red lobster employees
I'm making a complaint on the Tampa Dale Mabry site. They have employees that has been getting off work and partying at the Green Parrot Pub next to the place. The women come there and flirt in uniform and act abruptly. One of the girls Marissa was seen doing drugs in the restroom. She is very rude and disrespectful. This incident was Jan 26 around midnight. These people were there for a guy name Aaron's party. I'm planning on calling the main headquarters about this issue. It's been going on for months and these individuals serve our food.
racial profiling, defamation of character, harassment, false police complaint
I and a co-worker was on business trip in Houston, Texas and drove over to Arlington to enjoy lunch with my son. The three of us dined at the above mentioned Red Lobster location. After settling the bill for myself and my son he left to go back to work. Shortly after a man came to our table and identified himself as the manager. He went to state he wanted to let us know he attempted to stop the person that was with our table from leaving because "…he looked shady and it appeared he was trying to skip out on paying his bill." He continued with "There was a small altercation and I called the police and sent them over to Sprint." Flabbergasted at his remark, I responded to him "His bill was paid before he left. You need to call the police and let them know you made a mistake so they won't go on his job." He responded sharply "I am not going to do that". Conversation between manager and myself became elevated as he did not appear to want to correct the situation. At this point I was truly upset and we began gathering our belongings to leave. As we were walking towards exit the manager walked behind increasingly instigating. With us already on our way out he told us to "Leave my establishment or I will call the police". As we walked out he yelled out "Have a nice day and watch yourself".
As we walked across the parking lot to check on the third party four (3) police cars were turning in the parking lot. Two headed towards Reb Lobster and I flagged down one (1) and the other went to the Sprint Store. In all 4 police had been dispatched on his fraudulent 911 call.
Afterwards I was made aware the altercation was your manager approaching my son as he was leaving and telling him he could not leave until his bill was paid. My son informed him his bill had been settled and he should check with his waitress. Manager continued to harass my son and told him if he left he would call the police. My son responded to him that he had to get back to work at the Sprint Store and showed him his name badge as he walked out. Instead of checking with the waitress he chose to without consideration call the police on an innocent man.
Here was a well-groomed young black man dressed in a Sprint employee uniform (casual shirt w/ sprint name/logo, Docker slacks and casual shoes). What was the "shady look" the manager had mentioned. The shade of his skin color? This entire situation could have been diffused had the manager made the proper communication with his waitress. The timing of his 911 call and settlement of the bill confirms that the bill was paid well before anyone from our party left. Your manager's actions were irresponsible and he should be held accountable. I could not understand why he would be so negligent in making the false 911 call and intentionally let the police continue on a call that he knew was inaccurate. This could have jeopardized my son's job, as well as grave mishap between police and "black male". Your manager showed a total lack of respect for paying customers.

My family and I went to Red Lobster Jan 26, 2018 around 930 -10p. It was my nieces 23rd bday and Red Lobster was her restaurant of choice to celebrate. This celebration included my sister, niece and myself. My niece and I both ordered meals that included shrimps which she and I and noticed the shrimp weren't completely cooked. After we both ate 1 each we noticed the batter was very doughy which kinda spoiled the meal, especially going to Red Lobster for seafood. As we bought this to our waiter (Tom) attention he looked at the shrimps and replied "yea they don't look done." He said he will have some new ones made. After picking over the reaming meal we paid our check but 1st my sister asked the waiter as we were paying the bill if there can be something done with adjusting the check since here it is we're just about done and ready to leave and the redo order of the shrimps still haven't come out yet. (boxed to take home) Tom left and came back and said the manager politely took $5 off of your $66 check.
While waiting for the redo of the shrimps we asked the waiter if the manager was going to stop by to see the under cooked food and/or apologize for any inconvenience. Remind you management never came to the table when we bought the under cooked shrimp to the attention of the waiter.
Tom our waiter said he would get the manager. At this point we're all coated up and ready to leave and my niece still drinking her Bahama Mama while waiting for the redo shrimps, here comes a manager (Sarah) When Sarah stood in front of our table before saying a word she did a little sigh and slightly rolled her eyes and said "yes." So as I began to ask if there was a new cooked as I'm showing her the 14 under cooked shrimps left on the 2 plates between my niece and myself, I stopped in conversation as I was able to tell from Sarah body language and the rolling of the eyes and yes this young lady was rolling her eyes as I was talking that she really wasn't trying to hear anything I was saying. I paused and said "I find it odd that after you were told that our food was under cooked that you didn't stop by to even see the food for accuracy. Sarah replied and said "do I need to explain myself to you?" Yes you heard correct, this is what Sarah said. I asked her if she felt she should explain herself and she said "NO." I chuckled and Sarah slightly leaned over to me as I was still sitting in the booth with my family and pointed her finger right in my face (scolding child like) and said "I had other things to attend." I asked something more important than a customer bringing to your attention about under cooked food. I then I asked her to get her finger out of my face and boldly enough Sarah didn't budge and kept her finger in my face. By this time the waitress dropped off the re-order of our shrimps that we had requested to put in a to-go container. I stood up and surprisingly that's when Sarah stepped back and a coworker stood in front of her. I'm not sure how long she thought I was going to let her stand over me and point her finger in my face.
At this time I'm going to assume an employee was watching this whole things just a few steps away because as I stood up a young man stood in front of Sarah and looked at him and asked him to call the police. I laughed and asked so you can point your finger in my face but the minute I stand up the police need to be called. By this time Sarah pointed and asked us to leave and I told her my niece wasn't finished with her drink and Sarah replied "oh she only have 3 sips left" I told Sarah I don't care how many sips you think she has but she's gonna finish her drink 1st. When my niece finished her drink we left and Sarah and the guy (Austin) that called the police which he was still on the phone with them walked us to the door and came outside wanting to get the license plate of the car that we were driving. As I'm standing in the parking lot I turned to Austin and told him I left from inside the restaurant but I'm waiting here outside of the restaurant for the police. I told him they're going to hear my story because I don't think Sarah is going to be honest because my family and I didn't do anything wrong. Austin replied and said "I'm just doing my job." Before I forget as Sarah was pointing her finger in my face my sister commented to my niece and said you can get your butt ([censor])kicked doing something like that (point in people face). My niece shook her head. Sarah quickly replied and said "oh you're threaten me?'' My sister looked at her and said nobody talking to you. I think by this time Sarah realized that she was wrong and had messed up and was looking for things as a rebuttal to come back with something to say she felt we did.
So, 2 police cars pulled up as we were waiting outside. One said he's going in to talk to the manger and the other asked us about what happened. I repeated to him what I've included in this complaint. I said to the officer that I have a 32 year old son and I know he's older than Sarah and he would never speak to anyone like that. I told the officer that its common sense that working with the public you have to present a certain demeanor and be respectful, the office laughed and said common sense isn't common sense for everyone and surely not for Sarah. The officer pointed to the general manager name that was engraved outside the door of the restaurant and said that's who you should call and voice your concerns.
When I tell you I have never ever been so embarrassed and humiliated in my life and spoken to so disrespectfully by management. I was thinking after the fact trying to think of reasons why Sarah felt so comfortable and stern in her demeanor to talk to customers the way she did. My niece just graduated from college and getting ready to attend grad school and my sister and I are both well college educated individuals. That night as I'm packing to head back to New England because I flew in for a few days to celebrate my niece special day I'm still puzzled about all of this and to call the police as if we were some rowdy hoodlums disturbing the peace. While Sarah was being disrespectful, rolling her eyes, pointing her finger in my face which she was very comfortable in doing so, but the minute you stand up to because you've had enough of her unprofessional ism and disrespect is when she changed to having the police called. Sarah, you can't judge people by whatever or however you see them, chance are you're judgement can be wrong. I'm almost sure that this isn't the first time Sarah has treated customer or possibly employees this way. Shame on Red Lobster for having such rude, unprofessional, degrading non customer friendly employees especially management work in their establishment. Corporate should reconsider Sarah as a manager because apparently she do not care about Red Lobster values. Red Lobster say they're a company with a conscience and express what they do in the community but I would like to know about how Red Lobster value customer service and the expectations of the staff, especially management.
staff
I have thought about this for a couple of days and finally decided this needs to be done. On Monday, 1.22.18, the company that I work for went to lunch at Red Lobster in Southaven, MS at approximately 1 pm. We were seated immediately as the lunch rush had dispersed. Our waitress took around 5 minutes to let us know that she would be with us when she could. Once she took our order we sat at the table without drinks for 17 minutes. When I asked about them she told m there was nothing she could do as the bartender still had not made them. The order was for 3 bottled beers and a vodka cranberry, not a difficult nor time consuming order. We waited another couple of minutes and I had to go to the hostess desk and ask for a manger as we had not seen our waitress again. During this time, I observed the bartender. She had 2 customers at the bar, with empty drinks and 2 tables that I saw her attend. She then disappeared into the kitchen. When the manager came out I informed her of what had happened to us as well as what I had observed. At no time during the conversation did the manager apologize or offer a solution. She asked what I wanted to happen and I told her we would very much like our drinks. She made our drinks and brought them to us at which time we ordered another round and she delivered those drinks as well. We had ordered the mushrooms as an appetizer when we ordered the first round of drinks, those arrived 23 minutes after ordering. Our food then arrived 8 minutes later. I have worked as a waitress and bartender for 4 years and in no way was any of this scenario acceptable. I do not understand the complete non chalant attitude of the manager or the fact that there was absolutely no apology given. This is the second time that we have been given service in this way and I'm sure that we are not the only people this has happened to. I thought the corporate office would want to be aware of the way that their customers are treated in their restaurants.
the food and service
I went my mother 50th birthday party with a party of 11 people on 01/18/2018. The female staff smelled like smoke. She act like she didn't want to take my orders. We gave her our drinks orders and she didn't come back until like 30 minutes later. We most of us only got regular drinks and 2 had mix drinks. She come back and still had our orders wrong. She started saying she tired and they didn't tell her she had a party this big and how short the kitchen was. Then, she took our food order.. Took her about one Hours in a half to come back with anything. But, when she came back the Orders Was Wrong Again and the food was so cold. She, stated that she had to wait on everybody to bring other food. So we ask for the manager. The Manager was no better than her. Told us we done ate out food so we to pay for it. So i paid $871.85 and didn't even eat the food. I Paid and we left.
food, service, awful
I placed a order to go matter a fact a $75.00 order.. when I went in to pick up.my order I stood there for 5+ mins as a bar tender ignored me standing there. Then a another man approached and he asked him can I help u.. that's when I lost it... hjow dare you stand there and ignore me when i was less than 5 ft. From you...finally my food came out and when I got home my food was cold, burnt, and missing sides i did call back to the store and let the manager know exactly how I felt.. He was not happy and said he would try and rectify the situation.. I THINK THE ONLY WAY TO SOLVE THIS IS TO RETURN MY $75.

complaint
I went with my nephew and my poppa. As soon sd we walked in we were told it would just be a minute until they bussed a table.I was fine with that until it took anyone to notice us.Finally our waiter came over and complained about all the staff including a manager by the name of rich.In which we never met rich because we waited for 20mins and then gave us a nasty cheese biscuits.Your cheddar biscuits are the best at every red lobster ive been too.So we get water with our biscuits and the server said he'd be right out to take our order.I didnt get to even start with my appetizer.Your orlando red lobster thats on international drive should be shut down.Terrible service, everyone was lost in the weeds, and tons of tables were complaining.I felt so bad that i almost wanted to help.I live in titusville and we drive kinda far to get to your location and we also go to the one in melbourne.Needless to say i had to bring this to your attention.I will just go to the melbourne one even though its a little further.

product and service
Paid $114 for the worst service in my life. All started when our server spilt my moms sangria All over my stepdad THEN LAUGHED ABOUT IT. It was my moms birthday. Not impressed then the food came out pasta was over done and my moms shrimp in her alfredo wasn't done you could clearly see the shrimp were translucent. Then the manager laughed gave her coconut shrimp that we had to pay more for! MEANWHILE we didn't get anything comped off for the drink being spilt all over or the shrimps. I'm disappointed it was mine and my boyfriends first time there and we will NOT be returning.
Some people laugh when they are nervous, but that would still annoy me if someone split a drink on me and laughed and didn't apologize. RL has gone downhill, in terms of service and food.
charged for incorrect orders/ hospitality/service
On December 31st my family and I went to the East Brunswick Red lobster for NYE dinner. We arrived at around 9 pm, and were seated quickly. We were placed right under a vent blowing cold air, but it only gets worse. After the waiter, whose name was Brenda, took our orders, she never came back. The appetizer was never placed, and we waited for around 45 minutes. Then another waiter brought the wrong food to our table. Finally our food came, and this is when we were shocked. We were told the appetizer and biscuits were left out by mistake. It was a little past 10 pm by this point, so the waiter told us the kitchen was now closed. I requested to speak to a manager, who apologized and said she would get us the appetizer we ordered. It never came, and our waiter told us the manager had made a mistake when she said that. The food that came was cold and stale. I asked for it to be reheated, and even then it was like eating rubber. Regardless we were charged for one plate since we tried it, but received a refund for the other (returned it after tasting the first one). I am completely shocked by this type of behavior and experience. I have been a customer at Red lobster for fifteen years, and I have never come across this issue before. Our entire night was ruined, and we went home hungry. I understand that it is NYE and that everyone is rushing to get to their homes, but this type of serving is equivalent to not serving at all. Our waiter did not even order the correct food, let alone check up on us at all. I would like to request a refund for my order, and I hope that someone else does not have to go through the same experience. One of the worst experiences I have had in a lifetime, and it is odd since I always used to pick Red lobster over other restaurants. I have attached a copy of my receipt for the dish that I was charged for. I am requesting a full refund, and I hope that the store is contacted as well. I do not want someone else's family to have to go through what we did tonight.
food and online pick up
Ordered online went to pick it up got home I didn't get one of the dinners wild caught flounder with mashed potatoes side, also build your own 3 course combination didn't receive part of the order order of the coconut shrimp. My order was supposed to be ready and I still had to wait 20 minutes for it I showed up on time. Contact the store talk to her manager she said she noticed it after I left and they still didn't call me to let me know I had to wait till I got home to call. They've said they were send out a gift card I've had problems before and I never received the gift card before. Second time I've had a problem with this place I probably won't be coming back have to pay good money for good food and don't receive half of it.
When did the issue occur that resulted in them offering you a gift card? Sometimes something like that can take 6-8 weeks.
disgusting meals
On Fri. 12/22/2017, my mother-in-law treated my wife & I to lunch at the Vineland, NJ Red Lobster. We eat at this location at least 6 times/year. I chose the Surf & Turf Feast with Caesar salad. My wife tried the "New" Pub Style Fish & Chips, since her favorite hand-battered fish & chips had been eliminated from the menu. My mother-in-law chose the Coconut Fried Shrimp with Caesar salad. First, the coffee served to me and my mother-in-law was bitter. Second, the lettuce in the salads was brown and wilted. My wife's meal came without the coleslaw that was supposed to come with the meal. Her fish was greasy and looked like frozen squished patties, not freshly made. She asked the manager why they eliminated the hand-battered fish & chips, but received a shrug of the shoulders and was told "Its something new." The roasted brussel sprouts that came with my meal were hard as rocks - totally inedible. The stuffed baked potato that came with my meal was a flattened pancake under the shrimp in sauce that was rock hard, again inedible and couldn't be cut into with the steak knife I was given. My sirloin steak was tough and my lobster tail was way over cooked and tough. My mother-in-law's shrimp was good, but the pina colada sauce was lumpy and nasty tasting. Her steamed broccoli was inedible. My wife was finally served her coleslaw but it was poorly made and nothing like we are normally served. The manager brought out another potato, but it too was a squished rock that was inedible. This was the worst meal we have ever had at a Red Lobster. The chef ought to be ashamed of himself for serving such food. The manager did nothing to assuage our disgust for our meals. We will not be back.
service/food quality
On Thursday, December 14th me, my son and daughter-in-law visited the Langhorne, Pa Red Lobster. After a long evening of Christmas shopping we decided to stop in for dinner around 8 p.m. There was only approximately 3 other "parties" waiting to be seated. After several times of checking with the hostess and many people seated before us, we finally were seated 45 minutes later. It then took 15 minutes before we were greeted by our server. Then another 15 minutes before she returned with our drinks and to take our dinner order. My son and daughter-in-laws came out probably 30 minutes later but somehow my dinner order was "lost". It arrived 20 minutes later after supposively being expedited it was brought out and not cooked as ordered. After this experience I don't know if or when we'll be back.
food n service
Dec 20, 2017 ate at Red Lobster in La Mesa, Ca. Ate at a booth in the bar area that was so tight u could barely fit in between stationary table n chair! Service was terrible got our drinks way after our appetizers! Had to ask where our drinks were. The Ultimate dinner was served without butter, n was ice cold! For $30. I expect hot food! I was almost thru with my meal when I finally got the butter that usually is served with meal n extra lemon I ordered when the so called manager had left our entrees! The first time I ate here in Oct service was terrible but food was great! This time service n food was awful!
customer service and food
On Dec. 15, 2017 we decided to take our Grand Mother and Parents to Red Lobster in Southgate, Michigan. It was her 90th. birthday and she had never been to Red Lobster, Our initial wait was about 40 minutes because it was crowded. Our wait person was not at all concerned about our complaints. My dad said not to complain, but we did. Our foods came to us at seperate times, some were cold, some were hot, our appetizers (Salads) were not of quality, (Core peices of the salad and some leafs were rust colored) My wifes steak was bloody and had to be sent back. I had asked for the manager and was told that the manager was not available at the moment. My father then told me to forget about it and pressed through with food that was cold, food that was uncooked, and spoiled (Salad). We paid our tabs individually and left, vowing to never visit this Red Lobster again and to tell everyone we could about the service and attitude of the business.n There were approxiamately 12 of us. My families order came to over 70 dollars and I was not a happy customer.

Visited north miami redlobster for lunch. Drinks took over 6min to get, (1 coke, i water, and i alcoholic drink) not busy and only 2 guests at the bar. We ate in dining room.we order 3 fish and chips . Lunch came out and fish was totally absorbed with grease, probably because it was cooked and then redropped in fryliater to heat back up . Coleslaw came out 3 min after our lunch. Server was friendly but this place needs serious training! Protecting the brand should be #1 and managers need to be held accountable when standards are not being held.
food and service
Visited the Red Lobster in Elkhart, Indiana last night for dinner. The service was terrible but at least the waitress was honest when she said she was TIRED!
My wife never received her clam chowder and the biscuits were terrible. Our entrees were not very tasty and very late arriving. For what we paid for our meal, we could have gone across the street and had a nice steak dinner.
Finally, whoever makes the decision to not celebrate Christmas should be FIRED! No Christmas decorations were to be found in this restaurant, how sad. Don't you realize OBAMA is no longer president and we can celebrate Christmas again.
It will be a longtime before we visit another Red Lobster.
The Christmas aspect of your complaint is silly. Not everyone celebrates Christmas and some people just don't like decorations (they may not have the time and/or funds to put them up either). If you're going to complain about it, why not offer to pay for and hang up the decorations yourself? I'm sure they would happily accept your offer.
If you're going to complain about In regards to the food, did you ask to speak to a manager to provide your feedback?
By the way, expecting someone to be fired simply for deciding not to put up Christmas decorations does not seem to be within the Christmas spirit. I'm guessing you celebrate it differently than most.
everything
We haven't been to a Red Lobster in 5 years due to horrible service and cold food, but we thought what the heck maybe things have changed. Well we were wrong. By far the worst service I have ever expiernced. It took the waiters 20 minutes to bring menus and get our drink order. Another 30 minutes to get our food order. When the food finally came everything was cold, overcooked and the steak was was bland and tough that a chainsaw would have dulled trying to cut it. The manager told the waitress to get our table free deserts. In the mean time the table behind us had a jin and tonic spilled on one of the customers lap. Which also happened to my wife the last time we were there (deja vu). Back to the desert, after 30 minutes of waiting we went to the hostess paid our check and left. For 20-30$ a plate would expect a much better expiernce.
product availability
I went to Red Lobster this afternoon and had a great waiter/bartender. I ordered brussel sprouts as a side and was soon told that they were not available and then I ordered green beans. About 15 minutes later, the waiter told me that they were also out of them. I told the waiter I was no longer interested in another side and asked for some sort of a discount. The waiter spoke with the manager who audibly told him that it was his fault for not informing me that they were out of green beans, he should have known. The manager did not apologize to me at all, instead repeatedly tried to get me to order broccoli, which I don't like. The manager gave very poor customer service and did not validate my complaint.
service
For our anniversary I decided to take my husband and our children to red lobster. It is his favorite place to eat. The wait wasn't to bad for a seat. However it took forever to get our drinks after we sat. The server got our orders and the food took what seemed like an eternity. Some dishes came out cold . The lettuce in my salad was wilted. The server was to busy to care or check in on us much at all. So refills were not an option. I was going to say something to her but my aggravation was high, the kids were getting sleepy and grumpy from the long wait of everything. It's fair to say it was our worse experience ever at a Red Lobster. We just paid for the food and left disappointed.
