Murphy USA Fuel CC0886622
On 6/29 I gotten gas at 7035 W. Wheatland Rd Dallas, TX. After pumping fuel my car would not start after 3-4 tries my car started. I took my car home next day my check engine light came on. I contact Murphy to let them know. Which I received an email from customer service to contact TDLR which I did a few days later. After contacting TDLR they denied going...

I had a friend (was more like family) who was working at Murphy's USA in Lake St. Louis, Missouri as a manager/supervisor and she needed employees asap. At first I was just volunteering my time to help her out, then was hired on full time.
(Note: I never worked a gas station by myself before this.) Shortly after being hired is when the drama started.
I was told by her that I wasn't doing my job correctly. The job description never included the items she asked me to do which were the following:
1. Maintenance on gas pumps.
2. Show up on my day off.
3. On the 2 days I had off on the schedule I was told that I had to come in her rule was "If she had to work so did I", Never got paid for the 2 days a week that I worked when I was supposed to be off. She told me that I wasn't getting paid for those days cuz I clocked in too many hours and her job would be on the line.
A week prior to the store getting shut down due to COVID-19, I noticed her smelling like alcohol on a daily. The day of the store getting shut we all had to go get tested for COVID, everyone had it except me, I ended up with walking pneumonia and got really sick. She told me since I was the only one who didn't have COVID that I had to go work (she knew I was sick already.) I reminded her that I was sick and couldn't go in, she kept threatening to fire me. So I quit. Now in 2022 I applied at the Murphy's in Quincy IL and was told they needed help that they only had 2 employees, so put in my application and was that I didn't fit the qualifications. Fast forward to this past Friday I applied at Murphy's in Carbondale, IL and was told that I was Blacklist and that I needed to call HR or the corporate number to see what's going on. I am expressing my concern on here because how many other people has she done that to?
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a reason I would like an apology and I would like to get off of The blacklist
Gas clerks
Two complaints, Number 1 I fill my tank on Saturday. After 20 mins of driving I park and leave the car. Upon coming back I have check engine light and other warning indicators. I have very bad engine misses this goes on for two days even after resetting warning lights. I fianally use about 1/2 a tank by just driving around for 2 days and go fill the tank up with Exxon. I drive around for about 1/2 hr and when I restart no more warning lights no more hesitation. You so;d me $39 of worthless gas. Number 2 I go to buy my igarettes which I've done everyday for about 10 years. When I got home I discover he gave me 100's instead of kings, I immeaditly go back to the store and the clerk refuses to give me what I ordered and started blaming me telling me it was my fault. He still has my cigarettes so now I'm out $39 from last week $16 from today and the worst feeling towards Murphy USA I've ever had. My app is deleted, my patience has run out with your company.

Disrespectful customer
The Murphy station #7169 (Wapakoneta, OH.) needs to pay attention to disrespectful customers that sit talking on their cell phone for lengthy periods in their vehicle blocking other from access to the pumps. This selfish man held up me and others waiting to pump gas. After complaining to him, he has a few choice words for me as though he's better and more...

New clerk refused to sell me and my wife cigarettes after seeing both our state issue Identifications. Not the problem even though we have been going to this store for years. Problem is clerk ran and jumped on the phone to call the police on me and my wife because I said to my wife "this is [protected]@#!ing ridiculous, let's go." Not only is that filing a false police report, that is just wrong calling the police on somebody for absolutely no reason. By the way my wife is clearly 40, while I look a bit young at 45, I do have white stripes in my beard & was wearing my security work attire. Clearly didn't want to sell us cigarettes to be rude or for some personal issues with customers..
Desired outcome: Will talk to my lawyer if I am even so much as contacted by law enforcement. Fired or minimal customer service course & fine for calling the police on customers for no reason.
Murphy Rewards
I stopped in Gainesville,Ga. around 1:00 PM. to gas up at Murphy USA. I got the feeling the female white woman did not know what she was doing. This store was not in a Walmart parking lot. I got exactly $40.59 in unleaded gas. I entered my phone number, but never got credit for it. I called your customer service number, and they refused to do anything. I went out of my way to find a Murphy USA. I’m really pissed off with Murphy USA. My phone number is +[protected]. If I don’t get my account credited, I will start gassing my vehicles up at other locations.
Desired outcome: Credit my account
Very rude customer service!
I have been here twice and guy was very rude! he should not be in customer service... I will spend more and take my buisness else where! people in retail has to be patient and nice this guy is a joke and needs to be somewhere where he is not the face of a buisiness. Both times was in late afternoon and evening. Very sad people that spend there money at your store has to put up with this... Wakeup!
Desired outcome: HE NEEDS TO BE GONE. YOU ARE LOSING BUISINESS. IF HE IS RUDE TO ME HE WILL BE THE SAME TO ALL CUSTOMERS....
Murphy gas app
Downloaded, your app, no directions, on how to get points, when you fill-up... Before purchase, when inside, and talked to lady, about how to get my points, she said she wasn't familiar, with how it works, but said: just follow directions, when you, place your card in, and it will prompt, for your-phone number, at some point... Did exactly, as, she said, it never came up... Went back inside, and referred, me to someone else... Lady said, you have to wait, for-msc, or whatever to come up, then press it... And I said: why isn't that printed on the pump, for your loyal customers? No answer, but was told I lost my $50.00, worth of points... Your app, shouldn't be this difficult, to work... How are you going to fix this? We always bought a card inside of walmart, and now you changed, everything... Store was on fairmont and near sam houston toll way
Desired outcome: FIX IT
Bad gas
On Thursday, December 2nd I went to a Murphy Oil in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and filled my tank with gas. Drove the 53 miles home. By the time I was back at work my check engine light came on. I have regular and routine maintenance on my vehicle with the dealership where I bought it. My car is a 2017 Toyota Camry, well I parked the car and drove my son'...

I bought gas at a Murphy gas station on Friday the 22nd of October. On Monday the vehicle started to shake and vibrate going to work. I did not use the vehicle over the weekend. I took the vehicle to a Ford dealership and they said I got bad gasoline. They had to drain the tank and blow out the lines. it cost me $665.00 which includes the gas I had to replace in it. I need to be reimbursed as I can not afford this kind of expense. Thank you!
Desired outcome: Refund
Malfunctioning Pumps
Location: Shelbyville, KY 40065
For two months the pumps have been malfunctioning when anything but regular is selected. Today, it took 18 minutes to pump 24 gallons. The clerk said that they had been worked on yesterday...but, the problem remains. Another customer ask me if I was having the same problem and I said yes. She said she did not have time to deal with it and left. I have been a regular customer but find the continuation of this problem more than just an annoyance. I will have to go somewhere else to get my gasoline.

Horrible customer service
You can be as nice as you can to the women in the store on Pensacola Blvd but these women are just plain rude and hateful I rather pay extra money for gas and cigarettes than to deal with such a horrible hateful person this happens EVERY TIME I GO IN THERE I LIVE 5 min away and would rather drive 15 minutes than to deal with obnoxious hateful brats
Desired outcome: Customer service training

Desired outcome: Think She should be fired especially smoking at a gas station risking people safety.
tobacco
I was refused the purchase of cigarettes even though I am 19 years of age before December 31 2019 as stated in statue SECTION 6. Arkansas Code § 26-57-203(11)-(40) "(19)(A) "Minor" means a person who is under twenty-one (21) years of age.
(B) "Minor" does not include a person who:
(i) Is under twenty-one (21) years of age if the person presents a military identification card establishing that he or she is a member of the United States Armed Forces; or (ii) Has attained nineteen (19) years of age as of December 31, 2019;"
Water in diesel fuel
I filled up with fuel / 16 gallons, drove approx 35 miles and the truck died and could not get it started. It had to be towed to dealership and they discovered there was water in the fuel. The fuel was saved in containers, I have all receipts, milage and info necessary. It contaminated the entire fuel system and all 8 injectors and fuel rails have to be replaced, at a cost of 8804.08. I filed a complaint with the customer service dept, filled out all the personal info for me and the mechanic filled out their service report form. They said they had 5 days to investigate the claim and would get back to me. I FINALLY called on the 5th day to check the claim and they informed me the claim was denied and I would be sent a letter letting me know why.
I selected the $1.99 fuel additive, but it gave me the $7.99 one instead! Then my vehicle ran badly, stalling and sputtering. My son's truck did the same thing. We had to get some Seafoam to put in it to get rid of the water.
Gasoline Pump
OK, about a week ago, I went with my grandfather to a Walmart Murphy USA Gas station. I went and started the auto-pump thing, while grandpa went to the store. I was looking around, and wondered why the pump was taking so long. I suddenly heard splattering, and I saw that gasoline was spraying from the pump and all over. I yelled for my younger brother, age 6, to "Get the heck out of the car and run to the sidewalk, " because an (idiot) was smoking next to the gas. My grandpa hit the Emergency Stop button, but the manager came out and started yelling at us. He claimed it was our fault for not "Properly inserting the pump", but the auto-stop thing was busted without me knowing. He claimed we had to pay for all the spilled gasoline, about 25 Gallons. (more than $100), which we were forced to do. I am never going to visit Walmart's "Quality Fueling Stations" ever again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Next time pay attention and don't wander around while the car is fueling.

On Christmas day about 11 a.m. my husband went to get gas, not realizing that the station was not open. He was at your location on 291 Hwy. Harrisonville, Mo. He swiped our debit card and then realizing that the pumps were not on he cancelled the transaction. Later I discovered on our bank statement that a $1 preauthorization was put on my card now I do not really have a problem with that, because that is pretty normal. What I have a problem with is the $75 dollar preauthorization fee that my bank statement is showing. I contacted your asst. manager at that location and was told this is common policy to charge this amount. I told her this has never occurred before and asked for the corporate number. She gave it to me and I called only to be told that this is your company's policy to do this and it should be reversed in 24 to 36 hours and if not to contact my bank, etc. This should never have been preauthorized to my card, since the transaction was cancelled, and I as the customer should not have to go through the hassle of reclaiming any funds that may occur from this transaction. If this is your policy to put $75 preauthorizations on customer's cards then you can consider me an ex customer of any of your gas stations.

Recently I filled up tank at Murphy USA in Abbeville LA with regular unleaded fuel. 5 minutes away my car started miss firing. When I got further down the road my car completely died. After examination I found half a tank of water.
While I in no way condone the actions or attutude of the employee who stranded you for 15 minutes, I have to say as a former (not entirely disgruntled) employee, it is hard to stay positive working for Murphy. More than likely, that cashier was counting the precious cigarette inventory for the third time that day. You see, Murphy hires employees and then beats them up about theft imagined or otherwise. By the time you (in my case voluntarily) leave the company you are questioning your own integrity, when in fact they steal from their own employees. Regardless, poor service is poor service.

This store is not honoring their in stock guarantee
Bonham Texas Murphy Oil. This store is not honoring their in stock guarantee.
The older female (manager) on July 7, 2009 stated she was not honoring the in stock guarantee because she did not honor enough product, Smokeless tobacco. She stated the in stock guarantee is only if they run out and not honored if they make the mistake in ordering not enough products. I feel this is wrong, she must be pocketing the $5.00 for each customer and making her a tidy profit. This is the only store that has this policy that I have ever encountered. Someone needed to check into this. You are loosing customers and getting a bad reputation.
One very upset customer.

Same problem in Houston Texas with grizzly wintergreen long cut said as long as they had a wintergreen in any variation Pouches or fine cut they couldn't honer the guarantee.
murphy at azle tx has same problem because the skoal pouches are on sales 5 at the price of three. but they try to never have 5 of any one flavor. we are talking about over 7 bucks at today's prices.
