At approximately 11:00 AM on 10/04/21 I was waiting in the middle checkout line. As usual, the store had only one non-self service line open. The cashier carried on a lengthy gossip exchange with the customer in front of me while the customer in front of her was trying to check out, unsuccessfully fumbling through a handful of cards, obviously unable to...

Pick 'N Save Gift card

My mother-in-law purchased a Pick n save gift card through my child's Scripp account what is now probably several years ago. We are able to log into our Scripp account and see the card and the balance on it of $364.93 but the card has been lost a long time ago and I have been trying to recover this balance ever since. I have the card number and, like I said, can see the balance on the scripp website that is current but cannot use it because the physical card was lost. Unfortunately I didn't know that I would need the pin to use it electronically so I didn't write it down before it was lost. Now, the balance just sits there and I cannot recover it no matter how many times I have contacted Pick N Save. The Scripp people have also tried for us several times with no resolution.

Desired outcome: Access to the $364.93 either electronically or a new physical card

Pick 'N Save Discriminated Against

October 7th, 2021

To Whom It May Concern:

I was a frequent patient at Pick ‘N Save Pharmacy at 6700 West National Avenue, West Allis, WI. On Wednesday October 6, 2021 I went in to pick up medication that had been filled that day. Employee, assuming Pharmacy Technician, by the name of Sandy briefly conversed with me while I was waiting to pay for my medication. As I mentioned to her that I had to go to the Deli Department to pick my Chicken that I had ordered, she straightforwardly stated afterwards "So, are you gonna pick your watermelon too…?" Stunned and very, very Surprised, I asked her why she would say that to me. She responded with a "What" and then continued to act like there wasn't a problem with what she stated to me. At this time, the Pharmacist "Lin" (Or could be spelled "Lynn" - which is by the way is Non-White) who was standing right by her not no more than inches heard what she said. But, she didn't say anything.

I am disabled under disability that suffer from major depressive disorder (mmd), psychosis, schizophrenia, anxiety disorder, and bipolar. I am having a very hard time balancing my emotions since this happened. I'm also under the care of my primary care case worker, therapist, psychiatrist, and peer support. My support team has been notified that this particular occurrence happened and it was advised to me that I file a complaint as soon as possible. I believe, as a patient, my civil rights were indeed violated along with my rights within my general health. Every day I think about what that woman said to me and ask myself why she said it. I never ever had a problem with any other employees at this pharmacy since joining years ago. I also believe my support team is going to have to adjust my medication accordingly due to my current state of mind. I don't feel like I belong or even feel worthy in life for that sake. This should not of happen to me at all.

Pick 'N Save Produce

The Pick N Save in Franklin, WI on Lover's Lane FREQUENTLY has completely expired produce. There is also a lot of mold on various fruits and vegetables. I had to go to a different store entirely for cherry tomatoes because every carton had visible white mold on the tomatoes. It was clear from several feet back and the staff just leaves it out anyways for the entire week. Its disgusting. I also bough two cartons of blackberries recently that when opening them had mold all over. This is absolutely unacceptable. There have also been other times I was looking for lettuce and couldn't buy any because every carton on the shelf was actively expired. This has been going on for a long time. There needs to be some quality control going on I should have to pick through a carton of produce to make sure theres not mold on it before buying. The staff needs to be not putting moldy food out and taking the time to remove it from the shelf if that does happen.

Desired outcome: Quality Control

My fiance went to your location on 76th to finally get the covid shot and while waiting the lady there that was giving him is shot went alittle too far with the flirting. He had a 10am appointment and is handsome he get this a lot but for this last to be talking about the size of her butt and he sisters and to say see what I'm talking about also her trip to Miami and talking about the fake butts. Then asked how many kids he had and when he said 7 she said that's too many kids for her to take care of and she has a lot of money. Do something about this. Aug. 14th at 10am I booked his appointment.

Pick 'N Save Customer service

August 12, 2021. I was checking out at Spring Street stores this morning and did not realize it was card only. When assistance came she pointed out it was card only. I apologized but another associated there very rudely commented on my reading ability and also pointed out there was a sign. I have been shopping at Pick & Save for over 40 years. I would like to continue but it this is the treatment I receive I will be going elsewhere.

Pick 'N Save several - you name it.

Our Pick'n Save stores throughout WI were sold by Roundy's to Kroger. Shortly after the sale I started to notice a total decline in the stores, availability of course it is Kroger brand, therefore, everything had to be moved to Kroger's liking and finding anything was well very time consuming. I notice the negative change in every store I went into. I was in fact used to the pride and cleanliness that was Roundy's for many many years and well a person comes to expect that. The store I frequent most as it is close is at 1220 W. Sunset in Waukesha. Following are some recent examples within the past month and except for tonights experience the general store manager was made aware of them. He of course effectively called me a liar and said he only ever gets compliments on his store and he could have cared less. I told him as I am telling everyone now, if it weren't for the fact that this store has a salad bar and the closest Sentry does not I wouldn't set foot in this store. I will list out my concerns some are more concerning than others:

I was used to Roundy's breaking up a large packet of dinner rolls as I can freeze them but it is just the two of us and I prefer not to. They now refuse even if there is an empty slot in the cabinet, they say we can not do that corporate orders, we do not even have a code for that.

In general employees seem totally disgusted with their jobs. I am a small business owner and as such hire people and deal with everyone wanting to start at the top and work there way up and the lack of work ethic in todays times, but that doesn't seem to be it at Pick n save now.

I had wanted a $50 bill at the customer service desk rather than 2 twenties and a 10. The representative say about 28 without checking said curtly we don't have any. I asked if she could check she said I don't have to I know we don't have any, I asked if the checkouts might have one, she said no all of our money goes to the bank. I said in 5 minutes, I said lots of people pay cash for their groceries and lots of them, finally she said "WE ARE NOT A BANK". Very loud and very rude. I went to Target and they were very accomadating and willing to help.

Then there are the check out lines. Between 5 and 6 pm. One line open and everyone else standing around babysitting the self check outs. Now I am 60. I get today's generation is very happy with that concept. But I am not and neither are pregnant women and families with small children. I feel very strong that if I am going to do all the work and some lazy no good is going to stand and watch that there should be something off my grocery bill or I should be put on the payroll. One particular night that is what was happening, two guys were watching the bannanas grow and everyone else was talking amongst themselves. I went to customer service and asked if they could open another line, well you would have thought I had asked them to open the safe. They did it but not without grumbling.

That same day I noticed how filthy the frozen vegetable fixtures were, open bags vegetables all over the bottom, fairly bare, dirt, all this in a store that what has been remodeled for maybe a year.

So the day I called the manager was after the night I bot a salad at the salad bar and wound up eating plastic. It made me gag, but I told myself it was the plastic from the lettuce and was thankful I hadn't served that portion to Jerry, well at least he didn't say anything.

So tonight, well today. Having looked at the totally dark and wilted lettuce at the salad bar, common place for that store, I decided to get the fixings from the salad bar and buy a head of organic lettuce as our main course was BLT's, get it bacon tomatoe and lettuce. I opened up the organic head and the bulk of it was dark brown and black. I salvaged about 4 pieces out of the entire so that we could each have one sandwhich. That is going back tomorrow for a refund, the head of lettuce was not that expensive but it scared me and had I had something else planned I wouldn't have threw it in a corner. Jerry is 64 and up on a hot roof every day in construction. I was thinking of a cooler sandwhich for him.

I think the manager's name is Matt, I will likely as for him tomorrow. When I ate the plastic he was unconcerned and didn't offer to reimburse the $9.00 for the salad. I had no intention of writing but the lettuce tonight was enough. I will likely call customer service as well tomorrow. I hope you take this all seriously. Or do you wait until someone gets sick. I once ran into someone that told me how much money the ceo and his wife spent on wine. None of my business, but when the quality that they are providing to the public is one step about dirty off brand heavily trafficked grocery it does make you take pause. Without customers he wouldn't be buying all that wine.

Pick 'N Save service

Went to Pick n' Save Pharmacy, called at 9 and was told 2 prescriptions was ready but if I could wait until 11 as they were upgrading their computers, soooooooo I gave them extra time and went at 12:30, was told only 1 was ready and could I give them another 10 minutes, I said not really but what choice do I have, then checked out my groceries and was handed my receipt without my change, I said excuse me but I do get $6.02 back, I thought Roundy's was bad but now it is much worse. There was 10 people trying to check out with 2 lanes open, me with my little (loud) voice said so all could hear "This is exactly why I shop out of town!"

The fruits in the pic n save at Pilgrim & Mequon rd. Is very poor. I had complain numerous times and the problems are still thete. Rotten fruit, mislabeled fruit, fruit in wrong bins, fruit in bins that shows no info on price, bad green pepper, the list go on and on. I don't know how many people I have to talk to. Today I even talked to an assistant managet. Everyone says they will talk to the manager tomorrow but nothing is done. So maybe it's the manager
I have been to pick n save stored for years, but this is deplorable. Please do something or I will have to call in the food inspector.

who do you complain to, if the manager of a pick and save has used a four letter word on a customer...can the upper management handle the situation or should I take it to the local T.V news station and talk to a reporter?! How does one email the upper management ? Thanks for quick response !

Yes, they may implement whatever and in order for employees to keep their jobs they need to cooperate. However, that does not make it right. As someone else stated, it may be an only option for shopping and/or working. Employees should feel comfortable in what they are wearing in order to work at their full potential. I really doubt dressing up like a big wig is comfortable. There is a way for someone to look nice without having to dress like they belong on Wall Street. The focus shouldn't be the employee dress code anyhow, it should be customer satisfaction. In order for the customers to receive the best experience while shopping, the employees need to feel good about themselves and what they are wearing. And the inside of the store with checkout lines etc. needs to be rethought out. More satisfied customers won't come from dressing up. It will come from hiring more people to work as cashiers etc.

Wow you got to be kidding me. You telling me that no one in the upper management at Pick and Save has anything better to do with there time and money but come up with this outrageous dress code for there employees. What next you going to make me wear a stupid suit and tie to shop there. Get your head out of your back sides and worry about making better prices for the shoppers, Instead of worrying about what your employees wear. They are suppose to be happy to come to work not embarrassed.

Mr. LoveFist: Easy to have all the answers, isn't it. You really don't have any comprehension of the issue -- when you live in a very remote, low populated area where jobs are slim to nill and mostly temporary, options are few. Not many options for shopping either unless you want to drive 40 miles one way. Do not dismiss our thoughts unless you know the whole situation.

I agree 100%! Women spend most of their life trying to cover up their bellies after having children. At Pick’n Save those same women are supposed to show off their bubbling bellies to the whole world in the most unflattering way possible – by tucking a bright white shirt into black dress pants and accentuating it all with a man’s tie. I feel sorry for them. It’s a shame to have a mature woman have to dress up like a fat man. Some women were wearing three shirts, one under the white shirt to cover the see through white shirt, plus a sweater or blazer to cover the belly fat. It had to be a man who made this cruel and ridiculous decision.

The wearing of loose ties while working over a conveyor belt doesn't seem like a very good decision either -- no clip-on ties allowed! How long before someone gets hurt? Those stocking the shelves also look ridiculous crawling on the floor in dress pants. They all walk around with huge piles of dust on their dress pants. How many pairs of pants will they have to purchase during a year? Dress pants aren’t meant for crawling on the floor. The knees will wear through in very, very short order. How much money are they going to put out each year for new dress pants?

Unfortunately this is not making the stores look more professional, but making the employees look foolish and uncomfortable. And on top of all that, the employees have to pay to look foolish and uncomfortable out of their pocket while their pay rates are just above minimum wage. They don’t offer a uniform allowance or give them new uniform pieces as needed. Employees will not benefit at all from this new policy. Pick’n Save is only worried about their bottom line and not about the employees who are already struggling with low wages. I think I’ll shop elsewhere.

Pick 'N Save False accusations

I bought one of those tv ad products the kymara body shaper at Pick'n Save but the size was wrong. I needed to do some grocery shopping so I brought the item along with my receipt with the intent to exchange it for a different size but they didn't have my size. After checking out, I went to the service desk to return the item (with a receipt) and the lady gave me a dirty look. She didn't say anything to me and just picked up the phone and I heard her ask the other person to check the security cameras to see if I had stolen the item. Really, I mean come on, I had a receipt and everything. After the person on the other line said go ahead and honor the return, she had the audacity to say to me "it looks kind of fishy". FISHY?, does a receipt not imply that I purchased an item, is it not sufficient evidence. Maybe we need lie detector test, finger printing, blood test, dna. It's totally ridiculous to come out of left field with this idea that I'm trying to scam the store. Maybe the mean lady had experience pulling off scams, or why even accuse me of doing something like that with no provocation. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years shopping at the store, so why in the world would I try to steal something worth a measly $30. I guess this is what customer loyalty gets you nowadays...well I say NO THANKS!

They refused to honor a kroger digital coupon for their own kroger/roundy's product which I clipped from their own ad page.

IF they never stock the items offered in the ads/digital coupon sites, they should NOT be offered!
