Tomorrow morning-saturday, when I want to hand the duvet, I notice that there was tear that show that when the duvet was beeb sewed — the machine did not catch another part oft the material so while it was being washed - the material split

Fraud
I have just received the statement from Mr Price Account showing that purchases was made on the 24 March 2022 which I don't know of it. The same date I was at Waterfall mall in Rustenburg at about 13h30 trying to buy but they said I don't have credit only to find that someone used my account on that date and I have never lost my card. In short I didn't buy anything
No response to request to reduce credit limit
I have been requesting for a reduction of my credit limit to R2000 since the beginning of May.
Does Mr Price only increase limits so that we can drown in debts? Why is it such a problem when we try to get our finances in order and want to reduce credit limits?
I need response to this ASAP!

Men's Jacket
Hello,
I bought Men's Smart Bomber Padded Black Jacket [protected]) on Saturday, 09/04/2022 at Mr Price Maponya Mall.
Today when my partner wore it the inner part of the arm and the wrist part were found to be torn.
We were so disappointed to observe such.
Please advise on whether we should take it back to the store for exchange since it doesn't have the tag on.

I bought two bras which were a pair. I didn't fit them as per rules. I just realized that they're not the same size. One is 36E and one 40E. When I took them from the isle they were written 36E on the price tag. I am really disappointed and wasted money since the regulations don't allow them to be returned. I'm defeated. One bra is short of a strap.

I don't want the Mr Price sim card , I can't be paying R150 every month for just a sim card. [protected]@gmail.com. Mr price service is very poor and their agents are unprofessional.

Insurance claim
On the 05 April 2022, I submitted a claim form with all necessary documentation. I was told to expect an sms or call regarding my claim and received nothing. On the 07 April 2022, I resubmitted the claim again two times and was told to expect a response within 2-4hrs at minimum. I did not get a call nor an sms regarding my claim. I called the insurance number (mrpmonitor) again on the 07 April 2022.
My claim was only processed later on the 07 April and again I was told that I would receive a call within 2-4hrs. On 08 April 2022, I called the insurance again only to find out that my claim has not been registered again.
I know that a claim cannot be processed according to my desire but It has been over five days calling and submitting claim forms and documents but with no satisfactory response. I have not lapsed nor have I struggled to pay my accounts and insurance on time. My greatest concern is that this claim is not only taking too long but the agents assisting me on the matter are not taking the matter to head.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response ASAP along with an apology. I would also appreciate it if you take my complaint and claim seriously. Iwould like for my claim to be processed ASAP
Call received from the accounts dept
Good Morning
I am very disgruntled by the call I received this morning from your accounts department.
I expressed that i am having trouble logging in online to make payment, he then tells me if I cannot go to the shop so i replied stating no i cannot as i finish at 6pm. I am then told if I cannot go to an atm, and I said I cannot go at that time as it is dangerous. He then abruptly says that he is then handing me over to the credit bureau and not understanding my response.
I requested to speak to his manager as he was very rude in his approach which is not right as I have been a customer of mrp for a very long time. He then says have a good day and cuts the call. If this is the service I receive from you guys and the type of calls I get first thing in the morning then clearly you do not value your customers and their loyalty.
I will be settling my account by this weekend. If this matter is not resolved and I do not receive an apology from the guy that contacted me I will not purchase from mrp ever again and I will report this on social media as this was truly unnecessary and could have been handled in a much more professional and respectful manner.

Complaint: cellphone insurance claim

I am so disappointed with the service and experience I have received from Mr. Price vangate mall.
In September 2021, I bought a phone at Mr. Price vangate just before they closed the store. I also purchased insurance with the phone, because I travel a lot for work.
I had an unfortunate accident in early February this year where my phone was stolen. I have called the insurance company to inform them and I was told they cannot pick up my records and I have to return to Mr. Price Vangate Mall and ask them to capture my information so that my claim can be processed.
I was in East London at the time, so I went to Cape Town especially to get this resolved because I used this phone as my work phone. I went vangate on the 7th of March to get assistance so that I can proceed with the claim. I was assisted by a lovely gentleman Letuka and he had an issue with his Pad to capture my information. He then advised he will forward this request to his manager for further assistance. I have been trying to get hold of Letuka and someone to assist from the 11th of March with no luck. Eventually, Letuka responded on the 22nd of March to advise that they are moving stores and their Pads have been looked away so he is not yet sure if the manager responded he will get back to me. I am still waiting for his response, as I have been trying to get hold of him over the phone and via whats app.
I am pleading for your assistance for the last now, I am also in the insurance industry and this is not TCF (treating the customer fairly). If I do not get a response within 7 days. on how you are planning to resolve this matter. I can assure you that I will be referring the matter to the customer ombudsman because this is no longer about the R199 insurance it is about keeping your promise and making sure that you provide a good customer experience.

Good day I went to visit Mr price lephalale mall, those people have no manners and treat us like trash, they have a very bad customer services and is not good at all, Theres a lady called gladness she's only thinking about hersel n she's selfish around 11 in the morning dated 1 April 2022, you need to provide them with training including customer service and how to treat customers and how to deal with customers coming inside the stores asking for customer service I'm really not happy with the service that I received 😔😔😔😔

Good day i went to visit mr price store in Belleville on sat 26th of march 2022. After paying for my stuff i went towards the door to exit tge shop 1 of the staff members mail african guy was standing chatting with 2 afircan ladies i asked hm 3 times exuse me sir excuse me sir excuse me sir. Credit/Exchange Policy

I was in you Mr Price, President Hyper branch in Vanderbijlpark. I purchased two of 5pk Boyleg underwear yesterday 19/3/2022 at 13:48:21. By the time we got home we realised that one pair was a size S instead of M, I was unable to immediately return to the store as it was closed, however I was there just past 10am today 20/3/2022. I was informed by the cashier that they do not return underwear. I explained to the cashier that this was a human error as the other pack my daughter took was a Medium, and it is evident from the packaging that it hasn't been opened or worn. The cashier called a gentleman by the name of Hloni, who relayed this same message to me, he further told me that I should read Mr Price's policies & procedures on the back of the slips. I told him that realistically I doubt that every customer reads the back of their slips before leaving the store. Further more I asked him to please provide me the evidence/signage in his store where it states that underwear will not be credited or exchanged, he was unable to provide me with such. At the front door there is a signage that indicates that "Important Notice No items will be exchanged or refunded without an original till slip or e-docket as proof of purchase". Surely if this is an "important" policy then it should be included on this important notice at the front door. I take cognisance of the fact that for hygiene reasons, underwear can't be credited/exchanged however when taking the above circumstances into consideration, I believe that every credit transaction of such should be decided on it's own merits. If I had brought it back tomorrow or next week, I would understand, but I took it back as soon as I could when the store was open, it is not like my daughter wore 5 or any of the underwear since we bought it yesterday afternoon until this morning. I feel that a blanket approach has been taken and the facts have not been considered in this matter.
And by telling me to read the back of my slip, no reasonable person/customer does this. When purchasing these items, I had no intention of crediting/exchanging this one item, therefore common sense dictates, why would I want to read my receipt?
Generally I don't purchase at the Mr Price group mainly because of the service in the stores however because of the range of merchandise they have for teenagers, we reconsidered, but this hasn't been a pleasant experience.
Desired outcome: I trust that management of the Mr Price Group will access the above facts and base their decision on the merits of the case.
It has been 2 weeks since I lodge this complaint, to date I have not received a response.
Wrong airtime purchase transactions on statement
I received my statement, and there are transitions of me buying airtime like R400 and R100 on the same day, when I had requested for the card to be cancelled because I simply needed an MRP account and not it, I don't understand how because I had requested the assistant to stop the sim card, this is soo unprofessional, and when I made queries about the purchase the lady is like I can not help you, I had to ask her to advise me on what to do next
Desired outcome: I would like for those transaction to be not on my statement. mrp should look into their privacy settings and start over because if anyone can take a sim card and purchase airtime just like that then the security in that is very low and bad
Dirty, open bedding sent
Its is unacceptable that I have to pay full price for your premium range items but then you send me bed linen that is open en dirty and not closed in the original packaging. Its not acceptable that you send the open dirty stock that no one will buy off the shelf in store to your online customers. I did not get these items at a discounted rate. Totally appalled. Not acceptable. Buying bedding is expensive and something that I saved for and was excited by has no turned i to a experience where items cost me a arm and a leg and I get it dirty thrown into a box.

Staff at Mr price in Hartswater
Good Afternoon
I am really unhappy with Mr Price in Hartswater staff members. The staff is always unfriendly and the shop is always unneat. The one lady once sowore my husband i always loved Mr price but ever sincegoing to Mr Price in Hartswater the service is bad.
There is always 1 person helping at the till and the others just stand around the manager is really a big fail even if he sees staff being rude to clients he says and does nothing.
Statement with non cancelled contract
I've canceled my contract after I paid my account in full last year and received the sms to say my cancellation my successful, to my surprise Mr. Price is still sending me a statement with my data contracts which I do not get and use every month.
I phoned several times every time they put me through nobody answer, I request this to be canceled immediately because I will also retrieve the calls from last year recorded for my cancellation and will meet in court so they can pay all my money that they say I'm owing them.

Opening of an account
I went to Mr Price Sport in George to open an account today the 10h of February 2022. The Lady who help me, did everything on her Tablet. She then reluctantly said me my account has been rejected, but could not give me a reason why the account has been rejected. She did not even find out for me what the reason was, she just kept helping other people or so it looks at time. I then phoned the number her colleague gave me. The lady on the other side said the lady who help me at the store punched in my salary of R20000.00 and also followed by that deductions of R30000. 00. I have never in my life said to the lady she must punch in R30000.00. She clearly made a mistake, and now she could not rectify it on store level. Can someone please assist.
