Putco Not receiving my change from a bus driver

Good day.

On the day of me not receiving my change from a driver, he hasn't been driving us since.

I am one of the first few people to get on this bus but when I got in there were already other passangers, I then proceeded to pay with exactly R102 only taking a R1 change and still had an outstanding amount of R80 to be given Cause my bus fare is R21.

The driver named [owen] then tells me that he doesn't have change yet but I'll get it.
He would normally call at the red light for passangers to fetch change if they hadn't received.
But this day he didn't which resulted in us forgetting.
Like I made mention earlier he hadn't driven that bus since that day.
This occured on a Wednesday the 24th of April.

Claimed loss: R80

Desired outcome: I would humbly appreciate this being put onto my tab to get bus rides or even just a refund.

If you haven't done so already, try contacting Putco's customer service directly to report the incident and request your change. Provide them with all the details, including the driver's name and the date it happened. Putco They didn't deliver the service I ask for.

I booked the bus on the 16th on November 2023 for my dads funeral service and apparently the driver went to the wrong address, and only discover that later... So I went to putcos offices to complain from November, December and January they've been sending me from pillar to post then I went back last month they said they are waiting for the footage they will call me and until today they haven't called me and I really need my money back.

Putco Left stranded on freeway by putco bus driver

Today 16 Jan 2024 i was left stranded on the Freeway by a Putco Bus Driver shift 9405 that goes to Krammerville via Woodmead.

The driver told me to get off the bus: he IS NOT GOING to Kramerville - taking into consideration i have been using the SAME BUS with the SAME SHIFT number the whole of last year...and its route ends in Krammerville.

He told me to get off the bus as he is going back to Soweto & i was left stranded on the FREEWAY

He FURTHER continued to tell me that if i climb the SAME BUS TOMMIRROW exactly the same thing is going to happen.

I would like this issue to be resolved as i have filled my bus tag with money and the bus that is supposed to take me to the filled /bought DESTINATION drops me on FREEWAY.

Putco Wrong time showing on bus slip

I took a bus 9016 at Sunninghill on the 22 November 2023, time 15:00. I paid cash, the driver gave me a slip with a WRONG TIME! Then he states that his machine has errors with the time. Mind you, it's 15:00 but it's written 08:26! Now when I tried to take a bus at High Gate going to Protea Glen, this driver refused to let me ride even though I told him what happened.

I am humiliated by what happened, it made me look like a person who is dishonest and the emotional distress I was in!

Now I had to run around and look for the dispatch guy who also did not believe me when I told him what happened!

I want to report that driver!

He was driving bus 9016 from Sunninghill to Emndeni/Vilakazi!

NOT A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER AT ALL!

Putco Reckless driving

Good day

I would like to lay a complaint on the driver who was driving this bus around 4-5 in the evenings heading to Soshanguve On numerous occasions this driver has bullied us on the road .today he was over taking me there was no space but he forced his way in I had to drive off the road so I can accommodate him . Of which if I acted the way he did we could have collided . I feel so irritated that we have to succumb to such bullieng and reckless behaviour on the road pulling all of us at risk

Putco Putco

I had a very disturbing and life threatening very bad experience with a putco bus driver on the 18th of September 2023 @ around 17h00 on corner william nicol and sandton drive

Bus came out from the fork road and forced his way into the 2nd lane as I'm driving in 1st no indicator nothing forcing back in front of me and nearly squeezes me to the curb of the road and pretends as if ge did nothing wrong

The number plate is KC 20 NH GP

Putco The fare paid this morning and the slip I received

I took a 04:00 am bus from Moteti Mmotwaneng to marabastad today the 30th of August 2023, to my surprise , I gave the Driver an amount of R65.00 but he provided me with a slip of R35.00.

The slip number is 100505 and company number on slip is 53383, Trip no 5 , Fare R35.00, so where did the R30.00 go. That is my question?

I thought it costs R65.00 to get to Marabastad, from Moteti Mmotwaneng Dennilton

Please assist, I am confused

Putco PUTCO Drivers

26 July 2023 around 6:30am along Northumberland Road heading towards Fourways. Bus driver was in the right turning lane, barely stopped and went straight, at an intersection where lights were not working. I wanted to get his registration plate but I never got close enough as at the next intersection he was in the emergency lane on the left and went straight. This is not the first time I have witnessed such bad driving on this particular stretch of road. The safety of their passengers and all vehicles and pedestrians around them are at risk.

Desired outcome: Suspension of such drivers and take away their licences.Proper vetting of drivers would help.

Putco Bus 9005

2 weeks back our bus was involved in a accident so now we are struggling with a bus not sure if the management team knows that we are left stranded everyday we have to walk all the way from CTM Strijdom Park to Malibongwe because we don't have a bus can you give our driver a bus so he come fetch us. Why must we complain before you do something you know that this bus is always full but you fail to give our driver a bus.

Putco Its been 3month now we been having bus problems

Good morning

Bus number 9206 Driver name Slindile bus route Dobsonville to Strydom Park Our bus driver every morning never has a bus we as the commuters always need to go meet at Shoprite then head Dobsonville Putco Depo to ask for a bus, today they gave us a bus at 07:20

We get to work late everyday, every morning theres always a story with our bus could we please get a bus thats gonna start at starting point on time please

We are really struggling with the poor service we get from putco 4 months now we don't have a bus we must go to the deopt everymorning to ask them to give our driver a bus the problem is not with the driver cos he is always there the problem is with putco [censored] service why must we suffer like we owe putco money we fill monthly tags but we suffer like we owe them give our driver a bus 9206.

We are asking Putco to give our driver his bus since the bus went to fit a windscreen does it take months to put a windscreen really we are not taken serious as passengers we get to work late because you can't manage your business how many years have putco operated but still it's failing us we buy monthly tags to beg putco every morning to give Slindile a bus. Can management look in to this matter with urgency. Bus shift 9206.

Putco Driver not following road rules

On Thursday evening just after 6pm a Putco bus driver was using the turning lane corner of Malibongwe and Northumberland as a driving line to speed over an intersection with no traffic lights as per loadshedding. He used the curved sidewalk to squeeze in and nearly hit a Landrover with a family waiting to cross. As it puts lives in danger as well as not following road rules this driver was irresponsible and shouldn't be driving with passengers on board.

Putco New Cards

My card stopped working out of the blue, I loaded trips from Dobsonville to Illovo. These new cards are supposed to make our lives easy but they are making our lives more difficult. We can't even swipe with our bank cards when we purchase, as if that is not enough a inconvenience now the damn cards decide they won't work. The bus drivers kick you out the bus even when you have a receipt. I had to buy another card and guess what? It didn't work too. At this point I just want my money back and I'll take another form of transport. This is a huge inconvenience I now have to miss work just to fix this card...! Its pathetic and the drivers are horrible because they know these cards don't work but they treat you like a criminal.

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for all the times I have had to pay even when I have had a card full of trips, I would like my card fixed or my money back!

Putco Bus Drivers

The drivers you have on Ontdekkers is rude selfish, and think the road belong to them, one afternoon the bus was in a lane that had to come in on ontdekkers the driver knew that he had to wait for other traffic but he didn't he drove me off the road to be first, this morning was load shedding traffic was hectic the driver of bus JB55NFGP was in the middle lane and just went over to the left lane to turn left didn't wait to get a turn he just dove whomever was in the way had to make way, Luckily traffic started to move and we could let him go,he almost put me my car and a few other people on the pavement!you need to teach your drives that just because they drive a bus does not mean they can be rude, selfish with no manners, and drive like they are some kind of god that everyone have to obey seriously... you need to do something because its getting worse every day

Putco Bus driver abrupt behaviour

Good day I would like to report an incident that took place on the 10 May 2023 at Midrand shift bus number 9258 the bus driver is very rude, disrespectful and no manners towards me when I tagged in he said I'm lost because he doesn't know which I am confused that I now needed to introduce myself when I board the bus which I purchased my bus tag with my hard earned cash please make sure you attend to this because if nothing will be done I will escalate the matter forward I can't be treated like this and feel so humiliated by him in front other passengers my cellphone number is [protected] clearly this is not the first time this happens I'm looking forward to hearing your response email address [protected]@yahoo.com.

Putco Complaint

At this morning (31 March 2023, 05:58) at Noordgesig bus stop, I got in a bus with shift number 9243 to connect at Pennyville bus stop. Not sure if the driver's are allowed to set their own route rules or what. But as I got in the bus the driver shouted that he does not stop at Pennyville so I should get out of the bus. I was late and couldnt afford to wait for another bus, with the intenstions of rather getting off at Pennyville and rather catch for the bus to my destination. I refused to get off as I did not understand why the bus wouldnt make a stop at one of the biggest Connecting bus stops. He drove passed with me when I had continuously requested that I need to get off. The driver ignored and only made a stop in the middle of a busy road (rea vaya lane) at high gate such that I get off.

1. I couldve easily been hit by a car/bus/truck as I had got off the bus.

2. Why is it that drivers set own rules as to where they stop and where they cant stop without valid reasons. Pennyville is a well known bus stop for connections and as such I am not understanding the actions of the driver.

This is wrong and upsetting at the same time.
