On 14/02/2024 at 11:42 SAST I placed an order with NetFlorist for a bunch of flowers for same day delivery, before the cut off time. The flowers were not delivered and received an email at 17:02 to say they would no longer be delivered on the same day. The email stipulated that they would be delivered with priority on 15/02/2024. At this point I reached out to customer service to complain about this, and all they offered me was a R89.95 voucher for the inconvenience/false advertising. Bearing in mind this was a R650 bunch of flowers and a R117 delivery fee. The gesture voucher would not have even been enough to cover the delivery cost. At 21:00 15/02/2024 my partner notified me that the flowers had been delivered (evidently not “with priority”), however she had also been given the wrong flowers and totally wrong card. At this point I reached out to customer service once again officially requesting a full refund. They notified me that they could only offer a 50% refund and that in order to get a full refund they would need to collect the incorrectly delivered item. I told them to arrange to collect the item, and they said they would arrange to collect it on 17/02/2024. When asked to specify the time that they would collect, they said they cannot specify a time and that it would be anywhere between 7am-4pm. Additionally, on 16/02/2024 at 08:42 NetFlorist notified that the successful delivery had been made and that it had been signed for by my partner (this was obviously not true and either NetFlorist fabricated a signature or simply didn’t bother asking who they were delivering the flowers to). The service received has been beyond shocking and I cannot tell anyone strongly enough to avoid NetFlorist at all costs.
