ultimate feast/ I am complaining about an unknown item on my plate!
I ordered the ultimate feast. When the waitress brought my order it looked ok but odd. 1rst off the lobster tail was on top of the crableggs which were on top of rice pilaf. Then i noticed the lobster tail was white, as if it hadn't been cooked or under cooked. So as i started to take my lobster meat out of it shell, i also picked up the crableggs to kinda move them to the side because as i stated the lobster tail was on top of the crableggs. When u picked up the crableggs i noticed there was something on top of the rice. It appeared to be a label of some sort. It was tape with writing on it. I immediately asked for a manager! A few minutes wrnt by and my server came around to see if everything was ok. I said no it is not i need a manager. I asked once already! I showed her the plate she was just as disappointed as i was. So she went to get the manager. 5 mins later the manager came asking what was the problem. I showed her my plate and asked her us that tape she said yes it is. Instead of her suggesting options on how to resolve the issue or even apologizing she gave an excuse as to what it was.. I said why are you making an excuse. I know what it is why is it on my plate ! She then offered to take the plate back and make another one. I told her no maam tbat will not be necessary. Youll probably just take the tape off and send the plate back out. Wich is a high possibility. I just left. Never in over 28 years have i ever had issue as disgusting as this one. And the lack of concern and ability to recover the situation was just ridiculous!
manager and over 40 minutes and no 2nd order
My daughter, granddaughter and myself went to lunch at Polaris Red lobster, which we have been customers for years. Our server was quite nice. Manager brought my daughter's crab legs out without a cracker. It took over 20 minutes for her to finally be able to eat her dinner. My granddaughter and I both had endless shrimp. When we placed our 2nd order we waited and waited, they finally brought out her pasta minus shrimp. After 40 minutes I went in search of the manager. He asked what i was waiting for, I said popcorn coconut shrimp. He said he would be right back, I told him I didn't want anything as they were done eating and waiting. Another 15 minutes passed and I asked for manager again. He sent server out with the shrimp packed to go. I told them it wasn't requested. Manager left and sent server to tell us he had taken 10 dollars off the bill. That did bring the bill down to $86 put didn't help when both my granddaughter and myself had our meals ruined and daughters 2 lbs of crab legs were cold because she couldn't get anyone to get a cracker even though manager said he would be right back with them when he brought the legs. He also said he had to search the freezer to find the coconut shrimp and have them cook it, I've never heard such a lame excuse. He certainly ruined our meal. We were there 2 hours and zero refills of endless shrimp.

I was Previously given $140 gift card for a horrible experience we had at Red Lobster Whitehall, PA back on July ‘17. Our food was served cold and we received incorrect sides to our meal. Just in general we felt rushed out of the restaurant because it was a Sunday evening. So we decided to go back on September 8 to the same restaurant and try it out again. Our main complaint is that we asked for Alaskan King crab legs but received southern crab legs. Alaskan King crab legs should be reddish when cooked properly. These crab legs were orange, we even have a picture of the crab legs that were served. So it’s missed leading when they say all these are Alaskan King crab legs but they are not. The service was good our waitress was great and so was the manager but it comes down to miss leading the customer on what product is being served. Im sure the legs were golden king crab which is one of the 3 king crab species found in alaska. So it is not false marketing and is in fact a lack of judgement and prior knowledge on your end. They use them because its the species that is most abundant and had less meat in the legs making it cheaper.

I came to the red lobster in fairborn and service was horrible. They did not take my order until 24 minuted later after I sat down. I arrived here around 6:15 and it is 7:07 as we speak and I have not gotten my regular food. The manager came over and gave me a free appetizer. That is not helpful. They need better service. I can't give a waiter a tip when service was horrible. They used someone who did not have the section. Ridiculous
all you can eat shrimp
I was at red lobster for the all you can eat shrimp. I was there with a total group of 7 people. The restaurant was not busy. We waited 45 minutes for our first round of shrimp. Meanwhile my kids who are 1 and 2 years old were done eating their chicken fingers and French fries. Their food came out and they were finished before receiving the shrimp that 5 of us ordered at the same time that we ordered the kids food. So when it finally came out we ordered our next round. It came out in about 15 minutes so we ordered the next round and about an hour later and 4 times of the waitress asking if we received our food and a manager coming over to us it finally came out. It was a matter of about 2 minutes after the manager showed up. We didn't receive all the ones we ordered but we were not about to stay any longer. You would think if your having a special all you can eat shrimp you would have your shrimp ready and be a little faster at producing them and getting them out to the customers.

First I would like to say I have been a patron of this place for years and love it thank u. But on Sept 21 I took my friend there for her birthday and the service was awful. I ordered endless shrimp, shrimp scampi when I received the shrimp it was overcooked and rubbery. The waiter sent it back and assured me I will get some more and the linguine. After bout 30min I asked her where's my food she say it's coming. It was a group of 9 so we all talking I still haven't gotten my shrimp. It's an hour now I have eaten a salad and that's it. Still no shrimp all she kept saying was I have a lot coming but it never came. Finally an hour and 15min later I get my shrimp. No linguine. Her explanation was there was another big party and they kept taking her orders she was putting in for us. Bout another hour later I got the linguine. By this time im tired and ready to go and didnt wanna spoil my friend birthday dinner. It was awful and I honestly have never experienced such at any Red Lobster in my history with u guys.
host stand/seating issue
I still await SOME KIND of feedback on my complaint against the Westland, Michigan Red Lobster store.
I specifically REQUESTED one of my favorite servers at the restaurant, and instead of being assigned to that section, I was humiliated by the hostess AND by the dining room manager who didn't even have the professionalism to discuss things with me...but the two of them went right "in my face, " with their SICK little agenda...(and I KNOW what was going on!)
The server I asked for, didn't even know what was going on. As a 30 year Red Lobster guest who has even ASSISTED servers with letters for college, college education, and even "crisis counseling, " I think I deserve better than that.
Failure to hear from SOMEONE THIS WEEK, while result in my 1) Going to Corporate, possibly requesting an in-person appointment, and/or 2) Going through higher channels.

Our service was beyond slow- my friend's meal came out 15 minutes -- no joke- 15 minutes BEFORE MINE -- and my king crab was cold when it came out FINALLY- I couldn't order the drink I wanted to order because of the equipment not functioning- horrible horrible meal and the waitress was clueless that our meals were not out together- she didn't care it was her last night working in this Poughkeepsie restaurant.

Once we received our food. My potatoes was cold couldn't get a fresh one. Then our water need to be retail and that didn't happen never got any extra refills on my all you can eat shrimp then when I asked for a manager that even took about 20 minutes you guys service have gone down the drain and use the eat at Papadaues in Atlanta you guys don't come nowhere near. I only came out for all you can eat shrimp now I'm not interested in coming back out at all I just want to let you know how I know this is terrible.
horrible service and poor management
My wife, two daughters, son in law, my mother and myself arrived at red lobster at 6:45 pm looking to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday party we were promptly seated at 7 pm and from there things went horribly wrong. Our waitress seemed to be handling about 8 tables in our section and although we got our menus right away she disappeared and we didn't get drinks ordered for 10 minutes, then 10 minutes further before we saw her again to drop some biscuits on our table we said that we were ready to order but she advised that she had other customers to wait on and disappeared for another 10 minutes. So 30 minutes in we finally get to place our orders 3 of us ordered the endless shrimp, 1 ordered the fish and chips, 1 the pick 2 and my mother the shrimp linguine with asparagus. From there the long wait begins 15 minutes later we ask is our food almost out?.. To this we are quickly given more biscuits and told the kitchen is running behind, then she disappears for another 15 minutes. We have been seated for an hour and still don't have our food! This is on a thursday?... Can't see how this place operates on the weekends. 10 minutes later our waitress finally shows up with our food minus several sides and mixed up orders, I tell her we would like to go ahead and put in our orders for the next 2 dishes for the endless shrimp to insure that we could get them in a timely manner since we have been here way to long and she says shes going to check on the missing sides. Well another 20 minutes later she finally shows up with no not our next orders for the endless shrimp which we have already finished our first plate of but with my mothers missing asparagus which is burnt on one end my mother said she wasn't eating it I tried a piece and it tasted like it was pure salt, horrible and burnt! I asked where our next plates were for the endless shrimp and she said she would check with the kitchen. You guessed it 15 minutes later she shows up with the dishes, I asked to speak with the manager at this point. The manager shows up to our table and I explain my frustration and that this should be a typical 1 hour meal from start to finish and we have been there over 2 hours, she says that the kitchen is backed up with orders from customers for the endless shrimp offer. Once again this is on a thursday, why offer a special if its going to shut your restaurant down to the point that the service sucks. Very very disappointed! The manager offered no apology or compensation for the poor service. We usually go the the red lobster in clarksville, in where we have gotten good service, we opted to go to this one because it was closer to my mothers home. Won't make that mistake again.

Always go to Red Lobster on my birthday love it except today was terrible we waited over 1 hour for are food ask why was it taking so long they said cause they had a party of 16 but they were not busy are food came out it was cold called for the manager took it back still came kinda cold no bread for about the 30 mins I order a lobester margrette frozen took 25 minutes to get it then it was all watery I told her take it back cause why did it take that long it had to be sitting there for 20 or minutes I want a new one .I told the manager we deserve a discount she did not here is my ticket# [66407] at kansas city barry rd we spent $139.47 we always spend over 100.00.

September 16, 2017 I had the worst experience @ Red Lobster I was extremely disappointed. The behavior the the employees demonstrated was very Distasteful, disruptive & unprofessional. I witnessed two employees running in the restaurant, bickering right in our dining area. It was chaos you had employees dropping dishes breaking them. I will never eat there again or any red lobster.
unauthorized credit card charges
On 9/12/2017 we went for dinner at Red Lobster 2328 Commercial Way Spring Hill 34606. Including myself it was 6 (2 teenagers - 4 adults). We had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated / 15 minutes for server to come to the table / 35 minutes for the food (it was ok - little bit cold). We split the bill (3+3) My bill (check) number was 64786, we were on table 41 and our server name was Ashley L. The total on my bill was $81.03 (without tip) I gave her the credit card to pay ($81.03) and I signed the receipt for that amount...I handle the serve a $20.00 bill as a tip. Few days later I realized that Red Lobster has charge $101.03 to my bank account (instead of $81.03) I called by phone (I live in tampa that is 48 miles away from this particular restaurant) and request to speak to the manager. when she talked to me she acted like is all my fault that I did signed the tip on the bill (that was not true I told her I have 5 witness that saw me tip the waitress in cash) and not only I tipped more than 20% the server did not care, neither the manager I guess...after arguing with her for 10 minutes she told me " Well this is what I'm going to do for you, I will reimburse the $20 back to your credit card...but it is going to be a few days until you see the money in the account, you know because the power failures and the storm, etc etc etc.." ARE YOU KIDDING ME...she acted like she was doing me a favor. I told her I got the copies of all my receipts with me and it shows the amount of $81.03 on it and she says that I signed the store copy I told her I will stop by their restaurant and I want to see that particular bill with my signature on it showing $101.03...and that maybe after the facts someone has added more money to that bill. WE STILL LOVE RED LOBSTER - BUT THIS IN PARTICULAR WE WON'T BE PATRONIZING ANYMORE... we love the one in Tampa anyways

my son and I took mom out to eat for her birthday to red lobster. we ordered two appetizers for my son I orderd admirals feast my wife orderd endless shrimp . she finished everything she was served including the rice peloff and wanted more shrimp scampi. 35minutes later they bring her 7 small shrimp in a dish. not willing to wait for more shrimp we asked for the bill that had a charge for 2 orders of asparagus that we were told they were out of, but it was on the bill anyway . my biggest complaint was the way they did the endless shrimp endless only if you want to stay all night.the restaurant only had 7 tables occupied so it was obvious the slow service is their way of limiting your dinner.
i think that the worst part about all of this is that my mom turned against me. my son had to use the washroom, and i was so angry at red lobster that I started swearing at him and when we made an emergency stop I started hitting him, my mom threatened to report this to the police and social services. i told her to mind her own business and that if she does this my so will be living with my stupid ex wife and they probably won't let me see him, she reported me anyway and now i may not be allowed to see my son unless my ex approves and she is so stupid that she will not approve just to be mean.

On 9/13/2017 my boyfriend and i went to red lobster to get some dinner. It was not busy. We got seated and waited for someone to serve us. 10 minutes passed and nobody had came to our table yet. I have been eating at red lobster for over 30 years, but last night our visit to celebrate my sons 16th birthday on Howe Ave Sacramento, was not the red lobster I remember. It all started as soon as we sat down, I could hear the guests sitting next to us complaining about the food and service. Our server was very late coming to our table, and as she arrived without any delay, began to apologize for the "kitchen" problems. I could tell she was already setting the stage for a bad experience. She seemed disinterested in making us feel relaxed, but rather a escape for what was going to happen. Bad food, and bad service. We put in our drink orders, and also ordered a shrimp cocktail. Usually by now, we would already have biscuits to eat, but we did not receive any at all until we finally had to ask, even though other tables around us were getting them. After almost 15 minutes our drinks finally arrived, and our shrimp cocktail, which was only 3 shrimp instead of the usual 5. She explained that there was a delay in the "kitchen". We placed our orders, and patiently waited for our biscuits to arrive. Meanwhile the complaining people next to us continued to carry on with their dissatisfaction, which was beginning to ruin the mood. When our food finally arrived, usually they bring all the entrees at the same time, but in this instance, they only brought out 2, and the other 2 did not arrive for almost 10 more minutes! It was ackward to have 2 people at our table eating, while the other 2 waited. I ordered the rock lobster, but upon arrival, the lobster was black on the outside, and it only had broccoli. The rice was missing, and our server non shalauntly explained after the fact that the "kitchen" was out of rice. She didn't even come and ask prior to serving my plate, if I wanted extra broccoli or something different. The other 3 entrees in our party were not very good either. Nobody was happy at all with the food. Also, I also almost broke my tooth, after biting into something very hard, which appeared to be a piece of something off the grill that my lobster was cooked on. Usually lobstered are steamed or baked. This was awful to be honest! As our birthday celebration turned worse and worse, we were just ready to end the night and get out of there. We usually order desert and sing happy birthday, but not tonight! Between the complaining people, lousy service, and bad food, we were just ready to get out of there fast! I paid 149 dollars for a lousy meal, and tipped 20 dollars for lousy service. It is safe to say, I will not be back to Red lobster for a very long time! Probably never!

Last night my daughter birthday we attended Red Lobster for the all you can eat shrimp promotion first when we got there we were not greeted and it smelled like urine in the foyer of the restaurant upon being seated we were not waited on for 30 minutes then when the waitress came to get high drink order she address my daughter as a man if she didn't know the gender she should have just said what would you like to drink after that my drink orders were not put in until about 45 minutes upon making it there and when they came the drink was so full of ice that we could not even drink it had to send it back then I food came out and my order was not what I wanted it to be my salad was dressed in salad dressing and it had nothing but lettuce and tomatoes on a garden salad my baked potato was supposed to be a loaded baked potato he came out with just butter so the biscuits came out and they were cold so we sent them back for more fresh ones and this time they came out wrong at that time I had given up my daughter was so upset about the service that we were receiving that she didn't want to eat there for her birthday so the manager came to the table she assisted us but she was not much help either she reduce that bill but that didn't compensate for the bad customer service that we had the other waitress was not polite at all needless to say my daughter got her meals for free it was a bad experience and I just expected more from that location on 635 I normally go on Northwest Highway and 35 in Irving Texas the service is always excellent there I don't know why this restaurant has fallen off the way they did
food over, salted lukewarm and watery
9.9 .2017, Jacksonville, NC Every single part of two dinners was massively over salted, starting with the cheddar bay biscuits and then all fish and sides. Additionally the shrimp were obviously frozen product rather than fresh and were watery, mushy, and barely heated through. Red Lobster used to be an exciting destination meal occasion with large portions for the price, extensive fresh menu, and high quality seafood; but apparently now the only thing that is the same is the high prices. This was supposed to be a treat for a birthday dinner out, what a disappointment! $50 wasted.
poor management
I could not believe the sad sight I witnessed at Red Lobster on Fm 1960 in Houston, TX. My waitress was very polite, helpful and patient. She took really great care of my family and I. I was just disgusted at the way the manager came to her section, told her to hurry up and clean her section so they can sit her again. This poor young lady was surrounded by people at almost all of her tables and considering that we sat down right after the people in front of us, we were totally understanding, but for this unhelpful and impatient lady to rush her was uncalled for. We were appreciative of her service and we're glad for the experience, but not at the expense of her dignity like that. Serving is a labor of love and compassion. Someone should teach management how to manage without trying to embarrass people doing their best.
plastic in shrimp linguini
My husband ordered the endless shrimp, he got the shrimp linguini and 2 bites in he started choking on a 6 inch piece of seran wrap, he pulled it out of his throat. The waiter was apologetic and immediately said he would get the meal comped. Manager, Jeff, came over and never asked if my husband was ok, just wanted to get him another order of the shrimp linguini. My husband declined. We were charged fully for all meals even though he didn't feel like eating after almost choking. This situation could have been ALOT worse and the manager just came with excuses to the table. This was handled incredibly poorly. I, myself, found a hair in my sweet potato casserole a few months back and we decided to try this Red Lobster again because it was handled correctly and with concern. This time it was not and had he breathed in while taking this bite he could have died or choked more serverly requiring medical treatment. Pictures attached of both.
