Blood testing
Last week, I scheduled an appointment for lab work on Friday at 2:15pm. I arrived on time and responded to a text message to alert them that I was there. I got a reply saying I could wait in my car (because of covid protocols), and they would send another text when they were ready. About a half hour later, I confirmed again, and got no reply. Finally after 3pm, I went in the building to go to their office, and someone in the lobby told me the power went out and everyone went home. They never bothered to contact anyone waiting. The guy in the lobby suggested I go to a different location.
Desired outcome: I would have appreciated someone calling to tell me they lost power. Some sort of arrangements should have been made for patients with appointments. At the very least, a call the following week would have been nice, but instead they just went home and ignored all the patients who had appointments.
Luckily there was one not too far, so I went over there and signed in and told them that I had an appointment but got sent here. I sat and sat and sat, realizing that everyone that was coming in was going ahead of me. They were treating me as a walk-in and giving priority to later appointments. After another hour of waiting, someone finally took my order. I could tell she was inexperienced because she had to erase everything and start over three times before she got my labs entered correctly. She did fine with the blood draw, but now a week later I get a call saying my TSH was showing to be 25, when the same test was previously 0.04 two months ago, so the doctor then realized this was clearly a lab mistake. I asked when the lab makes a mistake, shouldn't they be on the hook for repeating it, and she said no. Makes you realize that there's definitely a huge monetary incentive for lab mistakes.
Desired outcome: When a lab test is messed up so bad that it's obvious that they made a mistake, then it should be something the lab needs to redo, rather than allow them to profit off their own mistakes.
Phlebotomist
This has been the go-to lab for myself and my family but after my experience yesterday I cannot recommend this location to anyone. I had a scheduled appointment for 7am, the building did not even unlock its doors until 7am and by then there was a group of us including the employees waiting to get in. After 15-20 minutes of waiting, I was called back after...

I went to the 18 east Granby Road Quest in Connecticut. I went in 5 minutes before my 3:00 appointment. I saw the sign in screen at the front desk. But I had a sign in on my phone as part of your system. The girl there was sarcastic and rude. She asked if I was signed in yet. I said "I am signing in on my phone. I dont think it's ready yet." she asked if my...

I went into the Quest located at the Lutheran Hospital campus in Wheat Ridge campus in Colorado. This was a routine draw and historically speaking, I've been under a doctors care and have recieved many blood draws over the past 20 years, many of them (sucessfully) from Quest. I walk in on January 21st, 2021 and a young lady who I thought was new to the...
Read full review of Quest DiagnosticsCa [protected]) blood test paid $146.23, quest didn't receive my check and medicare says I don't have to pay the bill.
Four blood tests on 6/29/2021 before my scheduled surgery. The above was denied by Medicare — I appealed. Medicare first said I had to pay. Mailed check to Quest 10/28/2021 to PO Box 3695 Chicago, IL 60693. After that Medicare informed me that Quest didn't process claim correctly, adjustment to be made, I don't have to pay. Mailed letter to Quest 12/29/2021 to find out why my check hasn't been cashed. No Quest agent could give me any positive answers. No record of receiving check and I keep getting phone text messages to pay this bill. Copied Medicare on all of my correspondence. If Quest has my check #7010, I want it returned to me. Still not cashed. Don't want Quest to send this to a collection agency.
Desired outcome: Get my check returned to me and resolve this situation now
Stool sample
I recently did a stool sample & I did what the instructions said & scooped up a parastic worm but my results came back negative. I do not know where to turn in order to get quest held liable for falsly stating there was a neg result. My life can be at risk with parasites in my body! Aside from that they were very rude & would not help me about my doc order about my blood test. It states on their website that quest can call my doc regarding my blood test order... They told me they could not help me & that happened 3 times & still no help from quest employes, highly unprofessional.
Desired outcome: COMPENSTATION FOR FALSLY STATING THAT MY TEST CAME BACK NEGATIVE.....
My drug test has once again came out with a false results.
My drug test has once again came out with a false result. A few years ago it came out positive for Herion, now it just came o but my doctor out positive for PCP. I have never done any of these drugs in my life. This has cost me my reputation and all my doctors have dropped me from my necessary medical treatment.
Maybe my urine sample got mixed up with somebody else's.
i would not mind taking another to straighten this out, but the clinic has dropped me and won't see me anymore.
The clinic is :Inland Psychiatric Medical Group Inc:

Inability to speak with a 'real' person
I was forced to use the automated appointment system for a CDL physical . Nothing on the phone system for the Myerstown (Pennsylvania) Quest Lab said that they cannot do those test there. I drove to the site this morning (1/14/22) only to find that they do NOT perform those tests at that site. Perhaps the website should indicate what testing can be performed at a site?
Desired outcome: I need to know where I can go for the CDL physical that I need for a job I will start in the near future.
Process of wait time
I knew when the appointment app didn't work, I was taking a risk going into the quest office on Binz in Houston. I decided to risk it, especially when I could simply wait in my car to receive a text to come to the waiting room. The issue- inaccurate information on when to come to the waiting room. Their message to "come now" turned into an extra 30 minutes and counting. The system is faulty and demeaning of everyone's time. Good thing they didn't need to take my blood pressure. Also, staff did not ask unmasked clients to wear one. Not good.
Desired outcome: Better serve and better system of call backs
Medicare blood test billing, ref account #5837783-qqud1-10
I have been billed for blood tests that were ALL paid by Medicare and I owe nothing. Please stop sending me bills with threats to turn my account over to a collection agency! Attached are two pages of the billing information.
Incorrect billing and application of insurance payments
On March 18th, 2021, I went to the doctor for my wellness check. I received a bill from Quest Diagnostics for over $1000 of preventative labwork. BCBS paid, but the bill was not updated to reflect that payment. The Since then I have been sent to collections even though I have been on the phone with them 3 times a month at least trying to resolve this careless error on their part. They made multiple notes about this conversation, and it did not matter. SUpposedly there is a new billing system that has not been refined yet.
Desired outcome: removed from the collection agency along with the bill reflecting all the payments from the insurance company.
Lab Billing
On Aug 13, 2021 My husband went to Quest to have labs drawn. He is a private pay patient and while our daughter works at the other lab in town, we were told they were less expensive for private pay. We asked their policy when we got there and were told that we would get a private pay discount for paying at the time of service. I have two receipts showing we did this as they separated the labs from the admin fee. The receipt shows a break down of codes and charges for each lab he had drawn. I have called and emailed them regarding this issue at least 5 times. I have been told that they put the wrong "discount code" on the bill and that is why it is not billing correctly, however, they cant fix it and I need to submit an email to the billing department. I have done this 3 times and each time it comes back as daemon mail. I work for a large heath care facility as an administrator and sent this from my work email and once again it was returned unopened. I also faxed the receipts to one of the customer service agents who was trying to help me but it has yet to be resolved.
Desired outcome: Write off the balance bill amount
no results, no contact, no answers!!!!
both my husband and I went to the Wheat Ridge CO location to receive covid tests after being exposed. He receved his within 24 hours.
after 6 days NO RESPONSE... NO RESPONSE TO EMAILS .. AND JUST NO RESPONSE.
THIS IS BS...
NEVER EVER GOING BACK THERE.
I would like someone to call me personally back asap.
Desired outcome: MY MONEY BACK OR ANOTHER COVID TEST!
Service Center - Zip 95608 on Fair Oaks Blvd
I had an appointment today at 8:30am, I was in your lobby at 8:20am, I checked in. At 8:32am I received a text that you are ready for me. At 9:04am I walked out of your Lab without my blood work being done, nobody ever came out to get me. There is NOBODY at your window, there is NOBODY that comes out to check if people with appointments haven't been seen. It is UNACCAPTABLE that you make me make an appointment and you are late without saying ANYTHING to me. Calling your locations is a JOKE! No live person answers any phones, you cannot go up to the window to ask anything because there is no one ever there.. I have given you guys many chances. I have requested for my Dr to transfer all my lab requests to LabCorp. Incase anyone cares to correct anything which I highly doubt, the location is in Carmicheal CA 95608 on Fair Oaks Blvd. Totally incompetent people work here. Nobody has the curtesy to check on ANYONE in the lobby. I will be filing complaints against you guys with everyone and anyone who will listen to me. My husband has 6.3million followers on Instagram, so expect to get a lot of calls in the near future. I will be contacting Local news. Someone needs to launch an investigation into how you guys run a medical business with NO live people, nowhere to turn, a ghost town..
I was charged twice and not refunded
They charged my credit card twice and have not refunded me. I made a payment online and the next day they charged my account a 2nd time. I have called no less than 6 times about this, I have sent in screenshots of the two debits to my account and each time I call, they give me the run around and keep telling me to call back in 10 days. This is absolutely frustrating and I am very dissatisfied that they over charged me and have not refunded my money back to me yet.
Desired outcome: I need to be refunded the $25.96 for the additional payment that was withdrawn from my account unauthorized.
Employee verbally assaulted
On today 12/27/2021, after my 19 months visited her Dr. Her Dr. sent us to Quest Diagnostics located on 110 S 17th St. Harrisburg. PA (Hamilton Health Center building). Dr. said my daughter need blood work for Iron and what ever test (don't remember how to spell the word). When it's our turn. I am holding my baby girl, one Black lady (her name is Dena) hold...

I'm writing to report an erratic Quest Diagnostics vehicle. While driving to dinner this evening, vehicle #80873, NJ Licencse plate U94-NMU made an illegally turn and nearly hit my car. I was turning into Skyview mall in Flushing, NY when the Nissan vehicle came speeding from the right lane and cut in front of me without any turn signal or warning. I had to veer into opposite traffic to avoid a collision. After I beeped my horn at her letting her know of her wrong-doing, she responded by throwing her middle finger at me. I was extremely appalled by the dangerous situation I was put in and how obscene the driver was. I would hope this is not the standard that you hold your employees to, as it definitely reflected negatively on your brand. Thank you for your time.
Billing
I was charged twice for the same service by Quest Diagnotics. The first was paid by my insurance, which told me I wouldn't owe copay. Later I get a bill for the same amount sent to my provider... I wasn't sure what was happening so I paid the bill (in order to avoid being sent to collections.) I then went and looked at my insurance page and realized I did not in fact owe quest anything. I sent an email to customer service with all the information needed and haven't heard back.
Desired outcome: Refund of money
blood draw .. billing
the billed me for the wrong amount.. admitted it and still did nothing .. just kept asking for a payment that was not mine..
Desired outcome: company to go out of business
Appointments
Today, December 16, 2021, I went to the Quest diagnostic center at 19582 Beach Blvd., suite 300 in Huntington Beach, CA. After several people had signed in and waited for over an hour, Isaak came out and announced that Quest no longer accepts walk-ins. Note: Every name on the electronic board said "Walk-in". I pointed this out to Isaak. I asked why my and others names were accepted and given a wait time as a walk-in and was told "I don't know".
My walk-in was for a diabetic check that requires fasting before the test. The time at rejection by Isaak was 12:00 noon. I* had not eaten anything since the evening before - as required for a fasting diabetic blood test. Isaak told me that I should pay better attention to me health as HE isn't responsible. I now check with the Quest web pages and I see where it says an appointment is recommended. I called the location where I was rejected after 30 minutes wait and another elderly gentleman was rejected after one hour (there were only 4 people waiting - all walk-ins). The Quest locations machine informed me that "appointments are recommended" and will be will be taken in order of arrival AFTER people with appointments - THERE WERE NO PEOPLE WITH APPOINTMENTS. I must say that the attitude of Isaak was that of one who deems himself most powerful and will dictate policy as HE sees fit. He told me it was company policy. Why not a sign out front advising people of that policy BEFORE they wait for an hour and then are told to go home. This is unacceptable.
Desired outcome: I want the true policy to be known and visual notice of the policy posted at the testing centers and on web sites and on teloephone appointment sites.
