MyPrepaidCenter.com Sale didn't go through-need my refund

I received a virtual card from a class action through Equifax. I made a purchase and the transaction didn't go through like the 1st one did for whatever odd reason. I'm trying to get my money back. Paypal says pending, vendor has no record of purchase and Mastercard virtual card has the money deducted. I can't access online, can't contact anyone just automated. I want my money so I can use my money and move on. They need to make this easier.

MyPrepaidCenter has let you down. Take snapshots of the payment, the debit, and PayPal’s pending progress. Reach MyPrepaidCenter on their support team platform and seek for a solution. Should they be uncontactable for further advice, proceed to card issuer’s bank. Raise a claim through PayPal and have them get it back from the card company. You can also report to CFPB if need be due to this poor conduct or misconduct arising from such an eventuality. Make sure they do not block your cash as a hostage.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Constant decline error message - unuseable virtual mc

I waited so long to recieve my virtual mastercard for a settlement I claimed. Unfortunately, I'm unable to link it to my Google Pay, PayPal or Samsung Pay. I've tried creating profile to see it the would help activate the card but like others I am unable to use the card online. I keep getting declined and the error message to contact support. This is frustrating because I've never had this problem with any other virtual card service. I contacted support but nothing. This is my last resort. Can this issue be resolved so I can spend the money granted to me.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Card expired

Received a 200.00 gift card and on the card, it says Funds Do Not Expire but when I went to activate it, they said funds have been removed and it was expired. This is Fraud, your card company received the money and Visa cards should not expire, I was saving it because we were moving in June and wanted to use it after we settled in, and they said it expired in April. I am going to contact legal and report this to the BBB. This is a total Scam! I would love this resolved and receive my 200.00 dollars. I am also telling the company who gave it to me as a gift, so their legal department is aware of what is happening so others do not get scammed.

It's incredibly frustrating to find out that your gift card funds have been removed despite the claim that they do not expire. Good on you for deciding to contact legal and report this.

It's truly unfair and feels like a scam, especially when you had plans for that money after your move. Letting the company who gifted it to you know is a smart move; they should be aware of what's happening. I hope this gets resolved soon so you can get your $200 back.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Unable to access my $420

I received Mastercard gift cards from my employer and am unable to access them. Yesterday, at a retail merchant, we wasted a half hour trying to redeem the value from my Apple Wallet. All 3 cards requested PINs to access, yet no PIN was ever set up for these gift cards. The website offers no resolution. The phone number has disconnected me every time I've called, even when I actually spoke to someone. He did not call me back. This is very frustrating, and I would like access to MY $$$!

Recommendation: Do not add to your virtual wallet.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Cant use the card declined in a every store listed!!!

I tried every single store listed at least once and i have been declined every single transaction. Ive linked the card to my wallet. Ive called the number all i get is automation. $50 on a card cant even purchase $2 item. I have nothing good to say about this company. I have to check my email for a verification code to check my balance every single time even though i have account with them...

Recommendation: Never use the company

MyPrepaidCenter.com No customer service to resolve issue

I've tried to use my rebate card for an online purchase. The company I am purchasing from keeps saying the card issuer is declining the purchase. I have gone online and registered the card, and no changes. I have called and went through their entire phone menu. One option states if you are having problems with online purchases, to go to the website and go to your profile and update your billing address there. But, when you go to the website, the only thing the Profile section offers is a way to change your name, email or password. NOTHING about updating your address. So you can't fix the problem, and there is no human you can reach to help you.

MyPrepaidCenter.com The worst in class company of its kind

The credit cards they issue work well, sure, but god forbid you want to manage them by logging on your online account. You can never successfully login even when you have the right password. When you reset your password, it doesn't rightaway, you need to give it at least half a day and then try again. There's no way to contact the support team other than by calling which doesn't work half the time. Just the most pathetic service!

Recommendation: Please do not do business with them

Activated Card Declined Everywhere – Misleading and Unusable

I activated my prepaid card, but it has been declined at every location I’ve tried to use it. This is incredibly frustrating and feels like a scam. To make matters worse, the card comes with a very short expiration period—after which the funds are lost (conveniently for the issuer, not for the customer).

The website clearly states that the card can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted. This is false advertising, as it has not worked at any Mastercard location I've attempted.

I request immediate assistance from a customer service agent to resolve this issue. At the very least, I’d like the card unlocked so I can transfer the remaining balance to an online wallet or account.

This practice of issuing cards with limited usability and short expiry is unacceptable and should be subject to legal scrutiny.

I have a Visa Prepaid Gift card that expires today and I am trying to use it now. I have been trying to use it the past few hours and it keeps declining. It is currently 7 pm here and it is still May 31. I do not understand why it is declining and I would like to use it as it has a balance of $208.78. I have been trying to call the number too but have been on hold.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Visa prepaid debit card

My card expired last month, but despite that I should have funds left as outlined in my Cardholder Agreement. My balance was $19.06. The fee for an expired non-reloadable card is stated to be only $3.75, so after only one month I should have $15.31 remaining. However, I am told my account closed and cannot get assistance over the phone. Online, I cannot add my expired card to an account (the phone system directed me to do this, it is not possible). My funds are inaccessible, and I cannot reach anyone. I know this is not a lot of money to be upset about, but this seemingly violates the Cardholder Agreement I was given and I am concerned blocking me from the remaining funds is fraud.

Desired outcome: I would like to access my remaining funds immediately or receive an explanation as to why the information on my Cardholder Agreement is not being honored.

FINAL UPDATE: After attempting to file a BBB complaint, someone from Black Hawk Network reached out. I was correct about the Cardholder Agreement not being honored properly.

I was offered a digital replacement gift card for the full amount owed to me, which I did receive. I am satisfied with the outcome, but the amount of effort it took to reach it on my end is unacceptable. How are many other people's gift card funds are unfairly seized, and what happens if they don't have the time to reach out across multiple platforms for a resolution? Why is this company so impossible to get in contact with? I still have ethical concerns about the operation of this company.

If you need assistance with a similar issue in the future, it may be better to reach out to https://support.blackhawknetwork.com/support rather than through My Prepaid Center.

It has been two weeks, and it is now the end of another month. My issue is unresolved and the company is unresponsive here and impossible to reach by phone or online. I assume the plan of My Prepaid Center is to ignore me until all of my owed funds are lost to their "fees," and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. This is not a lot of money for me to lose access to, but it makes me concerned about how many other people's funds are stolen in this way unnoticed and how many elements of the Cardholder Agreement are simply ignored by this company.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Card declining everywhere online!

I received a $144 virtual Mastercard from a settlement claim. It's been activated but I'm unable to use the card anywhere online!  It keeps getting declined and the error message to contact bank. I've tried eBay & Amazon both declined This is frustrating because I've never had this problem with any other virtual card service. I try contacted support multiple times always says busy so i wait on the phone for couple hours, but I never get to speak to someone. I'm so fed up with them! Its the worst customer service!

I activated the card successfully on the website but when I tried to use it to purchase a Dyson Vacuum, I received an error message. When I tried to add the card to my Apple Wallet as I've done with o other gift cards but, I received another error message and was advised to contact the Administrator. I tried calling the number on the back of the card and the service does include an option for this issue and hung up on me when I asked to speak with a representative. I have a $500 dollar gift card I received for my wedding and am EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed. I am worried this company has scammed me and need help immediately.

I have tried to use two different prepaid cards with paypal, amazon, and jrcigars. I was previously able to make a purchase on each so I know the cards are activated. However, now they are not accepted when I try to enter the information on the payment screen for these merchants.

It is almost as if the card won't work if it has a partial balance? The amount I am attempting to spend is less than the balance remaining, so it should be fine.

Desired outcome: I expect cards to be accepted a valid payment with online merchants.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Myprepaidcenter mastercard

Hi there, I received a $50 prepaid Mastercard from BlueCross BlueShield and tried to use it several times in 2023 but each time it was declined. It expired on 10/23. I called customer service and was told that it would be reissued, but that there will be a $3+ fee for every month since it's been expired. Are you kidding me? So now I am getting a replacement card for just $14? This is absolutely unacceptable!

MyPrepaidCenter.com Digital prepaid mastercard

On the 5th of june I purchased a prepaid mastercard of €80. But it can't activate on myprepaidcenter. I can't use it on any site that accepts mastercard, and they don't let me contact their support services. The error I keep getting is 'sorry, we can't activate that card'. Up until this day I can't use it and it's extremely frustrating that my mails keep getting denied, and so do my phone calls.

I don't recommend purchasing from G2A. They didn't help me either. Tried calling, doesn't let me. Automatically declines. As far as I'm concerned, I got scammed out of my money. They don't help at ALL.

MyPrepaidCenter.com Prepaid cards through Awardco

My company recently incorporated Awardco as a way for employees to give each other points for different things. One point in Awardco is equivalent to $1 on a prepaid card, offering through My Prepaid Center (https://www.myprepaidcenter.com).

However, it has not taken long at all for issues to occur with these cards. Once I redeemed my Awardco points for a $112 prepaid card, I attempted to enter the card into my Amazon account. It came back with an error message. The card expired and I lost the $112.

I took out a second card for $121. Through Awardco, the process is to go to your orders and click the activation link. It gives you an activation code, which you then enter into a field on www.myprepaidcenter.com. This brings you to a page with a QR code which prompts you download a specific wallet app.

I did this and saw the card added in the app. This was in the morning. The app does not allow for screenshots, however, I had heard from my coworker that her card disappeared shortly after she had added it to the same app. So, I wrote down the details of the card. Sure enough, this evening I go to access the card in the wallet app and it has vanished. The code provided by the activation link will not work a second time. Having documented the card details, I went directly to the My Prepaid Center website and entered them. It told me the card does not exist. I created an account and looked under "My cards," but it is not there. I clicked "Add a card" and entered the details — it tells me the card does not exist. So I go to a separate wallet app and enter the card details there — it says the card does not exist. I go to an e-commerce site and try adding the card there — it tells me the same thing: the card does not exist.

I am convinced that this is a scam. I do not know where that money is going but it certainly is not useable by me. I will be notifying my company's HR, as I'm sure they are not aware of this.

I got a reward card with $50 value from a S&W rebate program. It got declined either as a credit card and debit card. I then reset the pin and tried twice, each time, got "incorrect pin" error. I am 100% sure I have the pin number right as I had written down the pin on the card with a marker. The MyPrepaidCenter.com website does not provide any helpful information and the phone number listed on the card reaches a voice recording on each and every menu choice and never a human representative. Even without being able to charge the card, the the card balance is down to zero and I am not able to find out who and how the money is stolen. A voice recording suggests I work with the merchant but the merchant says she cannot see anything beyond a "decline" message. I believe the merchant is right. The conclusion, this card belongs to a fraudulent business. Whoever read this message should stay away from it.

Desired outcome: restore the balance to the card and let me spend the balance.

My Prepaid Center: THIS IS FRAUD... whether you have been notified of a WIN in a consumer class action law suit settled by Kroll or any other pretend settlement entitiy. Once your contact info has been obtained from the prosecuting law firm and you are referred to My Prepaid Center for pretend access to you payment card (Visa, MasterCared, etc), you will never gain access to the account you register at their website.

Instead, you will begin a relentless cycle of obstructions like User Name not recognized, Password recognized, then replacement Password not recognized, then GO Back to your first email notification for the Activate link or Redeem link... but that's useless also. Some entity somewhere is hoarding a vast amount of settlement funds, which none of us will rightfully access in our own names known to circuit courts. And those circuit courts will never become aware of that nor our withheld settlements... withheld by 3rd parties known and unknown.

What you've experienced with MyPrepaidCenter.com is absolutely outrageous. You received a $50 reward card from a S&W rebate program, only to find it unusable. The fact that it gets declined and the pin reset process fails despite your best efforts is beyond frustrating. And then, to add insult to injury, you can't reach a human representative for help.

The website and phone support are completely unhelpful, and your balance mysteriously dropping to zero without any clear transactions is highly suspicious. This kind of experience reeks of fraudulent activity. You deserve better than this runaround. Make sure your story is heard and demand accountability. Stay strong, and keep fighting for your rights. MyPrepaidCenter.com Prepaid mastercard - 3ds not working - can't use card

REFUND is my only solution. I bought a new Prepaid MasterCard with $100 from Bitrefill.com.

I've tried to use it 5 times today and they are not allowing my transactions to go through. I contacted 2 of the vendors and they both tell me it's the card issue. It has 3DS ISSUES. I did not make a mistake on my info.

I can't use this card anywhere and want a refund. Here are some of the similar emails I received:

MyPrepaidCenter.com Unable to activate multiple cards & no customer support

I ordered five $5 gift cards through a website where I get rewards for online shopping. After the 2nd gift card claim code was activated, it wouldn't let me activate any more gift cards. When I try to access the website (whether on my phone, ipad, or desktop), it says "You have been blocked." and gave me a customer support phone number. The first 2 times I attempted to contact customer support, it "didn't recognize" the numbers I was keying in from the support menu. Believe it or not, the automated system actually has a separate selection for being blocked from the website (#4). It took three separate phone calls before I finally spoke with a customer support representative. Once I explaind the issue to her, she advised she was unable to unlock my account and to wait 24 hours. I asked her if my account would be re-locked when I tried activating more than one gift card at a time, and all she could say was that it was possible, and not to try activating them at the same time. Activate 1, then wait a few hours. This is ridiculous.

Claimed loss: $25 visa card balance from rewards

Desired outcome: I would like my account on "MyPrepaidCenter" to be unlocked so that I can get my cards I am owed.

I somehow managed to create 2 accounts on Honey.com. I contacted customer support via the chat option on the website and within minutes they were able to find both accounts and merge them together for me effortlessly! I have had this happen before on other sites, and trying to get them merged or even one deleted was a major hassle. Honey's customer support team was on it! Thank you! :)

MyPrepaidCenter.com Rebate mastercard

Received a digital prepaid mastercard in the amount of $50 as a rebate. I tried using the card when I first received it and it declined. I have since lost the CVV # and cannot use the card.

Website instructions say to sign in to retrieve the information but the card does not show as registered, and it won't let me register without the CVV which I don't have.

Customer service is a joke as it repeats the same messages 3 or 4 times, and then disconnects me.

There is no direct contact information available for this company.

No matter what I try, I only get 3 dots to view and cant use my 39 USD. I am in Cambodia, which is not on the banned countries list. I tried with, without VPN, different countries and so on. All browsers that I know but always the same.

I received a card with 200 dollars available. I went online activated and registered it. I have tried to used it repeatedly, it is declined EVERY time. Card will not work. Tried using the merchants listed (which is the weird that it’s a Mastercard, but not accepted everywhere Mastercard is accepted). The card actually does not work. I tried calling customer service, naturally it is all automated. No live agent. I plan to file complaints with the BBB, write bad reviews at all possible sites and spend as much of my time making others aware of these horrible business practices as I have spent trying to get this card to work. I would love to start/join a class action, MyPrepaidCenter is absolutely horrible.

Desired outcome: Outcome desired: for the card to work & 150 dollars for the time attempting to get the card to work (18.75 hr). I do not work for free and companies like this seem to believe my time is worth nothing.
