I purchased a ticket for my husband on March 24th 2023 for travel on Apr. 23rd 2023. My credit card was compromised on or around Apr. 1st. I had to cancel my card and get a new one. The ticket purchased was paid for without an issue. When my husband arrived at the airport he was told Porter Air would have to refund the price of the ticket and he would have to pay for it again (ridiculous). He said no problem and took out his credit card to pay for it and was told they would not accept a credit card...only prepaid debit (ridiculous). When he went to get the prepaid debit he was told that it would take an hour for the money to go onto the debit card and there was no time before the flight. At this point he said i have cash and they said they would not accept cash...I called my credit card company and was told there is absolutely NO reason not to accept another credit card. Customer service with Porter needs major help...unacceptable!

I was booked on Porter airlines on Monday March 20, 2023 from Timmins to Ottawa. The name on the ticket is Stella Kiokee-Koostachin.
After i encountered many un-evidable problems that morning with alot of mishaps and with parking in front of airport which was completely full, i got inside the terminal at 11:03 a.m to check for my 11:40 am flight. Ticket agents were already gone. I stood around for several minutes and observed that Security line up was still long as passengers were still checking through the security gate. I went over to the security desk and asked Security if he knew where the agents where and he looked around and said ticket counter must be closed but advised to stand in front of counter so agents would see me. As i stood by the counter, i noticed and flagged my colleague who had already gone through the checked security area, to pick up her phone, and asked her to go ask the agent who was on other side, she looked over at me then nodded her head "no" and told my colleague that counter is now closed, she advised colleague that agents would be back after porter leaves. I asked my colleague to ask her if i can reschedule or find out next available flight but colleague was advised again that agents would be at counter after plane left.
I was upset as i had training the following morning in Ottawa so with no other option and unable to get questions or answers on what time is the next flight to ottawa is, i decided to have the long 9+ hour drive to ottawa as I did not want to stick around for 35-45 minutes for agents to come back to the counter.
Similiar situation in January where i witnessed a non native person ran into airport as plane was called for boarding. security ran to get ticket agent who came out and ran to the counter to assist her in getting on. by the time she was going through security, passengers were already waiting inside the plane. I wonder if it was the color of my skin for the agents to say no. I could have gotten on the plane if the agent had come over. she could have asked why i was a little late in checking in? the agents did not want to take time to assist me but left me standing by the counter with no courtesy of assisting me.
I have asked my supervisor to connect with porter regarding my ticket which was not used. I drove to North Bay and had to hop on with a colleague who waited for me there to drive to Ottawa. Same route as coming back.
We, at Nan Legal Services, utilize and travel with porter alot. We have supported porter by utilizing their airlines and find they have a great service but after March 20, 2023 at Timmins Counter, i have different opinions now. It may just be just this one agent? i don't know but i am not too happy with not getting some assistance. I would like some feedback to my complaint.

I booked this flight in correspondence with the maritime bus (leaving at 4:50pm). Due to the delays- plane did not show up on time in St.john's cause us to be delayed. Due to this the bus left before I landed and now I have no way of getting to my destination (Moncton, NB) until Monday morning Jan.6th.
I spoke with the porter airlines in person and on the phone to see if they could help put me in a hotel for the night but the lady was very rude and wouldn't call the manager for me.
I would have never missed the bus if it wasn't for porters delayed flight and now I am stuck in this city no where to go.
I always fly with porter and I fly 3-5 times a year. I will not be choosing porter anymore. Customer service was miserable and it's sad that I can't get any help from you guys.

I have had more than enough of Porter and unless there are substantial efforts to correct the current situation, I will never go on another flight with them and will urge everyone I know to do the same.
I have made a mistake in the dates for a round-trip flight from Montreal to New York (and that's on me), however what's unacceptable is that changing dates would cost more than the actual flight price, even after applying their laughable "credit". Not only that, canceling the flight would end up with me being charged instead of given a reimbursement/rebate! I understand the need to apply fees in this kind of situation, but they should be next to none considering I've booked this flight over two months in advance.
This isn't the first time Porter has shown their utter inability to cooperate with customers. On a past flight in May, a plane leaving from Toronto to Montreal was delayed by over six hours and I was told by the staff that I would get a compensation - something I've yet to receive.
I want my current flight to either be cancelled and refunded completely, as there have been absolutely zero cost from Porter's part, or to have the ability to change dates without paying a penny more than the difference in flight cost.
