false claims serial numbers are missing to avoid refunds
Newegg.com is lying saying that serial numbers are removed from products in order to avoid refunding money on defective products.
I recently purchased a video card that was doa. I installed it soon realized it was dead. The same day I packed it back up and returned it to newegg.com
They drug their feet, and finally after much pushing they said they would not refund me anything because I had removed serial numbers.
This was a lie. I removed nothing. Everything was intact exactly the way they sent it to me.
I started searching google for "newegg scam" and found hundreds of other customers they did this very same thing to!
Warning! I would not buy anything at newegg unless you never intend on returning it even if it's broken on arrival.
I have been a customer of newegg.com for over 13 years and I was lied to, accused of something I did not do, and treated like garbage.
Be warned! Avoid newegg! You will not get your money back if you return a defective product. And if you do, it will take months of head aches, phone calls, emails, and long wait times.
Someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against newegg.com for their shady, and dishonest business practices.
I'm currently working on a documentary supported by crowd funding, exposing newegg from the inside and their dishonest business. Everyone I can find who have been denied a refund under false accusations from newegg is being interviewed.
This will get out! They will pay for dishonesty.

samsung s health activity tracker promotion
On 2/26/2016, I submitted all of the rebate information (all required documents, rebate form, UPC, etc. ) to Newegg for a $25 rebate for the Samsung Activity Tracker. By the way, I am 60 years old, and have submitted a lot of rebates. I know, and always do, make a copy of everything I send.
I received a response back on 3/21/2016 indicating my rebate submission was received and being processed. I never heard anything from Newegg.com after this.
I contacted Newegg around 5/2/2016 about the status of my rebate, and was informed that they did not have the UPC code. I told them that was impossible, I knew it was included (stapled on the paperwork). I had to scan my copy of the code and send it to them, and they confirmed it was received.
I called again today, 5/31/2016 to determine why I still don't have my $25 rebate, and now am told to wait till 7/4/2016, and call if I don't receive it by then.
This is absolutely the worst customer service and rebate program. I purchased this item in February, and have to wait till July for my rebate?

I have purchased a MacBook from www.newegg.com and received the wrong model. Immediately contacted customer service and told them that I want to send the wrong one back and get an exchange. I told them that I never opened the box and they agreed to give me a replacement. So I sent it back and later was contacted by someone from Newegg and was told that the box was opened so they could not give me an exchange. What a scam! Then they sent it back to me and refused to refund the price difference. Terrible service!

seems like a scam
Ordered a gadget from Newegg and the one I received was defective so I decided to return it and they said that I have to send the defective item back and promised me a refund. I did as they said and sent it back and they keep telling me that they did not receive anything yet. That is strange because I was already contacted by the shipping company and they said that package was successfully delivered and received. Newegg are quite nice, they always reply to my messages, but it seems like they are trying to scam me and just pretend to be nice.

refurbished macbook pro
Bought refurbished pro in march 2015. First one did not work and was sent back. Second one worked, unreliably, for three months then completly crashed.in october 2015, I contacted newegg and asked for a refund or an credit over the phone, they told me no. They told me I would now have to deal with vt services, their warranty company. From october 2015 until march 2016 I have sent the computer to vt services, three times, never getting a computer that worked. These computers, are old, very dirty internally with lots of dust bunnies inside, and old electrical tape on fraying wires inside. They also do no support any apple os, that apple currently supports. So you have no protection, no safari or anything else apple. Vt will not do anymore for me. They told me to contact newegg, telling them the macbook, they sold me is too old to support any apple os, that is current. I called newegg today and again im told no refund or credit.

rebate never received
I purchased a monitor from Newegg and submitted the rebate in October 2015. The tracking site listed a date that came and went (Feb 7th) without a rebate arriving. After contacting Newegg I was told that they would resubmit my rebate request, and IF it was accepted they would mail me another one in 6 weeks. When asked if the process could be sped up since 6 more weeks seemed excessive, I was told that it was automated and no one could help me beyond submitting the request again. I have very little confidence that in 6 weeks I will have my rebate since the process seems to be FRAUDULENT. This isn't the first time being burned by a newegg rebate, but it will be the last.

I bought product with mail in rebate. After mailing all required documents there is no sign of rebate coming through. When I enquire customer service they only redirect to same page in their website from where I registered and took document printout to mail them. In spite of repeated contact their response is pathetic and im running out of time to get the rebate money. I was very reluctant to buy in this site and my concerns proved correct.

ordered computer monitor, received computer case
Ordered a computer monitor for 110 and some change from newegg.com received a computer case instead.
They will not ship me my monitor without first providing my credit card information again *just in case another mistake happens* so they can charge my account for their ungodly screw up.
How you mistake a 22" lg monitor box with a brown diy pc box is beyond me.
Customer service gabriel m. And his subordinates kept giving me run around, wanting me to place my credit card information on file, so I would be charged the cost of the computer case if they did not get it back, and they would not give me the monitor I ordered back.
Ashley m. = the lady who is supposed to contact me regarding this issue needs to fix this. I do not think they know they laws regarding unsolicited merchandise and fraud.
Furthermore, they state that it is their policy for shipping mistakes for you to provide a credit card number for expedited shipping, or wait until they receive the merchandise you did not order back.
They try to strong arm you into playing into this trick, do not bend!
I look forward to talking with ashley m., the corporate office, and visa fraud dispute if they can't fix it.

worst online shopping experience!
I ordered something from Newegg website three weeks ago. The seller was actually a private one but I had no idea about that. Well, I never received my order so I tried to contact the seller by phone, but the phone number was invalid. Then I sent him several messages, but never got a reply. I had no other choice so I asked Newegg customer support for help. They were absolutely useless and did not know what to do but sending the seller emails. What kind of customer service is that? They cannot even refund me, because they have to contact the seller first. The worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

dangerous scam!
Never order anything from these thieves. I purchased some goods and paid huge amount of money! I ordered three items for over $2000 and when my order finally arrived two items were damaged. I don't know who's fault that was, I actually don't care, but I paid big money! I contacted Newegg customer care and demanded my money back, but they would not refund me. They said that there will be no returns, because they couldn't resell it anyway! Why should I care? It is not my problem! I was their customer and they took my money, so I expected to get what I paid for! Never order from Newegg. This company is absolutely unethical.

On Black Friday 2015 we ordered $1, 100.00 in computer parts to build a new system for our son in college. They shipped via UPS who in left this package on our front porch and no one home. The package was stolen. We contacted Newegg and they contacted UPS to do an investigation, which 3 days before xmas was still not resolved. I got very impatient and tried to get this resolved so to have the gift for x-mas, One of their customer service members talked me into doing a whole new order (which I paid an additional $1, 100.00 for; they in turn paid for 2 day shipping to have this under the xmas tree). They told me that once UPS would complete their investigation, they will refund the money. Too bad it was NOT THAT EASY.
The Newegg person then sent this shipment to a totally different address even AFTER they confirmed my mailing address. I managed to get that money refunded, but the initial shipment made in Nov. they were dragging their heals.
Needless to say our son never got his x-mas gift. It is now Feb and this issue still has not been resolved. They refuse to send new parts or refund our money because according to UPS they "delivered the package to the correct address, and therefore will not cover the cost."
Newegg then decided not to refund my money nor ship out the computer parts, They claimed that the 2nd shipment they made and refunded cuz they shipped to wrong address was the refund, and therefore the issue was resolved. They were not even considering the fact of the initial shipment from Nov. They seem to think that initial $1100. was a present to them I guess.
Now Newegg claims after 2 months that they want to see a Police report. Sure why not report something stolen 2 months after the fact. After forwarding this police report, and now DEMANDING money refunded, I am still waiting for their reply. I went to the bank to dispute charges as well to get my money returned.
I don't care if I have to pay 4 times as much for computer parts by shopping somewhere else; I will NEVER buy anything from Newegg again. After this great experience they can kiss my ###! SHOP AT TIGER DIRECT instead. Never had issues with Tiger Direct.

By far this company has the worst customer service, and support staff I have ever encountered. False advertisement, shipping issues, customer service phone wait time extremely to long, return policy and rebate system a complete mess. In the future, I will not be purchasing anything from this company, and would rather pay the extra money to take my business elsewhere.

I Ordered a set of IP cameras with no hard drive which was sold separate. Received cameras with a defective ac adapter not suitable for U.S. Applications and instructions that are absolutely useless. The 500 GB hard drive has never arrived. After going through their Customer service, nothing has been resolved, I am now getting excuses and the run around from the third world China manufacturer, the third worldTom Top middle man and now Newegg. Its a huge circle of passing the buck. My first clue should have been the fact they collect no sales tax, so far one department wants to refer the issue all over the globe, the other department wants to differ the matter to other departments and the only response I have really received is that they are very busy and my issue may not get resolved in a timely manner. I will probably need to resolve this matter through the Master Card protection department. They are a third world ghost company, operating illegally, out of the state of California, Beware of doing business with them.

Almost $2, 000 charged to my credit card that I used one month ago (October '15) at newegg and to office depot. I believe the thief works at newegg and got all the info from my card and used it or sold it to someone. There is no fraud protection at newegg so I would not deal with them. The card was only a few days old when we used it and it was only used once at newegg.

I never got the rebate for below item. Newegg Coboc iSyncLT8-4-WH White 4inches/10cm Apple MFi Certified 8-Pin lightning to USB cable - Charge and Promotion #62092 Tracking ID#[protected] On June 17th 2015 my rebate submission was completed and according to confirmation email I got I should have got the rebate by Sep 6. But neither I recieved the rebate nor any communication until 24 Sep. And when I contacted customer care number Provided in tracking link below I was told that there is no information of UPC code into system and they could not help me any further on this. But I had sent the completed rebate form with UPC bar code. And there is no way it can be missed in between. And my only mistake was that I did not keep all the documentation saved at my end. And how could anyone save the documents for so long. Now the only response from customer care they cannot help without UPC bar code information.

delivery, a horror story
zoomdelivered or boardparadise or whatever their name will be next week did not ship for 7 days even though I had selected 2 day shipping. They only provided a partial order for delivery and not with the tracking information they gave. The order also contained incompatible and incorrect items for my order. Newegg dragged their feed after initial contact of the vendor for a refund. So after getting part of the order delivered I contacted newegg about a refund on the items not shipped as well as the incorrect items sent. I am now going to have to ship the incorrect item back with a 10% restocking fee, shipping paid by myself of course and wait yet another 3 to 5 days for a refund. The marketplace is full of scammers just waiting to take advantage of you and neweggs lax policies on refunds and returns. Avoid at all cost

billing verification
Their billing verification is terrible, I've had numerous orders voided because they could not verify my payment information. I tried 4 different credit cards and failed their billing verification. Spent hours on the phone with sales and supervisor to push through a manual purchase but that one failed twice as well. We checked every little detail, address, phone number and everything matches. Not worth my time anymore.

return process
Do not discard the original box and packing materials of anything you purchase from newegg. You will not be able to return an item - - even if it arrived doa - - without the stupid box. So keep your box for as long as the warranty with newegg is valid. Use it as a laundry basket, a pet bed, an end table - - whatever you have to do - - because they barely will speak to you once you no longer have all the original packing materials. If you're willing to pay a 25 percent stocking fee (That's $75 in my case) they might, just might, be understanding enough to allow you to return the piece of junk for a partial refund.
Buyer beware - - there are too many other good companies to buy from that are fair in their return policies to get tangled up in newegg's gestapo - style return process.

will not honor rebate
I bought an Asus T100 that came with a 50$ rebate. My mom and her husband needed a computer/tablet so she asked me to buy one for them as well. Since they are old and not very computer savvy, they asked that I submit their rebate and they will pay me the difference.
So both rebate were to be sent to my address, but I only get one rebate. Newegg did not honor their second rebate stating that the rebate is being sent to the same address. Are you kidding me! The computers were sent to different addresses (Connecticut and one to Florida). So I told them to send to my parent then and they refuse. We know that Newegg just want to take advantage of their customers. Please don't let Newegg take advantage of you like they did my parent.
