file sharing package. How is that a cheat system? On the front it even says unlock items and extra power - no because they arent extra powers, you could get them by playing. YOU WANT A CHEAT SYSTEM TO GIVE YOU CHEATS AND MAKE GAME PLAY EASIER/MORE FUN. This does nothing.

I had a bad experience with xploder for the original xbox connected memory unit didn`t work and to top all of there were no saves on the site this was 2003. I still had it and wanted to see what it was like 6 years later. It`s still only got like 1 game save that doesn`t work.
I picked up the xbox 360 version it still say`s the same sought of thing they said 6 years ago. all i can say is its a scam.

I had exactly the same problem getting it to see the memory card. I tried running the update but mis-typed my email address when it asked me to re- register the software and it came back with an error saying "Machine signature failure as the software license has become invalid. You require to re-register your account details with the server." I sent an email to the support team with my details and my problem and they just sent me a return email asking for the details I already sent them!
I immediately snapped the cd in half and put the crap in the bin. I had already wasted 2.5 hours of my life installing and trying to get it to work, after the return email I realised that I was probably going to spend the next few weeks trying to communicate with a bunch of numb nuts and would be better off just cutting my losses.

I agree with the negetive review(s) 100%, not nearly as many 'cheat saves' availible as I would have liked, and the software doesnt even recognise that an XBox 360 memory unit is even connected. Overall a very poor product, as with the other posters, I would go as far as saying that it is complete and utter ### and that you should avoid it like the plague.

Microsoft banned without any reason!

I subscribe to xbox live service. Last week I was banned from playing for 1 day because they stated I abused there code of conduct, I accepted this as I did have the F word written on my profile, It has since been erased. I have since made sure I have not Disobeyed any of there rules as stated in there code of conduct. Yet I Have again been banned this time I have been banned for 1 week. This is unacceptable, I have not violated there terms. I called and there customer service, and was advised there was nothing the CSR could do to assist me in this matter as I am in violation. I asked her specifically what was done to violate this code of conduct and I asked for proof that I have violated it. She said they don't have to provide proof and there was nothing anyone could do. I asked to speak to s supervisor she said they cant do anything either and continued to repeat, this was my fault and no one can change this. I again asked for a supervisor as I am a paying customer that is dissatisfied, she put me on hold for about 3 minutes then hung up on me. I do sincerely hope all calls are recorded so that I may get the assistance that I need and the CSR in question can be trained in proper customer service. Regardless of this I would like some assistance in resolving this matter I am paying for a service that is not being used because they banned me again which I feel is an error on there part. If it is not then I would like proof of what i have done wrong as I will be sure not to repeat this mistake.

Xbox Live sucks. I have been banned 3 times in this year now that I started gaming. The file a complaint and submit a player review system is broken. 2 out of 3 times I was suspended wrongly. I had no mic for months and rarely texted but I was suspended to communication bans. What really gets me the most is the fact that Microsoft gives too much power to petty people and kids with the two mentioned systems in place, then there is no warning system which is stupid, and finally the enforcement teams generic and scripted messages which never address what you did to learn from your mistake or dispute said false charge. I honestly hate Xbox Live and will not support it anymore, it is too broken. I am going Sony and Nintendo. P.S. Microsoft is stealing gold from players regardless of what they say, if you are paying for something you can't use due to suspension it is stealing.

Somewhat recently set up a Gold subscription, soon afterwards found that the password for it and the Hotmail account is being denied, and now can not access my XBox Live account. I've tried everything I can think of to resolve this, but even the Hotmail password reset page is not functioning properly from my tablet nor my Windows 7 OS laptop. Complaints and Q&A processes for Microsoft in general don't seem to exist, ergo I am locked out of my Gold subscription and the Hotmail account connected to it.

about the xbox live ban system. why do the incontinent become the ones who are suspended. ive been in a augment recently over xbox live and next thing i know im suspended from communications and he was sending me threats and strings of cusses and all i called him was another word for donkey if you catch my drift. but with all the people on the internet who become baned that cant be coincidence. if i pay a monthly fee and play an M rated game should i be in fear of having to worry about some troll losing and becoming butt hurt and file complaint me and spamming them left and right but i become the one who is baned? its a M rated game for a reason stop being a ### and enjoy a laugh at augments. should xbox users have to worry about being suspended.

The Xbox Live Enforcement Team has permanently banned my account from all live gameplay on xbox. because of my bio- msg me if u want to buy a 50. i have had that bio since halo 3 came out and never had a problem. Ive been paying xbox $8 a month for years now on my own. I barily managed to afford it I'm only in highschool and love to play on Live in the spare time I have. Most of my money has gone into 1 account I can no longer play on because I said that. HUNDREDS of other halo players have had that same thing in their bio and have had no problems. Please let me continue to play on xbox live. I have put way too much time and effort into my account to start over. I had hundreds of friends i can't contact anymore. I'm not even able to see their gamertags anymore. Please help me out

I paid for a one time charge for my son to play Xbox Live one month. I've been dinged for a monthly charge ever since - for 7 months now! And yesterday I got another 29.99 charge just days after the monthly 7.99 charge. He isn't even in possesion the the game anymore! He's away in college and working 2 jobs and on a basketball team! the debit charges don't even have a phone number to call so I can dispute it! How do I stop the madness?

i have been ban off xbox live for having an inappropriate motto well it isn't my motto is : "crazzy mofu i am one" and if mofu isn't in the dictionary it isn't a word so how do they have the right to say weather it is or it isn't offensive :S .

I placed my credit card on the XBOX Live on July 2013. I have been charge every week until I look at my account on December 16, 2013. Ranging from $1.61 to 64.96 so I reported the incident to one of the XBOX agents and his response was I can refund only $ 60.00 and change the password. The last six months my debit card was charged and this is all you can do? His response was technology is getting more advance then every before.

They got me today 6Jan, 09. Gee, and I played along with them, till I got the office - White Arrow Express, and called them and asked whether they are scammer, (i know its a silly Q, but anyway) and then I realise that this is way too far to be true. and these scammer return and ask me to deposit the delivery fees to them, and the account goes to personal account, Ms. Margery Everitt, also in Douglas, Isle of Man. Surprisingly not to a business bank account, White arrow Express bank or etc...

Microsoft customer service dissatisfaction!

I am disgusted in the service you receive from calling Xbox360 Call center. [protected]. I have had to get my Xbox360 repaired twice. I spend at least 30 mins on the phone just to verify my name, address and phone number. I know who I am! Why do they need to ask me if its me? Unnecessary waste of time! So a ten minute phone call takes 45 mins. And they spend all that time relaying information back to you, continuous repeating themselves all the time. More time! They kept going round in circles when you've got a complaint. This is an Xbox360 experience, alright! Moral of the story! Do not buy an Xbox360! It gives you more breakdowns and having to deal with idiot customer service operators, than its worth! I'd rather pay my kids $1000 to drive me up the wall, and i have 5, hence why I bought the Xbox360 in the first place!

2 months after paying $500 for 360 with harddrive unit was needing repairs and they send a used box to replace and this 4th time i asked for all new the harddrive and vga cables are defective as well as the unit this time. i filed a complaint with bbb and consumer affairs and i am trying to get a class action suit against microsoft as well. i urge all who have had multiple problems to file for class action suit and see if we can get microsoft to come down off their high horse and address our complaints fair and not to their advantage

If you are thinking about buying an XBOX360 ! DONT DO IT ! There Junk ! I had nothing but problems with my XBOX360, And when I called, I talked to somebody that I could hardly understand. I wasted 45 minutes with an "AGENT" that was walking me around in circles. I told him my system crashed withen 15 minutes of logging on to XBOX LIVE...

Mailed in my XBox360 console for repair and it was returned to me unrepaired. I called the customer support and was totally confused by the employees. I was given numerous promises that my console would be repaired, and now I am being told that it will not be fixed. My console is still under warranty and this is horrible.

Is there anyone who can assist me with this matter. I paid alot of money for equipment, and now I'm without a console and my money.

Microsoft I regret buying this system

In June 2007 I went out and got a XBOX 360 elite (the latest console from XBOX) a bit after 3 months later the drawer started to make a noise when closing and would not play the disc. After this, like hundreds of customers I called XBOX spoke to some overseas operators gave them my address, waited for a box and sent it to them. It's been over 1 1/2 months now and I simply just got sick of calling them and always getting then to tell me that they have sent an e-mail to their service department and they have received it 1 month ago but don't know the status-

Yo will think that after having so many issues with the system they will at least have a faster turn-around on their product repair, but shame on them. I regret buying this system.

I did research AFTER I bought product from Chris and his CNC Imports. Lots reports on frauds. Lost almost $115 in process. These comments and complaints ARE completely and honestly true. I was a skeptic at first, but from what I have seen it's true.

I agree, Microsoft is lame!

My original console lasted about 8 months before I got a new one and now after another 9 months will not read media and turns off randomly

I called again and they said only the 3 red lights are covered for free...and I had to pay 100 bucks to get a new one.and when I refused to pay and asked for reasons why they would not stand behind their product I got the usual sorry sir B.S...and she even had the nerve to tell me that it sounds like the three red lights are probably going to happen and to call back when that happens.But it won't read any cds, if I can't use it how are the red lights going to happen!

I for one have had it with Microsoft and will be going to get a nice new PS3 (That will work for more than a few months)...If you want to get back at microsoft, just spread the word.Let anyone who is thinking about buying a system know that the 360 is a pile of CRAP and the support sucks!

I hope their next console flops!

Microsoft malfunctioning hardware

Dear Microsoft,

We are writing to complain about Microsoft XBox 360 consoles and Microsofts knowledge of a hardware malfunction. In the last year and a half myself and my partner have purchased two XBox 360 consoles, both of which developed the same problem - 'A hardware malfunction!

The first console purchased last year broke down just before Xmas and we were unaware of why because the hardware malfunction was not recognized by MS then. On this occasion however, we have been told that there is a hardware problem with the console by a very unhelpful lady called 'Ceza' at MS. Originally, we purchased a console for the maximum price at the time, we made use of this until it, a little after a year, ceased to function. We contacted Microsoft who "advised that at that time the console was not covered by the three month warranty and that they could not help". My partner then found streams of 'Blog' pages with similar problems, all of which stated that MS had problems with the hardware of the XBox 360 and new about it. Because of this MS have now extended their warranty due to a large number of faulty machines. At the time and because of the time and effort it would have taken to complain myself and my partner decided not to complain or take further action.

With some faith left we then decided to purchase another machine in February of this year at, once again, the maximum retail price. This console has also just broken down; we have contacted MS who confirmed that this is a hardware problem and that they would need to collect it and repair it. We find this very disappointing as for the second year running it has now broken down before Christmas. I also find it very scary that MS have extended their warranty because they are aware of problems with the product their are continuing to supply for sale. We are very grateful for MS to come and collect the console for repair, however this should not be the case as we are the ones having to follow this through. The product we purchased should not be experiencing problems, we should be able to have some faith in the hard earned money given to MS for the XBox 360. This is the second console brought from MS because of the faith that we have in the company. This faith sadly has completely disappeared. We would very much appreciate some response from MS on this matter. We do not want a repaired console, we want a console that will last the expected length of time.

I just want an XBOX 360 that works. I want to be treated with respect by your support line operators. My first 360 crapped out about 2 years ago with an E74 code. I was told that my console was out of warranty after 90 days. So I opted out of sending $99.99 to get it fixed and just bought another one…..and now my 2nd console just crapped out. Then today, I read that the warranty for my 1st console was extended. So I called the cust. support line and they tell me that the extended warranty for my console ended 5 months ago! Why was I not contacted! They had all my info on file -email, address, phone, but they stated that they had no record of my 2 calls to complain about that console. They stated they needed a reference # for the original complaint. WTF- WHO KEEPS REFERENCE #’S AFTER 2 YEARS! They have all my personal info on file but they state that I have no proof of my original complaints! I want some justice!

Xbox support have lied, given me false info, promised they'd replace a headset that apparantly in the end microsoft dont even make these headsets, so they promised me (4 times) to send me a replacement of equipment that some other company made, So why didn't support know this? Is their job isnt it to know these things? I explained how much it was, what make & model No irt was & i paid for it online with my debit card, & they said when they get this email with attached B statement as proof of purchase as Ive lost the receipt they will replace the same headset, The bank statement that was in my hand today clearly says payment debited to livexbox360, then XB support said ''i do not have livexbox360 written on my statement'' I said its here Im looking at it, ''NO YA HAVN'T'' ( Dimitris his name) again said.. I said'' you either callin me a liar? A Dyslexic, or ya taking piss''? He just basically then carried on treating me and talking to me like a idiot, he kept on repeating that id to take it back to the store where i bought it when he knew full well i purchased it on line & not in store and I copied this statement emailed it them, and Dimitris said he cant see what it said cause the attachment photo was too small but he was laughing, I told him he wouldn't be laughing when I play a recording of this convo we are having to my solicitor, he attitude changed then & said its illegal to do that & that he was putting phone down. I rang back another guy said he could see the attachment & he read out it says livexbox360 but then he said it wasn't part of Microsoft etc etc I cant tell you how pathetic, disgusting & I will not let this drop, cause now its a matter of principle & Dimitris would get a smack right in the nose if I was to meet him face to face... The cheeky little ****! Im fuming.

Yea so get this ###, my warranty expired on 8/29 @ 5:00pm PST. My POS 360 decided to RROD me on 8/30 @ 6:00pm a whole 25 ###ing hours after my 3 year extended warranty expired... WTF is that ### how can something break 25 hours out of warranty? now MS wants $100 to fix it, and wont even send me a box and packing material like they did previously... I swear, class action here i come, I just want my console repaired... I did not cause this hardware issue, it is a design flaw that they overlook and why should the end consumer foot the repair bill, warranty or not...

ABSOLUTE USELESS!

I'm getting to the point I want to break microsoft into little peices. I have called and emailed non stop after I got the ring of death (as they call it) I sent my xbox 360 to Germany where they told me I would get a replacement. 1 week later - I got my XBOX 360 Elite back stating it was tameperred with.!

WHAT A JOKE!
So I called them and made a complaint. they are very helpful at this stage... or so I thought! They calim they took photographs of the apparant seal that had been broken to justify it had been tameprred with. I ask to be sent a copy of these photographs showing my serial number in view. They calim they are not allowed to send sensitive information.

WELL THEN...

I am now taking court action against Microsoft as they have failed to:

1. repair my xboc 360 elite.
2. deny me access to the evidence when i clearly advised no tamperring had occured.

Their customer service is non-existing!

My first Xbox 360 that I purchased was on July something, 2008. My Xbox 360 only lasted for 9 months which was on April 24, 2009. I suffered 2 Red Flashing Lights on my console which is due to overheating. Well I have to say that my Xbox 360 could have lasted longer because it was in an enclosed space where dust gathers up, you can actually see dust on the side and on top of my xbox 360 but I never cared. I was too busy on gaming. Anyway I sent my Xbox 360 to Microsoft and they sent me the same Xbox 360, because I checked the serial number and it was the same, but whats different was the manufactured date. The date was 5/2/2009 which was the date that the console was fixed when I checked the repair status. So now I putted my xbox 360 on top of my Xbox 360 box that came with when I bought it. The Xbox 360 is about 1 Foot away from the wall and is on top of a hard would stand which is 4 feet high. I would always keep it clean and covered with a towel when i'm not playing. Then 2 days ago which was a Saturday 6/27/2009 I was playing Fight Night Round 4 which was released last Thursday 6/25/2009, then 2 hours later my screen froze during gameplay and I turned off my Xbox 360. I turned it on again and it has the Xbox 360 loading thing when you turn onwith the whole spiracle ball or whatever.. And it just stays on that screen. So I turned it off then on again and the screen was black, so I turned it off and called 18004myxbox and we did troubleshooting. Same thing happened black screen, but 1 minute later 3 Red Flashing Lights showed and I was shocked. So... Now i've packed it in the same shipped box that I received my Xbox 360 in.. And so I write this and wait..

Your xbox 360 console broke on the first day that I played it. the worst part of it was that before it got caught on fire it wouldn't read the disc that I just bought on that day. it kept saying to remove disc clean either the disc or the player and restart. First I cleaned the disc, it still didn't work. So I cleaned the player, it still wouldn't work. So I decided to clean both before restarting and then try it again. It didn't work and caught on fire. I did not use water to clean, I read the instructions so I could make sure that I didn't use something I wasn't suppose to. I was told to write to you I would appreciate the refund (if possible). I don't have the console but hope you can help me by helping me with getting money to get a new one.

can anyone tell me how i can get my hands on these 360 developers that are ripping everyone off.my 360 blows and i feel the need to get even.whether i can get a direct email address or go to their main office, somebody or somebodies are going to pay.anything to see these goofs face to face.i'm not scared to go back to jail.

Microsoft your ###ing console deleted my gamertag ! I worked so hard on my gamerscore and what does your console do it deletes my gamertag and everything on my MU! Microsoft if you dont get your act together many people are going to turn to other people whose consoles wont break as easily or delete all of your data !

I will not even begin to explain all my issues. Ive bought 3 xbox360 in my time. Two as gifts and One for myself.
Not one of those xboxs have survived to this day. Im on my 3rd repair with the 3 lights of death but at least the one good thing is, I leave 30 mins from the repair center and usually get it back within 3 working days.

This last repair, they seem to have lost my xbox. They offered me a free accessory again, and it would so up within 2 weeks. 2 days later I have receive the part but no xbox. The service.xbox.com
site says - waiting for item mean while, ups tracking number says its been there for 7 days. Ive called 3 times, and everytime they say the same thing, you'll get it tomorrow.

Ive asked every time, are you sure its going to be delivered tomorrow. And same response everytime - " yeah thats what the computer is telling me". Why is it they never log anything. Every time I call its like the first time. I have purchased over 20 games 4 remotes 4 headsets a vision cam to name a few.

I know am talking in circles but - I have some friends with the PS3 and i havent heard ### from them.

All microsft would have to do is take the problem seriously and for those who have had a number of issues get a new box, or for that matter a refurb elite to show they care. Heck, i even offered to pay the difference from the pro to the elite and he said no (skue # issue or some [censored]) and I paid 600+ on the first day (waiting 6 hours in line)

Now i showed that im a supporter of their product - why cant they show me the same courtesy.

I would love to fill a real complaint, but the seems impossible.

Microsoft unacceptable behavior!

Pulled into have my windows tinted with my brand new car, so new that it wasn’t hard to remember that it only had 564 miles on the OD. After reviewing the work and as I drove onto Maple road in rush hour traffic I was shocked to see 580 on the OD. I was already late for a client meeting so I called about it the next day. Getting the response I guess I would have expected from a company that drove my brand new, sporty not another on the road sports car. “We wouldn’t do that”. So thats what I’m telling you—Don’t do that. Don’t go to Sun Shade, Troy location. Because smart people, “wouldn’t do that”. This Sun Shade store is privately owned and isn’t affiliated with other stores. Don’t let Sun Shade—block out better judgment.

A new complaint: Someone calling himself Richard Gray is attempting to perpetrate fraud. He uses a yahoo.co.uk address to respond to, but when I opened his mail to block further mail, his address was 'richgry_07@ hotmail.com.
