Payment sent to quest in error
On October 3, 2021 I accidentally sent a payment through my dollar bank online banking to quest in air in the amount of $325.81. Dollar bank and I have been trying for two months to get my money returned to me to no avail. I have spoken to several supervisors at quest and they have told me it will take 4 to 6 weeks after the check has been processed. The check was cashed by quest on October 14, and I have still not received my money or any response to my emails. I have sent several emails and every time they just get back to me with a new case number. This is also the second complaint I have filed with you and never received a response. Dollar bank is also trying to get this money returned for me and they haven't had much luck either. I am finding this so unbelievable that I cannot get my money returned to me
Desired outcome: Having my money returned
Cannot believe the service from quest is so horrible
Service in Gibsonia, PA
We had to undergo COVID test to my child due to the potential exposure to get clearance to get back to school. I've called the quest who had confirmed that as long as my kid is asymptomatic and we have the order in the system, we should be good to go. I've scheduled online appointments using the COVID option. When arrived, the tech told us they don't do the...
Read full review of Quest DiagnosticsDriver preforming dangerous driving in unsafe conditions
A driver in a Quest Diagnostics vehicle numbered 15750 was going above the speed limit today 12/6/21 at 1pm. Southbound on division between Wellsey and queen. The driver was driving much too close to other drivers and honking at turning vehicles. The current date is also the first large snow of spokane this year and this is unacceptable. The driver in question almost rear-ended another vehicle due to this irresponsible driving choice in a company vehicle. I hope you can understand how unprofessional this looks towards your employees and business.
Desired outcome: Driver will be told repercussions of driving this way and or be limited to dry weather driving.
Labs
On June 2020, my employer ordered labs . Quest diagnostics had my address incorrect. I have worked for the same doctor for 5 years my address and phone number have not changed. I never received a call or bill for over one year . The only way I knew of this bill was from the collection company that contacted in November of 2021 over a year later . At my employer it is policy that the office covers all lab work after our insurance is billed. However my employer did not recur bill for labs . I now have this negative activity on my credit.
I am a licensed lab technologies and understand how lab work is done . I am truly disappointed that quest never contacted me . The bill is now paid however I will never use quest services again and I will strongly suggest to the doctors I work for to change companies and no longer use quest diagnostic.
Desired outcome: Off credit

Sample Drop-off
On 12-2-21 at approximately 4:00PM my wife was at Quest Diagnostics to have blood and urine samples taken. She was unable to provide the urine sample, so the technician gave her a sample container and bag and told her she could simply drop it off the next morning. On 12-3-21 at approximately 12:40PM I went into the same Quest location to deliver the urine sample. I was without a mask. The person behind the counter told me I must exit the building, return with a mask, sign in on the kiosk, and wait my turn. There was only one other person seated in the waiting area. I explained that I simply needed to drop off a urine sample, and held up the bag containing the sample. The person behind the counter said that that did not matter. I left, got a mask, and returned. I was made to sign in, and in the time it took me to turn and walk five paces to a chair the person behind the counter called my name. I approached the counter, handed her the sample, she spent about 15 seconds looking at it, and said "OK, that's it". This was a ridiculous waste of time and effort on both our parts, and to me clearly demonstrates inadequate training.
Desired outcome: Better Training
Horrible service at
160 W. 26 st NY city location: Beware of this grey hair lady phlebotomist called Lucy. Yesterday, I went to get blood drawn. Because of previous trauma, I asked her to use a smaller butterfly needle. She took offense to that instantly without explanation. She said: you have ok vein but YOU DON'T CARE. YOU JUST WANT TO GET WHAT YOU WANT". I explained it was because of previous bad experiences. She repeated that statement three times. Complained another three times to me that it takes longer draw time (like 3 minutes longer for 8 tubes). At one point, I said "I am sorry I requested this". She snapped back: "PEOPLE MISUSE THE WORD SORRY WHEN THEY DON'T MEAN IT". She was one of the more miserable persons I have ever met. She made me felt guilty for requesting a butterfly needle.
Desired outcome: A response and this lady should be notified of a complaint against her. Her supervisor should talk to her about her unprofessional behavior.

Billing department very bad customer service
I had a procedure on Mar 22, 2021 and a sample was sent to the lab. When Quest Diagnostics submitted the claim to Ambetter my insurance company the claim was denied. So they sent me a bill of $503. I checked with my insurance company for the reason of denial, they told me it was not submitted right and the claim should be resubmitted. And the insurance company told me that if Quest Diagnostics contact them they will explain how to resubmit the claim. I contacted Quest and informed them about that. After a while I got the same bill again. I contacted the insurance company and they told me Quest never contacted them. And even the agent at the insurance company tried to do a conference call with me and Quest but we stayed more than an hour on the line waiting and we couldn't do the conference call.
I contacted Quest Diagnostics billing department many many times and each time waiting for at an hour on the line to tell them to contact my insurance company and they refuse. They insisted that they will never contact the insurance company to resolve this issue. They want the insurance company to call them, while Quest Diagnostics should call to resolve the issue and get their money because they are the claim submitter.
May be they don't care who will pay. But that is not right.
Why I should pay this bill $503 while my insurance is willing to pay it?
Why they are not doing their job and claim their bill the right way?
Why they are insisting me to pay the bill because they just don't want to contact my insurance company and resolve the issue?
Today, I got a final notice to pay this bill, while I was on the phone with them yesterday to convince them to contact my insurance company to resolve the issue.
If they just call Ambetter provider services team and mention the call reference number I66171384 (11/29/2021) or I65046246 (11/8/2021) or I63640706 (10/15/2021), this issue will be resolved.
Thank you,

Desired outcome: Please call Ambetter provider services team ASAP and mention the call reference numbers mentioned above, they will tell you how to resubmit the claim, this issue will be resolved.
Billing, your "mydoc" doesnt accept information entered
I keep getting billed from Quest indicating I owe 827.00 which should have been billed to my insurance. They have the incorrect insurance data in there system. I try to update it going to www.mydocbill.com I enter the data, press save. Then if I go into again, it defaults back to the original data, the incorrect data. What is wrong with them. Then I phone spoke to Maria who took my info down, and once again you go back into the system and the defaults back to the old info. This is not good and is considered a sham. They should be investigated immediately.! They are trying to force people to pay for a service the insurance covers.
Desired outcome: for them to enter my corret data and bill my insurance
Wrong information posted on web site. Web site does not work. Customer service is horrible!
All Customer communication (including Internet and voice mail) says walk-ins are accepted. I walked into three different sites today. None of them were accepting walk-ins! One person was outright rude. Their web site login page does not work to modify/change my appointment I made the other day. When I enter the confirmation code they sent me by email, their site says "The confirmation code is not valid." If this company is so confused about its customer interaction, there is a grave danger of them messing their vital customer health lab test. It is a completely unreliable company.
Desired outcome: Correct their web site information. Train their customer interaction personnel to be more courteous with patents.
MyDocBill requesting money for something I was never billed for
I have responded to their emails since 11/10/2021 asking that for a paper bill. They respond with email that do not address my request for a paper bill. Yesterday I called them and I was put on hold by their automated answering machine. I hung up after 1 hour and 3 minutes. I've logged onto the MyDocBill and there was not option that would allow me to see the the detail bill as they say on their automated recording says I can do. I'm on hold with Quest Diagnostics for 30 minutes now without being able to talk to their representatives.
Desired outcome: I want a paper bill so I can pay the bill and have the bill for my income tax records as I itemize my annual tax return.
Supervisor was rude and refused to provide client service
your location at 3501 Cattlemen Sarasota fl has an issue with your staff.
They seem to have adopted the attitude of their day manager .
She refused to give me her full name other than YOLLANDA, NOTHING ELSE.
After being asked why I am still waiting for my appointment 10 minutes after designated time and they are admitting walk ins she proceeded to go on a rant and told me she is refusing to provide me service and told me to call cooperate.
If this is the type of employees you accept then we will do our best to inform our insurance provider to avoid QUEST labs ND SEND OUR BUSINESS TO TOHER LABS.
Desired outcome: NEED THAT SUPERVISOR SPOKEN TO IF NOT REMOVED
Overcharged, underserviced.
I have to give blood once or twice a month. My deductible has been met since April. I go to various Quest locations around Las Vegas, NV. I have no problems with any of them except the one located at 305 N. Nellis, Las Vegas, NV. They still charge a 50.00 copay. I payed in August. I went in today they tried to charge me a 50.00 copay. I told them they are wrong and Quest owes me a refund from August they told me to get out if I am not going to pay. This was a big inconvenience seeing they were late 20 minutes for my appointment and then throw me out without drawing blood.
Desired outcome: That they fix their program and return my 50.00 August copay.
SSI paperwork
I didn't have my Medicare card and brought in letter from Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. They wouldn't accept the letter and told me to wait for billing. They couldn't copy and fax letter to their own billing to save both of us time and money.
Desired outcome: Just do the simple thing and submit letter to their billing department. This would avoid paperwork and get Quest their money sooner.
Dropping off specimen
I arrived at Quest at 10 10 am and signed in to drop of a specimen. Screen with wait times kept changing for wait times. I waited an 1 hrs and still have not been called . It is ridiculous that I have to wait this long to drop of specimen with requisition already made. This is the Quest at 110 S Macdill Ave. Suite 202. Staff was not helpful. All they could say they only had 2 people working.
Alina Estevez
Desired outcome: You should have people checking in Specimens that are dropped off.
Blood draw
The technician left a severe bruise, that's about 3 inches long from a simple blood draw. There is no way to contact anyone at the location. There is simply an endless loop of automated phone systems and no way to get a person on the phone. This person should know the pain she is inflicting and be re-trained.
Desired outcome: Contact
Driver
Driver #33790 almost ran me and my daughter off the road ! We were coming Down Franklin in Gastonia and the driver of #33790 jumped from beside us to in front of us with no signal and almost hit the front of my vehicle! I had to hurry and break and almost flipped my car! They did not have the right away and act like they did not care at all and tried to risk me and my family's life!
Desired outcome: Driver #33790 Don’t need to be driving
Quest diagnostics
Hi, my name is Mahboubeh siadat, Yesterday had an appointment and went to the closest one to our home . At the office tried to register and it said you are late. Then I showed my online appointment to one of employees and she said no it's not ours while on the page it was written Quest. However after half an hour when I said that my daughter and her children are waiting for me the accepted me. At last after a lot of delay I had to leave without my test to be down. And when I asked to whom should I complain the answer was:I don't know. What do you think?
fraud services, missing sample, no communication,
we have a 93 year old patient who needs to be catheterized to collect urine due to her catatonic state.Recently, on Nov 5th, 2021, home health nurse dropped the urine sample at San Leandro Quest. Quest San leandro has done this multiple times in the past. Quest has lost our sample about 2 times. Quest didn't result culture and Sensitivity additional 2 times. The urine report said pus and culture said no bacteria. Also, there were times, They gave fraudulent results.
I don't think they really do culture and sensitivity, they just claim they do for medicare money.
The doctor started an antibiotic on patient after giving urine sample, quest report came after 1 week and said resistant for that antibiotic but patients urine and condition got better with that antibiotic.
It is hard to collect sample. And this time Quest- San Leandro never notified us about the urine after we gave the sample, we called multiple places and then we heard from quest that it was sent it wrong container. Urine is collected by professionals.
I am a laboratory Scientist and this type of laboratory testing doesn't look right.
Desired outcome: Need to get correct results and proper service otherwise we will be reaching out to Medicare
It took way too long to be seen
I had an appointment today, and never ever had a problem. I get there and the place is full, and this never happens. I was waiting over 20 minutes with an appointment and with being 15 minutes early. I got a test to come into the office but I was already in there, so I walked into the back and not one patient was being taken care of. I asked for a...

I had an appt on 9/31/21
A previous appt where I was 20 late, I was told to reschedule and leave.
Upon returning, I observed terrible customer service from the front desk employee, Danny.
The customer service I noticed was toward another patient who arrived without proof of his referral in the computer system. Rather than actually helping the patient, Danny told him she couldn't help him instead of recommending he call his doctor's office and have them fax the referral. I suggested that - he didn't know he could do that. She had the same cold and abrupt service toward other patients, but that one stood out the most…
This location also has no surveys or business cards - as you can see for good reason.
Maybe Danny should be in a role where customer service is not required since she clearly lacks skills to help patients.
Desired outcome: Reprimand and remove
