I got this app cause I have a hard time reading sometimes but I LOVE books. I had listens to a few stories and it was cool, they were nice and I only had an issue with one, but that was cause I didn’t like the person reading it.
But I’ve deleted the app. I gave it a one cause I can’t give it a zero, and for that moment I did REALY enjoy it.
But I found a story that I thought would be interesting, started listening to it and it sounded really familiar. As if I had already read the book or listened to it somewhere else so I continued to listen and think about it. Maybe my head was playing tricks on me like Deja vu or something. But I got to the FOURTH chapter when I realized this was a near copy of the plot to a manga I had read a while ago.
These stupid people copied someone else’s work and changed the words around a little. The characters names were different but they were basic replicas of the other stories characters. The plot was almost exactly identical to each other. The main characters met the same way, I went ahead to listen to a few chapters and they gave the same thing happening there as well.
Gonna sound weird for a second because I like scy-fi, mythical, shapeshifter stories, but it’s about a girl who gets transported from her world to another. One where beast men inhabit the world. She’s being chased BY WOLVES and saved by A FREAKING PANTHER! Who then calls her the most BEAUTIFUL girl in the area, the he takes her back to his village. LATER they end up enemies to some ape king who is in love with a mermaid woman and is trying to take over the world for her.

I wish I could report the story for plagiarize, but I can’t find that there so I’m saying it here.
This app has plagiarized stories, if your okay with that get the app, but if you don’t like to read things like that here is advice, DON’T download the app. Cause if there’s this story that that has plagiarized a big manga like this one they copied then I’m sure they have more on here.
For the creator, I don’t know it’s just my personal opinion, but if your cool with people copping work on your app, I get it it makes money. Just keep it hard to find the report button.

I am severely, extremely disappointed and frustrated. When I first got this app, this summer, I decided to sign up for the $9.99 package per month rather than paying $59.99 all at once, which was $4.99 a month. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, and if I did, I was going to change my package. I’m not rich by any means, but if it would have been worth it, I would have paid the larger sum for a year. Mind you, this was for UNLIMITED EPISODES AND LISTENING. Well… about a month ago, I was listening very often at this point, I got back on and things had changed. It wanted me to pay $14.99 for 180 coins. $9.99 was now for only 80 coins. Each episode is 2 coins to unlock. I’ve paid for manga online that’s cheaper than this, and it was expensive. I could go buy an entire audiobook for cheaper! That adds up FAST. So I decided to give it a try, because there was one story I was very invested in, and I was going to quit after finishing it. (It’s still coming out with episodes) To my dismay, I COULD NOT just buy the new episodes. Nor could I buy ONE AT A TIME. The minimum I found that I could buy at a time were 30 episodes. It was wanting me to pay for 60-80 at one time. From episode ONE, EPISODES THAT I HAD ALREADY LISTENED TO. I was already paying this app, it’s not like I listened for free. But to be able to listen to the new episodes and continue the story, WHICH IS 168 EPISODES SO FAR, TWO COINS PER EPISODE…. I would have to spend a fortune. WHO CAN AFFORD THIS?! I’m not one to leave a review or act like something is too expensive, I always want to support authors and hard work. But this takes the cake. This is absurd and ridiculous. It’s a complete ripoff. Even if they went up on their price, couldn’t they at LEAST make it to where their already paying customers could continue the stories they were listening to?!?! But no, I have to pay for the ENTIRE STORY, that I have already paid for and listened to. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose many, many customers and listeners over this. I’m so extremely disappointed and frustrated. Now I may never know what happens in the amazing story I was listening to. Please fix this, at LEAST make it to where we can pick and choose which episodes we want to pay for. Thank you.

So I previously comment saying that some of the stories that I read had disappeared without anyone telling us what happen. Well today while I was looking I found one of the stories that I was missing after weeks of not seeing it on the app. And it’s not like I didn’t search for it because I remember the name but I search for it but never popped up during the time it was gone. I’m still missing another story which was love you superstar in the English version. I would like to see that come back so that I can finish it at least even if it’s an incomplete story. Update July 29: OK so it’s been a whole year now and the app has indeed improved a lot more after my initial comment when I first started using this app. First off they fixed one of my problems that I had which was some of our stories disappearing without an explanation. They have fixed this problem. Another thing that they have fixed was the subscription option to be able to listen to all of our stories without ads and without having to wait and it not actually working for some of us. Now it’s a coin base subscription where you just pay for how many chapters you wanna read for which ever book you choose, which I’m actually glad for because it’s much cheaper and we have actual get payment options which is even better. The only reason why I’m not giving it a full five stars is because there’s still a few thing that they still need to fix which is either editing or finishing off stories that have been on hiatus for way too long. There are some stories that have chapters that have been repeated with chapters we’ve already read that has not been fixed. Another major one is that a lot of us prefer to have one narrator for the whole story instead of you guys not telling us ahead of time that you’re changing narrators. As well as gaps or like information that we didn’t know of being missing in the story that we need more of a context on. But I see they are taking our advice and I’ve seen that one of the stories that I’ve read which is the “The lost Princess”now called “The forgotten princess” is being Re-released and it has a different narrator which was one of the main complaints about that story. My comment for this is that I hope that they finish the story because it is also a story that never got a proper ending. So keep up the good work
