Total sports the Glen mall
Hi.
Today I went to the Glen mall, total sports. The sneaker I want was advertised for R750, when I wanted to buy it, they said it's R1000. KG was very rude and just walked away without further explanation when I told him that the consumer protection act stipulates that misleading advertised pricing, such as this case dictates that I should get the product at the advertised price. I still want the sneaker and an apology for him being rude to me. I took pictures of the advertised shoe. May I please get assistance. Consumer protection act section 23 (2) states: "If a supplier has advertised or displayed a price for any goods or services, that price shall be deemed to be an offer to sell those goods or services at that price."
May you please provide training to KG, as he is rude and he shouldn't assume that I speak vernac. Business language is English, so that's the first language one should approach a customer with. I've attached the way the shoe was advertised when I saw it.
Desired outcome: I would like the sneaker in size 6 for R749.95 as stated.

Puma takkies
I bought a new puma takkies last year November 10th,i wore them few times, last months i realized that they had tears on top and on the side, i went to the sneaker factory store were i bought them, they said i should bring them with me, i did that today they said they can't help me since 6 months has passed and by the time i lodged my complaint they said it's fine i can bring them when i come back since i said moved and its far from the store

TFG harassing, and illegally billing me!
TFG is a nuisance and a scam !
From multiple annoying marketing calls a day to them adding on services to your bill that you did not approve! THIS IS A scam! I have been with TFG American Swiss for years, in September I was shopping at Jet and I was approached my service champions who advised me that my American cars is old and that I need a new card which I agreed to. Little did i know they are opening a whole new a TFG Jet account in addition to my TFG American Swiss account, not just changing my card! I let this slide. This morning I receive both my American Swiss TFG bill and a Jet TFG bill, there is additional services being charged to this account, funeral cover R55 and Legal gold R53. I did not approve these when the telemarketers called, I declined and blocked their number! This is a ****.

Good day. My name is Grace Maluleka On Monday the 14th of August 2023 I went to Foschini Mall of Africa to return an item I had bought at another Foschini (festival mall) and ended up getting the worst service ever. I bought the item of the 5th of August, yet I was refused service. I’m not gonna even mention the stank attitude I got from 3 staff members including the Assistant manager. I was told my skirt had a stain which is not true because I guess someone must have touched it and left food stains on it because the mark looked fresh. Bear in mind this is the 3rd incident I had gone through at this particular Foschini, those staffers are some of the rudest people I have ever met. How do you talk down on a customer and accuse them of wearing an item that was with me of only a few days, clean with a minor stain which I don’t know how it got there. The last time I had gone to this store, the girls kept talking in the background about how a particular jacket I was purchasing was not mine simply because it looked big as I was using a staff discount letter. I am truly disappointed in these workers because, me being in the same position as they are I know that it is our duty to treat customers with respect and dignity.

The foschini group charges interest without customer being aware of interest account selected at purchase
On Saturday 27 May, I noted the TFG, started charging me interest on my 6 m interest free option.
When I queried I was told I purchased a cell phone and it was the option selected. This was a blatant LIE from a huge company like this.
I advised them no cell phone was purchased. I was called back after they did some checks, they reverted to me in writing that they reversed the interest and telephonically it was an error on their side as the sales counter selected the 12m or 6 month interest option for a clothing purchase which was incorrect. This is actually a huge red flag as I am not entirely clear why the sales counter can select whichever option they see fit DESPITE ASKING which one we prefer. As a consumer I always state INTEREST FREE 6 months and I have on more than one occasion requested all other interest options be deactivated as I cannot see which one the counter agent is selecting when conclude a sale.
On the 27 May I again telephonically requested that the interest be immediately reversed and all INTEREST options to be deactivated on my account as I do not ever require an interest option on my TFG account.
I was called me back confirming all INTEREST BEARING options were deactivated.
When I went back to the store to make a purchase a few days later, the sales agent told me all interest options were on the system again, effectively meaning once again that when I purchase, DESPITE selecting 6m interest FREE, the agent can select the interest option which they actually do. This is sneaky.
This will be always be unbeknownst to me as the customer, because the the slip does not state which option is selected. We the customers are then charged interest! which is reflected on the statement later in the month. This is UNACCEPTABLE TACTICS.
I wrote a complaint to TFG and they once again confirmed all interest options were deactivated on my account, this was on the 7 June.
A week later on the 13 June, I purchased a cell phone online BASH, where I have a picture of the 6 m interest free was selected, but once again the statement shows I was charged INTEREST on this account. This is underhanded.
Desired outcome: I want the interest to be reversed.I want the interest bearing account to be deactivated as I do not need it and DONOT TRUST the sales agent will select the correct one
Online shopping
On the 7'th of June 2023 I have made an online purchase.
Garmin Instinct 2 on the Bash online shop of the TFG group.
I didn't receive the watch and made an enquiry. Bash customer services advice me that the item is suddenly out of stock.
They also advice a refund will take time, abt 10 working day's which is unacceptable. I'm not returning an item, I was misleaded to believe the item is in stock as per their website.
After another enquiry, they advice a form will be send to complete before the process start.
Why was that form not send previously?. Still didn't receive it. Why do the have specials on their site of stock they don't have?.
Desired outcome: Refund in 24hr
Customer service
I just bought a shapewear at Foschini and I couldn't fit it. I took it home and to fit and it was big I returned it to exchange for a smaller size. The pathetic customer service I've received from that manager Nobuntu is completely horrible. She first did not greet and secondly refused to exchange saying the return policy doesn't allowed to take it back. I've asked her to show me on the return policy where it was stated and she couldn't. I'm soo disappointed with the way she handled the situation

I paid my account at the fix in knysna on the 11th of March.the first payment didn't went through so paid another r500.i went to my bank and both payments went through but only 1 payment on my account.on the 23rd of May I send an email to headoffices.the staff in store send email too and told me to wait 10 days to get 1 payment back cause they not allowed to pay it to my account at the fix.i send several emails after 10 days until now and getting the same emails back that the problem is resolved but never received my money.i send them proof of payment of my bank statement that show the 2 payments went to the fix and only 1 payment who went to my the fix account. I am still waiting for r500 who went missing.if I didn't go ask in store and get a bank statement I'd never notice it.i would like to know where the 1 r500 went to I still didn't receive
My phone was stolen at a retail store
on the 25th of March 2023 my phone was stolen at a sports scene retail store at the Southdale mall between 11: and 12:30. when i noticed my phone was stolen I reported this to the security and went straight back to the cashiers where my phone was stolen. i asked them if there was any cameras at the service desk and the cashier said no. but there was a lady customer behind my doing a exchange jacket. when i asked for her details the cashier said that there was no details taken from but my details was taken and then I ask how did she do an exchange without signing the exchange policy and they said they never needed to but why did they do it with me.
Cellphone that went in for repairs and now nobody knows where it is
My complaint is with regards with my hisense e30 that went in for repairs around the month of august in middelburg eastern cape 5900. I was then told the phone is fixed and on it's way through out the entire time i have to go back and forth to the shoppromiseing to call me but never do. The manager of the store is very ignorant and only promises to check up on the phone once i call them and never comes back to me with an honest answer, her colleague once told me she never even calls them regarding my phone if im not infront of her. This has been going on now for months. I was then told the phone was delivered to a wrong store in bloem and the has not been any follow up done. She keeps blaming other stores and people but she is the one responsible for the phone. Please help

I will never signup for any insurance with TFG .. I was prematurely suspicious about the insurance cover they had presented to me over the phone. I probed a number of factors before signing up and was confidently assured how signing up is done for my best interests and i will not find any hustles, though i deep down i had a feeling this wont work in my favour. Today im going through so many reviews about the insurance claims how negatively affect customers over the services. I wish to have followed intuition and not signed up. Such humiliation and dishonor. Im even experiencing anxieties. Yoh 😥😥😥😭

to my suprise how can it sold out before Friday as it's advertised "Black Friday Sale".
I asked to speak to the 'Manager" she told me she's a Manager I asked are you sure the phone are sold out she said yes.
She didn't even go an extra mile to call other stores and find out if "they have the phone or not " and order for me, when I ask for her name, she ask what you are going to do with my name? I said thank you & closed the call.

Today I went the store I mentioned, I bought a t shirt, after paying the cashier told me that I won something on the number [protected], u kindly told the cashier I nolonger use that number, I asked him to update my new number on mmy rewards card, which he did.
I then ask if TFG will send another massage on the new number im using he said to me no coz they already sent to the number I'm nolonger using. So I said to him please call the head office for me to explain what happened he refused to do so. I was trying to buy right now at the Mall Of Africa Foschini store and they told me that my account is blocked.I have not received any communication concerning this matter or even a call claiming that my account has issues.
I pay my monthly installments in time, I haven't used the account for a while however this doesn't constitute closing or blocking it without communicating with me.
This will affect my credit score because this means that I am failing to handle my debts or credits.
Desired outcome: Unblock my account or kindly close it and i can pay it off by the 25th of July
defective goods and poor customer service
On the 5th of Feb 2022 I did an online purchase at Total sport. I received my order on the 16th of Feb 2022.Today I went to Total Sport Garden Route Mall as it reflects online to do so .I am absolutely disgusted by the service I received. I explained to the consultant my situation and Zayne one of the consultants
stated that I am lying and ripped my shoe. I asked them since they are saying I ripped it if they have a quality department that can determine if it has a factory fault. The store manager said no. TFG has a six's month quality guaranteed and I defnitely have not received quality.I have a pair of shoes less that 2 months old and did not get value for my money.I will be going to the consumers goods and service ombudsman ,because I did not get what I was promised.

Payment refund
I made a layby at Sportscene Mahlakung and when I went to payupon the 19 jan 2022 they were offline then they advised to pay at Relay Jeans I then went and pay the amount of R1399.95 which was my balance. I then went back to collect but they were still offline. I then went back on the 25 jan 2022 and when they checked the payment I made at Relay Jeans does not reflect on their system. I then went back to Relay Jeans to try and get my money back then they also said they are unable to refund because it says transaction not found on their system but the payment history and receipt show I paid and they promised to escalate the matter for help. I then decided to go pay another R1399.95 to release my layby and collect it on 25th Jan 2022. Until now I've been going to check on the refund for my money at Relay Jeans but they always tell me they are still waiting for respond on how to refund my money as they are unable to do it on the system because it gives error saying transaction not found. So my money is hanging somewhere in their system and they are unable to help me.

Service Complaint
My daughter arrived at 17:57 at the Foschini in Mossel Bay Mall on 10/02/2022. She opened the door and went inside. The staff told her to leave. She tried to explain that she was not planning on browsing, but actually already knew what she wanted, as we were travelling from Bredasdorp after visiting her grandmother who had a stroke. We just missed Foschini in Riversdale with 5 minutes, so we had to drive to Mossel Bay as they only close at 18:00.
They refused to assist her, stating that they have already cashed up for the day and they just waved her away. After parking the car, I arrived at exactly 18:00 and did not notice my daughter in the shop. She then came from another shop, and told me that Foschini would not help her, even though she was inside the shop. I called one of the gentleman working there and asked him through the door to please just assist us, and I pointed to the sweatpants she wanted to buy. But he just tapped on his watch, ignoring my plea.
My daughter left in tears and heartbroken, since we were on time, and we already planned what she was going to pick in the shop so as not to waste any time. A consultant from one of the shops next to Foschini came past expressing her disgust, as she confirmed that Foschini closed early, since their own shop also closed early for the day.
I was truly disgusted with the service and will never set foot in your shop again. My teenager daughter's class was all wearing the same sweatpants and T-shirt this morning, except her.
Desired outcome: An apology to my daughter for treating her with disrespect.

I bought a pair of vans for my son, kept them until the 16th and realized the shoes are small. Tried to return the sneakers on the 17th and the manager in charge refused to exchange for he said the shoes a being worn, my son didn't even walk a distance with the sneakers... Then the guy at Rustenburg mall refused to assist me... I need to know will I be sitting with the shoes that doesn't fit my son... Does my money went down the drain. I don't need cash back, just love the sneakers, only needs a bigger size... Pls assist as I'm not happy with the service I got... Still sitting with the sneakers at home

Cellphone Repair
Am filing a complaint on behalf of Linda Lydia Sigula, she purchased a cellphone BOOST ULTRA IMEI [protected] for my son her grandchild on the 14 March 2021, the device stopped working a per my son 18yrs old so I took it to Greenacres Foschini on the 6 July 2021 and I was told it will take 4 weeks for the turnaround . On the 8 August 2021 I went to the store to find out the outcome and I was told it was not back at the store so I enquire the next step so I was told they will do a follow up and nothing was done, I went back to the store 2 weeks after and I was told the sales assistant no longer works in that store so I refered now to a second sales consultant she made copies of my paperwork and promised to call me as soon she finds out what is happening. A week passed still waiting I then went back to the store and by now the device hasnt been back for 2 full months with no feedback. I went back to the store and the second assistant told me the IMEI or Track number she couldnt find it I then asked her to bring the courier books so I can assist so we searched together and picked up the device, so she promised me a callback in which in this case she did call me telling me the device fault was not under warranty so I asked her if its possible to do an insurance claim because my son needs the device urgently I dont mind paying the excess fee, she then informed me that I had to pay a certain fee for the inhouse repair to send it back I then went ballistic I work for a Network and I told her no such thing the insurance is there to cover for the out of warranty issues why is it now I must pay while am paying for a full 2 MONTHS without the device and it was not communicated when the purchase was done nor when I brought the device in . Am disappointed for such a service am still paying the insurance for a device that is not with us. I can only attach the necessary docs during the week but an email was sent to a Serisha, Keith and Fusi from the store no response from these 3 individuals for the past 5 months am paying for a device that is somewhere where I also dont know

Hi there. I recently went shopping at one oc your shops and did not like the way I was treated .I was treated as if I were a thief about to steal something! I did not appreciate the way they took my item from my hand and told me I will get it when I pay?! Poor customer service at best.
Returned purchases

i have purchased items on TFG online on 29 September 2021. the items were delivered and one item i had to return to the store.
i have done online purchases throughout this year as it is convieniant to do so. With this particular purchase, i had to return one item and was told by the store manager Danielle Machem, of Foschini Zevenwaght, that this will be the last time that i can return a purchase that they do not stock. I asked her whether this was an internal choice or whether this was copied by the TFG T&C's. she said that it was a general rule.
When you purchase an item online, it states that it can be returned to any branch of the TFGF group. In early September 2021, i have done online purchases and had to return them due to size, i went to Zevenwaght Fochini as they are the closest branch to me to return an item. They took the items and simply couried it, to their Tygervally branch.
i do online purchases as it is convieniant to do so, and i prefer taking the returns to the store as i would then have immediate assurance that the item would be returned and my account would reflect this. i explained to Danielle Machem, the only reason why i go to their branch, is because that it is closest to me.
i need someone to tell me whether the above stated by her with regards to the returned purchases is a practise for the TFG group as a whole or is this some other matter.
Why have online purchases for convieniance and when the customer wants to return or even exchange, it is said that it cannot be done. But my credit is good to purchase online.
Desired outcome: i need to know whether this is a standard practise and if so, i will simply no longer purchase from any of the TFG group retailers and will close my account.
Disrespect
I bought a phone at the fix Westgate sales person precious and the other guy Themba gave me lied about features of the phone I returned it. I got bad customer service and even they were swearing me infront of their manager the casual guy even said I'm ugly and they need to teach me how to dress I am taking this to hello Peter I've never been disrespected this much while I paid my money and they were insulting me right in front of other customers. They even organised other guys to come gang up on me. I am sorry but this needs to be taken forward I'm not even enjoying a phone I bought when I look at it I feel like throwing it down it brings back the anger
