Panera Bread This morning, there was bacon in sandwich. I'm vegetarian. I want to quit being disappointed. They were not busy. I was alone in line this morning.

There are times where my hot chocolate tastes like water, only to find the chocolate is at the bottom, and not mixed in. I order soup and my croutons and bread are missing. I order a cookie, and it's not in my order. I frequently don't return, as gas is ridiculous, and I don't live close. And now, I have to take the time to write all this out, as my verbal complaints go unresolved. My name is Thomas. My number is [protected]. I live at 650 E Laurel Ave. Glendora, CA 91741. I would like some type of compensation. I've noted here, that there are well over 1,000 complaints, and only 30 plus have been resolved. this does not seem like good business practice for a corporation that truly serves quality food and could be a thriving business.

Desired outcome: A gift card of any amount would be appreciated. I personally take pride in my job and believe in good work ethics. I wish more people did also. Please send help to this location.

Panera Bread Molded Bread

My name is Eileen Everett and I have a complaint about one of your store which is located in Springfield Pa My granddaughter and i went to Paneras on Dec 13, 2022 I use to go to that store on several occasions but I stopped going because every time I went they screw up my order well we decided to go today which was a bad choice again. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee when I went to fix my coffee the cream was empty so the girl filled it for me and then I poured it into my coffee and it was nothing but lumps in my coffee that should of told me to get out but we were hungry so I opened my sandwich and it was on molded bread they gave us our money back Then I took my plate to show the person behind the booth and he got smart with me This happened today and it was at 18:53 . Panera Bread The most disrespectful person

This is the worst Panera in the world, the disrespect and audacity of the workers behind the counter is out of control.

This evening I went in there to grab my free birthday pastry and the manager was actually very nice, but I grabbed a soup and my sister grabbed a coffee. While waiting for my soup my sister told me that the coffee was not good, so when my name was called for the soup I told the young Spanish girl who replied "go look for someone on the floor because I cant help you". Lets talk about the attitude of this worker when there was no need to act like that. I simply said then grab a manager for me then. I still was not mad, a little annoyed but as the manager comes over she begins to speak and say you could have asked me, I said your the first person I asked and then she begins to get nasty with me and saying rude words to me. At this point its ridiculous Panera still employees people that have no customer service. I asked the manager who the names of the workers were because shortly after that another worker decides to pick a fight with my sister, trying to team up on me. I cant believe you allow this to happen and this happen in front of a packed restaurant. Why I could not have the names of the disrespectful employees is un be knowns to me but if this continues you will have bigger problems on your hands then a customer complaint.

Can someone please get back to me about this situation and just get rid of the bad seeds

Desired outcome: The employees involved written up and the manager trained on how to handle a situation that involves customer. The employees did not even listen to the manager which tells me there is no respect there

Panera Bread Price!!!

I recently had to fill in at another location for my company. I was so excited because there was a Panera Bread across the street at that office. All I could think about was going for lunch and getting a bread bowl with broccoli cheddar soup. In lack of better words, I almost [censored] when the cashier told me the total of my lunch! I ordered a bread bowl with soup and a small drink and it was almost $14.00. One, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME and TWO, if I intended on spending that much on LUNCH I would have went to somewhere with larger portions and something way better than just soup! Well after the shock of that I went back to work with my lunch and was going to sit down and try to enjoy this expensive meal. The bread bowl was so hard and tough that I couldn't even eat it and that just added to my frustration! Maybe you should consider lowering your prices some. The lady behind me had the same experience, she did the "pick 2" and got a salad, soup and a drink and it was $23.00! WHAT? AGAIN, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? A person can go to Olive Garden and eat UNLIMITED soup, salad and breadsticks plus a drink for $10.00! I told the girls when I got back to work how expensive lunch was and they ALL stated that they dont ever eat at Panera Bread for this very reason!

Panera Bread Wrong order 3 x and still no return response to my e-mails about inability to use rewards

Hello Panera, (Panera Customer Care Inquiry [[protected]])

My initial complaint with Panera has happened 3 x's now. Wrong item in the to go orders. My husband became a member since my conversation with Douglas about getting the wrong order. It says here, in this e-mail, that a reward was added to the account. Please see screen grab of our inability to redeem. At this point, although we have been going to Panera as a guest since it opened in our city, I don't see the point of the membership and will consider cancelling. A response would be appreciated.

Panera Bread Inability to use monthly take two certificate

I had purchased a whole year certificate for 2020 of Take Two monthly & I had used 10 of the 12 months. I had both November & December remaining on the card.

In the past the local & out of town stores allowed me to use as needed due the Covid 19 pandemic situation. Since November & December 2020 & 2021 still had issues I waited until I felt comfortable to use at a store.

Today I went to use at Cafe 601119 in Orchard Park NY and was refused. In addition I was unable to use funds in my gift card account to purchase 2 Take Two orders.

I had to use a separate credit card to complete the order

I am a regular at this location with 4-14 individuals on weekly basis on Tuesday, FYI

Desired outcome: Ability to use or substitute & clarifying info regarding inability to use gift card on my cellphone I can forward copy of receipt if necessary.

Panera Bread The restaurant customer service

I first contacted customer support online to complain about not having tamper proof stickers on my coffee that was delivered to me. Customer support told me someone from the restaurant would be reaching out to me but guess what to my surprise no one ever did. So I decided to call just now and the smart [censored] manager just well we apologize it was mistake and that it's. No empathy just sarcasm and giving me energy that I should just accept the I;m sorry and move on... is this what you guys call customer service ok... what be goig to Panera Bread again.

Panera Bread Code of conduct

Management engaging in sexual activity during work hours with a married co worker. Married co worker is physically assaulting her spouse when confronted about said incidents. There is an audio recording of the event along with the Manager saying he only hired based on personality instead competence. This is a work place and food establishment that has families that go there, it is beyond Unethical.

Panera Bread Service and food at the hoover galleria location in hoover alabama

I once loved this location. (Galleria Hoover). But stopped going a lot. The chicken and broccoli bowl is always out of stock. When it is in stock, it is cold when given to me. The bread is often burned. Can you image a place called Panera Bread with constant burned bread. I have driven up to the drive thru with the smell of burned bread. I can only image what the inside customers must be smelling. Or yes they are out of bagels again! The salads have been so poor. It is certainly not food as it should be. And yes! the drive thru... it is constantly closed. One of the advantages to this store is that it had a drive thru unlike the Vestavia location. Well, it has a drive thru but is seems to be closed every time I decide to go there. The customer service is soooo poor. Do you train them to say thank you? Would a pleasant attitude be too much to ask? Are they trained to check and make sure they have added utensils and napkins? I had to come inside on one of my visits to get a spoon which they failed to add to the bag once again. It took awhile to get this spoon, as my food got cold. I overheard another customer saying "This place as really gone to the dogs". I smiled as I patiently waited for a spoon. I did not say anything or complained. But mentally, I was agreeing with her! I want my old neighborhood Panera back! I have lived in Hoover for 30 years! I want the smell of Panera and the wonder customer service it once had back!

Desired outcome: Hired better worker! Retrain them! Do whatever it takes to make this place a better dining experience

Panera Bread Half-Eaten Food/Health Concern

I work overnight. I ordered for from Panera for the first time ever at 10/25 5:17pm, for pick-up at 5:45, I picked up my food myself, there was no curbside assistance, and my food was in a different location than the other take-out orders. I took the bag of food and left. at mealtime 4am 10/26/22 I open the bag and half the food was eaten from the teriyaki bowl, the chicken sandwich just had chicken, on a dry bun. So disappointed. threw the food away

Panera Bread online vs what you get

ordered chicken sandwich online. Great pic, certainly not what I got when I got home. Manager rude, asked for DM name, got that but no number, she didn't have. Hmmm, however a man named Kevin with a General Manager name tag came out. (Webster NY Panera Bread) I explained to him he didn't offer much. showed him the pic of what I ordered online vs what I got. didn't seem to have much of an answer. Gave me a refund and a free two pick two. Yea ok, I don't see how that resolves a problem. I say it's false advertising. I for sure did not get what I ordered. What the heck. They said all is proportioned and that is the allotted amount...ya, look at the pics and tell me that crap. Not Pleased at the outcome. do yourself a favor and make the damn sandwich like the pic or DON'T PUT A PIC ON YOUR WEBSITE TO DECEIVE PEOPLE.

Desired outcome: Fix the food or fix the fake pics on your website so more innocent people don't get suckered into buying. Seriously, look at the pics..You should be ashamed..

Panera Bread Customer Service on Arlington road in Green Ohio

I visited the Panara in Green on 10-16-22 about 5:30 p.m. I didn't get the name of the young lady (?) that waited on me. She was in her late teens and was attractive with blond/light brown hair. I waited for someone to take my order for about 3 minutes. She saw me but wandered around for about 3 minutes talking to other employees in the front (where they make sandwiches) and then in the back. She finally walked up to the cash register. She just looked at me (never said a word the whole time I was there). I then told her I wanted 6 bagels. She then just looked at me. I then told her the exact 6 I wanted. She entered the info in the machine, then looked at me. I looked at the register and saw the amount I owed. I gave her a $10. She got change and put it on the counted beside her and went to get the bagels. She struggled getting 2 sets of tongs, then a small bag, then a larger bag. After getting the 6 bagels she set them down on the counter and walker away. She never said one word to me the whole time. I am 76 years old and this is the worst service I have recieved in my life.

Desired outcome: Let me store manager know. My wife worked at this location for 5 years and she said she never heard of someone being mistreated like that.

Panera Bread Cold food / wrong item

In my husband and my first visit to Panera (about 2-3 weeks ago), we ordered, took a seat and waited for our buzzer to go off so we could get our food. Waited, and waited, and waited. Finally went up to pickup window to inquire -- surprise -- our food was sitting there and had been for some time. Toasted breakfast sandwiches were now cold. Had to ask to have them at least warmed up! Staff acted like this was an inconvenience. Had asked for eggs to be over easy on sandwich. They were WAY overcooked. (We actually ended up taking the egg off our sandwiches). Told manager, and was told that the buzzers were not working. Was half-heartedly offered to redo the order to make the eggs "right", but we declined.

Second visit (on 10/16/22) was with my niece. We each ordered a bowl of soup, mine broccoli cheddar, her's chicken and wild rice. Sat at table until buzzer went off. She went up to get order, and there was only one bowl of soup ready for pickup. She had to ask where the second bowl was. Had to wait while they prepared the bowl. First bowl of soup had no bread with it, second bowl had 2 pieces of bread. The Chicken and wild rice turned out to be chicken noodle! Ate our soup (too upset over such a simple mistake that we did not return it) and upon leaving informed an employee that it had been wrong, but ate it anyway. Suggested that serving staff might want to pay more attention to what the order actually was. Only words were "sorry about that".

Based on these 2 visits, there will not be a third visit from us! Both incidents were at the St. Augustine Cobblestone location here in Florida.

Desired outcome: Hire personnel that actually care what they are doing. Impress upon employees how important customer service is, as poor service results in the loss of customers!

Panera Bread My recent experience

My Order # is [protected] I ordered on 10/14/22

I had also previously ordered on 9/21

My order was delivered and was missing a sandwich. I attempted to contact the store and had to recall several times to get someone to answer. The individual told me they had no idea when the sandwich would be delivered and could refund the cost of it. I drove to the store and was then given the missing item and a free cookie for my time. I would like to have my full meal refunded as this is absurd that I had to drive to the store to receive my order that was delivered. This was the second time I had to do this.

The first time I was refunded my sandwich. I had the same experience the first time in regards to no one answering phones. This time however, the phone was never answered. I understand short staffing and that everyone is suffering but when an order is completed there is no reason to have part of it done and not all of it especially when it has been checked off the receipt. Me and my staff/. building order form this store on a regular basis and are very frustrated at this point.

Panera Bread management

My daughter worked at Panera in Allentown, pa on Hamilton blvd when multiple situations with the General manager, Devon. This in turn, forced her to resign.

On Saturday the 8th, 2022 a situation came up between my daughter and her co-worker when Devon improperly interfered spreading false accusations to other team members. This not only caused frustration and tension, but an uncomfortable working environment. This conversation between my daughter and her co-worker friend was personal. Devon's interreference and lies caused bulling and friendships to be broken. This situation was not the first time Devon interfered. Among this she has not provided my daughter with any evaluations during her 9 months in order for her to advance or obtain a raise. She favored other employees and paid them more. She was not reliable when providing a schedule or times for her to work. If Devon was not working, she would not provide any information or confirmation about her schedule or time changes for her shifts. My daughter was a loyal employee and went above and beyond during her shifts, and came in when others called out. It's a shame, My daughter really liked working for Panera.

Desired outcome: My daughter just doesn't want anyone else to be mistreated the way she was.As her mother-Devon is not general manager material and should be on probation or fired.

Panera Bread Order number [protected]

Good morning,

date of incident - 9/22/22

Placed online order for a large order $278.00 from Cafe in Cheektowaga NY. We did not receive order - I contacted the cafe they said that door dash delivery person delivered. We did not receive any of this food it was for a meeting at a corporate office. I was told to contact door dash - I contacted door dash they submitted a refund request to the cafe because they received the payment via credit card. They stated that someone would contact me for more information. I am still waiting for someone to contact me - I need a refund of these monies as we did not receive the food. I would like to get this matter taken care of immediately - we have ordered from Panera multiple times and never have had a problem.

Desired outcome: Please refund the money and I would like a response/ update to resolve this matter

Panera Bread Mistake on the order

on 10-5-22 Order Number 1355861 at the Gratiot Avenue Panera, Roseville, MI I arrived home and I had a cup of chicken noodle soup instead of a bowl. Also no French bagettes even though the drive thru bag said those items and I paid for those.

Everyone was pleasant so I don't want to get anyone in trouble. But I didn't want to go back once I was at home. My telephone Number is [protected].

Panera Bread chipotle chicken alvacado melt

1. Panera Ballentyne Village, North Carolina

2. Panera Indian Land, South Carolina

I bought the chipotle chicken avocado melt twice within the last 2 weeks (once at each of the above listed locations). At location #1, the avocados had many black spots, and the sandwich was extremely dry.

At location #2, the avocado was hard (i.e. not ripe) and again the sandwich was extremely dry.

I finished maybe 1/4 of a whole sandwich because both sandwiches were just that bad.

Desired outcome: My money back and training at both locations on how to make this sandwich and to not use old avocados. I am now leery of purchasing anything again at your establishment.

Panera Bread Accuracy of order

September 26, 2022

Dear Panera Bread,

I am writing to you to tell you about the last FOUR experiences I had at your location in Clemmons, NC, 3107 Gammon Lane. I always order the same thing when I go to Panera…. The Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad. I am a Panera member and always scan my card when I order. All of my last four orders were delivered to me with something missing, and I didn’t realize the mistake until I had gotten the order home, since they were all Take-Out orders. This is a breakdown of those orders: 1. I ordered an apple with the salad and got bread. I didn’t go back to have the order corrected. 2. The salad was missing the strawberries completely from the salad. I didn’t go back to have the order corrected because I had strawberries at home and I used those. 3. The salad was missing the dressing…… completely. I didn’t go back to have the order corrected, and just ate the salad without dressing. 4. The salad was missing the chicken. My husband DID go back to Panera and came back with the chicken.

Obviously, there is something lacking about the service and the accuracy of the orders placed at this location. I did not scan my Panera card on that last order, the one with the missing chicken, because I ordered from the kiosk in the store (for the first time) since there was no representative to be found in the area of the cash register, where I always order and scan my card. So, not only was the order wrong….. again….. but I missed out on having the sale recorded on my Panera account for a discount of future purchases.

I’ve been a loyal Panera customer for decades, but I have to say that I don’t plan to patronize Panera any more, certainly not at the Clemmons, NC location. Four mistakes in a row is beyond what I’m willing to tolerate. I’m sure I could have made a second trip back there to correct the first three mistakes, but frankly, I should not have to do that. It should be correct when the order comes out. I also should not have to take the entire order out of the bag and dig through the salad to make sure everything is in there. By the way, after the incident of the missing strawberries, the next time I ordered that same salad, at that same location, I mentioned that there were no strawberries on the last salad I’d ordered, and asked if they would be on there this time. (There might have been a strawberry shortage that I didn’t know about, so I was just checking.) I was told, very rudely, that “Of COURSE there will be strawberries on it.” And there were…..there was just no dressing that time.

My hope is that you can and will do something to improve on the performance of this location. The food is very good there, but getting a correct order is a real challenge. I imagine I’m not the only person who is dissatisfied with Panera. I gave this location a scathing review on Trip Advisor.

Panera Bread Bruce the manager of Concord Pike in Wilmington Delaware has requested that two elderly people to not ever returned to Concord store.

September 2022 an employee named Bruce asked my elderly friends to never

to return to Paneras. My friends are at Paneras almost every day. Especially, during covid. My friend, Jack has dementia. Jack is a veteran of Korean war and is 93 years old. He has good and bad moments. He is in fourth stage of leukemia. His wife, Joanne is in fourth stage of breast cancer.

Jack peed in the sink of the men's room. I do not know what he was thinking. Maybe he thought it was a urinal. However; I believe Bruce should not have told them to never come back.

This is Alzheimer's month. You should have Bruce read about people with this

disease. Here is Jack with both hands behind his back and 93. Go and take

your best shot. Bruce manage to break their spirits.
