cream cheese out of stock
Every time I visit this Panera bread on pines Blvd and hiatus it is always out of cream cheese. No onion no walnut just plain cream cheese. What is the point of having someone who orders supplies if they are always out. This has happen on several occasions and I am fed up and will never go to this Panera again it's obvious the person who orders supplies is by doing their job.
ham, egg and cheese sandwich, customer service
We ate at the Panera on Foss in Sioux Falls, SD this morning. When they brought my husbands sandwich there was no cheese. He immediately told the server and was told "I made it and there is cheese on it." He ate the sandwich with no cheese. When I got bagels to go the cashier asked how everything was. I told her about the sandwich. She mentioned it to the same young man. He told me again, "I made that sandwich myself so I know there was cheese on it. I put it there." I assume the statement on the receipt stating the order should be correct everytme or it will be fixed right away. Instead my husband and I were basically called liars. I love Panera but am not sure if I will return to this location or any other.
service and food
I just ate at Panara in Washington pa. When I ordered they didn't have the bread for the sandwich I ordered then I tried to get the flatbread they had no tomato for it when our food was ready my husbands steak wasn't done and when I took it up to be cooked more they told me to use the microwave. I tried that and the sandwich was a soggy mess.i was very disappointed in that restaurant I have ate at other places and was amazing.
employee bullying
I started working at Panera Boca Raton and I have never been mistreated by the staff especially one of the managers Kiernan who has had a nasty mouth against me when I ask for help and talks nasty behind my back. I always was taught to work as a team and have communication to make everything work. I am not the type of person to write a complaint but it has gone too far and I walked out of the job on Friday crying because of the mistreatment. I love working there and I need the job to help support my family but with abuse like that I had to say something.
charged incorrectly and treated rudely
I tried submitting this earlier, but I'm not sure if it went through.
I stop by once or twice a week on my way to work and have never had any issues until today. I ordered my usual order of 1 caramel latte with 1/2 the amount of expresso, but extra caramel and 1 steamed milk with caramel. When I received my receipt it said 2 caramel lattes. I told the cashier that it was supposed to be 1 steamed milk. She told me that they HAVE to ring it up that way. I told her they never have before so she got the manager to fix it. The manager came and was very rude. She said they will have to ring to the whole order up and it will be MORE expensive because they have to ring up up as a hot chocolate with extra caramel. I was so annoyed and just wanted to get out of there because I had been waiting for over 15 minutes already so I just paid it. The manager seemed like she was trying to prove a point to me because I questioned it. She just kept saying "this is what the GM told us to do".
It was a very bad experience and it makes me not want to go back.
wrongly accused
I understand that Panera now owns Au Bon Pain.
I am writing this in hopes that you can help me. Here is the background and what happened:
I am a neighborhood volunteer (PEACE), who picked up baked goods from the different ABPs in Downtown Pittsburgh. I delivered these baked goods to various churches that service the homeless or had special functions from 2009 to 2016.
I picked up the donations from various ABPs using a cart provided by St. Mary's of Mercy (one of the churches I deliver the baked goods to). During good-weather days, I gave out the baked goods at the Red Door during their lunch program twice a week on the street (the Blvd. of Allies and Stanwix St.) as a volunteer at the Red Door. The client usually picks up his/her bag of lunch, and then comes over to my cart and selects a baked good. This practice continues today, only the baked goods are from a different bakery (after 2016 ABP no longer donated).
In 2017, ABP made a corporate decision to donate to the YMCA. I was happy that the food was being used.
Earlier this week, I decided to call ABP to inquire if their donation policy had changed, I was told to call back.
Today, March 22, I followed up with Dominion/EQT ABP in Downtown Pittsburgh. I spoke to a manager named Crystal. She said I was banned from all ABP stores, and that if I showed up in any of the stores, security would be called. I asked her what she was talking about. She said I knew. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about. I pleaded with her to tell me what she was talking about. She insisted I knew. She finally said I had taken the baked goods and sold them. I was shocked! I asked her who made these allegations. I told her the allegations were not true, and I needed to clear my name. She would not talk to me. I called her two more times pleading with her that I had to clear my name and that the allegations were not true. All the donations were delivered to various churches. She forcefully said she could not talk to me.
I am pleading with you now to help me. I must have my name cleared. I am in seminary. I have never taken any baked goods and sold them. I had and have delivered every baked good to the churches and specified organizations. I have a very successful career. I am only trying to help those in need.
Yours truly,

rude behavior
Hi,
Yesterday I went into the new Panera location and Heather helped us. We ask what one of the pastries was because there was no tags (we thought it was an éclair) and she replied chocolate pastry but we weren't sure if she answered regarding the right one (there was a brownie right in front of it) so we said behind that. She replied "that's the register!" with a lot of attitude. She then took my gift card to pay and said it was declined, I saw she had missed a number and ask if she minded trying once more since it was brand new card. She replied extremely rude once again and snatched my phone back out of my hand and retyped the info (it then went thru). My friend was with us and suggested we try another pastry you guys offer so I apologized and asked if we could add one last thing. She rolled her eyes and walked off to get what we had previously ordered and never rung me up or added the additional item. I was with 2 other people and we were all in shock with how extremely rude and unpleasant Heather had been with us. There was no one else in line so it was not like we were holding up the line. I understand people have bad days but there is absolutely no reason someone should talk to others the way she did. All 3 of us walked out of there very upset with how we were treated.
Thank you for your time
rapid pick up
I love ordering through Rapid Pick Up and have had a few mishaps with wrong orders but now when I see the receipt checked off I trust it's correct. But today March 22, 2018, I picked up my order at the Wheaton Panera - saw the receipt was all checked okay and took the bag to the car. But when I started to leave I realized the bag was too small to have my whole order in it and unpacked the bag. My salad was missing. I went back into Panera but could not find the staff member who had supposedly checked my order as okay. The staff behind the counter - the one where the food is made - located my salad. The "checking" staff member then came up. I told her my order was wrong. She asked what was missing and I said they (indicating the cooks) had found my salad. She just shrugged. I was so annoyed. What if I hadn't checked the bag in the car - I would have driven home with no salad. An "I'm sorry" and the offer of a free treat (which I see on my receipt I should have been offered anyway) would have gone a long ways to abating my annoyance.

Date of visit 3/21/2018
Receipt Check Number 524425
I visited Panera on 3/21/2018 and ordered 1 BB Broc Ched Soup and when I handed my rewards card to use my $2.00 off discount, I was informed by the cashier that the rewards cards are not working today. I asked her why and she had no idea why the register was not reading the rewards card. I asked her if we are going to be compensated through corporate due to this. She said no. I also informed her I do not know when the rewards offer expires and I wanted to have the ability to use it. She informed me that she was not able to see when the rewards expire and she hopes it doesn't expire soon. Today 3/22/2018 I look at my Panera account and Today it expires (3/22/2018) and I am not able to go to Panera today due to my heavy schedule today. I am disappointed because nothing was done to accommodate the customer.

horrible service and disgusting/dirty restrooms
10 March, 2018 we had the misfortune of deciding to stop at Panera in Albany, NY for lunch about 3p.m. The fact that there were 2 male/female restrooms should have been our first indication to leave, but we weren't that smart. (My 27 year old daughter had to go into a restroom that a 'disheveled' young man came out of; seat was up and there was urine and toilet paper on the floor. Disgusting. Please re-think your policy at this Panera of taking the 'easy' way out of 'gender neutral' restrooms! Then it came time to place our orders; an Asian Salad, a you-pick 2 with an Asian Salad and Frontega Chicken, and a Greek Salad with chicken. We also ordered a Kitchen Sink cookie and a chocolate chip bagel. We sat down at a table and waited for our 'pager' to notify us that our order was ready. Didn't happen, but a server showed up with our 'order'. First issue, my Frontega was no where to be seen. When asked, she said "Let me see your ticket!" like we were lying. She said nothing, then returned with my Frontega. The Greek Salad with chicken my husband ordered came without chicken. To the window he went, where some chicken was thrown on top of his salad. No apology. The Asian Salad my daughter ordered as a meal was placed on top of some other kind of salad - not a good thing as she has multiple allergies. To the window my husband went again with her salad. Back to the table he came with her 'correct' order. No apologies. Nothing. Bottom line: restrooms are absolutely disgusting, and all 3 of our orders were wrong, with no apologies at all. Not a normal Panera experience thankfully, but we will not be returning to Panera in Albany.
lunch, breakfast service
On March 20th, 2018 I stopped at Punier Bread for breakfast...I stopped going to Panera because of how people handle both food and money without gloves. How the cashier will put her hand in a box where she's placing your pastry when she's just handled money with the same hand and of course no gloves or even worst she touches the paper against her clothing and then uses it to pick up yoru pastry. But I tried going there again.
My bill was a little over 20 dollars for a tuna sandwich on multi grain bread, a half salad and a bowl of oatmeal. I scanned my very old members card, paid for my order and waited at the pickup counter. The I went home. Oh My God. The oatmeal had dried apple slices and the oatmeal was so thick it must have been heating for a couple of days. The bread for the sandwich was so hard on the outside it may have been out all day. The ends were hard but the bread was soft. there was a tiny scoop of tuna in the center of the bread about a tablespoon full. It was horrible. What I got was a clump of oatmeal, and a sandwich of lettuce, tomato and onion with a small spoonful of tuna in the center and a couple of bags of chips. (2) stale sandwiches. Even worst than the really bad breakfast/lunch investment was one of the workers behind the counter with his pants sagging and his underwear showing while he's handling food. He had on the same gloves to open a door go in another part of the restaurant, and return to the counter where was making food. This was the Panera in Matteson. Ill at about 11:00 in the morning. HOW HORRIBLY UNSANITARY AND UNSAFE. Don't they get food handling certification or do you allow them to just feed your customers anything.

poor service
I went to the panera bread in Christiansburg on 3/19 and spent 50 minutes in the drive through. After getting home after getting food I realized that they had forgotten one of my sandwiches, bacon turkey bravo. I called the store asking for a refund and was told a manager would call me back as they were extremely busy. I reluctantly left them my name and number and have not received a call back and don't expect to.
manager denver woods
On 3/12/2018 at 7:42pm my husband and I visited Panera Bread Cafe 1892 in Cartersville, GA on a trip home from visiting our new grandbaby. Our check number was 328923 and order number 323. When we received our order both of our sides were missing (a French baguette) and I was served soup without a spoon. My husband retrieved our missing items. We noticed at the top of our receipt in bold print,
"Accuracy matters," followed by
"Your order should be correct every time. If it's not, we'll fix it right away, and give you a free treat for your trouble. Just let any associate know."
When my husband asked the worker about this, they called up the manager, Denver Woods. At first he did not act like he even knew that was written on the receipt. Then Mr. Woods said, "That is only if you leave the building with a wrong order."
We were astonished. Does accuracy only matter for take out? Accuracy does not matter for dine in customers?
We were so disappointed because whenever we travel, we always look for a Panera Bread when we are ready to eat because we have always had excellent food and excellent service in the past.
We just believe the manager of an establishment should be familiar with the policies of their company. It was not the fact we did not get a treat that angered us, it was the absurd notion that the policy only applied to take out. It that is indeed true, then the policy should be worded to indicate that.
Thank you so very much.

service all together
I took a friend to Punier in my area. It was her birthday and she has never been. I spent about $30.00 and got the rudest people. I was beside myself. I was embarrassed to say this was one of my favorite lunch spots.
I thought bringing her there would create a new lunch spot for her. The dishes were dirty the mac and cheese was cold. The salad was old and barely anything for a full size. The panini was not working and when I asked if they could recommend something the girl snapped at me. It took everything in my power not to ask for a refund and leave.
I will never go to that location again just or the poor customer service and all that I mentioned above. I understand it can be stressful at times especially during lunch rush. But I was treated like trash and that has stuck to me.
Thanks -Lisa
lentil quinoa bowl
For $10 it's ridiculous. This is Pittsburgh PA market, not NY or LA. And don't even get me started about lentil and Quinoa- missing in action. A full bowl of soup is $5.99. This was so disappointing. 1/2 cup broth, 1/2 egg and some greens. I left hungry, and angry at myself for not speaking up . But it's embarassing to have to ask for food when you pay reasonable money. I won't ever go Panera. I'll go across the street at Wendy's for their Power Mediterranean Salad for $6.99.
my order was very wrong
Mobile order [protected]. Paid $58.33 Online order. Cafe order #921805. We pick it up in the drive-through. Ordered bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich customize they got a wrong. I ordered salad no tomatoes they got it wrong. I Iask for silverware no silver included. which is upsetting because we order 2 soups with no spoons. I order two bread bowls only got one. I paid $58.33 and only got 3 napkins. I ordered 10 items with 3 Napkins. Very disappointed. When I call the manager has solution was to me to drive back 6 miles
triple credit charge!
I visited the Panera bread restaurant in Garden City, New York on March 16th, 2018. I used their self-serve computer to order a dine-in meal that totaled $24.13. I swiped my visa card one at the end of the order to pay for the meal. The PC does NOT provide a receipt. When I checked my account when I arrived home, I found that Panera had submitted THREE different charges for the same meal!
mediterranean veggie sandwich
I paid for my sandwich and when I received, I noticed onion before I bit into it. I had requested no onions, so I opened it to pull out onions and noticed 1/2 of my sandwich had no lettuce and only one small tomato. Yes, the other half of sandwich had one small tomato and lettuce that was wilted since the sandwich was heated.
Do cooks not understand it you heat a sandwich with lettuce it will become wilted...
I took back and asked for more arugula.
Listen, I ordered a veggie sandwich so I expected to pay for enough arugula to cover the entire sandwich.
They did offer to remake my sandwich. I said no just want more lettuce.
I believe panera cooks had the opportunity to make my sandwich right the first time. Prices continue to go up and panera and the quality and quantity has gone down. I had problems the last time I visited your store as well so this will be the last time I eat at a panera bread again. Your prices are to high and now you even ask for a tip. Well my tip to you is train works to make food correctly the first time.
I was at store #0849 3-14-18 at 7:18pm
no breakfast at 10:28
Get it togehter Panera, went to your Colorado Blvd location in Glendale and for the third time was rejected for a breakfast order before 10:30am. What is going on here? I work nearby and will no longer order anything from you because you can't live up to the base expectations of guest service. If you state that you have breakfast items serve them! If Mcdonalds can get it right so can you!

Well is actually not only that Panera is most around the country. There was a recall around the end of Januarydue to listeria concerns and they did not only recall it they actually ceased production for the time being of honey walnut (my favorite), onion and chives, blueberries and not sure what the other one was. So if you do find a panera store that still offers these be aware of it..
