on the 03/09/2022 i received a call from one of your agents telling that i have been approved for Mr. price account which i have to take my ID to the nearest store and on the 07/09/2022 I took my ID to Kempton park festival mall and when I got there I approach one of your staff to activate my account but punching reference number was told that the ref no have been used and now is today is 30 days waiting for feedback on the case reported which was recorded on the 11/09/2022. so can one of your guys get back to me please

I'm not happy about the service I got today at Mr price home in highveld mall witbank, I wanted to buy four cups using my account they told me that I should produce my ID before I can make a purchase while I did issue them my card. I told them I don't have it with me, they reply and said sorry we can't help you so if it's a law that we should produce an account card as well as my ID why do Mr price not inform us instead before we can be treated as fools while in the shop

Today I was doing some shopping at Mr price in mount frere at ntsizwa mall I am not setisfied with customer service I spent almost an hour on a queue and I left without being assisted that is just a poor service there's no way one could stand on a queue for such a long time and one cashier had the audacity to leave her till whilst there are customers that need to be attended.
Desired outcome: Either you teach your employees about the importance of serving customers properly

Refund not being paid out
On the 27.09 2022 I made two payments. On the 28.09.2022 I called the Customer Service to request a refund. i was informed to send a copy of my ID and proof of bank statement eventhough that they acknowledge the two payments i had to sent the documentation which i did 3-4 times. I receive receipt of the refund application only to find out that i have to also received an reference no because that means that it was received and in process which i did not received. I then said i will send an email to M. Blair because this is unexcepttable but this morning i received an email stating i must send my Bank statement reflecting my name, surname and account no which i obviously did sent twice already so what am i to do now.

False advertising, incompetent staff with very bad customer service
On Sunday 2/10/2022,I visited your Boksburg branch in the hope that I'd score myself some nice items from the buy 1 get 1 free promotion.spent quite some time as I was struggling to find something that I liked, finally found shoes with a "priced to go" sticker,got something eventually to take with that as the free item and made my way to the tills, as payment was processed I was then told by your employee (Sello lapane ) that the shoes are not on sale and she asked that I take her to where I had seen them marked to go,took her and she saw it for herself and asked that she calls the manager.The Manager(Roshel Prince) came,had a talk with the staff that was near and we all moved to the tills,she got busy at the till then left and then I was told that I must pay R100 for the shoes as the manager did an over write then still pay for the item that I had taken as the free item.No apology or explanation was offered to me,they spoke to themselves and ignored my presence and I was then presented with an amount to pay.i refused to pay the amount presented as I took items priced to go and as per your adverts both instore and online all priced to go items, buy 1 get 1 free.the staff kept preaching that the items on promo must have a red sticker on them, I'm assuming they were referring to the "on sale sticker" but couldn't provide me with proof of that, the manager had to intervene again and she was just as rude as her staff,she was also singing the "items must have a red sticker" on them,I asked that I been shown the T and c's of the promo so I see were that's written but they failed numerous times to provide me with proof.the only thing I got from them was attitude and when I asked how it's my fault that the item was priced incorrectly,Roshel told me the employee who did the pricing will be getting a warning.how does such info get revealed to a customer, was it to make me feel bad for fighting for my rights as a loyal customer of Mr Price?Please advertise correct info and educate your staff on the happenings of the store.by far this is the worst customer service I've ever had from both staff and management. If your staff can't respect and empathize with your customer they will soon take you out of business.i wasted my time and petrol and canceled a commitment I had as I didn't want to miss out on this deal as I was told it was ending on that day. I received an email saying I've chosen a funeral policy from your store. I did not ask or sign for any funeral policy. I opened an account and I said no when they asked if i need any policies but a few days later I got that email

Went to the Middelburg Mpumalanga CBD store before closing..
Only one till operating that I can understand since its closing time.
Another lady comes to the till and immediately one of her colleagues walk to the till and start ringing up stuff for her that she was buying. The first opened till took a while but the staff members just continued with what they where doing and the que went from me standing there to three more people I believe that there was a manager on duty but didn't pay attention to this because it seems to be a norm... should staff not have specified time to buy.. why should we wait while they occupy the tills.

Bureau listing
My Mr Price account was fraudulently used in June. It took two months of constant emails and calls by myself for Mr Price resolve the issue and write off the debt. However by that time they had already handed me over to the Credit Bureau, whereas when lodged the fraud case with them I was told not to pay my account until the issue is resolved.
This issue was resolved a month ago. When I forwarded the document to the Bureau showing that the account had been cleared and asking for that listing to be removed I was told that Mr Price must be the one to send that information.
Attempts to request this from Mr Price via numerous emails and calls has been unsuccessful. My emails are ignored and the accounts department cannot give me answers.
This listing is reflecting badly on my credit status to a point that I was declined a home loan because of this.
IO find it very appalling that Mr Price ignores it's customers in such a way. I even have the names of the individuals who I was emailing and they did not respond to me. If They do not get back to me with a solution I will publicize them.
Desired outcome: I need this record removed from the Bureau.
In 2021 someone open an account at Kempton Park MR Price, using my details, took credit for R8000, i went to mr price to lay a complain, they said i must go to the police station to get an afdavid letter which

Fraudulent Account
I February I found out there was an account opened under my name and it was not done by me. I called Mr Price Group and I was informed to send through my affidavit and ID. I was promised feedback after 30 days of an investigation from the 27th of February but up until now I have not received any feedback. The account still reflects under my name on ITC and I cannot take credit because my ID number was listed on the SAFPS without a complete investigation from Mr Price Group. Can you close this up.
Desired outcome: I need written confirmation that the account was closed and I need the details of the investigation.

This is unacceptable to say the least. I keep getting phone calls which I am UNABLE TO ANSWER, AS I AM AT WORK, but still these people try to phone me on a daily basis.

Fraudulent account
Account was fraudulently opened on my name. I have never opened an account. I only realised that when I check my Networth on my FNB account that there is Mr Price account that is in arrears. I tried to dispute through consumer experian but is not yet fixed. I received message today from VVM debt collectors that I owe R232.50 which must be paid before 30 September 2022 to avoid credit record.
I have been unemployed for the past 2 years and I don't even qualify to open account, I have never opened an account with Mr Price and I don't have any other clothing account. Please assist in clearing this fraudulent account.

Good evening
I purchased a few Jeans from the MR Price store in Cresta while the jeans were on special 2 for 250.
What a great buy though... getting 4 jeans for R500.
Unfortunately I write/type out this complaint due to the fact that I had purchased a black skinny jeans pretty and all. wore it atleast 3 times with out washing because I'm always scared to wash my black things to often due to the colour fading.
After wearing my Black Jeans 3 times and then only washing it as per instructions on jeans. I'm sad to say that after the very first wash my jeans in no longer black but Grey/stone wash black if that is even colour.
I bought a black jeans from Edgar's last year some time normal Kelso brand nothing pricey and I was pleased to say that the jeans is only now starting to fade ABIT.

Bad service at mrp clothing
Bought clothes online beginning of July, on the 13 of July 2022, they delivered a wrong order and they told me they re-deliver my order. I waited until 31 August 2022 and called customer care service. They cancelled my order and told me they will refund me within 24-48hours. I called them again after 7 days and told me there was an error on my refund. They told me to wait for another 24-48hours. And it have been 4 days now and still nothing. I feel like MR price is a scam. I want my money back.
Desired outcome: I want my money back and I don't want anything to do with Mr price anymore.

An account was opened on the 16th July 2022 in my name. Found out today through a call from collections that I owe 1k. I was told to get an affidavit and send it through to launch investigations. I confirmed this through TransUnion. It has already left a footprint on my profile and its frustrating that a company can open an account and issue 8k credit without verifying the tru identity of the person opening the account.

I paid my account in June and July 2022 using EFT and both payments went to Mr Price Short Term Claims - Fulcrum Collections instead of MR price money acc no: [protected]. The return of my phone taking too long to return
