lunch
Hi. I had lunch around 230 today with my family. The experience was less than great. Our server was awesome and attentive, which was the only good thing about it. My sirloin was over seasoned and undercooked. The baked potato was obviously old. I only mentioned the potato to our server, which she happily replaced. The pasta my nephew had was a huge let down as well. He found 4 shrimp and a small chicken breast, but lots of pasta. The flavors weren't not the usual. This was my Mom's first experience, and I am sure the last. $50 for 1 sirloin steak, pasta, 1 soda and 2 waters . I basically blew 3 hours of pay to take my family to lunch. Thank you.
workers
Jill the bartender is stealing liquor and money every time she works or bartend. She stole a stack of free bloomin onion cards out the office. Alyssa, one of the FOH managers there, smokes weed while on the job in the office. Alyssa and Carly drinks on the job. Jill also snorts coke in the restroom. Im reporting these females because i am an former worker at this store & all three of these females are bullies. I will like to remain anonymous, but i really really hope some takes action immediately. Thank you.
Service and Food
Last night my husband and I went to eat at Commerce, GA Outback . We had not been there in over a year due to the service and food so we thought we'd give them another try . I ordered potato soup and he ordered the GB combo. The waitress told him to try it and if he didn't like it, that she would bring him something else. When we received our food, the lobster tail stuffed shrimp was very runny and the salmon patty was like mush. The cook proceeded to tell us that that not how the products should be cooked but offered no other options to order anything else. We had also asked for bread but our waitress was to busy with the guy at the bar and the table of 4 men above our table. I ran out of tea and never received anymore until I had completed my soup . This food he ordered was 25.99 and they did comp half of it but I don't feel this was enough whenever the cook stated it wasn't properly cooked and you get bad service plus the fact you leave hungry because you couldn't eat what you had .
general corporate decisions
We are enjoying our last meal at Outback Stakehouse. We travel around the country and have enjoyed most of the restaurants we have visited. Tonight we are in Santa Fe, NM.
When ordering a margarita tonight we were informed that Outback has jumped on the band wagon to save the earth by eliminating straws.
Of all things to become politically correct about. It's a shame that corporates has to take a left wing addenda and not just worry about running their business as a business.
I suspect you haven't heard a lot of complaints from customers about this at least not as of yet but check with your marketing department. I can bet you for each complaint you here there are thousands that just don't open their mouth.
If you really want to know what your customers think, ask them. But not in California or New York and see what people really think.
We will be happy to return as customers if we here that you changed your mind. Until then, thanks for the hospitality.

Wow. Over a straw. Seriously? Besides, who drinks their Margarita with a straw? They salt the rim for a reason, and it isn't to look pretty. Yeah those pesky left wingers and their agenda to save the earth. What losers.

food, service, management
On July 25th 2018 made reservations for 16 people Albuquerque restaurant, off of Jefferson. Resverations for 6:30. Party arrives at 6:15. We are told they don't have a table big enough to accomodiate all of us an we be split up. We say no. She returns and says we now have a table we go to be seated and the table is way to small we would be crammed in and blocking walk ways. Luckily there is a booth & small table available near by. We take them. We wait 20 minutes to be waited on. Business is slow. Another 20 minutes for drinks another 20 minutes for salads. At 8:05 the big table is finally served. Food is cold and under cooked. Some send food back and some food was never received. They are almost done eating I go speak to a manager. Ask her what's taking so long for the small table which has 3 and our booth which has 4 to be served. I also ask why didn't they tell me when I made resverations that they could not seat my party all together. She gives no explanations just says I'll give you a discount and go check on your food. We finally receive most of our parties food at 830pm. We have been here 2 hours. Food was Horrible, it's cold, under cooked, over cooked. Management is oblivious to what's going on. We get a $40.00 discount on a $300.00 check. I'm furious, tired and hungry. So I decide not to complain again as I didn't want to make a scene. It was suppose to be a birthday dinner for 5 people out of our party. It was a total disappointment.

waitress
I had THE most unpleasant experience today at outback Southfield, MI. First upon arrival, I couldn't be seated in the restaurant area because there were only 2 servers and that there would be a 10 mn. wait if I wanted to sit in the dining area. The hostess asked, if I wanted to sit at the bar for faster service, well of course because I was on my lunch break! The waitress at the bar never acknowledge my presence. I waited patiently for 10 min. before I spoke up and said, hello. She looked disappointed as she was serving other guests at the bar. I noticed, there was never any eye contact and I could tell she felt me observing her performance with the others. It was then, she asked, can I get you something to drink? I said, yes, water with lemons. It took 15 min. for me to get water. Patiently waiting again, I said, may I have some bread? She looked away, and said, can I take your order? I said, yes and proceeded with my order. By then, 35 minutes had passed. I said, am I going to receive the bread? She said, yes! To make a long story short, the waitress was rude. I then moved to the dining area after requesting to speak with the manager "Dana" and by the time I received what I ordered, I grew frustrated and didn't have a stomach to eat the meal. I expressed this concern to the manager, "Dana" and she said, it was okay for me to nibble on the salad, but took the crab legs back. I am totally appalled by her decision to take the crab legs back after I waited almost an hour to eat anything. I told her, I was hungry and she went on to say, it's okay, you can eat the bread and the salad but I'll just take the crab legs off of your order. REALLY! YOU WOULD CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T EAT? In my personal opinion, she should have given me the meal to go and an apology for the rude behavior of her staff. She only apologized for the waitress who appeared to have a bad day when I mentioned it to her after my order didn't come for over 45 min. This is unfair! If you are going to throw the food away anyways, you should have at least offered it to me instead of taking it away. Very impersonal and rude!
Horrible treatment in outback!
We visited our outback 3 days ago and had an experience that cannot even begin to fit in 350 characters. It involves our money being taken from our table by a server and a poor management reaction and interaction. This was such a disappointment since we love this restaurant. We would like someone to contact us because we are so offended by the way we were treated. Since it was not taken care of at the restaurant hopefully something can be done to mend this. We are business owners and would be disappointed if our staff treated our customers in the manner we were treated. Our number is [protected]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Prime rib sandwich
On July 10th, my mother and I went to eat at the Tukwila, WA Outback Steakhouse. My experience was awful compared to the outback I enjoy eating at in Bellevue, WA. I love Outback Steakhouse and adore your prime rib sandwich. Every week I go to Outback and indulge myself in a delicious sandwich.
Therefore visiting another Outback, the Tukwila one, I thought I'd get the same experience! WRONG! When I ordered I asked for a prime rib sandwich that had slices of meat and not the chopped up crap that some restaurants have switched to. The woman said all the meat had been prepoportioned. I was not exactly sure what that meant but I trusted it'd turn out ok.
They brought me the sandwich and I was shocked. It was as if I had ordered something entirely different from the menu! It was covered in mayonnaise, mushrooms, chopped up tiny pieces of beef and dark brown onions on a crappy hamburger like bun. I protested loudly saying I was very unhappy. I told them how I wanted the sandwich and they were reluctant to correct it. I protested more trying my best to describe how I wanted the sandwich. The staff just did not understand and acted like I was rather crazy! Finally, I found a picture online of how the sandwiches are done correctly and showed it to them. At first they said they could not do it, but I allowed the waitress to take my phone with the pic and show it to the cook. The manager came back and repeated they could not do it the way I wanted it.
Finally, he said he could just cut a slice of prime rib but that he would have to charge me the price of a regular full price hamburger instead of the happy hour prime rib sandwich. I really did not want to go hungry, so I agreed. It came back and was ok tasting, way overdone meat with onions that were dark brown and slimy. It seems really bad that you can go to one Outback, get used to a certain way they fix it and go to another one and they fix it completely differently. You would think they'd all be equal. I was horrified that the price of my sandwich was double what it usually was. From now on I will stick to my regular Outback restaurant and avoid this chain and others at all costs! Disgusting! I would appreciate receiving a response and maybe a discounted sandwich next time I go to Outback. Included is a pic of how they usually are done at Eastgate Bellevue, WA Outback.
Food was burnt
I ordered curbside service on July 3, [protected]@ outback located on New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC. I ordered 2 large chicken quesadillas&both orders were burnt on both sides! I didn't check my food until I got home when I opened them you could smell that they were burnt! Talked to the manager that was on duty and he said that he could replace them the next day because they were closed but the OWNER said that I would have to get a gift card for my next visit after they had a discussion! Please explain to me what's the difference? Now I've got to wait 3 days til he returns to work for burnt food that they allowed to be served!
Incorrect transactions applied to my credit cards!
8 was at the Orlando international airport on 06/23/18.
When I paid for my bill I requested $38.50 to be deducted from my Master card ending xxxx. A further $16.50 from a prepaid Master card ending in 3600.
When I signed the receipts the amounts were correct with the right cards.
On looking at my accounts it appears that you have debited $38.50 from card ending xxxx(should be $16.50)
You have also deducted $38.50 and $16.50 from card ending xxxx.
I am appalled that you can get this so wrong! I even left a tip in cash!
I have attached a copy if the receipt for the $16.50 that should have been deducted from card ending xxxx for time of transaction etc.
I expect this to be rectified immediately.
I do not wish to call you long distance from the UK as I am considerably out of pocket already!
I amazing charges from the prepaid card company as the transaction is more than available funds.

I look forward to a prompt response.

Management
7pm went to dine there. We were regulars until today. Server was really busy but brought items like condiments after serving our meal. We called a white female manager over and asked for her assistance. She appeared helpful when I complained about the small condition pf one of my lamchops. I also stated it appeared to have been eaten off. She seemed apologetic. She went to kitchen promising to replace the small lamb chop. She appeared 15 mins later with some unrecognizable item on a plate
I asked what was ot suppose to be. It looked like a lamp chop bone with all fat. It was even smaller than the one that needed replacing. I stated it was unacceptable. She smirked and quipped I dont grow the lamb. I stared for a split second to see of she was just joking and looked to see where the real replacement was and that slop was all there was. I asked her if she would pay for something that looked like that (23.99 tax not included). She just looked at me dumbfounded saying what? I repeated the question, she shuffled from one foot to the other. Sputtering unrecognizable words. I asked a third and final time. Meanwhile my husband tells her its a total insult to bring something he wouldnt give a dog to our table. I am livid and shaking, yet in a quiet tight tone, I asked for the manager. Well she brightens and says "yeah that would be me." in disbelief I ask "you are the manager." she has a total wide grin now. I tell my husband I want to leave. A server (not ours) suggest talking to a diff manager. He is in total agreement about her attitude and both lamb chops. He agrees to replace both lamb chops, however I am done. No appetite now. I praise and thank god for being saved, sanctified and filled with the holy spirit. There was a time someone woulda had to make my bond. This was after a very trying day already. I know trials come to make us strong in the lord. Father god please helllp! Outback sometimes guests have already been through a difficult day. Train your people how to serve and treat your guest with the service they deserve. I will not be returning. I will tell the good lord all about this.
Service and food preparation
Outback Steakhouse Garner NC. June 22, 2018. Never experienced or even seen such bizarre and inept service in my 59 years. 5:30 pm dinner, many empty tables, no wait to be seated, no line when left either, so if busy were understaffed. I ordered the 4 course meal, soup, salad (caesar only using romaine / no iceberg lettuce in it and no croutons), entree of grilled chicken and steamed broccoli and dessert of cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Husband ordered a soup and made a point of ordering the large coconut shrimp app as his entree since not on menu entrée form, with a side of broccoli to go with it. That he was ordering it as his entree was discussed with the waitress as no longer in entree form and we have done this before.
After 20 minutes still had not recieved our soup or my salad. Out comesa server, not our waitress, bringing food to our table. They have chicken and brocolli for me and they have only brocolli for my husband. I nicely explain what we ordered, how long it has been, that the brocolli for my husbnd goes with the coconut shrimp for his entree. I tell server to take this food back into the kitchen and that we need our soups and my salad before any of our entree items is served and that I do not want to recieve this same chicken later all dried out because it is not fresh. Server goes back in. I figure from here things will improve- mistakes can be made after all. About 7 minutes later a different server brings out both our soups and my salad at the same time. My french onion soup is fine but my husbands clam chowder is so thick and piled in such a lumpy high rounded pile in the bowl that it looks like it came right out of can with no fluid added or maybe they just needed to add mor liquid to the pot as happens as it sits. We order it often, so know it is not right, but husband decides to keep it as we've waited so long for our food now and he says can eat it really thick. My caesar salad has iceberg lettuce and croutons in it despite me ordering it without both so I leave them in bowl since not included in my diet.
We have not had time to take more than a bite of our soup or salad when another server comes to our table with just the coconut shrimp for my husband, no brocolli side order and nothing for me. I explain that the coconut shrimp is not an appetizer it is my husbands entree and has a brocolli side order with it and that we have just recieved our soup and salad and have not had time to eat either. That we both would like to receive our entrees at the same time, that this service is bizarre, and that I would like to speak to a manager at this point. I have him take the coconut shrimp back to the kitchen. All this time our waitress has not spoken to us since she took our order though we see her walking past us constantly. When we are almost done with our soup and my salad another server in a red shirt comes to the table with my chicken and brocolli and only a side order of brocolli for my husband. I tell the server this is ridiculus, my husbands brocolli goes with his entree of coconut shrimp and that I have already requested to speak to a manager. She says she is a manager. Did not identify herself when came to serve us. Tell her should not be so difficult to read our order and serve it in the proper order, and I tell her what has gone on so far with service, and now bring up issues with his soup and my salad that had they started serving us properly, I would not have complained about. She goes back to have them cook my husbands coconut shrimp to go with his side of brocolli which she leaves on the table though he is not done with his soup. She states that they have been busy. I tell her in all my years I've never had such service or even seen such service and I was a waitress and banquett waitress when young. She brings out coconut shrimp for my husband after a while. While we are eating, my husband is witnessing a table across from us where another couple have apparently ordered the four course special also who have had the same problem with the service. He directs my attention to the table where the couple have previously recieved their entree and sides and now the server is bringing out soup and salad to both of them. Of course in their tiny booth for two there is no room for all the dishes. We are incredulous. I tell him I wonder what it will take to get my dessert when we are done with our food and say we will wait and see if they remember. We still have not spoken again with our waitress. Finally after we finish our entree and sides and someone else has cleared our plates. No dessert arrives so I wait 10 minutes and hail our waitress to tell her that I need her to add our dine rewards account to our check and we discuss the problems with the order of our service etc… and she aplogizes. When I bring up the 4 course special she says "you had the 4 course special, did you get your dessert?" I tell her no I was waiting to see when they would notice. She promptly gets me my cheesecake. I ask for it to go at this point.
I do not like to complain.I really don't. But this was absolutely ridiculous didn't improve. I felt like we were on candid camera or a prank tv show it was so bad. We were there celebrating our 40th wedding Anniversary (an extended celebration over several weeks which included a cruise and will culminate on June 30th and will extend the celebration through July 8th as a 40th anniversary deserves. This meal was so stressfull that it was in no way enjoyable and actually would have been better had we stayed home. we certainly wish we had chosen a different resturant that night. We have never had such service at ban Outback Steakhouse before.
Selling t-bone steaks as porterhouse steaks
On 6/15 my fiancee and I purchased a Porterhouse stake, it was so large I couldn't finish half of it. We were so pleased we planned to make every Friday Porterhouse day. But on 6/23 Outback on 1750 Scenic highway in Snellville Ga served two of the smallest T-bone stakes I ever had, and tried to pass them off as Porterhouse stakes. Having worked in a meat packing wearhouse in can tell the difference immediately. the manager tried his best to convince me we lucked up the first time. Which still says there is no consistency in there customer service, and that is just as bad. Be cautious if you eat there. I don't recommend it.
The server, and management
I visited the Outback on Wells Road in Orange Park Florida, The server does not have any people skills or she was not having a good night. she spoke to my wife like she was unable to speak for herself, also gave my wife a hard time over dirty flatware. I was in the Restaurant Industry for many years I would never have a server with the attitude that our server had, never asked if we needed a refill, brought us old cold coffee with our desert, and this is the second time we have had a bad experience at your establishment, I might ad that she was tipped very well. we were not happy and I do not think we will return.
Employee hygiene
I visited Outback Steakhouse location at 722 Jamacha Road, El Cajon, CA 92019.
Upon arrival I went to restroom to wash my hands and witnessed a female employee with dark hair exit the stall and walk out to work without washing her hands.
I know all food service employees are required to wash their hands before returning to work. I believe this employee needs to be re educated with regards to hygiene at work and the possible illnesses she can spread by her actions.
Poor service, food barely warm, one item not brought, drinks unrefilled
6/16/18 svr 40 6:59p.M.in 7:45 paid and left. Always had good luck at outback and we were traveling saw sign and stopped in for dinner. Place was a bit busy and we decided to sit in bar at a table. Took waitperson 8 minutes to show up. By then we knew what we wanted and order soft drinks, blooming onion and meals. About 15 minutes different person delivered meal we asked about onion he had no idea said he would check on it and left. Baked potato was hot and so was broccoli, my alice spring chicken not. Chicken dry and barely warm, cheese on top looked like yesterdays pizza cheese, fries same think it sat under heat lamp for to long waiting for potato to get ready. With no one around had no choice but to eat chicken and without the dipping sause would not of been able to eat it. Original wait person showed up after meal was done what I could eat and said she forgot about the onion. Just then the second waitperson showed up with onion, now as desert? She left the bill and disappered drinks now dry and unrefilled. Decided to pay bill and leave.. Probably the worst meal in a resturant I have had in decades.
Prime rib
My son took his father to Outback for Fathers day, there were 6 of us total and 3 of us ordered the prime rib dinner, my husband had the large one, myself and my daughter had the medium one. They were the worst prime rib I have ever eaten. They were cold in the middle and looked like they had only been roasted for a short time and taken out of the oven too soon as to keep the prime rib on the menu, as it was not done. We spent over 60.00 for the prime rib and it was terrible. We did not complain as we did not want Fathers Day to be spoiled for my husband or my son but I wanted to make you aware of the situation, Your Blooming Onion was good as always but I don't think we will be going back to Outback in the future because of the prime rib. We have been frequent customers at Outback and we were very disappointed.

Service
6.17.18 - about 1930.
Outback in Centennial, Colorado.
Very busy on Father's Day. Very friendly staff and hard working. We waited at the bar to be seated, what we thought was a phone call (what we heard). Half an hour later, we again followed up and was told were sent a text. Nice person, odd experience.
Moscow mule my wife had was not in a copper mug, and she said only tasted the ginger beer, didn't finish.
The negative. Lots of running and almost got knocked over three times by staff on 2 separate occasions. Lots of elderly (whole families there) that could have been very hurt, broken hips etc. The floor is very slippery and greasy.
Used the server request button which flashed for a good five minutes both times. I expected more follow up from the waiter, a very nice person, we are trying to be fair on a busy day.
The second time there were 6 staff members bussing tables around us at the same time, and joking with each other as if we were invisible, while the light was flashing (had to activate twice) and then they were all gone. Finally got up again frustrated to find waiter so we could leave. We still told him he did a good job, this seems like a management problem.
Presentation. Mashed potatoes were scooped and plopped almost on the edge of plate in a hurry. Filet mignon almost off the other side. Wife complained of no presentation. Maybe a sprig of parsley? This isn't the military.. Done that.. they actually are better at plopping food on your tray in my opinion.
Again, love outback. Suggest better teamwork.
Not to be nit-picky, buy hope feedback helps.
Also, points did not work in the end for either the bar or the table. No paper in receipt maker at each table. App for feedback took time to fill out, is buggy, and the last input field didn't work, had to redo 5 times. My wife then tried on her phone, same thing, different phone and browser. More time wasted trying to help the Outback team.
Very frustrating experience to choose Outback for fathers day, wish we had gone somewhere else to be honest, especially at $25 a plate and $10 cocktails etc.

Service and food
On fathers day m son wanted us all to go to outback. we made reservation and were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered alcoholic drinks and appetizers. we ordered the sampler. the onion pedals were so overcooked they were disgusting! I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with aussie fries. The server never once asked if wed like another drink. the fries were nice and hot the ribs were COLD. I tried one bit and refused to eat it . it was barely room temperature and the center was not. As a retired executive chef I know how long it takes to cook good ribs and that in order to meet a demand they may have to be reheated no problem just heat them! any foods reheated for service must come to 165 this was not done. The server never checked back to see why I did not eat them and I could not even get another drink. I went to the hostess and told her at least tell the kitchen when they serve ribs to heat them. regretfully a family member paid the bill as I would not have paid for food that was not edible.
