I have just got an employment offer from Caltex Oil UK in which they want me to spend the money for visa processing by myself and it will be reimbursed later..they have also asked me if I can make a contact with one of the visas immigration consultant to initiate the procedure...Salary range I have been offered is too high ..I believe its certainly a scam...Its just to make u guys aware of the things which are going on very frequently these days...

This is a scam eMail, NOT a genuine job offer. There are a few giveaways with this:

1) You are asked to respond to Live Mail and Hotmail eMail addresses. If this came from the HR department at Petronas, all return addresses would be corporate, with the company's domain name.

2) They are asking you for Visa information. This is personal information which you would NEVER be asked for in an introductory eMail by any reputable organisation.

3) As much as you would like to believe it, no-one gets offered a job with a top petrochemical company via eMail. You would have to sit at least one (maybe 2) interviews and go through a formal selection process, which would most likely take weeks.

Delete the eMail, block the sender, and forget all about it.

i couldn't believe how I got treated rudely by your unprofessional and bad attitude staff at PETRONAS Jalan Kebudayaan, Taman Universiti. He could have talked nicely, but well, he chose to talk in the way that would piss everybody off. The service I experienced here was so different from any other outlet I'd visited.

I was driving from ll to Kuala Trengganu and i atop at petronas kerteh 2,

I was surprised that the mesra mart was close and i can see 4 person that was on the job, why was it close?

Is it a common practice by petronas because it was open 24/7 in kl.

And now i cant even buy water for iftar
