Newegg order not received

Ordered $650 dollars worth of computer equipment from newegg business, says it was delivered, never received anything.
Filed a claim on 6/14, says it will take 7- 10 business days. 11th business day goes by, no response, no update, nothing. Contact customer support and they tell me theyre waiting on a police report because its over $500 dollars before they can do anything. Do they want me to lie to the police? I don't even know if it was stolen or not. The only thing I do know is I ordered something and i didnt get it. If this is how they treat business customers, I would hate to see how they treat regular customers. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Newegg computer psu

Dear newegg, seasonic, USA consumer protection (need online submitted), and BBB,

I refer to your email below regarding the Seasonic PSU problem and wish who can help me to judge and resolve the problem. On this year black Friday, I bought 2x Seasonic FOCUS Plus Series SSR-850FX 850W 80+ Gold x PSU power with serial number: R1709AA181320109 / R1709AA181320701 at Newegg web site, (date 11/21/2017, ). Sold and Shipped by Newegg Order #406658692 Total: $179.98 Tracking #: 405962112344 by FEDEX.

Who are no luck like me, for these two PSU had been installation on a regular Pc systems with intel 7700K. CPU and Intel I3 systems. Unfortunately、both PSU and my computers are broken down suddenly on 19 Dec and 20 Dec respectively. My 750 SSD hdd was undetectable. Three of my display cards and motherboards aren't running. I am still testing another part of my hardware which I can't tell you results yet. I google it and I promised all of cables Were installed with original pack from Seasonic but it was not the worst situation.

Because my power bar fuse was burn. Then I plug off all the cable、I wonder that what if heavy loading was caused the whole system disaster. Then I take the PSU to another place to test what I just plug the single power cable with PSU onto wall electronic socket and press power on button. What you guess my home fuse was shut down due to heavy loading? And the wall electric socket fuse burns again. Are you selling seasonic PSU BOMB?It is unbelievable product in the pc parts market what someone rated it 5 stars PSU.

I wish I could have satisfied answer from seasonic. I will not send to RMA this moment.

For the fair. I would suggest sending it to USA consumer protection to let them test and judge it.

To staff members of seasonic who are further tel conversation with me. I know that I can't prove it anymore because I didn't want to see the firework again, and it sound like is not logic but it is true. I am according your recommendation to use high quality of power bar, socket etc. I am believed you that but the power wires from my home are following with UK standard. I am not a electric engineer, or the specialist, and I am afraid to make further destroy anymore, any else.

To newegg, should I delivery both PSU bomb to your engineer to check? I would recommend that to take care of your measure instrument or equipment. And how do you or any one should take a responsibility from my hardware damage as I mentioned above.

Hi Nicholas ( Newegg Support),

The both PSU(s) are deflect, and dangerous significantly.

I had testing it from different places, what i just plugged the single PSU power cable and power on the PSU power. then i promised that the each PSU power cable's fuse has been burned or meltdown.

I am not USA citizen and it is hard to take legal actions or seeking lawyer for help while I spent half the year for this conflicted. From my living place Hong Kong, it is easy enough to take applicable action in case of this issued.

From the manufacturer SEASONIC, they aren't reply me or calling me to discuss.

Recently, i report the incident to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and hope they can help me.

Newegg returning a defective item newegg marketplace order #[protected]

I ordered the item and was charged $137.79 for the item plus tax. I also purchased the Square Trade Protection plan for 3 years for $12.99. I received the item and tried to put it into service. There were several performance items that I tried to get fixed through email with the seller to no avail.

I then decided to return the item and started the return through Newegg's customer service. I received two RMA numbers and a shipping label. I also received an update to the return with a restocking charge of $19.50 bringing my refund amount down to $110.49. (A restocking fee on a defective item?)

I have decided to dispose of the item myself so I would like Newegg to (1) take the RMA (2) take the Square Trade Protection Plan (3) take my customer account and put them in the closest trash can as I will never purchase anything from this company again!

Newegg customer service supervisor nicole e. - very unprofessional

I have been searching for several days for an affordable setup for a new computer through various sites and came upon Newegg for its competitive pricing for a Cyberpowerpc. After finally determined to purchase from Newegg, I saw they promoted a financing payment plan through a financial institution Synchrony Financial. I clicked on the link from the Newegg site, filled out the info, and was required to call for authorization. Keep in mind that I thought I was speaking with a Newegg representative, so at the end of the authorization I asked if I could finalize the purchase and the rep told me to call Newegg with the application number. Confused, I called Newegg customer service (took an hour for a callback) and spoke to a representative and was told that they could do nothing on their end and to call Synchrony back.

After much back and forth and each call back from Newegg taking about an hour, I asked to speak to the Newegg Customer Service Supervisor. As soon as she answered, she sounded completely detached from the situation - speaking quickly and monotone as if reading from a script. The subsequent conversation did not go well. With every question, she regurgitated the same company policy over and over in a low monotone voice with no attempt to ease my frustration. She cut my questions/statements off at every chance, attempting to counter each notion. When attempting to use the word "financial institution" in regards to Synchrony, she butt-in before I could finish, stating that she knew of no financial institutions that I spoke of. When asked if there was anything at all she could do, she gave me an example stating that I could not ask for a receipt for Target from Wallmart. While this vague example is true in theory, it does not fully apply to this specific situation and further shows how deeply she separates herself from it.

All I wanted was to continue being a customer and make a purchase from Newegg with an authorized credit line from an apparent partnered company, but I was met with complete disregard for customer satisfaction and detachment from the entire process.

At the end of this ordeal, the credit card will be delivered to my residence in 5-7 business days, and the computer that I wanted to purchase is now Out of Stock. While there very well could have been nothing she could do, this exchange with the Customer Service Supervisor Nicole E. (she stated that she was not obligated to give me her last name) has left a very negative image of Newegg customer service in my mind.

Newegg doa asrock motherboard rma #[protected]

I order $828.80 worth of equipment from you for 2 gaming PC's for Christmas presents for my Sons the above mentioned mother board would not power the 12V side had a Mail in rebate that had to be sent in before testing and you are denying the return due to not having the UPC on the box this is a BS excuse to rip off your customers nice way to lose a customer thanks

Newegg customer service

This was a review I left for mygoods who sold me the "hot wheels monster jam truck" it explains mostly what happend...

I ordered this item dec 11th, when I ordered I put in a new shipping address to have it sent to. Once I got the email stating the order I noticed that newegg had defaulted to my previous shipping address. I thought no big deal i'll contact the seller. I emailed them to change the address... No response for 3 days.. Finally said they couldnt find the order I was referring to and to email them the order # again. I did and also decided to contact neweggs customer service. The rep assured me they would contact the seller and fix the address change and I would have the item before xmas, I would receive an email confirming.. Happy I left it alone... A few days later no email or anything saying they had fixed anything. I called them to be told by a rep they had no "higher ups" working on the weekend. So I waited a couple days and contacted them again on monday... During this time I also got an email from ym goods stating they had updated the shipping address and all was good... I didnt believe them (And good thing I didnt). I called newegg customer service and they redircted me to contact fedex... I asked the rep what would happen if the item still got shipped to the wrong address.. He said "well there isnt anything we can do, you can hope the person at the address rejects the order and it gets sent back and you get a refund"... So I talked to fedex who said they hadnt even gotten the item yet (Mind you it had been over a week already and the shipemnt states that shipping take 5-7 days on neweggs/mygoods page) so I tried to call my goods 5 times.. No answer. I emailed them again... Finally heard from them today saying "the item must have gotten lost, they would send me the item again but they couldnt, so instead they would refund me (Bank hasnt been refunded yet) and that if the shipment is found and sent to my address to contact them to pay for the item again... I contacted fedex again and asked if the orders address had been updated (Per my goods stating it had) in case they find the item. They said it had not and to contact the seller... I have contacted my goods again and stated to have the update the address, like ive asked several times...in case the shipment is found... Ive left a bit of the contacting out but overall ive emailed my goods 8 times, called 5, contacted neweggs customer service 3, and called fedex 2 times... I needed this for my son for xmas and I bascially get a supposive refund and a"sorry youre [censor] out of luck"... I am irrate!

Newegg bad customer services and company wants to rip off people with no care at all

I bout the product MSI Agies at the beginning of October everything was running smoothly. the computer crashed and would not display MSI screen and would not boot windows. contacted Neweeg about returning the product and getting a replacement or my money back. however because I don't have the box it was originally shipped in they will not allow for a return. I've spent over 1110 dollars for the product though it covered under warranty Neweeg will not accept a return because I don't have the box. discarded the box out of confidence of the. company delivering great products and being stuck and penalized for not having a cardboard box. so I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work and out of 1100 dollars all because of a a missing box. Do not buy anything from Neweeg all the care about is taking your money and not providing customer service and doing the right thing. In addition I spoke with many advisors and supervisors and they don't seem to care about the customer, not realizing the customers are the ones that supply thier jobs and keep the business going. I have asked on many attempts to have resolved and they don't seem to care over a box. don't buy anything from Neweeg all they care about is your money nothing else.

Newegg Stay away

They rarely deliver on time, so be careful before ordering. Don't order anything that you urgently need. Moreover, ordering from them takes a long time and not many people are so patient. For example, to confirm the order they called me several times and I also had to click the link in my email. Messy process. And even if you pay for an expedited shipping it doesn't mean absolutely anything because it doesn't guarantee you will get it when you want.
Unreliable service that you should stay away from.

Newegg Bad staff

Please, Newegg, hire other employees. Those you have now are terrible.
Do you have trainings for employees regarding customers' treatment?
Most of them are rude and ignorant, talking to them is like hell, seems like they do an unbelievable favor when talking to you (me) and answering your (my) stupid questions.
Drive them all away and get normal polite people.

Newegg maxpedition wolfspur bag

I bought a bag from Newegg, they got it sent out by you, you sent me a Velspar, a lesser expensive bag, and in the wrong color. I paid for a Wulfspur in gray. I have called Newegg, and they sent you an email requesting a refund, or a next day shipping of the correct bag. I have also contacted Maxpedition customer service, since I have spent hours trying to resolve this.

Newegg lost package never received - not taken care of

Taken from Newegg claim #339625

Order a graphics card for $570 on their website approximately the third week of July. I kept track of the delivery status, and package was labeled as "delivered" a few days later and was not there. Notified Newegg immediately that day when I came home from work. Claim was generated, I was told the process would be 7-10 business days to get finalized. Longer than I anticipated, but so be it. I understand processes need to be followed in certain situations.

The carrier contacted me a few days later, asked some questions(which I answered truthfully)and that was that. I contacted Newegg a couple of days later since I had not received any emails/correspondence from them. They said they were waiting for information from the carrier, would still be a couple of days. I have contacted them 2-3 times per weeks since, and every time I am told "still waiting for carrier". They also requested a police report be filed for the lost package.

Now, I understand you want to cover the bases here, but the package was not stolen. It was lost in transit. There is a difference here. I did ask neighbors if they had seen anything just in case, and no one had. I had a package go missing with Amazon once, and it was not nearly the hassle this has been. They did not require anything additional than what I provided to Newegg, and it was taken care of in days. Not weeks. I also feel like my local police force has better things to do than worry about a package a third party carrier lost. Maybe that's just me.

Anyway, 8/13 is here and I received an email saying they still are waiting for information from the carrier and still want a police report despite being told and knowing the package was not stolen. As a consumer this is highly unacceptable. I spent a lot of money for something I needed and did not get it, and no one has taken care of it. I feel like I am being accused of some wrongdoing by being put through weeks of waiting for something that may never happen. I will admit to some fault here, I should have done more research on having signatures for packages I guess. I thought a signature would be required on this item, I was wrong. The last time I bought anything from them was my last computer build in 2012, and I did not have any issues at all there. In fact, all my packages back then did have a signature requirement and I never requested one. Maybe the policy changed, I have no idea.

Anyway, I will be sticking with Amazon Prime from now on since the service is outstanding and I will gladly pay more for said service. Paying less for aggravation is not something I enjoy. It's too bad, I really like Newegg. They have great prices, but if this is indicative of their service level then I will gladly move on.

I hope no one else has had this issue, it is not fun to have that kind of money tied up into something for so long with no resolution.

Newegg high level rudeness!

The worst about Newegg is their customer service, these people are terrible and extremely rude. I will not use Newegg is the future only because of their service, I hate being treated like garbage. I was their customer but received nothing but rudeness and disrespect. They refused to help with my issued and one of their nasty employees even said that I was interrupting their work with my calls. I hope they'll lose all of their customers.
How dare they talk like that? Where do they find these terrible people and why are they hiring them?
Supports are company representatives and Newegg rep clearly showed that they don't need my business.
Avoid this site, and don't even try buying from them!

Newegg msi laptop

I purchased a computer from Newegg in December 2016. I also purchased an extended/accidental warranty from them for $175.

The computer stopped working in March, 2017. I contacted Newegg and the service rep, Martina L, said:

“The Newegg return period for this item is 30 days from the original invoice date. I apologize, this item is passed the return period. You can take advantage of your end user warranty by contacting the manufacturer for a replacement. Their phone number is [protected]. If they refuse to help you, please contact us back with reference number or case number from manufacturer.
 
I apologize; we cannot accept this return. If we did it would be a complete loss to our company. We recommend taking advantage of your end user warranty with the product manufacturer. I am certain they will take good care of you and if you do run into any trouble, just let us know. This is also for your reference: http://us.msi.com/service/SupportIndex/ & http://us.msi.com/“

I contacted MSI. They tried to diagnose the problem over the phone but they were not able to do this. They said I needed to ship the item back to them and gave me RMA NRW17011681. They also advised me that I would be responsible for any damages incurred during shipping.

I took the item to the UPS store and shipped it back to MSI. It cost me $120 because of the insurance. I opted for the insurance because I would be responsible for any damages during shipping.

MSI received the laptop, inspected it, and Grace Liao said that it would cost $320 to fix the problem. They said the problem was:

“The LCD has internal cracks that caused it to leak inside. This is not functional failures. These type of damages is when excess pressure was applied on screen itself. That is what we mean by it was induced damages.”

There would have been no way for me to know whether these damages would have been a manufacturers defect or accidental damage.

I called Newegg (like Martina said in the first email) and spoke to Ramon L DeLuna. I spoke with him for about 30 minutes. He said they would take care of the issue and he would contact me again later that week.

I was never contacted, so I called Newegg back the following weekend.

This time, they said there was nothing they could do to remedy the issue. But they did offer to refund me the shipping cost to MSI which was $120. They said that this is more than any other retailer would have done. I disagreed and said other retailers I’ve purchased from (Dell, Apple, BestBuy, Amazon, etc) would have replaced the item by now.

I contacted the extended warranty company online. According to the FAQ online, there's supposed to be a button next to my warranty that lets me start a claim. There is no such button. I had to call them on the phone. They said they would ship a box to me and that I had to ship the computer back to them.

I've told MSI that I need them to ship the computer back to me. I’m now waiting on MSI to get back to me with the next steps.

This has been over a month and my son does not have his computer.

I also filled out an online review on Newegg.com. They would not post it on their website because the review had to do with Newegg customer service. They said they only post reviews about the items they sell. I feel this is very deceptive.

Newegg rma fraud

Purchased a Samsung M.2 SSD from Newegg.com. No matter what I did, the performance of the drive was terrible. So I requested an RMA and was approved.

I packaged the drive back in the original retail packaging and returned to Newegg with their shipping label.

A week later I am contacted and told that they are sorry but that I returned an empty box so they cannot refund me.

Now I have no drive and am out $330.

They tell me that "there is no evidence of tampering or theft" however the box was opened, so I am not sure what sort of evidence there would be...

Now, looking around online, I see a lot of people with this complaint. It seems that Newegg is engaging in fraud.

Newegg monitor return

I purchased a monitor and paid Newegg.com directly (no third party). The monitor was defective. I received authorization from Newegg to return it for a full refund, no restocking fee. They sent me a FedEx label (their address for returns). I returned the monitor within 30 days of purchase.
Newegg does not dispute that the monitor is defective.
They refused to refund my $ because they argue (suddenly) that the real seller is Laptops4less and Newegg is just a platform. And the reason for the rejected return? The box was missing a UPC label. How in the world is the customer responsible for what FedEx does to boxes? Newegg insisted I use the original box for the return and I did so.
And the cheery on the top of this fraud is that Newegg has attempted to return the defective monitor to me to dispose of. You have to pay to recycle stuff like this. Are they serious?

Newegg defective video card

I was repairing my computer and bought some components from Newegg website. Everything arrived in a timely manner and I had no problems with delivery.
When I finished the repair job my computer wasn't working. I could not understand what was going on because I thought I did everything right. Anyways, since I could not figure out myself I called an IT specialist who arrived to my place to help me with my computer. He said that video card was broken and that's why it did not work. I contacted Newegg the same day and demanded a full refund and told them that I wanted to return everything but they did not reply. These people are terrible and they are not to be trusted, they sold me a defective product!

Newegg parts hold on lenovo thinkpad

Hi, I bought my Lenovo think pad off of Newegg.com back in August, and it came with a 1 year warranty. 4 weeks ago the screen had temporary stopped working. So I ran a diagnostics test on it failed. I sent it in to be fixed. It has been 3 weeks now since then and has still been waiting on a parts hold. I am a college student, and I have been barely making ends meat without a computer. I was initially told it would take 5-10 business days. But it has already been past that, and I am predicting it to be even longer. Is there anything that could be done for me? I truly can not wait without a computer much longer, and I do not want to have to spend money to rent one out.

Newegg Extremely late and I feel cheated

I ordered a mouse pad from this company through Newegg.com on 11/28/16 and received it 1/20/17. Newegg's customer service was great, but I bought the item from Onlytek so they were the only ones to talk to about a refund or return. Their customer service was awful!

I bought the item for an Xmas present, but could not find the tracking information as USPS said my tracking number was invalid. When I contacted them around 12/23, I asked for a refund because it seemed the item was lost because it was late and I couldn't track it. Somehow, they were able to make my tracking number work and it said the package was processed through a facility in China on 12/14. They asked me to please wait a little longer because it could have been delayed by the weather. When I bought the item, the estimate said it should have come a week before Xmas, but I was nice and said that I would wait a little longer.

I was patient, and on 1/15 there had been no change in the tracking info and I finally contacted them again requesting a refund. I decided to order a similar item off Amazon and it would take a week or so, but at least I knew it was coming. Two days later, they respond with updated tracking info saying the package was finally State-side and could not be called back. They refused to refund me because the item would deliver. I said ok, but please at least refund these shipping fees as the wait has been beyond ridiculous. No response. I was so upset because they asked me to wait the first time I asked for a refund, when it was still in China according to the tracking information. I just felt like I had been too nice and should have demanded my money back then. They probably would have refused anyway.

Anyway, I get the item and the really cool image that I had bought the mouse pad for had been cut off a lot on the sides! Yes I get you have to fit it to the shape but it would not have been hard to do it better, it was just a careless job. I contacted Newegg about a return and complained about Onlytek's service, and they were very sympathetic and tried their best to fix it, but ultimately the return policy was up to Onlytek, who wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee and return shipping! OMG I am so angry about it. Anyway, I am just done with this mouse pad and after this complaint I'm just gonna let it go and try to find a home for this thing I don't want (because I already ordered a different one off Amazon to give my sis). I just had to vent and I really hate this freaking company and want them to go bankrupt.

In conclusion, didn't get the item until 2 months after ordering, a month and half after the advertised delivery date. Their customer service were butts about cancelling the item and refunding me, and even worse about returns. They can burn in hell.

Only after purchase rebate limit info.
CORSAIR refused to offer more than 1 $20 rebate on 2 bought.
Newegg refused RMA.
Newegg customer support only deleted my bad review.
