check cashing service
Every friday literally every friday a handfull of people and i come into the publix on,
2038 U.S. 98, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. We come in to cash our checks some of us for years now some of us months. Yet they always act suprised and and upset about it, and today which has not been the first time after only cashing a couple checks they turned the rest of us a way and said no more checks today. They should be more prepared i wont be able to make it home today after work because it dont have gas money, i was counting on cashing my check. And most of us wont get to est lunch today. I know you guys are a grocery store not just a check cashing place but if its been the same every friday for months and years then they should be ready every friday
food from the deli
Good afternoon,
As the parents and I fed the kids today at a picnic to get all the band and color guard kids together. I noticed that there was feathers on one of the pieces of chicken. It was disgusting.
We ended throwing away all the chicken away because we where grossed out. We bought 8 boxes of this chicken.. This is not the first time that this happens to us.
Sincerely
Hutagalung
fried chicken 8 piece. also, chicken fingers
I dont know why i continue to purchase these items. After consuming these items myself and several other have become uncomfortabley sick for 2 days. It turns your stomach inside and out. Even causing me ti miss work from the pain. Yesterday, I made the mistake of giving you one more try. My mistake again. I have been sick all day unable to leave the house. Others who are all the same symptoms. Im sure you have heard this before. I will be getting from another store and if im there i might as well get my other groceries as well. Im sorry publix but this cost you a loyal customer. This experience Cost me my weekend and 2 days of work.
avs
I worked at 1006 and I was told to do my AVS survey and for the first time in my 25 I was told to do mine separately from everyone else and on a certain date and time away from all cameras. I thought it was odd and I asked my friend if who was my co worker she told me she was never and even told to do hers? Wow Publix has really changed. I have a EEOC case against the store but should that stop me from voicing my true opinion? As a produce manager I got 2 perfect 100 scores on every question at 2 different locations and would think that my honest opinion could make changes in a store that Needs change badly...But I guess when your wife is a District Manager anything goes. See ya all in Court:)
new islamorada, fl bakery staff
Hello,
we just finally had a chance to visit our new Islamorada, FL Publix location!
However, our experience was a huge disappointment as we visited Bakery counter!
Anastasia is the person that was behind the counter and was extremely rude, disrespectful, did not understand anything we were asking her in both English and Russian! She was rude toward our children trying to ask her for cookies!
Let me tell you that I go to Publix to bakery for a single reason of buying my favorite French Hamburger buns! There was only ONE bag of those and when my husband asked Anastasia if there is more, she gave him a look like 'do I look like I work here?" I have tried asking her however she refused to even look toward customers!
She should not work with Customers with her ZERO people communication skills and most importantly a will to work and be successful! I do not know maybe she is an excellent baker?! Then she should be baking without customer contact!
We do have complements for the way customer appreciation game went! That was a lot of fun for us and our children! Also, other department heads and the new manager were polite and pleasant! We love the new Aqua Columbia 'uniform' for your dep heads! please think of Pharmacy department as she needs to wear a white over so maybe white shirt for her?
customer service
I just visited the Publix location off Bethany Bend and received the worst costumer service from not only the employees working at the deli but also the cashier. The cashier threw my bag and dropped my change in my hand as if she was too good to touch me. The employees at the deli were extremely slow and failed to acknowledge me. I literally stood in line waiting for about 15 minutes.
i'm complaining about the way my mother gets treated by her bakery manager
My mother is in her 60's and diabetic most of her 8 hour shifts a week turn in to 10 and 12 hour shifts with no lunch, because he keeps finding thing for her to do and will not let her leave or take breaks until he leaves. I'm very worried about her health being diabetic, her manager know of her health problems and still does it. I can't go to he directly because it will just make harder on her. In addition I've heard him make comments regard to her age that many I've talked to have said it sounds like ageism because she doesn't move as fast as she once did.
nasty people/a lot of no stock on shelves during sales
store #1321, its my closest store but for years now have to go accross town for several reasons, A- things on sale-shelf ALWAYS empty, two for one beers, have had three rain checks in pocket because they only have one? today thought i would try them again, stood at meat counter, 5people making sandwiches, one person looked out corner of his eye, NO HI
employee cortesia france
She's rude as hell EVERYTIME I enter the Publix at 34 Miller street winston Salem NC 27104 this [censored] has an attitude out of this world, she acts as if she doesn't want to be there she's always on her phone and she always seem to have an attitude while making my sub. On May 16, 2018 I came in for my sub and of course she gave me her [censored] to kiss standing there on her phone before serving me, as I walked off I heard her say to employee "[censored] her" relating it to me because of the attitude I gave her for the attitude she gave me this is not my first encounter with her something needs to be done FAST or if I have to come back into this place I'll handle the situation differently! I love shopping and eating here but as long as she there you have lost a customer.
customers service
I am a shopper that visits the Publix store on Griffen Rd. And Kathleen rd. My family and i go into that store a few times a day. And the costumer service desk must have a big problem with us. They see my family and i entering the store and will leave the desk to come follow us as soon as they see us. The main ones are Dawn Ruth. She must think we are doing something. And there is a lasy name Charlene she has rolled her eyes and stood there pointing at me and my 3 kids. She even called John the manager on the speaker to pick up in the bakery and he will watch and stear at us. And there is another lady im not 99% sure her name. But she is a small black lady and she is the first one we had the problem with. Keep in mind the see one that will follow us through the store. I brought it to the attention to some of the workers at that store to see what was going on and they agreed that there is a problem. We love publix but because of this we will not be shopping with Publix anymore. Ask Jordan in the bakery. She saw it going on again so i think we need to let you know to deal with the petty people working for you. But im sure im wasting my time. Nothing will be done
Ask the workers we have a good relationship with alot of your employees. But because your employees wanna act like that what ever.
Customer Service desk worker think the world wants to think everyone is trying to steal from there petty store... Get Real!
store #128 produce department management
While shopping in my neighborhood store in the past few weeks April and May 2018 I have noticed the produce manager on numerous occasions talking down to his workers. He berates them in front of customers. I am a Naval officer and I assure you a leader should never dress down their charges in earshot of others. I did bring it to the store managers attention but I did not feel he gave it any attention and pretty much. Brushed me off. Overall the management culture at that store seems to be top down and does not seem to foster a positive work environment for its associates.
I wanted to bring this to the corporate offices attention because I know many others in my communitybthst have experienced the same type events dealing with abusive and uninterested management.
I am writing hoping that this stores produce manager and store manager be given more training to elevate their leadership styles to actually stand for the Public values we have all come to expect.
Than you for taking these concerns under advisement and in the coming weeks myself and my friends will be looking for an improved culture at store #128 in the coming weeks and months.
Thank you.
Captain Jim Michaels
Dear Capt. Michaels, As a fellow Navy Officer I appreciate your concern for adequately trained managers. However, many of these managers are promoted based on nepotism and not management skills. It is highly likely that Publix only provides minimal manager training and very little, if any, employee management skills. Publix may soon go the way of K-Mart and other retailers who rely on nepotism for hiring and promotion selection. Good luck with your recommendations to Publix management.
bakery temperament
Bakery temperament as a manager Maytte she wasn't helpful with me with my order, she was rude and had a attitude against me, she had it at two probably gets everybody was walking to that store. He needs to be taught a lesson . Disrespecting a customer is the worst thing as a manager can do. And your store manager doesn't wanna do anything about it either but my complaint. I am so disappointed with that store 84.
too many donations
I have been shopping at Publix for 40 years. I am a very loyal customer. Publix is my favorite grocery store, but now the amount of donations collected is ridiculous. I get collecting money around Thanksgiving and Christmas. That's logical. However, trying to collect money for charities almost all year is simply annoying. Not to mention when you say you don't want to donate, your cashiers take it personally and have an attitude like it is coming out of their own pockets. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. I'm in Publix almost everyday.
rain check policy
I am a valued customer of Publix, and on 4/11/18 I asked for a raincheck for OJ 10 for 10. The young man that assisted me asked me how many i wanted, and I said 2 deals. He had no problem with it, but another guy came up and explained to him that he could only give me 10. On the raincheck, it clearly says that I can get deals that did not exceed 20 items which would have been 2 deals. I am not very argumentative so I just accepted it and left. I would like to know if I can get another rain check for the Tropicana OJ.
customer service and stocking of the products
I was at the customer service desk purchasing a gas tank. As the customer was grabbing his bags to leave, the male cashier rang up an employees lunch that was standing to the side. They had a 5 minute conversation about her lunch she was buying and was in no kind of hurry to do so. This is not the first time this has happened. There were customers behind me as well waiting to be serviced. When he completed her purchase, he never said anything to me as I approached the counter, yet again. As I stated, this is not the first time this has happened, but it will surely be the last as I will no longer shop at your BASS Road store in Macon, GA.
Also, in regards to the stocking of the products, the past times that I have been, they are always out of the items that I need, therefore, I am having to make another trip to another store. It's very frustrating. I quit going to Kroger and decided to go to Publix for all my shopping due to one thing - customer service and the products. Both have went downhill quickly. I will return to the Kroger shopping store for all of my grocery needs from here on out. My family will now do the same.
termination of my job
There wasn't any thing leading up to my termination, I was just called into the office and told I was terminated.
I'm a very hard and honest worker and most commitment to my job. Have been there for five years coming on april of this year. I started as a cashier five years ago and has become a very variable associate to publix.
Worked my way up to cultural ambassador, school tour guide, event planner, aprons bakery, deli assistance. When I was hired on for the position for the aprons clerk by ms. Greta, she told each employee at that time in that department that any items damage or used could be thrower away are taken home with us. Never was any questions over the years told to me any different. When I was called into the office on feb.09, 2018 which I thought I was going to lunch. Then asked by chris was any thing ever taken from aprons that I was aware of? My answer being the honest person I am was stated ms. Greta said throw away could be taken home are thrown away. Chris then said she's no longer with the company and that's not how we do it now. Well i'm sitting there saying ok, he excused himself from the room came back and said I was terminated due to what I just told him that I was instructed to do by publix leader over that department.
I was in a stock and unbelief of his words, really you are terminating me being honest with you as I always have and for following instructions given by the oversee of a department by publix.
I had surgery back in 2016 at the end if that year, and was next up for a full time position in the aprons department. I was told by the dr. That my recovery time was to be a year, instead I only took two months and upon my arrival my positions had been taken away from me.
When I asked why, that's when the harassment started for a whole year and its been racial thing said and done by the staff at store 744 for quite some time. I just overlooked threw the years, for example the customer service managers would only come out the office and help certain people of color. When asked could I have some extra hour no, but a person of opposite race than myself would go and ask and be given without no question.
Over the years such actions as this occurs over and over again.
I was and still is looking forward to my five years dinner. I 've done no wrong and have been falsely mistreated because of my race and my ability to work very hard. Looking forward to hearing back speedily.
Joyce banks
Leading up to my termination I was not told that a different way was now ben done in that department, unaware of any changing
aggressive behavior
Leesburg, FL Palm Plaza store issue. No employee (bagger) should EVER be made to take a cart away from the customers without asking. I keep my purse fastened in the the seat and do NOT appreciate someone putting their hands on the handle at anytime ever! I know management forces this aggressive behavior! Also, the nasty dirty looks I have seen female management giving employees is disrespectful! Do you think no one can see your face as you stare down employees? For a business that claims friendly, courteous, superior service we can see that same service isn't passed to employees by management. Respect gets respect. I thought Publix wanted to be known for how great they are to BOTH their customers & employees! This is yet to be seen. I have been a customer for many years and will continue shopping there, but will stop and contact corporate if I see more of this awful behavior.
chocolate and peanut butter twinkies
I'm a regular customer of your product and never had a problem but I bought a box of your new chocolate and peanut butter Twinkies and most of them had no filling in them, and the rest had very little, I was very disappointed I was expecting to have a nice creamy filling but there was none. I will still continue to buy your product but I was very disappointed.
customer service not provided cashier yvonne at store 769
Hello, I'm sending this email because of the frustration I have with publix supermarket and there customer service. I'm a regular customer at publix and have been shopping there for many years, but what frustrates me the most is that I also work for a company that has me shopping at publix for my clients groceries. So some stores are better then others, but this particular store is horrible. I was in there yesterday and cashier Yvonne checked me out and never not once said hello to me, completely ignored me, I like bagging my own groceries which seems to be a problem alone there also. So I told her I like bagging my own groceries which I did until she was done scanning my groceries and she started to bag my bananas which again I already mentioned to her that I prefer to do that, she was like "oh yeah I remember you telling me that" she grabbed the bananas and she put them in the bag but when she did they slammed against the register which is something I'm trying to prevent which is why I like bagging, I run into associates not handling my produce with care and bagging them properly so I would rather do it. I have my transaction to be tax exempt so she grabbed a customer service staff over to help me with that and after all said and done I slid my card and once it processed she just handed over the receipt without saying nothing at all, Didn't say thanks, didn't say have a good day, she didn't even say hello to me. I'm really disappointed with publix and there (her) service, I'm not understanding why I have to be treated this way. I don't work for publix so this constitutes me as a customer and Yvonne didn't treat me as one at all. I didn't appreciate her lack of service and the way age handled my produce and her attitude towards me. I can go to other publix's to shop for my customers and shop for myself but I chose to go there for convenience but I now chose not to. This is not the first issue I have encountered at this location. This is why I'm sending this email because I really think publix associates need some additional customer service training . I don't want a call from the store manager being that I have already complained to them before and there seems to be NO resolution on the service there. I would like a call from a district manager. Someone higher up needs to know what is going on in the stores because nothing seems to change and I refuse to spend my hard working money and my clients money at this particular location if this is something that continues to happen
price gouging
10/7 - I'm complaining about Publix (various locations), but will focus on my local store at 12139 W Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, FL [protected]. We heard that the avocado crop was presumably affected/delayed since the hurricane. Our local Costco didn't have any and told us that. Their price is normally a little over $1 each. Publix is charging $2.50 each...
